I have competed udacity's Full-Stack Web developer Nanodegree and during my interview to my current company I was asked most of the questions that were thoroughly explained in this course. Needless to say it is mostly because of this course and its content I am currently developing mobile applications for our clients and could launch myself into a IT world. The course was a perfect match for someone with little to no IT skills and it was all around a all-you-need starting pack for entering the programming world.

So here I am sitting on my Laptop at the same place from where i satrted my udacity Journey.
But a lot has changed between that time and now.
I will try to summarise my whole story in few point by telling my life events before and after getting graduated from udacity full-stack web developer course.
Before Starting Udacity Course:
It was October 2017 and I was in my 3rd year of my B.E grad and Did Multiple Courses related to web developement multiple times still have no clue how exactly web developer's works.
Got rejected from atleast 3-4 company for not answering simple conceptual web questions
No idea of How to Use Git or Github
Studied computer Networking in my college but still had no clue, how exactly that works
No Idea how to contribute in open source.
I always have to rewatch the courses video that I did in order to revise(not knowing how to get help from documentation)
Never had confidence that i can work on some new framework unless i have done any course on that for atleast 2 - 3 month
Never had any experience of inerview specifically for web developer as a fresher
After Starting Udacity Course:
I was the the only fresher in my batch who gave KT to People who are senior to me in the both the organisation that i have worked.
Withing a year that i have graduated, I have a total of 4 offer letters in hand. and got the oppurtunity to work in two company one of which is a multinational company
I have around 100 repository in github.
Got my first offer letter in an MNC for explaining how web works from front to back
More than 40 open source contribution
Now i don't need to watch videos if a new framework is thrown at me in work with the knowledge of how to use documentation that i learnt from udacity
Never had confidence that i can work on some new framework unless i have done any course on that Now i start working on same day or next day if a new framework is thrown at me
Got the oppurtunity to attend real interview for web development while i was doing the course itself which helped me a lot when i started giving interviews after i finished as i knew what are the usual questions that are asked in web develpment interviews
So this is my real life story how udacity changed my life and transformed me from 0 to Hero

I started my development career at Udacity and took a bunch of courses they have, from intro to programming to React development, going through data visualization and Html canvas, and I must say it was a blast, the course materials are very thorough and the instructors are nice and knowledgeable, but the most important for me were the mentors and reviewers which I feel are the greatest asset Udacity has!
Student 2016
An amazing platform with a great community and a quality range of courses. The level of knowledge and experience gained through Udacity greatly helped the course of my career as a software developer.

The program is most illuminating and very benificial to someone who has some of the programming concepts. It guides the students step by step in a project based manner to consolidate their newly attained knowledge from the lessons presented by Udacity. I started working as a Backend Developer a couple of months after I took the degree and delivered the project I was working on perfectly, thanks to Udacitys lessons. I surely have reviewed some of the lessons whilst I was working as well. Not to mention how helpful the mentor assigned to me was and the added feature of the Student Hub that connects students of the same nanodegree together in a forum-like widget on the website which is really helpful, insightful and resourceful.
A little downside is that maybe some of the stuff at the curriculum may seem a bit outdated. Moreover, most companies and startups (as far as Web Development is concerned) prefer using JavaScript as their frontend and backend programming language. In Udacity's program, Python is used. It's not really much of a downside though, because you get the same concepts to work with, only the syntax and flow may change a little bit, but I would personally love if there was an extra backend JavaScript section in the program.
