Hello ,
I have been a student of DSDJ for the past one month. Initially i was skeptical on how this course can help transition to a field that requires lot of preparation and knowledge.
DSDJ fill the gap not only on the skills / knowledge needed but also on the psychological side of things - like creating a workable strategy, visualization for success, having a right mindset etc. They also have live mentor sessions many times a week where students can leverage working with mentors.
Overall, i felt that this is a very good investment. -

This team is very organized and educated when it comes to the point curriculum for landing a job into the field of data science.Mentors often conduct office hours to solve doubts of students which is rarely seen in any courses. Some prominent aspects of this course are resume and LinkedIn review, take-home assignments, mock interviews, and technical workshops.Overall, I would advise everyone out there who wants to achieve data science to invest in this course. No background or experience needed with DSDJ. -

Data Science Dream Job is a fantastic resource when looking to enter the exciting field of Data Science. The curriculum starts with getting your mind in the right mindset for future success. I cannot tell you how invaluable this is as you progress through the course. There are many modules in the course that are relevant and answer burning questions when going through the job interview process. Everything from resume writing, contacting hiring managers, followup, interview preparation. I found the course to be excellent quality, and not something that was just thrown together. You get insights as to what it takes to break through the door and finally get that job you *really* want. There are also many resources to connect with other data scientists like a slack channel, mentor calls, job postings, everything you need to be successful. I *HIGHLY* recommend this program if you are looking to break into the field or change careers. -

I really love the resources and the order established to follow the program. Everything is very well organized and they tell you exactly what to study and in what order. Besides the must-have skills, there are great books suggested to help you start having the attitude and discipline of the person you want to be. As one of those books says: "You don´t find your passion. You choose it and develop it" and DSDJ is a great course to develop it. -

While it's not a bootcamp per se, I would still recommend this 100% to anyone looking to break in to data science. The focus of the program is to give you the best roadmap in your journey so you don't waste time going down one rabbit hole after another. The career advice, tips, feedback, live sessions, etc., Are all top notch, and it comes with a money back guarantee so if after following all the steps diligently you are unable to get a job in the field of data science, you'll have lost only time. -

This course is very inspiring for those who wants to crack into a ds related job. It’s more about how to get yourself prepared, from mindset to skills to every detail of job seeking. If you expect to learn data science from scratch, this is not the one. Rather they will point out which resource to follow to save your time googling and testing. The mentoring support is amazing. At least 3 times a week there are office hours for questions. Kyle’s mentoring hours are very useful and updated. And slack channel, you will find a community of aspiring data scientists sharing their resume and experiences in interviews, discussions about technical topics......I highly recommend DSDJ to those who set data scientists as their dream job. -

This course not only provides technical skill sets for preparing Data scientist but also help job-seeker of data scientist/analyst understanding and guiding the job-seeking practice/culture and rudimentary manners!
In addition to a bunch of skill sets, this program provides real-interview with right people in the right place of data scientist as well as recruiter. Those all things really help a lot especially for people who have never experienced what is going on the industry and its job process.

I have been through a bootcamp about a year ago but I still could not land a data scientist job. So, I decided to join dream job to help me and I am learning so much. Learning more about the data science approach, techniques needed and just helping me gain a better understanding of data science. I have not completed the whole course yet but I am about 80% through the curriculum and i can see that it is worth the money. You won’t regret joining the team with all the people that wants to help and gaining the necessary knowledge to become a data scientist. -

It’s anything but great learning experience with DSDJ program. The mentors are always helpful and there is so much help from DSDJ community on Slack. The way whole program structured is incredible, I have been learning more from this program than I have learnt from masters degree or any other online course. Yes the program is overwhelming but trust me it’s worth it, I will take a step further and say this, “it will be the best decision you will ever make“. It’s way better than spending countless hours and hefty fees on degrees/online courses which only give certificate and limited exposure. I would highly recommend this program! -

I was in the process of a career change, and was trying to figure all of the details out for myself, without really knowing what details I needed, when I discovered the Data Science Dream Job program. The curriculum had everything in place that I was looking for, like a detailed learning program that taught you the most relevant skills you need to know. It also has what many programs I've done in the past have lacked, true mentors, from people in the industry that have made the same journey I was on. Job assistance was another crucial component in signing up, and they help you with everything from perfecting your resume, to interviewing, to even salary negotiations. Each new section I get to reinvigorates me towards my end goal, but am very happy with my decision to enroll in this program. -

I am following Data Scientist since very long time on Linkedin. I have come across many posts and many people with unique perspective for the Data Science. But what Kyle and team has put together is just out of this world. They don't teach a course like the one you will get in normal school. This is methodology to get success in any field you want. They took a very systematic approach to teach you to become independent learner. I enjoy learning their modules and they always keep you motivated to do more.

