The course is very helpful, especially if you are new to the field. SQL part covers almost all you need to learn by yourself further. I'm glad I took that course. I got confidence in what I want, and I plan to move forward with Data Science Bootcamp. Overall experience is very positive; instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. They respond at any time, during and out of the class. The final project is a perfect challenge to apply all we have learnt—good practice-theory balance. -

Absolutely must PM course for any Product Manager
The PM course led by Ekta and Khaled was excellent. I've learned a lot in these sessions; Real world examples were killers, thank you! I would recommend this course to any beginner to intermediate PMs; Very Focussed Learning Experience; we had an on-the-job-like learning experience. Khaled and Ekta also provided valuable feedback to the teams. -

This course id fast pace! it will be over before you know it. I took this course in Jan 2022 and I have learned a lot!
Which brings me to my second point. Don't ever feel overwhelmed! Although it is fast paced course and will cover a lot of topics, I never felt like the lecture was rushed or overwhelming, one of the reasons was because my instructor, Ryan, he is very knowledgeable, well-spoken and he won't move on to the next topic unless he is sure that everyone is up to speed. Also, I never felt more comfortable asking questions mid lecture, you can ask questions beginning, mid and end of the lecture, Ryan was very welcoming for questions or concern. I was very uncomfortable when I started working with the software tools specially tableau, but seeing Ryan teach it during lecture there is something about his way of teaching that makes it so simple, maybe because he literally thinks out loud of what he is doing and the process of creating SQL code or creating work sheets and dashboards in tableau. Which bring me to an important point, DONT MISS LECTURE, if you don't have a choice, you'll have the slides to go back to, they are not as detailed and informative as the lecture but at least it gives you an idea of what they went over and the topics covered and then you can search them online. Lectures are not recorded; I could see why they are not and I understand. Homeworks are really helpful, they are not graded. There is a final project and presentation, you can work in groups or individually.

Overall my course in BrainStation exceeded my expectations. Even with my option of choosing the accelerated course (5 weeks rather than 10) I was able to comprehend and have enough time to grasp all of the information taught. This is thanks to the instructors. Both, the lead and assistant instructor, did great jobs with answering questions and ensuring everyone was on board and up to pace. I would highly recommend this course to expand knowledge and to get a jump start in the job market. -

I had such a wonderful experience. I started this course with no background in UX, any sort of design or even tech, but gradually with the amazing guidance of the course instructors I was able to quickly understand different elements of design thinking, research, sketching, presentations etc. So happy that I made this decision. -

BrainStation's online web development bootcamp was one of the best education experiences in my life. It was the best and intense ~3.5months spent on learning skills with intangible results. After graduating from the bootcamp, i am now able to pickup and learn other programming languages and skills i could never have imagined.
The instructors and the teaching assistants for our cohort were SUPERB! We also had help available almost always which made it easy to push through the program. The instructors and TAs made it very easy to pick up new frameworks and languages in such a short span.
The syllabus and content covered was good especially if this is your first coding experience. This program gave the structure I needed in addition to covering the latest and greatest features of the frameworks we learned. That is one of the biggest pros of attending a live program unlike a self-paced course on Udemy/Youtube or other learning platforms where course content is outdated and no help is immediately available.
The only con in the program is the career support- they should try and seek help from previous graduates who’ve landed jobs to refer current graduates. In spite of numerous job applications, i found it difficult to get an initial call from recruiters. Going through referrals would have really helped. I ended up going back to a job in the same field prior the bootcamp. However, i continue to keep in touch with coding so my learning journey continues.
I would definitely consider taking other courses at BrainStation in the future. :) -

My experience at BrainStation has been phenomenal! The tech stack that they teach you throughout the program (React, Node, Express, MySQL, SASS) is extremely current and popular, but if you want to branch into using some other tools, the Capstone Project is extremely open ended and you are fully allowed to step outside of the tools and frameworks that they teach in the program. The quality of the curriculum was incredibly high and the education team was extremely skilled and helpful. I particularly appreciated the presence of Teaching Assistants. All of them were recent grads from the bootcamp themselves so they had to tackle the same obstacles and challenges that we did as students, meaning they could very easily see where we were coming from and help us find a solution to any problem we were running into. Career Success team is also great, though I am just now starting to job search so I don't know how valuable anything I can say about the job assistance would be. I can say that they have been very supportive throughout the program and they have outlined a plan to keep in contact with students and help them in their job search throughout the next few months. -

