Nucamp has been a blessing in disguise’s. Great course work to prepare you for a potential role. I had an amazing instructor in Kayla Miller who I see as a mentor now. I also plan on pursuing full-stack going forward. -

I enrolled in Nucamp because I wanted to seek out a new career path, and Nucamp was the most affordable and available option I found while searching the web. Nucamp helped provide the right learning environment for me, giving me plenty of time to work a full-time job and still come out of this feeling like I learned everything I needed to. The content was thorough, and the instructor was definitely knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions. I really enjoyed my time with Nucamp. -

Looking for an affordable and flexible bootcamp led me to Nucamp. I was inspired by the instructor and my fellow peers in the group for their grit, perseverance, and creativity. With students being at different levels, we were paired well together to support one another with hands-on workshops. The coding challenges throughout the weekly content was engaging and helpful for practicing what we learn. I would high recommend this bootcamp, and this model of learning to friends and families. -

It was the right decision for me to enroll in the bootcamp so i can gain a new knowledge on a certain subject. The course was challenging and fun. The teacher that i had was fantastic. He did help a lot and the slack community was available to help answer questions. Overall my experience was great and i would highly recommend to anyone else looking for a change. -

Nucamp is a great course for anyone that is looking to learn coding from experienced professional, but may not have the time or income to commit to some of these other programs, especially ones that are more rigid in schedule and expensive. The pricing and convenience of working at my own pace allowed me to manage my work schedule while still being able to keep up with the information in the Web Development course. I also like that they have a community of students (current and past) and instructors that we can reach out to in order to receive help. I highly recommend Nucamp for these reasons! -

What made me enroll into Nucamp was because of TikTok, I came across this creator talking about different type of ways to learn coding. And when she started talking about a bootcamp called Nucamp, I thought this bootcamp seems like a good idea to know about and see if this was right for me. The decision of choosing this bootcamp was the right decision, it gave me structure and a community of people that want to learn together and help each other out. -

Web Fundamentals Review
i went into NuCamp with very little experience in html and css, but this course taught me greatly how to use html and css. Javascript is a whole other level of difficulty but dont let that scare you away from this. It was fun to see things come together when they worked. My instructor was nice and everyone was friendly -

This was a horrible decision that I made but now I have to complete because they have all my I totally regret this. The react course teaches you nothing at all there is no deep understanding of the core components I could not tell you anything or write a real world react app and I was one of the better students. There is no community at all. I thought this would help me connect and learn things I need but I do not see that at all. I see money spent. They need to focus on JavaScript and the advanced JavaScript. I work in tech as a Software Support and work with devs to fix a complex Saas Software. I do not see the focus to make you a real world dev at all.
They do a horrible job with your developer set up and the instructions are out of date. The bootstrap course is on 4 and they are on 5.2. I learned more React form React-The Complete Guide on udemy by Academind by Maximilian Schwarzmüller then i did in the course. The instructors are GOOD people VERY GOOD PEOPLE. This is not about the instructors this is about the courses and how bad they are and how the curriculum sucks.

Robert, we're really sorry that you feel that way about the bootcamp. We'd like to address some of the issues you have identified. The Bootstrap version we teach is 4.5. We have purposefully decided to not teach Bootstrap 5 because it is almost identical to Bootstrap 4.5 but removes JQuery. We believe students should learn about JQuery since it is still used by millions of websites and companies, even though it is an old library. It's also the precursor to all modern JavaScript frameworks and helps understand them better.
We have also recently upgraded the React and React Native courses to the latest versions. I understand that you got frustrated by the challenges created by React Native EXPO, and the difficulties associated with running mobile device emulation and debugging on it. The community and the instructors helped you resolve those issues, which was really great to see.
Finally, we really appreciate the call-out to our very talented and supportive instructor community.
We wish you the best in finishing the bootcamp, and hope to see you get a job as a developer like many of our alumni have already done. -

