I enjoyed my experience at Nucamp. I feel like I got a good introduction to and understanding of the fundamentals needed to continue my journey. The material was to the point and easy to understand. Of course a bootcamp can't teach you everything there is to learn: you will have to continue learning on your own outside of the bootcamp and Nucamp provides plenty of external resources to strengthen your knowledge. Over all I felt like the community they are creating is very supportive and everyone is willing to help eachother. The weekly meetings were great, the instructor was great and the price was great. I would recommend Nucamp. -

Python Bootcamp Review
I learned Python during my bootcamp at Nucamp. I think it was a great choice for me. The instructor was very kind. The course material is very ambitious for the amount of time provided. I have prior, professional development experience which really helped me. If you're entirely new to coding, it's going to be a wild ride, so get ready! -

When I started I did not know anything about software development. After taking Nucamp's Front-End course I realized I didn't learn as much as I should have. If you are looking for in depth big picture of why or how things work. This is not the boot camp for you. The material is cheap and boring with a voice that sounds very non excited to teach. I would highly recommend saving your money and teaching yourself on sites that are way more in depth and have way better material. I found myself learning on other sites and attending the Saturday workshops but paying literally just for an instructor and a class because the material was so cheap. It is bad when a boot camps website looks like a toddler designed it. If you are looking to learn I recommend Plural site, Front-end masters and Codecademy. Unless you want to pay top dollar for an instructor and classmates. Which you could just higher an instructor from Fiverr. Save your time and money. -

I selected Nucamp because it was the most affordable bootcamp I could find and it also got good reviews. -

Very worth the money
It was affordable and all the courses in the curriculum were exactly what I wanted to learn. After finishing the fullstack bootcamp I'd say that it was a good experience. Nucamp puts a lot of emphasis on completing personal projects which is very important when applying for jobs with no degree, and also I believe it's one of the best ways to learn the subject. -

This a very easy going course. I felt very comfortable in the pace we were going I definitely would recommend this to anyone that wants to get into coding for the first time. -

I chose to enroll in Nucamp because of all the positive reviews. I looked at other bootcamps but the price and what you get for it won me over. I love how it is 100% online and I love the community that you become a part of. This has so far been one of the best experiences for me and I would recommend this to anyone who is just learning or anyone who already has some skills in coding. This bootcamp helps all! -

Best bang for buck!
Pretty solid bootcamp on the fundamentals course which I had taken. Honestly the best bang for buck value out of any other bootcamp out there. You get the structure, peer/mentor review, access to the materials/lectures forever and an entire community who is willing to help. -

My experience with Nucamp so far has been excellent. The instructors are great and the content is awesome. It is a lot of information to take in but the community is always available if you need help or want to review what you have learned. -

I am a project manager at a web design company but I want to be a bigger part of the actual design and development process, I am leaning towards switching into web development instead of management. I took the Web Development Fundamentals course - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and learned a ton just in four weeks, I decided to stick with NuCamp since I enjoyed the first course so much and am now currently enrolled in the Front End Web and Mobile & Mobile Development. I have almost completed the last of 5 weeks of the Responsive with Bootstrap course and am already able to take an image of a website and make it web friendly (image of homepage coded to create a site)! I cannot wait for what the rest of the bootcamp teaches me! -

Nucamp is flexible and works for my learning style. The only two things I don't like are:
1) Some instructors are better than others.
2) The videos can be very dry and the voice over is not great..
I recommend suplementing this course with Angela Yu on Udemy (full stack web development) and go on Career Karma (an app) to talk to people in the industry if your instructor is unavailable.
But other than those two discrepencies I would say Nucamp is amazing. I would give it 4 stars. -

I started by learning how to code on my own but was having difficulty setting up my own structured path to becoming a developer. I searched many different boot camps but what ultimately led me to choose Nucamp was their affordability. I think their prices are very reasonable. I took their Web Fundamentals course to start off. I think they can improve their instructional videos by giving clearer examples of the material you are learning and by having someone one who is more energetic and less monotone narrate the course. You study throughout the week and meet virtually on Saturdays for about 4 hours with your actual instructor. I found the Saturday classes to be too short and the instructor seemed rushed to get through the course review. If they can instead take the classes to 6 hours I think that would help. They do provide plenty of external resources to help you find information including Slack which connects you with people who can help with any questions you have. One last thing was that their course felt way too fast paced but that may just have been me and also their Web Fundamentals course is only 1 month long. I think it would be better for the student if it was at least 2 months long (ideally 3 months). Overall I did enjoy the course and as long as you put in the effort everyday and commit to at least 3-4 hours of studying per day I think you should be fine. It's worth it. I will be taking their backend course next January 2022. -

Great Starting Experience!

Nucamp had a lot of great reviews, the schedule of the courses was a great fit for me. Although it was mentioned before starting the course it was a bit tough with Saturday meetings. If you have anything scheduled for Saturday mornings for 4 hours such as work or other commitments, then you need to find a workaround to be able to join the workshops. But other than that I'd definitely recommend Nucamp to anyone looking to join a bootcamp. The price is very doable compared to these other bootcamps if you're not willing to invest so much money, and yet I still feel that I received the same amount of instruction and knowledge as I would have at the more expensive bootcamps. This is self-paced with Saturday meetings/workshop with your cohert, which worked best since I have a full-time job. My instructor Gary was super outgoing, knowledgeable, and able to answer any questions we had during the week to help us with our assignments. Great bootcamp, will definitely be signing up for Front End Development next month! -

