One of the best training program for FAANG+ interviews!
The training course materials are awesome. Instructors are very knowledgeable. The problems assigned in the course are very challenging and interesting and very much aligned to the industry ask. The Thursday problem solving classes are very helpful. And finally the support staffs are very very helpful. I would highly recommend to take the IK courses for your next level of career uplevel. -

Backend Engineering Interview Course
The fundamental material they provide in their courses are exactly the same if you have gone through CS or related major. However on top of that they provide things university don’t teach, such as offer negotiations, effective ways to attract recruiters etc. And having mock interviews is also very helpful to track down what mistakes you have made in the past.

Comprehensive database of interview content

Great interview content. Its the one-stop-shop for every topic you need to know for an interview. Overwhelming content, but the content is neatly categorized as "foundational videos", "live classes & recordings" and "additional resources". Instructors are great and recorded classes available from other instructors as well. Specifically recommend it for content from Omkar Deshpande. I got good at recursion and dynamic programming, cause of Omkar's videos. -

I recently had the opportunity to enroll in Interview Kickstart's interview preparation program, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to enhance their technical interviewing skills and land top-tier job offers. From the moment I joined, the team at Interview Kickstart provided exceptional support and guidance. The instructors were not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply invested in the success of each student. Their expertise in technical concepts and interview strategies was invaluable. The curriculum was well-structured and comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics including data structures, algorithms, system design, and behavioral interview preparation. The program's emphasis on real-world problem-solving and hands-on practice helped me gain confidence and improve my problem-solving abilities. One aspect that truly sets Interview Kickstart apart is their interview practice sessions and mock interviews. The personalized feedback and constructive criticism I received during these sessions were instrumental in honing my interview skills. The mock interviews simulated real interview scenarios, preparing me for the challenging and dynamic nature of technical interviews. The support didn't end with the program completion. Interview Kickstart offers ongoing mentorship and alumni support, providing access to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and job search guidance. The community of fellow learners and alumni is incredibly supportive and motivating. Overall, my experience with Interview Kickstart exceeded my expectations. Thanks to their comprehensive curriculum, dedicated instructors, and tailored guidance, I felt well-prepared and confident in my technical interviews. If you're serious about advancing your technical interviewing skills and achieving career growth, I highly recommend Interview Kickstart. Their program is worth every penny and will undoubtedly propel you towards interview success. -

Worked out really well in the end…
Joined IK to join AWS as SA but ended up joining a big Financial Services company with comparable pay.
The support they have given during offer negotiation process is super valuable and the results show the course has paid for itself.
Although I didn’t crack AWS, FAANG is not the only game in town. -

I joined IK and took the level up program. The Course Materials, Instructors and the support team is top notch. The course is well designed for a working professional. Attending seminars, classes and coaching I had always learned something new (new approach to solve a problem, alternate designs). Prior joining IK I was giving loop interviews but was not getting an offer. After joining IK within 4 months I was able to get 3 FT offers. Overall very efficient and resourceful. -

I had a great experience with Interview Kickstart. I was one of the early students that used this program. Prior to this program, I was finding it problematic to solve algorithms quickly. Here I learned speed. Don't expect to see magic, you will need to do a lot of practice and IK will provide the structure and support for it. While I learned a lot of things in the program, dynamic programming, and string classes are my favorite. Thank you, IK for offering such a valuable course! -

If you feel outdated and want to kickstart your learning about current trends, then this program is for you. The foundation material and live classes are extremely well thought and taught, the XpertConnect feature lets you schedule adhoc session everyday to clarify your doubts with experienced instructors. The mock interviews are a real game changer, it helps you gain confidence and shed anxiety, prepares you well for the real interviews. The behavioral module available lets you prepare responses well ahead and is reviews by career advocates, which makes you worry less about the behavioral rounds.