You will find being a part of the DSDJ community an asset at any point of time in your career - for two reasons 1) The community is really active and resourceful 2) The carefully curated modules that will assist you in every step of the way to land that dream job. For a newbie, it is the whole package since it helps you clearly define a roadmap and a plan of action. If you are relatively familiar with the domain, I wouldn't say the learning resources are out of the world but if you're looking to discover new avenues or simple have the smallest of issues with projects/ things that you are learning, the kind of support you will receive from the community is unmatched in terms of quality and the rate of response; support not just from the mentors, who I must say, are truly phenomenal, but also from all other members of the community. There are no deadlines or someone to monitor you at every moment, DSDJ is as effective in bolstering your career as you make it. -

I first heard about DSDJ from a buddy, and I signed up to get more information and watch the initial videos. This put me onto a mail drip list -- which I have to admit made me think "ugh, someone watched too many marketing how-to infomercials" but each one had progressively more valuable nuggets. The important take-away is that at each step I felt I was getting something of value. If it feels a bit fuzzy early as to the specifics of a technical course outline, it's because this is not a pure technical line of learning; it's not a Galvanize or DataCamp sort of thing. (and thank goodness it's not).
While it took me a while to decide to join, I was immediately glad I did. The networking and mentoring aspects are my favorite parts. It's useful to keep in mind that the valuable piece here is the focus on mindset. The technical skills you pick up will be as good as other technical-only courses -- and in fact a lot of the technical skills you learn here will be by augmenting from other external free or semi-free courses, or books or other resources. So what you've really paid for is the guidance in what's useful to learn and in what order, as well as the DSDJ community which can help keep you focused. As is often the case in life, sometimes it's in learning what NOT to do that is the valuable skill. And a team legitimately cheering you on.
A piece of advice on pricing. As I mentioned, there was an initial "marketing" feel to it. After a bit I realized that if my feeling was right, it also meant that the first price mentioned wouldn't be the best deal and that lower prices would be available if I was patient. You know what I mean....along the lines of "you won't pay $100 for this, or even $75. And it'd be a bargain at $50. No, you'll pay just one easy payment of $29.99" When you hear a marketer say that, ignore all the earlier higher prices they yell out, they're just trying to psyche you up for the final price. When I first signed up, IIRC, the "full retail value" was claimed to be ~$4995 which was "available to me" for $2995. See? making me think I'd be "saving" $2000. Nah, it's really just $2995, and the 4995 is marketing fluff. To be clear, in retrospect I feel even if I'd paid $2995 for DSDJ I'd still feel I've gotten good value.
Now, if the initial DSDJ price seems too steep, have patience. The email drip campaign will kick in and just make sure you watch any videos they send during this process and eventually you'll start seeing price decreases since your watching of the videos and etc will show you're still an active lead that merits a price discount. At some point there's a "6 easy payments" offer, though it means you'll pay ~20% more than if you pay things all at once. So I'd skip that one. If you can wait 8-9-10 weeks, which is what I did, and keep opening the emails so they know you're active, you'll eventually be given an offer that is a vastly reduced number than the original bargain price. I still think it was worth it at the higher original price, it's just that once the discounts started to happen I knew there's never just one, so I held out for the biggie :).
(I'm purposely avoiding saying what was the final price I paid, because your mileage may vary. And it depends on your patience for a bargain.) -

It is definitely a one of a kind program available out there. No data science graduate degrees or Bootcamps come close to this program structure, content, mentorship level. This program can definitely have life-changing effects on an individual no matter what career they plan to pursue now or in the future. It immensely helped me transition into the field of data science. The guidance of the mentors and strength of the community is so unique that one does not really need to struggle alone. The founder of the program Kyle is one of the most amazing people to learn from and I had the privilege to directly learn from him. The program is very much practical in terms of guidance on job search and backed by some of the most amazing mentors in the team. Anyone struggling on how to land a job in data science even if you have a Masters in Data Science or not, this is the best place to be. -
