SheCodes Basics

Thank you for the opportunity to take this wonderful course. The information is presented in an accessible and easy to understand manner. It was very interesting and helpful. I hope to continue my studies in this direction. Good luck to the whole team!

I loved this course! I'm writing my Masters dissertation these days and I was worried about making time for this workshop, but the instructions were clear and the lesson-related challenges were equally instructive, and I found myself completing tasks on time and retaining the information too! I'm looking forward to starting the SheCodes Plus course, and I'd recommend this workshop to everybody who wants to start coding.

I am very grateful to the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn basic knowledge of coding. Despite the fact that I had no experience in coding at all, all the training material was extremely clear to me. Participation in the workshop from the SheCodes motivated and inspired me to develop in coding.

loved SheCodes basics! Classes and challenges are addictive. I feel like I learned great basics and I want to continue studying code!

SheCodes is a great workshop if you're eager to try your hands at Frontend development. Everything is carefully thought out!

This experience was a serious eyeopener. Matt is a pleasure to learn from and the courses kept me on my toes. There are a ton of videos to learn from and the projects are a blast to do.  The UI is quite pleasing as well 👍

Amazing course! I am very grateful to the team for all the knowledge and experience that I received! Good program, explanation and quick help if you stuck. Well done! Keep it up!

“It was a happy coding process. I did HTML, CSS and JS parts as well. I hope my coding joinery will continue and I will be able to create beautiful and useful things.”

I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to study at the course! I always wanted to learn how to code and SheCodes course helped to make my dream comes true. In this course I have learnt so much with SheCodes team's help. I haven't had any experience in coding before and it was very interesting to start. Thanks to Matt, that explains everything in a very understandable way, I feel totally ready to go next course and start learning coding more detailing. Highly recommends for beginners!

The course is laid out accessible and simple, with SheCodes you can learn to code and have fun

I really liked this workshop. I wanted to get a taste of coding and it has been a great experience.

I absolutely loved SheCodes Basics. It was extremely digestible for a person with no coding experience. They provide all the greatest resources. The only area that was a little tough was the end of the JavaScript section but they provided so many additional assistance via Slack, it evened out. I plan on pursuing further workshops when my situation allows it. Thank you, SheCodes!

Matt is absolutely amazing at presenting concepts of any complexity! I enjoyed the course and had a lot of fun with all the challenges! Best educational experience I’ve got so far, highly recommend!

What I loved about the course was how hands-on it all was. The learners don't get overwhelmed with the theory and are handed all the necessary tools to make visible progress in every class. I truly enjoyed the basic course and look forward to the next ones!

“SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in starting their coding journey.

I tried programming courses before and SheCodes is truly the best one I learned. I am grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to learn new skills!🤓

I really enjoyed sharing something I love (my town, Mitla!) in my final project. I'm surprised I could make something so polished after three weeks! Well, it's self-paced so more like two weeks for me. It's comparable in content to the Odin Project but unlike that site SheCodes is very direct and practical and almost all the content is on the SheCodes site. SheCodes offers mostly video demonstrations with transcripts and code examples. You learn on the site, you are not directed to learn thru links to offsite learning resources, although it is suggested to do further searching to bolster learning and links with resources are offered. There is very little fluff: no history of the internet beyond a brief summary. If you want something practical, direct, and efficient, this is it. The slack channel and LinkedIn networking are alive and well: this is very attractive if you are trying to build a network. It's also very international, not US-focused.

You`ve made super courses! I was happy to learn with you❤️

I highly recommend SheCodes for girls who want to switch jobs. The information was completely new to me but Matt could explain it easier for understanding. I was excited about doing my homework every time. Almost every exercise was with a bonus task where you should use your googling skills and logic.

I liked the sequence of teaching. Maybe the information is not very detailed, but the main things are highlighted and the materials provided, you can find what you need. I even can't wish for more in a short time.
