I got the Data Science Course with ten weeks of learning focus on Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn). In 3 months, we learn fundamental Python to do Data Exploratory, Visualization, Data cleaning, Statistics, Numerical Modelling, Classification etc.
(Curriculum and Instructors) As an experienced Learning Designer, I appreciated the excellent structure of the course, the high-quality lessons, and exercises. Furthermore, the Instructors were excellent in sharing and teaching; they knew their job.
(Job Assistance) This course's target is not for newbies or entry-level to help them get a job after the course. In my perspective, the course is for someone who has some experience in working with data, wants to upgrade their skills, and would be suitable.

Since I actually enrolled in the Brainstation course before getting my job at Kaseya working in IT sales, I still opted to go through with the course and complete it. I am glad I did because the content presented by our great professor, Matthew Lowe, was the perfect supplement while I was getting my own introduction to IT and cybersecurity at my job. I have already recommended it to several of my co-workers. -

I had tried a bunch of free courses but struggled not having an instructor live to answer any questions I had or show examples. I decided to sign up for Brainstation and i'm very thankful I did. The instructor did a wonderful job explaining different topics and showing many examples. He answered questions very well. I recommend this course for those interested in web development and would like an instructor that able to answer all questions. -

The instructors and overall experience was great. The teachers were helpful and resourcesful, engaging with students when needed in breakout sessions to better help them understand content or provide helpful guidance to solutions. My only critique would be course material vs how much time we have to cover it all. Some of the sessions felt rushed because of questions taking up time (normal of course), but then felt slightly lost as we rushed through the rest of the class. -

I joined the Data Analytics course at BrainStation and absolutely loved it. We had two great teachers who dove into excel, mySQL and Tableau and not only took us through the main pieces we needed to learn through slides but gave us the tools to follow along in class, kept time open for labs where we could try everything out in real time and ask questions, and our final project was an open ended project where each team got to pick a topic that was most fun for them. This was a great experience and I now have skills I can bring back to my job when looking into data. -

BrainStation Digital Marketing Course is FILLED with all the marketing information you are looking for. I chose to take this course to apply what I learnt to my small business. I have no background in marketing and it always intimidated/confused me. Taking this course has gotten me excited in all that marketing has to offer and am now thinking of a career change. It is fast paced and is worth reviewing your notes throughout the week to really get the full value of the course. I recommend checking this course out. -

I recently took the Product Leadership course offered by Brainstation. Overall, I found the course to be extremely valuable and well worth the investment.
The course covered a wide range of topics related to product leadership, including product strategy, product development, team management, and customer insights. Each topic was presented in a clear and concise manner, with plenty of real-world examples and case studies to illustrate key concepts.
One of the things I appreciated most about the course was the emphasis on practical application. Throughout the course, we were given opportunities to apply what we were learning to real-world scenarios, which helped to reinforce the concepts and make them more tangible.
The instructors (Laura L. & Myriam K.) were knowledgeable and engaging, and they did an excellent job of facilitating discussion and answering questions. I also appreciated the opportunity to connect with other participants, who came from a diverse range of backgrounds and industries.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Product Leadership course to anyone looking to enhance their skills as a product leader. Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, there is something in this course for everyone. -

Hi, I am Tanvir Samiyun. I had an amazing time taking a part in this course. Andrea and Juan are excellent instructors. Their teaching method were spectacular. Very thorough and informative. They were quite helpful, encouraging and friendly as well. All the students in the class were very nice as well. Working together in the group for the final presentation, I got similar experience to how a real life work environment would be in this field. Interacting with people coming from all walks of life and taking product management has been an eye opening experience. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking into product management. -

While I wasn't sure what to expect, very impressed with the amount of information taught in a quick 7 weeks. The teachers were fantastic and lead the class at a great pace. I came in with little to no knowledge. It's given me confidence navigating the ad space and I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned. Highly recommend -

