I wanted to make the most of the lockdown and took a suggestion from my brother to get into coding. After some self teaching I stumbled onto DigitalCrafts. To be honest I never thought it would be so informative and impactful. The teachers were always available and strived to make sure we continued to grow. After recently graduating I feel doors are opening left and right. I went from barely being able to read Javascript to building a full react website in a day. I highly suggest this course. I truly feel I learned two years worth of info in a little over 6 months. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself, the end goal really made this all worth it. Read less

My teachers were amazing and worked well as a team. Both had different teaching styles that complimented each other and also offered different aspects of the curriculum to the students. It was hard. It was alot to absorb, especially during a pandemic/election year. Also being one of the first fully online classes due to the pandemic, there were some bugs that needed to be worked out. DigitalCrafts' curriculum covers the tech stack that companies are searching for and the professors are great! Thoroughly enjoyed the 26 weeks and honestly I am missing spending my Saturday's with the DC crew. It is a lot of work, but is still doable with a full time job. I recently graduated from the DigitalCraft Full Stack immersive program. Overall, I found it to be a great experience, and I learned so much in a short time. Our instructor, Azam, was exceptional and our DIR, Nathan, always went above and beyond to help us. Each day we reviewed the previous day’s work, had a lecture on a new topic, and then had the afternoon to complete the course work. I appreciated that for each assignment, we were offered a “hard version” so that if we finished our work before the end of class, we could challenge ourselves to learn even more.  During the course, we completed four projects for our portfolio and worked with the career services team to craft a resume, online portfolio, and social media presence highlighting our past accomplishments as well as our new tech skills. I greatly appreciate Angela spending time with us all one on one to help us create a personalized approach to job hunting and helping me update my resume even after the class was done.   As I took the course remotely and don’t live in Atlanta or Houston, where DC has an large employer network, I was a little concerned about the actual job hunt. However, they do share remote job opportunities with graduates, and in the few weeks since the program ended, I have been able to set up several interviews for both remote and local jobs. Read less

Digitalcrafts is the way to go. Before coming to digital crafts like lots of others I tried to go the self taught route. The problem was that there was so much to learn and so many different people teaching. They problem way that I was stuck watching people talk about different skills and I could copy them but I could never understand anything, it never just clicked. Then I found Digitalcrafts and it all changed. With the help of my amazing instructor Lachlan and my dirs I was able to start grasping concepts, they say you have to code in order to understand and that’s exactly what we did and it didn’t feel like a tutorial the whole time as soon as we learned something we implemented it. This is what allowed my to go from a little code to actually understanding how web apps work and understanding what my role would be at a company. I looked at a lot of bootcamps and I know that DC isn’t the cheapest but it’s worth every penny. Unfortunately because of this years events we had to go remote, but DC pulled it off and there was no fall off in terms of education Quality, so if that’s your concern don’t be concern DC has lots of great instructor and great admin staff all ready to help at the drop of a dime. I completed the 16 week Full Stack Immersive online course due to COVID-19 and had a good experience. My instructor was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. The school is good, but I recommend it only if you already have a good experience in programming. I had none and a lot of the time I felt I was lagging behind. If you have at least a little experience, you will enjoy the course in a better way. Read less

Having some SQL and data analytics knowledge from my grad school, it was a nice hands-on experience to practically apply the queries to pull and modify data to the desired format. Joining tables to create a master table directly from the database will help save a lot of time as well. In addition to this the data visualization techniques using PowerBI will help improve presentations to our customers as well. Overall a great effort by DigitalCrafts and looking forward to more training sessions with them!  Read less

This 4 day class taught the basics of SQL and Power BI with a mix of theory and real world examples. I feel well-equipped to access the data I need and create useful outputs in Power BI. DigitalCrafts did a good job creating customized curriculum for my business and accommodating people in the training who learned at different speeds.  Read less

The SQL training class that DigitalCrafts provided to us is the best training experience I had.  The special thing is that this company built the content of the class really based on our specific needs (data source, what query we need to have our desired outputs, etc). This is making our training useful for our work. I can immediately use what I learned from the training in my work! and the instructor is very well-prepared and very knowledgeable. This is class was an excellent introduction to SQL. The instructor was good at communicating the concepts and working through the curriculum at an appropriate pace for those learning SQL for the first time.  Also, the course was tailored to our company and which made the class exercises relatable to the type of analysis that our group performs and the ways in which we can apply our new knowledge.   Read less

Overall, I had a positive experience with DigitalCrafts. The main thing I try remember when reflecting on my experience is how I literally knew nothing getting started compared to now where I feel confident in my skills to build something and figure out how to work through challenges. Sometimes I wish the curriculum was more focused, but i was part of the early cohort during Covid that went online. So, I think there was a bit of a transition there for how the instructors normally taught.  Read less

I enjoyed taking this course. I only knew what SQL was but never used it. And this course helped me use SQL to analyze data. Here is the list of things I liked about this course:
-the instructor is very knowledgeable  about the material
-it started with a good basic intro which helped me set up a good foundation.
-Good flow of course without wasting time 
-Covered a lot of material in a short period of time
-Helped individually so we all understood it properly
-provided notes, exercises and class recording so we could revise on our own
At the end of the course  I am able to write simple to complex queries  in SQL, understand it, and execute.  Read less