I'm a graduate of BrainStation's WebDev bootcamp in London.
I loved the experience! It was really challenging, a lot tougher than I thought prior to starting, but definitely worth it.
The instructors are knowledgable and approachable, the education support team was great and they have a very well structured career support programme too.
I think the curriculum is very well thought out, totally relevant for the current industry standards and well taught. -

As a graduate of BrainStation's Web Development Bootcamp and recent teachers Assistance. I've experienced the best education. I had the opportunity to not only attend the education but also support new students that are about to embark on the same journey. The support and guidance from the educators during the Bootcamp and as a TA are unmatched. I feel confident in my ability to take on any future projects that come my way based on the skills I have acquired with BrainStation. I highly recommend BrainStation to whoever is looking for a Bootcamp to attend in the near future. -

I really enjoyed the project based learning environment at BrainStation. The instructor allowed us to bring our own work project & ask questions with regards to our work outside of BrainStation, related to the lesson plan. Overall, the class went in depth with the units my only regret was not taking a digital marketing class prior to gain a deeper understanding of the topics. -

My experience at BrainStation was quite a nice surprise. Considering the 4 year University education that I am used to, BrainStation was quite refreshing as there was less emphasis on structure and more on learning. The class size was quite small about 13 people or so, this was great as you got to spend more time with each other and really get to know pretty much every student even though it was online.
While BrainStation does have an in-person campus their main specialty of delivery is Online, this is underlined by the fact that the in-person facilities are mostly just rooms where you bring your own devices (laptops). Therefore I recommend that you give the Online option a try as they are very convenient and you save on transportation.
The course material was very current and the software used was also what the industry uses right now. At the time of writing the course used Figma and InVision for their design software, Slack and Zoom for the communication side of things. The enrollment process was very smooth and quick, they have a few scholarship options along with a payment plan to make things a bit easier on the finances.
As for the job end, in this current climate I would say being connected to your instructors through LinkedIn along with the Alumni community is all you really need. Pretty much any University run career advisor would have a similar approach. Part of what makes it easier to grow in UX design is the portfolio, whereas other non-portfolio jobs you mainly trying to grow your resume, which can be hard depending on where you started in the corporate ladder.
Overall I had a wonderful experience during my 10 weeks at Brainstation. I recommend this to anyone wishing to get back into the industry and also bring up to date knowledge to wherever you will be utilizing your skills. -

To anyone wanting to learn the basics of coding, the Web Development course at BrainStation is a great start. At the end of the course you'll for sure be able to build a responsive web page. And throughout, your instructors will provide you with enough resources to even exceed expectations on your final project - like many did in my class - and for you to feel confident to develop your skills on your own. The instructors are very nice, friendly and helpful, I received responses every time I had a question for them.

Good foundational course in data analytics

I highly recommend this course for anyone who is looking to get into data/business analytics. It gives a great foundational overview of Excel, MySQL, and Tableau. There's a good mix of both theoretical and practical knowledge. There are labs and optional homework associated with each week's class, so you choose how much effort you want to put into it (although there is a pass/fail project at the end of the course). The most valuable part of the course is that you'll use these skills to complete a data analysis project and presentation, for which you'll receive live feedback from the instructors. It really helps you prepare for job interviews and what to expect as a data analyst. My instructors, Ryan and Thomas, were fantastic - both were willing to answer questions about course content and career development, and even take extra time outside of class to support. They were both knowledgeable, explained course concepts clearly, and were engaging when they spoke.
I took this course as someone who has experience as a Business Analyst, but no formal training on my resume (e.g. a certificate or degree in a related field). I believe the course will give me more credibility in case I'd like to switch industries. I was slightly under-challenged by the course material since I have some experience in the field already, but the great benefit of having course instructors was that I could ask them more complicated questions about problems I find in my day-to-day work. Despite that, I found it was an affordable course for what I was looking to achieve. -

The course is very fast paced, and it is a lot of self learning. Do not go into the course expecting answers to be handed to you. The educators provide you the toolset, but as a student, you need to take the initiative to actively research the topics that you don't understand. A hunger for knowledge and a love for problem solving, I think is very beneficial to succeed in the course. -

