About
Code Nation is a digital training school with classrooms in the UK – Manchester, Trafford, Chester and Cambridge. Students in the Master: Coding bootcamp learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js and Express JS, along with mobile development and cybersecurity. Their goal is to help to fill the demand for digital skills and kick start future-proof careers for anyone ready and willing to learn.
To build and update the curriculum, Code Nation works with their network of Pledgers – businesses that support Code Nation students and hire graduates. Because of this, students graduate with knowledge that technical employers actually need. Instructors guide students in hands-on, project-based education. In the final two weeks, students complete an employer-sponsored final project based on what they’ve learned over the previous ten weeks.
Code Nation’s goal is to remove the barriers that stop people from bringing their talents to the digital sector. To achieve that goal of diversity and inclusion, there is no pre-course requirement to study with Code Nation – applicants simply must be ready and willing to learn.

- A TOTAL SCAMM AVOID!!!- 9/12/2019Anonymous • Student • Course: Master: Coding • Campus: Manchester
All their postitve reviews are not true! They promised that everyone will become a fully stacked developer with a great career prospect but the hand cherry pick certain people to get in with a company if you were lucky. The whole system and course was a complete utter joke, the teaching was really awful cause the staff didn't know what they were teaching even when paying £6000 and hearing the course lectures about them take a gamble paying £6000 which is a complete utter lie too cause out of 10 to 20 people on the course and only a few get in as an apprentice on a low wage for a year, the others that didn't get pick and has lost out on £6000 when they saved up and quit there jobs to be on this course while the staff didn't give any advise where to go after we practically payed for their wages while we're left without! If anyone does even consider paying £6000 for this course with CodeNation I would totally AVOID!!! and go with NorthCoders they have a better system.

Title: Code NationFriday, Nov 01 2019Hey, thanks for your feedback about your experience on the course.
Our team of instructors have been hand chosen based on their previous experience as a teacher, or for their technical expertise - we think they're awesome and we're sorry you felt like you didn't get 100% from them.
Our course covers front and back end software development, which means you will be equipped to become a full stack developer come graduation. We're really sorry if you feel like that wasn't the case.
Sometimes additional learning materials are super helpful to strengthen your knowledge, but our team are always on hand to support students and assist with their learning. There's also loads of great resources that are free (like Grasshopper, Free Code Camp, or even Youtube), so we'd never suggest you'd incur additional costs on top of paying for our course.
Regarding the opportunities our graduates get, we work with a huge network of employers to find the right role for each student. For some, that's a direct hire in to a business, and for others it's an apprenticeship scheme with further training and support from us at Code Nation. We present each of our students with as many opportunities as we feel appropriate for the individual, and would never make decisions on behalf of our students when it comes to their new career. Also, graduate's salaries range from 18k - 23k on average, whether that's for an apprenticeship or direct hire.
Feedback is really important to us - it helps us improve and adapt what we do and ensure students get the best possible experience, so thank you for taking the time to post this review about our course.
