When i started at coding temple, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I quickly found out that the instructors really knew what they were talking about and were always willing to help if we had questions.
The most rewarding experience with this bootcamp was the Tech Residency. It really gave me perspective of how the industry really works. Shoutout to our team lead Ellijah for helping us through the difficult parts of the residency and making sure we stayed on track. -

I truly enjoyed the Coding Temple Software Engineering Bootcamp. The structure of the program gave me confidence and reassurance that I could succeed. Stepping into a new field can be daunting, but the curriculum was thoughtfully designed and delivered one step at a time, making the learning process feel approachable and manageable. After completing the lessons, modules, and hands-on projects, I feel confident in my ability to pursue a career as a software engineer. They really thought of every aspect and I appreciated how they updated the course as things are always evolving. -

My time at Coding Temple has been absolutely amazing from working with those who were helping me to enroll to working with the SSM's, peers, and in the career coursework. The entire time I have spent learning and now moving on to other areas at Coding Temple, I have really loved the challenges and the growth that I have experienced from my time there. Jessica Sosa is an absolute blessing, at least for me. I'm lucky that I have her answering all of my questions all of the time! Thank you so much! -

I came into the program with some basic HTML knowledge, and what this program really does is it stacks the knowledge on top of each other where you can get to the point of building a static website, a website with functionality, and then building that back end so you can have a database and the website attached to it. The program is very well structured for you to be successful, and they have a very well calendar set up for you to go to events and things that will help you in the long run. This is definitely a challenge. But if you're willing to put in the time to problem solve these complex projects and accept that you're going to go a little crazy figuring out some of these things. Go ahead! -

Excellent Boot Camp
Student Success Managers, like Juan Medina, were a tremendous help during my experience at Coding Temple. He and his colleagues are invaluable assets to the bootcamp, possessing deep knowledge and providing prompt responses. Juan, in particular, worked diligently with me, helping me to learn, understand, and successfully complete my Software Engineering course. -

Coding Temple has been a great experience so far not, just in the expansive curriculum but with the live classes and community as well. With instructors like Yessica Sosa and Allen Ahmed that are amazing and very supportive while remaining realistic in their expectations of you to succeed. The amount of resources they supply is endless and very organized, even providing a guided student map to help you map out your workflow. This is not just your traditional learning, in the ever changing landscape of tech, they prepare you to step out into the real world job market. It's not just a course, its a journey and if you follow all the steps and requirements within 4 months and with no experience they will make you a full on developer.

The Best Decision I Made for My Career
I just graduated from Coding Temple and really enjoyed the program. The instructors were supportive, the lessons were practical, and the projects helped me build confidence. The career team was also super helpful in preparing me for the job search. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get into tech! -

Unprofessional Admissions and No Response to Concerns

I was routed to Coding Temple through an application I submitted on App Academy’s website. The first person who contacted me was Andy Enright, who represented Coding Temple in the admissions process. The experience was extremely negative: he constantly interrupted me while I tried to ask questions, and at the end of the call he hung up on me.I followed up with several emails to Coding Temple regarding this issue and also requested deletion of my personal data, but I never received a single response. Completely ignoring applicants who raise concerns is unacceptable for an organization that claims to prepare people for professional careers.Between the unprofessional admissions interaction and the lack of accountability or communication afterward, my trust in Coding Temple is very low. I cannot recommend this program based on my experience. -

Enlightening Experience!

I'm a full-time college student who somehow does coding on the side. When I first enrolled, I thought I had made some huge mistake. I feel like most people would carefully consider a decision that could change their life. I sure didn't. The first few weeks were difficult for me, but I realize now that was probably mostly self-inflicted. Coding Temple is more than a learning course to complete; it's more like taking a journey on a pathway. It's personal for me, running deeply into every aspect of life. I know I'm a ranter, but just bear with me. Now, it's like I might actually have a chance at learning something I didn't think was possible for me. I can actually code! Seeing my progress, as slow as it is, is more than enough to keep me from giving up. I want to explore the possibility of technology and how it can change my life. I have already come into contact with wonderful people and experiences. What will happen next, I wonder?Ruta Kuisyte of Coding Temple

Hi Brennen,
Thank you for being so open. It’s clear this has been more than just a course for you, and honestly, that’s one of the best things we could hope to hear. It also sounds like you’re just getting started, and we’re excited to see where this path leads for you. You’ve already made progress you didn’t think was possible, and that momentum is real. I saw you gave 4 stars for job support and overall — if there’s anything you feel we could’ve done better, I’d really love to hear your thoughts. You can reach out to me directly at rutak@codingtemple.com or connect with your SSM if that’s easier. We’re always listening and always looking to improve. Keep going. You’ve got this!
Best of luck,