The education team at BrainStation is incredible. The overall learning experience was incredibly engaging and an amazing experience.
I came into the bootcamp with some knowledge of HTML, CSS and (very little) JavaScript; I was able to learn so much more and build on the foundations I already had. I now feel confident making full stack web applications. It is a rather challenging 3 months and the days can be long, but the education was phenomenal with very supportive staff that will help you succeed. -

From ingesting and cleaning data, statistical analysis and theory, to machine learning and neural networks - the DS bootcamp was incredibly challenging and rewarding. Each day was spent hands-on-keyboard practicing the skills necessary for weekly project deliverables. The pace of a 12-week program is unforgiving, but with good time management and open dialog with instructors, my success was supported throughout the journey. I feel confident in the technical skills I've gained as well as my ability to translate my analysis into meaningful, actionable insights to non-technical partners. The career success team has iterated over several resume submissions to ensure an optimal overview for recruiters and hiring managers. Networking and interview skills were also woven into the curriculum. They offer extended support during the job search that I'm now going to lean into. I'll return to edit the Job Assistance review if needed, but to date, the BrainStation crew has been excellent! -

This program is super thorough and pretty intense. From the initial application challenge, to the weekly deliverables, to the final capstone - there was quite a hands-on doing that really helped make the material stick and left feeling very confident in my ability to execute. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable about all the diverse aspects of data science as well as how data science operates inside a larger commercial enterprise.
To top it off, there is an excellent job search support program that provides quite a bit of structure and guidance post-graduation. Great program. -

I've taken Python and Web Development courses at Brainstation since 2022. My first impression was the learning advisor that reached out to me and explained about the program and also payment plan. It took me less than a week to decide that I wanted to take the course. I started off with Web Development and it was a blast for me because I never code before but I always liked working with computers so I had so much fun learning it! Instructors at Brainstation are very helpful throughout the courses, they answers questions throughout the week when you're not in class learning. I've taken two courses already and I have two more to go which is Data Analytics and Data Science Bootcamp and I'm 100% sure that I will keep on having great learning experience with Brainstation! -

I thoroughly enjoyed this data course and equate it to learning a new language. I feel I learned the basic building blocks to help me with data analysis and now need to practice consistently to continue improving. The instructors were great and there were lots of opportunities for hands-on skill building. I am not ready to become a full-time data analyst after taking this course, but I do feel I learned the skills that would allow me to get there with dedicated time and practice eventually. -

This course helped me to build on my previous education in User Experience design especially in strategy and usability testing. While I have performed user interviews and usability tests before as part of my previous program, this course provided a more detailed understanding for me. The steps involved in the strategy unit showed me that there is so much more to learn from users during interviews than I previously thought. I highly value the opportunity given by Brainstation to learn more, and now feel more confident in my skills as a User Experience designer.

I came into this training as a relative data novice, with only a beginner-to-intermediate competence with Excel. I wanted to get exposure to a broader data analytics toolset so that I could work more effectively with the data analysts on my team. In 10 weeks, we tore through Excel, SQL and Tableau. At times it was overwhelming, but it all came together in the end. I can't say that I'm an expert by any stretch, but I have a much better understanding of how large datasets get analyzed and visualized. And I'm able to more productively engage with our operations teams to drive better business analysis. -

Succinct introduction. Good, current, insights.

The course was pretty succinct and covered a good range of basics to get a good understanding of digital marketing and the breadth of it. The course leader was working in the industry at a high level and had many current insights into the industry which I found important as digital marketing is still very much in flux with new social media platforms, new laws and regulations from across the globe regarding cookies and privacy - which are very important when it comes to targeted marketing (which is most, if not all digital marketing).
As someone that had as much experience and knowledge of digital marketing as the average consumer, I found the curriculum easy enough to grasp, although it was a lot of information at points. Particularly the beginning where the most previously unknown jargon would be thrown at you. But in time I optimised my learning by writing notes on what the instructor was saying that wasn't on the presentation slide and then going back after the lesson and revising my notes, filling in the gaps with what was on the slides.
After the first 4-5 lessons (of 10) it felt a bit less intense with information - in part because we moved onto specific social media and their characteristics (user base, purpose, etc.), some of which I knew to an extent, and partly because the fundamentals of digital marketing had been learnt. We then had time at the end of sessions to talk one on one about our final projects and get advice, something I should have capitalised on more. -

