I enrolled in this program to prepare for technical interviews and found the curriculum and content to be excellent. I chose the self-paced option, which offered flexibility and a solid foundation for interview prep.The team was also responsive and helpful when I had questions about the program itself, which I really appreciated.That said, I believe the anticipated schedule for the self-paced track could be more clearly defined to help with planning and pacing. I also noticed that each course includes multiple videos labeled as "alternative videos," but it's unclear what differentiates them or why they're included—some clarification would be helpful.Since I'm in the self-paced program, I don't have direct access to instructors to ask questions. However, I imagine that kind of support would be beneficial for those in the regular, instructor-led program. -

I had enrolled for Data Engineering course with IK. It provided foundational skills like system design, DSA, and SQL. The good thing about the course is, it has crisp hands-on assignments with designing scalable data pipelines. This helped me to design scalable data systems in time bound manner.
Also, it was great connecting with tech industry experts and mentors in DE field, my confidence in tackling challenging projects and making me stand out during interviews. -

IK provides a nice, structured way to prepare for interviews, the content and coaches are excellent. The coaches are excellent and making mock interview session realistic and the feedbacks are very relevant. I am immensely improved to prepare for the interview. I would also like to appreciate the support staff helping the students instantly. Mock interviews helped me get better and the problem sets alleviated the need for me to source problems externally. If you want to prepare for FAANG interviews, this course is very helpful. -

IK offers a great program helping candidates prepare for the toughest interviews. I've participated in the LevelUp program, which offers data structure, system design, and machine learning. the data structure courses offered by Omkar are the best. he explains complex materials very clearly so that they can be understandable by general audience as well. You can check IK youtube for some examples of Omkar's videos. The problems that they provide after each course are also top notch, helping candidates prepare for the most common questions for the interviews. Mock interviews are another valuable part of the program that allow you to get 1:1 feedback with real FANG employees and hiring managers. They also offer resume reviews, weekly practice sessions, and a very active Discord group for connecting with other fellows. I also want to warn people that this program is intensive for the first couple of months. You need to spend 5-6 hrs every week on the course materials, classes are on Sundays which requure you to prepare on Saturdays too. but totally worth it. -

The IK course has amazing instructors who are amazing at what they do. The concepts taught and the practice problems to reinforce them have helped me develop the skills needed for the toughest tech interviews. The mock interviews are extremely helpful for preparing for both the technical and behavioral interviews for the top tech companies out there. If you need a course for interview preparation, this should be at the top of your list. I highly recommend IK to anyone for interview preparation. -

I've tried few other interview prep courses in the past, but failed to crack the tech interviews at FAANG+ companies, before deciding to enroll at IK. So I enrolled in Engg. manager fast track program, as it is a self paced program that aligns with my work schedule, and I must say that although the entire course work is not cheap, it's quality is top notch, along with exceptional support from the operations team who have gone above and beyond for me many times. Moreover, the invaluable tips and advice on crafting a compelling resume that highlights my experience in a way that aligns with skills, helps me present my best self to prospective employers. All this combined with mock interviews, leadership sessions has been very helpful in my preparation. -

I have taken courses at IK mainly to brush up my DSA and system design interview skills. They have a very comprehensive schedule and really experienced teachers. At first when I started the program, I was very unimpressed because, as some one coming from a CS background, most of the courses are already within my knowledge which, aren’t very good use of my time. However, what’s really valuable about this course is the support team. The mock interviews, and coaches providing tips to secure recruiters attention are something I could not have learned from academic experience only. Also to mention the coaches are all workers already working in FAANG companies, and the resource they provided are really useful to me personally on the career path. -

Its like a gate pass to clear your favorite company's interview.
The practice problems and mock interviews help a lot for thorough preparation, also unlimited technical coaching and career coaching sessions helped me a lot to clear all my queries.
The curriculum is great and also the instructors are very good, every topic is taught in depth in live sessions.
The operations team is very helpful in resolving any queries in a short period of time. -

Best Course of any up-levelling/up-skilling
IK is the best up-levelling and up-skilling course I know. The coaches/instructors are the USP and on top of that they best in class support staff who not only understands the technical needs of the the learners but also do the due diligence and would go to any mile to support.
Their content is excellent, support is world class and they are not supporters but enablers. -