The curriculum has been thoughtfully designed, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed working through each of the projects. Being able to work at my own pace, with all the necessary resources readily available, has made the learning experience both flexible and effective. Each project has provided a meaningful challenge and an excellent opportunity to benchmark my progress. What truly stands out, though, is the support from the instructors. Daniel Ezaro, Katelyn Mehren, Allan Ahmed, and Yessico Sosa have each played a key role in my success. Even though not all of them were my direct instructors, they’ve never hesitated to offer guidance, whether through one-on-one sessions, project feedback, or just being available when I needed help. It’s clear they’re not only experienced educators but also genuinely invested in student success—always maintaining a positive, encouraging presence while balancing teaching, workshops, and individual support.I'm grateful for their dedication and for the structure of the program that has allowed me to thrive.Ripal Patel of Coding Temple

Hi Max,
This was genuinely moving to read, thank you. It’s so clear that you poured real effort into this experience, and I’m really glad you felt the support to grow and push yourself. Daniel, Katelyn, Allan, and Yessica are incredible - and I love that you called out how they showed up even when they weren’t directly assigned to you. That kind of care is what we hope students feel, and hearing it from you honestly means a lot. You’ve clearly built something solid here, so don’t lose that momentum, and please keep us posted on what comes next. We’ll be rooting for you!

This bootcamp was very helpful. My goal was to learn more about programming specifically backend and I now feel much more confident with those skills than I did prior to the bootcamp. I took the backend python specialization and Dylan was super helpful creating videos and hosting live classes that made it much easier to understand the content. The instructors are all very helpful and available to help almost anytime. The curriculum is well laid out and they are constantly evolving the bootcamp experience based off of surveys they offer to students. It is very clear that they want you to succeed and if you are willing to put in the work you will get lots out of it. There is also extensive career search help both during and after you complete the bootcamp. -

Overall, this bootcamp has made a great impact on my learning journey. The hands-on projects have helped solidify my understanding of the material. The live sessions are especially valuable and feel like the cherry on top, offering real-time support and clarification that are key to success. What truly makes Coding Temple stand out is the quality of the instructors. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Yessica Sosa, Daniel Erazo, and Allan Ahmed; all of whom are very professional, well-trained, and capable of breaking down even the most complex topics. Their support and teaching styles have made a real difference. Two areas that could enhance the experience are the use of the Disco platform and the Career Department. Adding more structured content and resources to Disco would make it even more effective for self-paced learning during off hours. Additionally, I feel the Career Department could be improved, as the sessions sometimes feel unproductive and not as focused or impactful as the rest of the program. With a few adjustments, this part of the bootcamp could better match the high standards set by the instructional team.Thank you for providing such a meaningful and challenging learning experience.Ruta Kuisyte of Coding Temple

Thank you for sharing your feedback - I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to reflect on your this.I totally hear you on the cost, and I understand that choosing a bootcamp is a big financial decision. You’re absolutely right - there are a ton of free resources out there these days. What we aim to provide is more than just access to content: it’s structure, accountability, expert support, and a team of humans who are fully in your corner as you make a major life pivot. That said, I know it’s not one-size-fits-all, and your comment is a great reminder that it’s so important for folks to explore what kind of learning environment truly works for them - whether that’s independent learning, community-led, or guided through a program like ours. We’re always working to add more value, more support, and more transparency around what students are actually getting - and honest feedback like this helps us grow. So thank you again. Wishing you all the best in your journey ahead! -

A lot of people worry about the lines of code in a literal sense when you begin to learn how to code. Coding Temple will course teach you the basics of syntax different languages, but the most important skill to learn, in my opinion, is knowing HOW to approach each problem and breaking it down into manageable chunks. Coding Temple does just that, it will not just teach you how to program, but to think like a programmer as well. Not to even mention the fantastic staff and community!Ripal Patel of Coding Temple

Hi Garrett, Really appreciate you sharing this — it’s such a thoughtful reflection. We’ve always believed that learning how to think through a problem is just as important (if not more) than memorizing syntax. It’s great to hear that part of the experience stuck with you! That shift in mindset is where real growth happens, and I’m glad you felt that during your time with us. The fact that you took that away says a lot about the effort you brought to the table, too. Hope you’ll stay close — we’re always here, and we’d love to keep up with whatever you do next!

