Course chapters are split into a series of short videos, which explain new concepts well, followed by guided exercises. The exercises are pitched at the right level to ensure you have understood the videos.
The course instructors are articulate and knowlegable. Some of them are university lecturers or the authors of the packages being explained.
There are a large number of courses, covering a good variety of skills.

It is very well organised platform to learn data science proper way. I used it to learn python for data science and data science as a new thing as well. I recommend it as a way to learn fast tips and tricks of this field but it is not enough if you want to become real expert. It doesn't cover every aspect. -

Overall, my experience with the bootcamp has been very good. The course provided a structured learning environment and helped me strengthen my technical and practical skills. I’ve always wanted to take courses on DataCamp, and after completing some of the SQL courses, I found them very helpful and interesting. The instructors are great, and my favorite part is that we get to practice after every section it really helps reinforce what we learn.So far, it’s been a great experience overall. I just have one small comment: in the Data Manipulation in SQL course, the section about window functions wasn’t explained in much detail, so I had to look it up on YouTube to understand it better. However, when I started the PostgreSQL Summary Stats and Window Functions course, I found many of the missing details that helped clarify everything.It was a bit frustrating at first, but I really appreciate that the later course covered those concepts more thoroughly. For each curriculum, there should be an accompanying ebook. For example, for Exploratory Data Analysis, a PDF could be attached to the course/curriculum that captures all the key points of the lecture. This would be especially useful for those who may struggle with foreign accents. While transcripts are helpful, ebooks would play an even greater role.
If you permit me, I’d be happy to compile everything I've learned into a structured and standardized text format. Additionally, I think DataCamp should consider offering Data Science courses in other languages. Many Africans overestimate their ability to fully grasp content in foreign languages, compared to native speakers. Take the word ‘unique,’ for example; it may not carry the same nuance for many Africans as it does for Americans.

This is my first time here no certification completed. I was unable to complete course track Data Engineer during scholarship time line because my mobile phone was stolen. After am able to purchase another mobile phone my time line scholarship had expired on April 1st, 2023.
From April 2023 too my elder sister took me out of Lagos to a rehabilitation center in Ile-ife and released me from rehabilitation center December 2023.
I started my Masters of Science Theoretical Physics this 2024, at Delta State University Abraka, Nigeria.

At a certain point in my life, I needed a change, and perhaps it was a trend, but definitely something interesting, and I decided to become a programmer. The first choice was between Java and Python, then whether to focus on apps or data. I started with a 7-month bootcamp as a Python developer, then I purchased two more advanced bootcamps: one on analysis and visualization with Python, and another on big data fundamentals with PySpark. While learning, I landed my first job as an intern. As a lover of data frames and tempted by a YouTube ad featuring a guy by a pool, I clicked on DataCamp and signed up. It dawned on me that the two-month-long professional bootcamps I had paid a hefty price for were thoroughly covered and presented on DataCamp for about $15 a month, and there's a multitude of such topics available. Thus began my adventure with DataCamp, which has lasted for over 2.5 years. I've been following paths, returning to necessary knowledge in relation to projects, and progressing at my own pace and convenience, which makes DataCamp an endlessly great bootcamp for me. When it comes to the range of data taught there, it covers everything up to the advanced level, which is awesome. -

I normally do not write reviews, but I'm so happy that I chose DataCamp that I feel this is the bare minimum that their team deserves.
After researching various websites and courses, I ended up choosing DataCamp to learn Python due to its comprehensive curriculum, exercises, projects available, and video approach to learning (I'm a visual learner). I had absolutely no knowledge when I first started (literally, I was starting from zero!), and I can't praise them enough. I ended up completing the 100 days of code challenge on their platform, and even though I still feel that I have a lot to learn, I must recognize that I've learned a LOT over the last few months. Honestly, I don't know what else they can improve on the platform.

The DataCamp platform provide a well design infrastructure to learn especially about data related tools and concepts.
Learning concept is based on short lectures, which around 3-5 minutes, and a few practice on the given brief. Each course involve sub divisions that grouped by relevance and they sorted in proper order. The subdivisions start with a short brief and then reinforcing practices are presented to improve learning. The practices include interactive feedback to users in case of wrong or missing answers, which is very effective way to emphasis and improve the missed part of the given lecture.
In addition to the individual courses, there are also skill and carrier tracks which are composed of several related courses, projects, practices and short exams. Practices and mini projects inside the platform allows users to refresh their knowledge and test themself. To sum up, the platform is building up in a extremely motivating way to learn.
The web interface is easy to use designed for user while the front-end design, fonts, colors and graphics is also harmonious and beautiful.
There are some minor deficiencies in the platform. For example, some feedback in the course might be misleading or irrelevant. Lastly, job matching part of the platform should be improved, there are limited number of position to apply.
Let look at the DataCamp and get start to learn and enjoy.

At Windesheim University of applied sciences we have been using Datacamp for our minor data science. It has been a great succes. Students can work on their own to get acquianted with certain topics. What is especially nice is the GUI for submitting your programming answers. Making it an interactive online programming interface, datacamp has really made it very easy to get started in for example Python. Overal this has flattened the learning curve significantly. In addition, the quality of the lectures is excellent. -

I have completed a career track on data camp and I keep going back to take their courses, exercises and use the free cloud workspace.- The courses are great because they make the concepts easy to understand as you move from watching a video about it to immediately testing your understanding through guided exercises.
- Then there are workout exercises that you can take unlimited times, that rapidly run you through the concepts of a specific course.
- There are Weekly assessments to test your knowledge on different topics that make up a specific data skill.
- I also use the workspace with free database integrations to work on projects that I keep as my portfolio...
- I also get email alerts for job openings that I can apply for...
- I got a chance to compete in some of their many competitions which I always look out for, won some cash prizes...