IK is a no nonsense course for the serious student who needs help with interview prep. The model is to get professionals to teach IK curriculum.
Upside is that you get practitioners teaching it and that comes with a downside of them not being great teachers but very good at their subject nonetheless
The curriculum is thorough and focused. You will find that not many offer such pointed curriculum technically.
The best part is mocks and mentoring support that you can book and speak with other professionals and get confident. It solves those aspects where you do not know who to ask those specific things that are unique to your context and understanding. I wish IK advertised and promoted this more.
IK ops is another delightful experience where these folks go above and beyond to make your learning journey fruitful.
There is no one however who takes end to end control over your journey and it’s a self serve buffet. Trainers change every topic so you don’t form any relationship with them. It makes you feel a bit lost at times. This manifests as dissatisfaction in many.
Overall if you are serious, sincere, consistent and clear of what you want, Ik can do wonders for you. If you need someone to speak with you regularly to motivate you and keep reaffirming that you are on the right track, I suggest you find that elsewhere. IK means business. :)
I wish IK took a human centered design approach and added human element to address phycological needs of the learner and address his insecurities to calm their nerves. I also wish they make it simpler to get career support. This wud make an otherwise very sharp program very human friendly. -

Regular mock interviews play a pivotal role in honing our skills and polishing our weak areas before taking actual interviews. This also helps in boosting confidence and mock interviews are really helpful.

Even though I am having a decade of years of software development experience, I felt that I was not ready to interview with MAANG+ companies.
This is because the interview process has changed so much recently including live coding rounds and system design rounds. Though I had basic data structure and algorithm knowledge, it wasn't good enough to solve LeetCode, Hackerrank or competitive programming problems.
I was a part of Backend Engineering program at Interview Kickstart and I would like to thank IK for delivering In depth study materials, test series related to fundamental and advanced DS and Algo topics along with System design topics. The curriculum is well structured and I have enjoyed and learned a lot by going through offline contents, live classes and time based test series. There is also great support from IK through Technical coaching and career coaching. The best thing I liked is giving mock interviews. It helped me to gain confidence in giving interviews with top product based companies. -

I started Interview Kickstart in August 2023 cohort, and I paid $4000 for the course. There is a lot of content, and the amount is very overwhelming. In order to be ready for the live classes, they encourage you to complete each (5) weeks pre-course work by watching videos, taking quizes, and solving practices problems. It took an entire day to complete each weeks pre-course work. I was rushed to complete each weeks pre-coursework. How much can you learn, if you’re being rushed?
Week one was fine, we have all seen sorting algorithms. I even had most of those algorithms already. After the second week, everything went downhill. I could not have completed, and I did not complete a single algorithm on my own. I am totally dependent on CHATGPT. I could not have done this course without CHATGPT. The AI is not perfect. I had to manage it a little, but then I figured out if I cut and paste the entire question, I could get the solution. I also wrote a jailbreak, so it would give clearer and cleaner solutions.
After five weeks, I am not able to solve a single algorithm on my own. The live classes consist of endless puedo-code, and they do not solve a single algorithm in the class. You will only see peudo-code. It is mind dumbing. The live classes take place on Sunday, and they last about 5 or 6 hours.
I did not enjoy the live classes.
After the five week course, they also do mock interview, resumes, 1 on 1 assistance, etc… I cannot solve anything. I don’t want to participate in anything else when I cannot solve anything. What good is a mock interview?
I am not satisfied with the course. The do have instructors who work at well know companies, and this does not make them good teachers. If a 12 year old kid can teach me algorithms, I would pay him $4000.
Currently, I started with Zero to Mastery, and this is exactly what I wanted. They break everything down much better, and I am seeing and hearing things I have not seen or heard.
I suggest you sign up with Zero to Mastery, and it’s only $42/month. They also have lifetime and annual options.

All the sunday classes are going over 6+ hours and rushing it complete. Some of the concepts covered are difficult to digest and definitely needs more time, when we brought that with support, we got response that "We are working on it" that's it. Not covering all the basic concepts to understand the topic well. They just cover what is needed at bare minimum. 140+ slides to be covered in 4 hrs with over 95 students makes it wague and boring.
The ability to explain to someone with no knowledge on the subject is an art. BEING a teacher and WORKING as a teacher are two extremely different aspects. Pretty sure most of the instructors are PHD's earning half a million/year. But the same concepts I can understand effectively from my favourite teacher in youtube free videos.
This course is supposedly designed for people with no experience but it is not true, cheap marketing! Why would they put 95+ students in 1 class. Very difficult to follow and wasted my money. Quantity over quality. -

Ik class is well structured
I took the ML specialization course. It was well structured, what helped me the most were the technical coaching sessions where I could get help with regards to coding questions and mock interviews helped me a lot as well. For ML system design, would have liked review of more questions.

This course provided me with structured learning for interview preparation. It has all the ingredients that were missing when I was preparing for the interview on my own. First of all, the course material is extensive yet focused on interview preparation, and the teachers are very skilled and patient. Mock interviews provide crucial feedback during the coursework. My only word of caution is that this is not a magical solution, and this course requires a serious and consistent time commitment. I benefited from this course once, so I am retaking it to up-leve my career again