Enrolling at Coding Temple was one of the best decisions I’ve made for taking my Software Engineering career to the next level. The program is designed to take students from little or no coding background to becoming job-ready developers, and it does exactly that—efficiently and effectively.
The coursework at Coding Temple is structured to ensure students gain both fundamental and advanced coding knowledge. There was a change in the curriculum and course schedule a month into our cohort- that was an adjustment, but every module builds on the previous one, reinforcing essential skills while introducing new concepts at a manageable pace. Whether it’s front-end development, back-end programming, or mastering databases, each lesson is tailored to make sure students can apply what they learn in real-world scenarios. Coding Temple doesn’t just teach coding—it prepares students for the industry with hands-on projects, collaborative exercises, and interview preparation that ensures we graduate ready to land jobs.
The instructors are knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their students' success. Among them, one teacher stands out—Dylan Katina, who I had the privilege of learning from in the Backend Specialization. If every educator had Dylan’s passion for teaching, learning would be an incredibly fun and enriching experience for all. His ability to break down complex concepts into digestible lessons is unmatched, and his enthusiasm creates an engaging classroom environment. Dylan not only teaches code—he instills confidence, problem-solving skills, and the drive to keep pushing forward. His support made a world of difference in my journey, and I truly appreciate his impact, that will not be forgotten!
The journey at Coding Temple was fun, challenging, and rewarding. It wasn’t just about learning syntax and algorithms; it was about growth, resilience, and mastering the ability to think like a developer. Anyone looking for a coding bootcamp that will prepare them for the workforce while making the learning process enjoyable should look no further. Coding Temple provides the knowledge, the tools, and the community needed for success.
We do get assigned a career coach that will be helping us, and I have been getting initiated to that process having just fished the bootcamp. The accessibility has been an adjustment to me, for it has not been not the same experience as working with the instructors- but if, in the end, the result is landing a job with said assistance, I'll certainly be a happy camper! I cannot rate Job Assistance yet to its full potential, but am happy to report back once I've complete my tech-residency- so I have to give it N/A for the time being. The field as a whole within the job market is rather competitive, so anything to help stand out from the crowd is going to be essential to landing a job fresh out of a bootcamp. This course is just the start of a career and journey into becoming a software developer- what one does with the knowledge and connections made during the course is up to you! I'd suggest making all the connections possible, staying close with your classmates, and continue building projects regularly to add to your portfolio to show how capable of an engineer you truly are!
I highly recommend Coding Temple to anyone considering a career in tech, and if you’re lucky enough to have Dylan Katina as your instructor, you’re in for a phenomenal learning experience.

It means a lot to hear how impactful your journey was with us, and I’m especially grateful you took the time to shout out Dylan - he really is one of a kind, and your words truly speak to the heart of what makes his teaching style so powerful.I also want to acknowledge your four-star rating on overall experience and curriculum. Your feedback helps us improve and keep delivering a top-tier experience for every cohort — so thank you for sharing that with us.As you now move into the Careers phase, please know we’re right here with you. Your Career Coach and our full team are excited to support you - not just with job search tactics, but with strategy, confidence, and structure to help you stand out in a competitive market. We’re rooting for you all the way - and we’re still right here to help as you build that next chapter.

