I recommend anyone and everyone who wants to get into Product Management to enroll in ProductGym. They have a robust curriculum taught by industry leaders within top tier tech companies who give hands coaching based on real world scenarios.
Furthermore, product gym is focused on getting you to the point of receiving offers. If you are committed from the beginning, mid, and end, you will achieve offers in no time. All you need to bring is your own commitment and let productgym do the rest.

I had no idea that I would be in this position today when I made the choice to join PG. It was truly the best decision ever for my career so far. Coming from an operations background working in Canada, I was feeling stagnant in my current role. I made the decision to take ownership of my career - don’t we all deserve the best job? Result: 85%+ increase in compensation and a whole different mindset and confidence level.
Loved the community spirit and friendliness of everyone willing to help out!
This isn't a con necessarily, but I would add that you definitely need to be self-motivated to achieve results.

PG is definitely a niche program and unlike any other programs you’d find out there. I received a job offer exactly a month after I started applying. Like other people’s testimonials, it’s not easy and requires TIME and DEDICATION (expect to spend at LEAST 2 hours a day applying to jobs and 2 hours a day interviewing). PG gives you enough materials and support to help you land a PM job. What I really value most about this program is the community; everyone is really helpful (special shoutout to YX cuz she’s my go to girl but everyone else is as great) and motivates you on your journey to become a PM.

Product Gym is a great program for anyone who is looking to get a Product Manager job whether you are already a PM and are looking for a better PM role or if you are just trying to break into PM. It is specifically designed to prepare candidates for rigorous interviews (all rounds) and prepares you well for every type of interview question possible. The weekly PM classes from PMs in the industry helps get real life perspectives on a variety of topics such as Technical PM, system design, UI design, UX, Stakeholder management, metrics and dashboarding, conflict management, Road mapping, prioritization, strategy etc. that one can otherwise only learn from real life experience. (I wish these were 2 classes a week) There is no other program out there that is equivalent to this program and this is well worth the money you will spend on it. There are so many PG members who have multiple PM offers, and this is possible for anyone out there who is willing join this program and to put in the work. I highly recommend this program!!

· The program is self-paced, and you get what you put in, literally. My experience has been good with the learning from supportive peers, talented coaches, and a great PG team! I got better at interviewing, it helped me get from 0-1 and 1-n. Process, philosophy and community when applied right will reap results and help you stay strong mentally throughout the transition journey. To top it off, PG team, especially Cody have been amazing to work with when faced with tough things like offer negotiation, selection, and conversion! Overall, it is an experience to go through if you are struggling to convert your interviews to offers or are even looking to get a bump or switch between different PM roles (from strategic to technical or frontend to backend, etc.) and in return you get lifetime membership and support from the PG team!

Product Gym membership is an amazing lifetime investment. I’m so greatly to stumble upon the program at the beginning of my job search, hoping to break into product management. From the free webinars and consultation call to making the decision to signing up the program, it was a no-brainer to pull the trigger because there is no program out there like Product Gym. By no means it’s an easy process; however, Product Gym has provided its members an incredible community to lean on and navigate through this journey together. The coaches are extremely knowledge and put together a solid series of PM related courses to prep you for success. It’s been less than three months since I joined the program, and I’ve generated offers and even still got many final rounds lined up in the next couple of weeks. I would highly recommend the program to anyone who wants to break into PM and is determined to put in the work! -

I joined PG after spending months getting no interviews from my PM applications, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations. The learning content is invaluable- from helping frame our mindset for success, answering any possible questions you could have on the way, and amazing online classes taught by industry professionals. The PG community though, is definitely the most valuable resource, I wouldn't have gotten this far without their support.
I am based in Canada, so I had my reservations about their process working here. I chose to go with it because it was the only Product Management program that was talking about how to actually land a job. Two months down, and I have a offer in hand, and multiple interviews every week. It works :) -