Comprehensive Support for Interview Prep

Interviewing has always been difficult for me as I always had this feeling of anxiety. My confidence was really low and I always thought to myself that there should be some structured way of preparing for interviews and that's where I came across IK. IK has put together different aspects of interviewing in a well-defined prep-plan starting with coding, system design and career counseling. The modules follow the structured approach for instance in coding, its starts with foundational videos, live class and then a practice problem set that really helps to understand the topic in depth and gain that inner confidence of facing the interviews for that particular topic. The relevant technical books available are theoretical and doesn't really prepare you for interviewing. At IK, they take you through a problem-solving mode that is really required for you to crack interviews and they do it in a very structured pattern. This program has really helped me push my confidence and face interviews specifically given a problem thinking through it organically and coming up with the best approach that is interview acceptable. Kudos to the methodology designed at IK. -

Intense, effective and efficient.
The Foundation material, live classes, assignments, curated material, and practical problems gave me the scope and direction I needed. It is an excellent use of time. To be effective and efficient, combine IK assistance with your own hard work. Practice, practice, and practice some more. Best wishes. That's all there is to it. -

This is one of the best interview prep programs out there. They have live classes for each topic and recordings of previous sessions so you get multiple instructors on the same topic.
They also have tutors available through out the week including evenings and weekends to help with your coding assignments.
The mock interviews are very similar to an actual interview process. After your interview, you get a thorough feedback on what you did well and areas of improvement and a score.
Overall, I think it is a great investment as you get a lifetime access to the course material and can be used for future interview prep. -

Interview Kickstart has a comprehensive program to help you prepare for interviews. The data structures and algorithms sections are excellent and very well structured, with specific emphasis on patterns to simplify the process of approaching new problems. System design program has a wealth of information and tips to prepare, although with a few growing pains as new instructors and materials are added. Operations team is responsive and helpful to address questions and concerns. I look forward to trying the mock interviews and career assistance as well.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

Best Investment for My Career!

I was hesitant at first because of the price but after watching Omkar's sample vid on one of job portals and attending the initial orientation, I got sold. I couldn't be happier. IK is very different from other crowd-sourced and do-it-yourself sites. The lessons and guidance are very comprehensive yet presented in a way that non-CS and less experienced folks like me can understand easily. It also has an extensive human element on it - you talk and interact with people in the industry for advice and strategy! It's like having a team behind you which objective is nothing but your success. If you are stuck and need expert help, it's an email away. The bonus is that the materials which you will own can be referenced for your production work too (I just did! ;). This is probably the best investment for my career. Ik is a great program for someone who wants to fill the gap in their technical skills or crack those difficult coding and system design interviews. If you are ready to put in the hard work, you are only a few months away from your dream job.
Pros:The support team is very understanding and supportive for extending or pausing the course when needed. This helped me a lot. Thanks IK!
Cons:I wished there was a group study feature with other students so that you are not always trying hard to push yourself through any topics you have a hard time with. It might help with interactive study and hence discussions with other students.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

I am currently a student at @IK, and so far my experience with IK is excellent in terms of instructors, foundational materials, and support. I believe the curriculum is really good thanks to Omkar Deshpande. It is also a good platform to meet good techies from top-tier companies and learn from them, and connect with them, which is one of the best parts for me. Most of the instructors stay for some more time after their classes to answer additional questions students may have technical and no technical which I appreciate. The turnaround time of the support team is quite good in terms of scheduling classes/ other career coaching sessions for you or sharing pre-recorded videos from the past. I am also getting support from my student success associate Megha Tyagi and Career Transformation Manager Priya Lucas, Both of them connect with me to check my progress and provide their suggestions to improve. Whenever I have any concerns and need any help they immediately connect with me on my request. Overall, I feel good about my decision to join the Interview Kickstart program.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

I found the Backend Engineering program at Interview Kickstart to be very helpful in my interview preparation journey. Although it comes with a hefty initial price tag, it pays for itself if you stick with it. If you can afford it, and are looking to improve your interviewing skills in an efficient way, I highly recommend it. I did try other methods of studying for software engineering interviews(Udemy courses, youtube videos, Educative courses, SWE books) but IK worked out best for me as I found all the relevant content on a single platform. Mock interviews are very similar to real life SWE interviews and also provide in-depth feedback at the end. Training videos and classes discuss each topic in detail and are accessible forever. I also used their help with salary negotiation and they were very helpful in helping me come to a decision about my offers. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend it.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