I am glad I took this course for many reasons. Firstly, the 10-week program was packed with information and useful resources but was also concise. Secondly, the instructors were really helpful and guided me well throughout the course, even when the questions were related to the job market and portfolio and not just the UX course. I am a graduate of Interaction Design but I got to learn more about UX best practices from this 10-week course than from my 8-month long course!
I am also grateful to all my classmates who made the online classes interactive and fun! Their presentations were innovative and inspiring and I got to learn a lot from their unique solutions.

Excellent Foundation Course for UX/UI

My goals for this course were easily met and more! Brainstation has curated an impactful UX/UI course experience. I came in with an understanding of Human Centered Design but no prior experience with UX or UI and feel like I have a solid foundational understanding of the field as a graduate. This was possible through intentional course design - content builds on itself in a comprehensive way throughout the 10 weeks of the course. What I loved most is the UX/UI project we curate along the way and get to present to our classmates at the end. Why did I love this? The project is a way to test the concepts we learn during each week's class (3 hours once a week), it was extremely meaningful to see the concepts learned in class come to life in the final projects. Our instructor, Elizabeth, was fabulous. She is someone with a great deal of industry experience who I could tell genuinely loved helping us learn and see our potential. I loved getting to understand how concepts in the course played out in the real world, as she would often share examples of her work. This course has helped me learn I do want to continue pursuing a UX career transition and will start looking into bootcamp options as next steps.
I do have two areas of improvement that I would like to offer Brainstation. 1 - Given the final project involves designing in Figma, I would love to see a developed resource (accessible through synapse) on how beginners can jumpstart the learning process. I did a lot of research on my own, Figma has amazing resources and Elizabeth was very helpful, with that said having a resource guide accessible to me as a learner would have been wonderful! 2 - I had to miss one course due to an important doctors appointment, I would have loved to be able to see a recording of the course I missed or attend another instructors course.
Really lovely experience overall, I think you will be pleased with a decision to enroll if you are interested in diving more into the UX/UI world! -

Thorough, useful and technically sound
The Brainstation Data Analytics Community course was a technically sound course that covered Advanced Excel, SQL and Tableau briefly but in detail. The course was co-convened by Xialoei and Claudio, both who brought their industry experience to the classroom and helped contextualise the technical learnings into practical capabilities. -

Great Experience! Very Challenging!

Going into the bootcamp I had very elementary knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I could write basic for loops and make simple functions that printed things to the console. I also coded along with a few udemy courses, so I was vaguely familiar with some React syntax, but I couldn't replicate any of the code or apply it to my own projects. I was completely unaware of security issues or best practices.
The curriculum is set up so every week feels like another hill to climb. Weekly projects are very challenging and the pace is fast. Instructors and TAs were all amazing for the entire 12 weeks, but in the end your success in the bootcamp depends on what you can put into it. For me this meant many late nights and weekend work. It also meant asking alot of questions. BrainStation also has networking events with industry panels, so those are good to go to aswell.
Even with the large amount of content that's covered in the course, there are still many technologies that may be relavant to job searches but aren't explicitly covered in course material. This could mean things like GatsbyJS, Redux, MongoDB, NextJS, Prisma, TailwindCSS, SocketIO, etc. As you go through the program, many new technologies start coming onto your radar through what you see on job descriptions or just talking with classmates or amongst your network. Every rabbit hole you go down leads to ten other rabbit holes. The idea of the bootcamp is not to learn everything, it's to provide you with the base knowledge that you need to pick up on new technologies quickly on your own. I feel like the last 12 weeks have prepared me well for that