Coding Temple was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve had.
I came in with zero coding knowledge and left confident in building and deploying my own full-stack apps.It definitely wasn’t easy, there were moments that tested my patience and brainpower, but the instructors were always there to support me.Big shoutout to Dylan, who was incredible on the backend side and all throughout the course. Let me paint the picture: You’re broke, hungry for change, and desperate to claw your way into tech. So you sign up for Coding Temple because they promise a job or your money back, right? Wrong.
That guarantee? Riddled with conditions. Miss one check-in, take an extension, apply to the wrong kind of job? Boom—you’re out. No refund. No safety net.
But here’s the part that really stings:
I finish the course. I’m deep in the trenches—LinkedIn’s a war zone, Prentus is a digital graveyard, and every job gets 200+ applications in under 30 minutes. I’m exhausted. Depressed. Unseen.
And what do they tell me to do?
Post. More. Content.
“Keep building in public!”
“Share your wins!”
“Promote your journey!”
Let’s be honest—this isn’t community. It’s marketing.
You’re not building in public—you’re fueling their brand. You're a walking billboard with impostor syndrome. You’re tweeting while wondering if your alumni counselor even has a job themselves.
The people “supporting” you? Most of them are ex-students who didn’t land jobs either, now working back at Coding Temple. What does that tell you?
And it’s not just the vibe—it’s the structure.
You do all the work.
You promote them.
You navigate a collapsing job market.
And if you fail? They still win. You still pay.
This isn’t a pipeline into tech.
It’s a content farm fueled by desperation, disguised as opportunity.
Let me say what no one else here wants to admit out loud: Coding Temple is running a PR machine disguised as a bootcamp.
You’ll scroll through these glowing reviews and see phrases like “changed my life”, “supportive community”, or “learned so much.” Sounds wholesome, right? Ask those same reviewers one question:
Are you actually working in tech now?
Because here’s the uncomfortable truth: many of us were explicitly encouraged to leave glowing reviews—not after getting jobs, but during the bootcamp or right after finishing, when we were still broke, jobless, and holding onto hope like a security blanket.
They know how to weaponize vulnerability. They frame it like “Building In Public” but it’s just bootcamp-induced Stockholm Syndrome.
You’re told to post.
To celebrate your progress.
To keep the hype alive.
Meanwhile, behind the curtain:
The job market is a dystopian nightmare.
The instructors and job counselors? Mostly ex-students who never got jobs in the field.
The job guarantee is booby-trapped with fine print.Ruta of Coding Temple

This was a great bootcamp and introduction into the realm of software engineering. I had a lot of support from instructors, including them reaching out weekly to just check in and see how I was doing. My name is Ashley and I am an alumni of coding temple. There are reviews that warn you aways from this institution because there is no job help, there is no support. Believe it. They give a resume temple this I found was oddly similar to one you you can get for free, and tell you to copy it but you are largely on your own.
Additionally, as having to participate in the flex program, I am supposed to have access to my materials. I don't and when I have brought this to their attention they have dodged me everytime and still have not given me access.

I'll say that while there is quite a lot of information to digest, I don't believe that changes based on your bootcamp. I had a ton of support, even though I was flex-based. I recommend this style of coursework for organized and driven students who don't require a live setting. If you have any doubt, I would urge you to do the live setting. That being said, if you know this is something you are interested in learning, and are able to stay well-organized in your time, there are plenty of instructors who are willing to help you in your journey!
Thanks, Coding Temple! -

I liked Coding Temple. I believe there is a lot of value in their program, and that they are always working to provide more value to their students. My favorite part about the program was their instructors - my first teacher Travis and specialization teacher Dylan. Sarah was great too, but we only had her the first week of class. I loved having classmates, and I enjoyed having the option to do stuff outside of class, time permitting, with the workshops, codewars problems, and whiteboards.
Coding Temple is hard. You have to apply yourself. I would recommend being sure that you want to do it before making the commitment, because it’s a big one. I spent some time on freecodecamp everyday a couple months before deciding to sign up for class. There will be things that really test your patience and mental strength. You will spend long hours on the computer learning complicated things. I found it to be a lot of fun, even though sometimes it can be very frustrating and/or difficult. There were days where I seriously wanted to rip my hair out. Go into it with the expectation that you will have to learn to teach yourself things and investigate. You will spend time reading documentation and troubleshooting by yourself, but you will always be able to schedule a 1-on-1 or ask your classmates for help.
I think the front end core section of the course could have been a bit better. That was the main thing that I struggled with, and why I chose backend as my specialty. I felt like I didn’t have enough time to dive into JavaScript and React like I was able to with Python. I am happy with my decision though. -

Go For It!!!
I personally enjoyed my time at Coding Temple, I had a need for structure when learning new things. I definitely loved the positive reinforcement from my instructors Babatunde and Derick, they have extensive knowledge within the field I knew I was in good hands and they made the experience fun & worthwhile. -

Coding Temple gave me the opportunity of my life. I've been interested in computers and development for years, until I met CT. They are a strong community with high values and knowledge. All the resources, material, and lessons itself are above and beyond on terms of quality. I grew my knowledge with them in a level that I couldn't imagine. The instructors, support and professionalism they have is unvaluable. They are more than a bootcamp and I am grateful for this opportunity. Thank you Coding Temple. -