Nucamp has been extremely resourceful and all of the instructors that I have encountered have been immensely knowledgeable and dedicated to assisting all students. You will have to put in a lot of your own time learning and teaching yourself but do not be afraid to reach out to peers on slack! I learned my lesson after being a little too shy and embarrassed when not being able to complete some portions and got stuck behind the first time around, but the community is always there to help and they are very kind! -

Full Stack Development bootcamp
I enrolled in Nucamp because it had the program I was looking for (Full Stack developer bootcamp), it was part-time and reasonably priced. Now that I am in the program, I appreciate the small class size, highly knowledgable instructors who teach live each week, and the course materials. I highly recommend the bootcamp. -

I chose Nucamp because the price was way lower and the courses were shorter than any other bootcamp I could find that offers similar curricula AND because the reviews were pretty good. The only sort of negatives I could find in the reviews were that Nucamp is not the place for you if you aren't very driven, disciplined, or good at supplementing your education outside of class. I agree with this assessment.
A negative I have found is that it appears Nucamp may be an instructor factory in that many of their instructors were hired after completing Nucamp courses with no other experience in coding. This makes me question the integrity of the program, but my instructors at least have had legitimate experience in the field and have been very competent. -

I enrolled in Nucamp because I was looking for an affordable part time back-end bootcamp. It's perfect for someone who is still working at a full-time job. I really enjoy so far following the course. The content is good and the workshop (zoom call with other class students) at the end of the week makes a difference. Since it is part time, we have to spend a lof of time on our own researching. The content alone is not enough and we do need to learn from other sources. The support from the instructor is ok, they are available two times a week or more for the final week. The instructors are knowledgeable. It would be even better to have more time with them, either individually or with the class, but that's probably because it's part time only. After 5 weeks of learning, I definitely acquired a lof of knowledge I didn't have before, however it will take way more than that to be able to build something concrete. But the life of a programmer is all about practicing, learning and searching every day. I'm looking forward to that. -

I needed to transition from physically demanding work to work that relies on solving problems with my mind. I had taken online Python courses but never felt confident in my programming abilities. Then I saw an advertisement for a NuCamp boot camp. I was immediately intrigued so I checked out the reviews and decided to enroll.
I can honestly say this is one of the best decisions of my life.
Having access to instructors and class/coursemates is a huge benefit. My confidence level has greatly improved as I can now program like never before. If you're looking for a boot camp that actually cares about your success, then you need to look no further than NuCamp. -

The intro to Python course, which is one third of the backend bootcamp, was very inclusive; got a lot of great insight to move forward with the language in the future. Our instrucdtor was great, providing a general direction for future studies that far exceeded the course material alone. I am used to C based languages, but was a decade out of practice and had no experience with Python; so my expectations were a bit low. After the 5 weeks, I am now feeling very confident with the language, and though I still need a quite bit of work, I was able to integrate a great deal more than I thoguht was possible in the short amount of time. Especially surprising was the instructors ability to get us up on OOP practices and common coding conventions. These camps are largely what you put into them, but NuCamp offers a great deal for a very reasonable price!

Hello folks!
Long story short, I was an experienced laborer, hardwood floor installer, and just a hardworking guy. But one day it dawned on me that in 5 years my warehouse job will be taken over by robots and I'd be out of a job. So, instead of not heeding to the warning, I decided to take a risk, and make a move! It was very hard for me, and others, but I just remembered how hard hardwood flooring was, and I used that memory to channel my inner beast and perservere. It was worth it. I also remembered this saying, "good things don't come easy." Thanks so much NuCamp!

I decided to enroll at Nucamp because of the price and the reviews. I am totally new to coding. I've been a LVN for 11 years. Having to work through the pandemic made me realize that it was time for a career change. This introductory course into HTML,CSS, and Javascript was just what I needed to solidify my decision. It was a challenge but, a rewarding one. You truly are learning another language. I'll be starting the fullstack course soon and I can't wait to see where this path leads. If you are thinking about learning code, switching careers, or just want to try something new, then this is for you!