Product Gym is a great product. If I could answer an interview question “What is your favorite product?” by talking about product gym, I would. My pain points were translating my earlier career into PM responsibility not only helped me build consistency in my resume throughout 3 different industries (including nonprofit & city agencies), but it helped me see that consistency as the bigger picture for myself. I was feeling intimidated by the male-dominated industry, and where women interviewers sound as rough as Mad Men characters. I no longer fear these type A people. 💪🦾
Prior to PG, I worked with an individual career coach and spent $2K. I took a popular PM certification course and spent $5K. I still felt like I was too alone in this scary process of applying and not knowing what doesn’t sound right in my resume, how my pitch sounds. Now I know that these were luxury services, and PG is the essential survival course.
The branding process helped me build a strong resume that got me more than enough interviews. I capped my interviews at 20-22 per week (that was exhausting), and had to push anything beyond to the following or 2 weeks from the day of an interview request.
The community/ cohort and coaching calls helped me define my pitch and eliminate details that I thought were proudly transparent, but made me sound like a victim of the circumstances, or too industry detailed that would lead me to lose the interviewer’s attention. For that, friends and family might not be enough (I didn’t have many PM close enough friends to ask for feedback), so practicing my pitch with the cohort was essential.
Although I do have some experience working as a PM (less than 2 years), I took my time rebuilding my resume, cover letter and pitch based on the things I learned using the resources like the lectures that helped me recall all the things I did but didn’t see as important to include.
Then, I enrolled in the application assistant program within PG, and that led me to discover many amazing companies I would overlook. Thanks to that, I was able to focus on preparing for the interviews while getting more interview requests each day. In one month, I’ve applied to close to 600 positions, 35 round 1’s, 17 round 2’s, 5 round 3’s and 1 offer so far. Plus, I still have 2-3 more weeks of interviews scheduled.
For my next career chapter, I struggled finding the perfect combination of tech and what I am passionate about, and thanks for the volume of interviews for a wide range of industries, it helped me realize what I do not want to be doing, and in which industries, as well!
PG definitely helped me feel stronger about my PM capabilities, and they continue to support me on every step of the process. I recommend this methodology. -

Product Gym is the real deal, there is no disputing it. If you are an aspiring or current Product Manager looking to advance your career, this is the program for you. The biggest differentiator is that Product Gym focuses on landing you the job, whereas other programs just give you courses on how to be a good PM. Product Gym walks you through each step of the job search journey, from optimizing your brand (resume, cover letter, linkedin profile) to negotiating the offer, covering each step in great detail. In addition to the support for your job hunt, Product Gym provides live classes (via Zoom, thanks covid) with product professionals ranging from UX design to product marketing, and experienced PMs from PG alumni that offer key insights into their respective domains and illustrate what is important in regards to PM responsibilities as well as what to expect in the interview process. Overall, I cannot recommend Product Gym enough, this has been such a great experience from the initial consultation call to each every step along the way! -

I have over 15 years of experience in product management, but decided to join Product Gym because I have spent the last almost 10 years with the same company, and had not searched for a job in a long time. The team at Product Gym is incredible, starting with Cody, and continuing to the other team members, including Raymond, Oliver, and Roman.
Following are some of the things that stand out about Product Gym from my experience:- They helped me make significant improvements to my resume and advised me on the content and format of my cover letter. The quality of my resume and cover letter played a large role in me getting as many interviews as I did.- The membership includes classes on various aspects of product management that not only provided refreshers of the materials, but as important, focused on likely interview questions related to the materials.- When I received an offer letter and needed to make a quick decision, Cody made himself available over the weekend to be a sounding board and to give his feedback on the pros and cons of the offer.- Membership is for a lifetime. This was a huge factor in my deciding to join the Product Gym because I know I can always go back and take refresher courses or, if I am ever in the job market again, to get their feedback on my resume changes and the interview process.
In summary, I highly recommend Product Gym, and am very glad I joined. -

As someone who organically grew into a product manager role at my previous company, I was uncertain about my skills and knowledge and didn't have much PM interviewing experience. I've applied to Product Gym to improve my job search strategy, and I joined their online program. Product Gym was really helpful for me to understand how recruiters think. The other Product Management I checked out is not focused on getting you the job but rather the academics of being a PM. Product Gym caters to an audience who want to switch into product management or advance their career in Product Management. Although it is quite expensive, I'd consider it as an investment to advance my career. Product Gym teaches you how to approach interviews differently. Product Gym will give you the tools to rebrand your resume & cover letter, application strategy, interviewing tactics, case studies & offer negotiations. But keep in mind that you as a candidate will need to relentlessly put in the work to get results. This program is meant for high achievers who have ambitious goals and work ethic to go after them. At the end of the day, the PG process works if you put in the work. -

I spent the majority of last year looking for a new role in Product Management with little success. I was rarely getting callbacks from recruiters, let alone proceeding to Round 2's. I even spent several months learning to code, thinking that my lack of technical background was the culprit. Finally I heard about Product Gym and their emphasis on developing interviewing skills, as opposed to job-specific PM skills. I signed up, finished their branding protocol, then immediately began applying. Within the first week, I had R1 interviews lined up. Within the first month, I actually had to slow down my applications because I was literally getting too many interviews (10+ in a week). I received my first offer ~1.5 months after signing up, which was unthinkable previously. Their system really works. Cody, the co-founder, is especially active in the chat channels and gives a ton of advice despite working as a full-time PM himself. The community is great and I met several folks who gave me specific advice and feedback. Definitely worth the investment.
Points of feedback:
-The system is great but their content could use a refresh. Some of it is incomplete or repurposed from other sources. For the price point, I think they can include even more robust content (e.g. full interview question and answer bank), mock video interviews + feedback, etc.
-Because the program is remote and asynchronous, you don't feel like you're part of a class/cohort. I understand the challenge as they had to pivot due to Covid but the team should consider developing more community/networking opportunities
-The live classes, while great, are generally the same content as previous cohorts and there isn't a huge benefit to attending live vs. watching old recordings
Overall, none of this detracts that they have a seriously powerful program and they get results. 5 Stars!