I recently completed the frontend specialization at Coding Temple and had an outstanding experience. The curriculum was well-structured, covering everything from HTML and CSS to advanced JavaScript frameworks like React. The hands-on projects made learning practical and engaging.
A highlight was Cristian Sachs, our frontend instructor. Cristian’s deep knowledge and ability to simplify complex topics made the learning process smooth. He was always available for questions and provided valuable feedback, helping us improve continuously.
The support from the Coding Temple team and the collaborative community added to the positive experience. Their career services were exceptional, aiding in resume building, interview prep, and job placement. Thanks to Coding Temple and Cristian Sachs, I feel well-prepared for my career in frontend development. Highly recommend! -

A Comprehensive Review of CodingTemple's Software Engineering Bootcamp

I recently completed a software engineering bootcamp at CodingTemple, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows that ultimately culminated in a rewarding journey.
Backend Core and Specialization with Dylan Katina The highlight of the program was undoubtedly the Backend Core and Specialization segments, taught by Dylan Katina. Dylan was an exceptional instructor who clearly dedicated significant time to preparing for each class. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he had a unique ability to make complex topics engaging and understandable. Dylan's thorough approach ensured that we grasped the core concepts and could apply them confidently in practical scenarios. His teaching made the backend specialization a highly enjoyable and valuable experience.
Frontend Core ExperienceThe Frontend Core portion of the bootcamp, however, was initially disappointing. Our first instructor, Shoha, struggled to meet the expectations set by the program. His lack of preparation and novice demeanor were evident, which impacted the quality of learning. Recognizing these issues, I brought my concerns to the Principal and Student Success Manager at CodingTemple. To their credit, they acted swiftly and within a couple of weeks, we were assigned a new instructor, Christian.
Transition to Christian Although Christian joined us in the final two weeks of the six-week program, his impact was immediate and positive. Much like Dylan, Christian was well-prepared, knowledgeable, and engaging. His teaching style resonated well with the class, and he significantly improved our understanding of the frontend technologies, even in the limited time he had.
Overall Experience Despite the initial hiccup with the frontend instruction, my overall experience at CodingTemple was positive. The swift response from the administration to address our concerns and the exceptional quality of teaching from Dylan and Christian reaffirmed my decision to join this bootcamp. I feel well-prepared to embark on my career in software engineering, thanks to the solid foundation and practical skills I gained from this program.
In conclusion, CodingTemple's software engineering bootcamp, with its strong backend instruction and responsive administration, is a commendable choice for aspiring developers. The presence of instructors like Dylan and Christian makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about a career in tech. -

I have had few instructors through this course, but I can definitely say that Dylan Katina stood out among the others with his professionalism, constructive way of explaining new technical material, dedication to what he does, respectful attitude to his students, and extraordinary ability to deliver lectures making complicated things look easy. I can confidently say that he is a great teacher and I was honored to be in his class. -

Best of the best!
It was such a good experience! You have access to anything you could ever want. From videos to documents, they even make great recommendations for websites to use to further your knowledge or help with your projects. On top of that, the instructors are there whenever you have questions or need help. -

I was very amazed by how much I learned in the short amount of time given to us, our teachers Brian and Travis were awesome they were very kind and patient and they broke concepts down in a very simple way, and I can't thank them enough for it. Overall Great experience definitely would reccomend. I took the full-time SWE course which was 10 weeks it will seem scary at first but if you put the time and effort you can pull it off. -

From novice to confident!
Graduated today from Coding Temple, the instructors are very helpful with the material. Any time i experienced challenging moments they helped and encouraged me. They introduced me to other members to work with as well which as a Flex -"solo" on your own time person was a really cool addition to my experience. -

Horrible
There is no network of employer they work with to place their students. Their job placement rates are grossly overestimated and they lied about job placement support. All the jobs they want you to apply are also found in LinkedIn. 14 months without one single interview. Looking for legal solutions... -

Flex Software | Good for those with some experience doing basic programming

I participated in the flex software engineering course, I found it great and easy to jump into. Any issues I had, the staff was more than willing to address and find a solution as soon as possible. If you have never programmed at all, I would recommend taking the guided course versus the flex course as the flask and react sections were a little advance for me, as someone who has had previous programming experience. I will say the software engineering course is web based and not as much desktop application based as I thought. I would recommend this to friends and probably do this a lot earlier in life if I had known about it. -

My experience with the Coding Temple Flex Program has been 10/10! The instructors are SO helpful and responsive. They have so much additional material to offer students who are stuck on certain concepts. I also have to give a special shoutout to Aften with Student Success. I started the program working full-time, in school (separately) part-time AND planning my wedding-- really poor planning on my part. She really helped eased my stress and gave me a glimpse of what was to come after crossing the finishing line! -
