School of IT
School of IT offers both online and in person bootcamps from its campuses in Cape Town and Somerset West, South Africa. Bootcamps include Full Stack Software Development, Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing, CyberSecurity, and Data Science. Students may choose to complete the bootcamps in 12-weeks (full time) or 24-weeks (part time). All bootcamps come with courseware, including ebooks, certain software programs, and additional resources.
No prior coding or educational experience is required. Anyone with a passion for IT is welcome to apply. The bootcamps are also open to current high school students. Start times are flexible, and students may begin courses as soon as they have registered. Students can choose the days and times they want to complete coursework and interact with their mentor.
All School of IT bootcamp students will be assigned a personal mentor with whom they will work 1:1 throughout the duration of the program. Mentors will teach via interactive software and will be able to interact with students’ computer screens and assist with coding and software challenges as though they were in the same room with the student.
School of IT offers job placement assistance for all bootcamps that are between 12 and 24 weeks long. School of IT recommends that students pass international qualification exams before applying for employment.
Payment plans allow bootcamp students the option to pay in 20 hour intervals rather than paying the full cost of tuition upfront. School of IT graduates will receive a certificate of achievement upon bootcamp completion. Students may choose to take internationally recognized Microsoft, Oracle, CompTia++, and/or Adobe certification exams, but these are not required as part of the bootcamp.

As a Microsoft tool it has a great integration with other MS solution as name above, but it’s hard to integrate with externals apps. I'd be lying if i told you teaching yourself is a cheaper alternative than taking a course, because if money is time you'd be waisting alot of it on just the basics alone.
Being able to go through the beginner's course in 2weeks saves alot of time whilst ensuring you understand all the important information.
If you're considering coding I'd recommended taking a course, using your time efficiently and effect...School of IT to provide structure to your learning schedule.

Effective, Helpful, Transformative, Enjoyable
I finished my Full Stack development course through one-to-one online lessons looking at the front and back end of websites. I was able to learn HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc. Before I registered I was doing some research and was thinking of returning to university and doing a 4 year course. I stumbled upon school of IT offering lessons online. I read reviews and and was overall impressed but not yet settled. I then emailed to ask to speak to any admin faculty member about the respective cou...I finished my Full Stack development course through one-to-one online lessons looking at the front and back end of websites. I then emailed to ask to speak to any admin faculty member about the respective course catalog and within 20 minutes received a phone call by a friendly and helpful person who was able to give me the necessary guidance I needed to make an informed decision about which course to take.
The one-to-one mentor was phenomenal in the sense of teaching style. He was very accommodative always asking how he could improve for the next lesson. He was organised and was readily available when I asked questions in and outside of class-time. The team was always proactive, resources was made readily available with speed and they accommodated me according to when I was available as I am a fulltime worker. I don't think I would have been happier anywhere else.