This is more interviews than I have had in my 20+ year career! Product Gym has been one of the best decisions I have made. I have been trying endlessly to search for a job but nothing was working. I joined Product Gym in the latter half of October and by Early Feb I have already secured 2 job offers with couple more interviews still left in the pipeline. Had I tried to search for a job on my own I don't think so I would have ever been able to achieve such a success rate. The coaches at Product Gym are very supportive in answering all your queries, They will be there with you throughout the whole Job interview lifecycle. The program concept is great, the other members in the cohort are like your support system. Our weekly interview practice sessions were very helpful as I could interact with my fellow cohort mates and understand the issues and challenges we were facing and helped each other in the process. It's a budding community of like-minded individuals helping each other get better. They not only helped me with the Job interview process, but they also helped me become a better Product Manager through their classroom sessions. It's unlike any other Product Management courses out there. All they need is commitment and hard work and they clearly set the expectations clear from the start that it will not be an easy process, but if you follow their guidelines it will be worthwhile. -

PG has helped me to land 6 offers in just under 2 months. All the resources and materials provided were very practical. The strategy is straight forward but requires hard work to achieve the results. Simply put, the approach at Product Gym works. I was a product manager before so I was not transitioning from a different field, but it had been a while since I last interviewed for a job and I was vastly unprepared for the current style of interviews with 5-6 rounds. It is one set of skills to do the job and another set of skills to interview for the job. PG prepares you for both. I also was not getting as many interview requests before using the PG method. The process developed by the PG team was counterintuitive to me in some aspects and I had to overcome my own resistance to follow it sometimes - but I am glad that I stuck with it. I got two offers within 4 months at the peak of Covid. The coaching calls with Oliver were super helpful. -

When you think of joining a program/bootcamp, the only thing that matters in the end is getting a job.
I had joined another bootcamp, but it led to no success in the job market.
I like Product Gym because their focus in on getting many offers - I love the abundance mindset regardless of what is going out in the world.
While working thru' the PG program, I received many, many interviews and had to start declining some of those! And this was during the pandemic and the holiday season. I have accepted an offer!
If you want to get a job, follow their recommendations. It is like joining a gym. You work on various muscles like interviewing and not just the theory muscles. -

Their tips and recommendations felt counter-intuitive to me and go against what I typically see on job hunting recommendations online....and that's likely why their process is so effective. I immediately saw a 5X jump in responses for phone screens after using their resume & cover template. Having gone through all their interviewing topics and product management classes, I feel so prepared, calm, and in control during interviews. It's helped me get to a few final offers (I have never had more than 1 offer to choose from in my entire life). The coaches are also available for you to ping with questions, so it's really a super valuable membership! -

Product Gym was able to help me build confidence when I personally was not very confident myself. I knew I could do the work and responsibilities of a Product Manager, why couldn’t I secure a role? I learned that I had to rethink the job search process. I had to learn about myself and how I was portraying myself. I had to be exposed to the product interviewing world and I had to get the reps in to get better. Product Gym pushes you to get those reps and I started to get results after some time. It was difficult, but I can’t imagine how I’d have been able to secure my first offer without their support.
There are courses every week that you can attend and the instructors are very knowledgeable and responsive. The only constructive feedback I’d give is to be able to offer more types of classes in the future.

I've always felt like the pressures of finding a job is so much more difficult than actually doing the job. The world of product management is an interesting one in which there is no school to go to to help you train for it; rather, it's a company liking your thought process on organizing the chaos that is building products. Learning about how to do product management can be done reading books, blog posts, and watching youtube videos, but the interviewing, this is a totally different thing.
I've had interviews with companies prior to joining Product Gym and I couldn't get past round 2. I was flustered by interview questions and wasn't doing a good job of showing how I can step into a new role and contribute from day 1. I've started interviewing using methods that Product Gym teaches and I've reached many final rounds and now even have companies competing against each other to give me an offer!
Product Gym helps you present your best self whether it's branding, applying, or interviewing! Very grateful to have discovered this class.