This course was really well made, and really helped me understand pattern recognition and how to approach problems when solving them. This is something I was not getting on leetcode at all, and I would end up memorizing more than understanding. It really felt like I hit that light bulb moment of suddenly understanding how the complex topics work, and that got me excited and motivated to keep solving problems on my own. Big shoutout to all the instructors (especially Omkar!) who really help you build a solid base in terms of understanding how to solve these technical interview problems. And overall, this course provides that curriculum that is much needed to help keep you focused and engaged in your interview prep. I also love how there's so many resources beyond just the technical interview questions, in terms of your career overall (e.g resume help, offer negotiation help, behavioral interview help, career coaching, mock interviews, etc.). The IK team has also helped me resolve any issues I have promptly, and is very understanding and friendly, which is really nice. Overall, a great course, with a great team, and plenty of resources!Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

It's been 16 years since I finished college. InteviewKickstart really helped me refresh my Advanced DSA knowledge and understand newer concepts that are more relevant for cracking FAANG interviews. The program is very well structured for freshers as well as experienced ones. Within 6 months I was able to get a good grasp on DSA, system design and domain-specific topics. Live classes from experts in the field are very informative and interactive. The assessment reviews classes that happen every Thursday help us review the weekly assessment with the experts. Apart from DSA and system design coursework, they also conducted mock interview, resume preparation, behavioral prep, offer negotiations sessions. The biggest advantage is the mock interviews that actually give you detailed and helpful feedback that you wouldn't get from live interviews. Over all, I am very satisfied with my experience with InterviewKickstart. I would definitely recommend this course work to my friends and colleagues.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

They course starts from the basics that are needed for most interviews. On algorithms and data structures it is very comprehensive, there are additional videos on advanced algorithms that when you learn you should even feel confident solving hard leetcode problems. You do need to invest a lot of time.
Many mock interviews available which is very important. Even if you can solve codes on your own quickly, interview is a totally different thing that you need to practice for.
System design syllabus is also great. There I had to learn also from other sources but IK gives you the starting point and shows you the path.
Coaches and staff are very supportive and helpful.
Once again, you have to be committed and spend a lot of time, you may also need to study from other free sources like YouTube, but after that you should be confident passing interviews and gained a lot of knowledge.

IK is still growing in a few parts and is already very strong in a few courses. So be mindful before picking the courses.
The course content is good but to get the best out of it, first know your goals(Jobs you are targeting) and then map them to the courses. For example, I underwent a few pain points with the course content, mapped them to my desired jobs in the market, and observed a gap in course content. Still, I needed to catch up by then as I had already joined the program, and Aashi came in and changed the game through her support in working out a plan I drafted and making it work. But, of course, the management is also equally open and understanding.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

I was apprehensive to join the course based on some of information I had previously. I explored couple of competitors. I have been planning to take the course for last couple of years and I regret that I waited this long to plunge in. IK has extremely well streamlined process right from onboarding to support period. Instructors are top notch, highly qualified and support staff is amazing. Everyone has your best interest in mind. If you are willing to put effort, it is hard work, you will gain key skills and will be prepared well for interview at Tier 1 companies. If your goal is to learn skills for interview, dont wait. Even if you are not planning to interview, I still recommend the course to gain some valuable skills for your current job.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart

Excellent Program!
Read more Read less of Anonymous's review
I entered Interview Kickstart in January 2022.
I had tried to tackle leetcode and system design on my own but it was
difficult because there is such a wide breadth of knowledge that you
have to know.
The best part of IK is that they structure everything out for you so you
don't have to worry about planning everything, half the struggle of
studying for big tech is just mapping out what to learn and in what order
but since IK did that all for me, I was able to focus on the most
important part which was just learning and doing problems.
I think the system design part was also great because if you have
no real experience in architecture (like me) it is hard to grasp some
of the concepts.
There is no real substitute for it on other platforms
like YouTube which tend to focus on the Leetcode style problems more.
System design content tends to be relatively sparse, so the resources on
IK regarding it were kind of priceless for me.
I found Omkar's videos in particular very helpful. I think he has a great
way of explaining concepts as if you have never approached them before.
And lastly when it came to apply, IK had this really convenient way
to track what you were applying to. It was daunting to try and do it
on my own, but the system they have makes it much easier.
Overall I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend it to
anyone trying to get into FAANG/Unicorn as a Software Engineer.Student Success Advocate of Interview Kickstart