After weeks of research and deciding on starting a $20,000 bootcamp; I came across a youtube interview of Nucamp's founder on Don the Developer youtube channel. After watching the interview I became more intrigued with what NuCamp was offering. Once I saw the newly added Complete Software Engineering bootcamp path, for 11 months on a part-time schedule, I no longer could justify the $20,000 I was going to throw into an online bootcamp. I Just completed the Web Fundamentals portion of the Complete bootcamp, and I have not regretted my decision. -

I am thankful I was able to attend the Web Development (HTML, CSS & JavaScript) course. It was a good ingress point into fundamental understanding and have learned that coding will only scale where it is embedded in every facet of technology. My instructor also helped us navigate the unknowns during our workshops which really helped me dumb it down to better comprehend. -

When a friend told me about Nucamp, I searched it online and liked what it had to offer. I decided to enroll into the Web Development Fundamentals course. I was really impressed by all the information it gave me to get started. The instructor was very knowledgeable and engaging, which made me want to continue with the full-stack bootcamp course. I am happy with my decision to enroll, and I am looking forward to pursuing a career in software development. -

I'm in the process of a career change and had been reading review after review of bootcamps. I was becoming overwhelmed with it all when I stumbled upon Nucamp. I went to their website to read more about their values and goals for their students. The more I read, the more I found this was the bootcamp for me. Small class sizes, actual live sessions with the instructor, well laid out courses, and all at a price point that I could easily work into my budget.
I am extremely satisfied with my experience and education from Nucamp so far and look forward to the rest of my bootcamp journey. -

The price was the deciding factor on my enrolling in Nucamp. I was surprised in how much material we actually covered. I recommend Nucamp to everyone that is looking for some additional or initial training. This was hands down the best decision I have made for my career. -

Intro to Web Development
I have been wanting to learn to code for years and never thought I had the time to do it. This BootCamp was great because I could work, be with my family and spend my own free time learning how to code. I would HIGHLY recommend Nucamp to anyone out there that doesn't feel like they have it in them. Just do it! -

Worth the time
I wanted to get a base layer of knowledge before deciding whether or not coding could be a career possibility for me. It covered the basics in a rapid 4 week course and overall, it did what was promised. It's an intense amount of information and there's no lie that you need to study daily to retain it. I would take the course again, knowing what I know now. -

I signed up for Nucamp to get a feel of the pressure to tackle a project in front end development and it definitely was worth it. The material is very interactive and a-lot of explanation definitely helps you tackle the tip of the ice berg in this field . I work full time and was able to manage the material but i would say definitely put in 3 hours daily Monday- Friday and as much time as possible on the weekends to understand the syntax and material being taught.
Instructors for the most part are great and very helpful outside of the meeting times. -

Front-End Web Development Bootcamp
I started my web development journey back in 2018 and have been learning on and off since then. Still, when I saw Nucamp back in July, I saw an opportunity to have a more solid foundation while learning for the career I want alongside a community of people looking for the same career move as me. Since then, I have accomplished more than I ever have before, thanks to my classmates and instructors. -

I chose Nucamp because of it's bootcamp offerings, affordability, and good reviews. Though this is my first module in the Front End Development Bootcamp, I had a blast learning and collaborating with my instructor and classmates. During Week 4, my instructor had an issue and was not available for us Week 4 and Week 5 (the last two weeks of the 1st module), but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the coursework and module. As of right now, I was considering upgrading from the Front End Web Development to Nucamps Full Stack Web Development. The only reason I have not already upgraded is my experience with week 4 and Week 5 of my current module. With the instructor being out, Week 4 was not graded and I am not sure about Week 5. Other than this little hiccup, I highly recommend Nucamp to any interested individuals, new/old/self-taught. -

After much speculation and reviewing all sorts of options, courses, camps and packages, I chose Nucamp and am really happy I did. I've never done a proper camp before so I don't know what exactly to compare it to honestly, but I can say that I was surprised and excited by the structure and guidance in getting you set up and walking you through the materials every week.
There is a good amount of encouraging you to do a bunch of outside resource education and research (not required but a strong suggestion), which at first I was feeling lazy about and just wanted it all laid out for me in the lectures and material (that's what I paid for!), but then I remembered that's not how the tech world operates in real life and you have to do A LOT of self learning and research at any coding job, so really they're trying to train you at every step of the way to prepare you for having an actual role in a tech job, which I appreciate. Most jobs out there say they want competent self starters, and that begins at the foundation of your learning journey.
Highly recommend. It's affordable compared to most camps out there offering the same thing, and in conjunction with other programming courses and free material online it's the perfect tool in your kit to get you right for your future. That said, I should say something I learned is that no singular bootcamp or course is going to be your everything and one and only. Just like you don't go to college and take one crash course and expect a job immediately after, each additional skill you add is going to help you overall and you have to build. The problem is most of us have no clue where to even start, and that's where bootcamps come into play. It's invaluable. I personally know for a fact I would not be nearly as far in my learning path if I didn't do this- I've been trying for over a year to exclusively self-teach, you can only get so far without outside help, feedback and the know-how of what exactly you should be doing. Bootcamps ARE worth it, and this one is damn good. -

I'm really learning!
I compared a few online bootcamps and Nucamp genuinely had the best price by far. I was very new to the idea of coding and working with a class but it was very enjoyable. My instructor, Michael, really made sure we knew the course material and was very encouraging. Definitely recommend! -

Great place to start
nucamp is very well priced in the bootcamp arena. At the same time their instructors are very credible in the industry and have a passion for teaching, along with the patience needed for aspiring developers. The first segment provided much of the context that I've struggled to find on my own. Feel much more prepared to start on ML use cases soon.