This Data Analytics course turned out to be an extremely fun course that spanned 5 weeks. The instructors were very knowledgeable and extremely patient, and often went out of their way to ensure all the students were set up with the software and had no issues. The curriculum was very thorough, the pace was right even for beginners and the small class size allowed everyone to have their questions answered. The great thing about this course is that it will teach you the right ways to ask questions about the data, manipulate it, and figure out the best visualizations to form a compelling narrative. What can be a very dry topic turned out to be extremely interesting with the instructors proving real-world analogies. Highly recommend this course to anyway who is either starting from scratch or looking to brush up on their Excel, SQL, and Tableau skills. -

Available to learn to be a data analyst - what is data as basic, using other tools MySQL and Tableau as well as Excel. If you are willing to grow your career in data analytics, this could be the best choice. However, it is recommendable to take this course especially who really want to develop professional skillset because sometimes students need to study hard in advance. Of course, this would be depending on your knowledge or background. But, from my experience, it is recommendable. In my case, I took 5 weeks once a week, I tried to review for the next lesson in advance, which was very helpful for myself. Instructors are so well organized because two instructors are associated to give lecture at the same time it's possible to support the student who have difficulty during the session. Learning Support team is also good because giving very prompt reply with appropriate solution. For the lecture, it is very practical and inspiring to get more motivation to study using data. If you want to be a good career in this field, please do not miss a chance to be alumni of BrainStation. Knowledge cannot be taken as long as you get it. -

Brainstation's Cybersecurity course is an effective kickstarting course for anyone with little to 'zero' knowledge of the cybersecurity space. The instructors brought with them a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience which contributed to the overall learning experience. My sole critique (a side from not being able to do in-person learning) is the fact that the course is quite theoretical (think university) and I would prefer a more practical learning option (think college). Overall I learned much from the Brainstation team and look forward to further my learning in this space.

I had a stellar experience at BrainStation's online UX Design Diploma (bootcamp) from July 2021 - October 2021.
Course: I have 2 post-secondary degrees, and I have to say that my educational experience at BrainStation was by far the best I've had! I was nervous about learning online, since I considered myself to be someone that learns better in a traditional "in-person" classroom environment, but the Education Experience team does an excellent job at delivering the course content online (because of COVID) through a variety of engaging methods and formats - this is not a "sit and watch someone lecture AT you" for 12 weeks! The UX Design content is interactive, engaging, well-structured, and the assignments build off of each new content section you learn in a logical way. The capstone project that underlies the whole course is a great way to further apply the knowledge and skills you learn in each unit to a full-scale design project (There are also no tests!). The course content is also adapted and reviewed regularly, and the tools/software they teach you are on the leading edge of what companies/enterprises are using in the industry right now. Lastly, there are many opportunities to work on Design Sprints in groups, Hackathons with cross-functional teams, and to show your own work through independent projects and assignments such as the Capstone - all of these mimic how you will work in the field and set you up for success in your new career.
Instructors: The course content is delivered by former-UX industry professionals that have great insight into how the theory and concepts work in practice - this really helped to prepare us well to use the UX Design process and principles in an industry working environment. They are some of the most engaging and helpful educators I have worked with - you can ask a million questions, clarify something 5 times, and they don't get frustrated with you - and if they themselves don't know the answer in the moment, they will go away and help you find it!
Career Success: The Career Success program runs throughout the educational content, but then the team takes over working with students individually once they finish the Diploma. You actually finish the Diploma by presenting your Capstone at a Demo Day to industry professionals and hiring partners. In my case, I started my first UX job at a start up within 2 weeks of finishing the program, and then started another new job 8 weeks after that! The team was great to help me decide the pros and cons between multiple different work options/offers, and how to set myself up for success at this point in my career.
Overall, 11/10 would recommend this program to potential students! -

Great Instructors - Complete Curriculum - Immersive Experience
During my 12 weeks at BrainStation I learned an incredible amount through lectures, labs (practicing what you learned with your peers) and extra curricular events. Despite being online, BrainStation created an immersive experience to learn and mingle with other students.
The content covered all important areas of digital marketing - I am walking away with a general (and for some topics deep) understanding of different concepts from content marketing over social media to SEO and PPC marketing. Through lectures we were introduced to the theoretical concepts as a basis, while the labs gave an opportunity to practice and apply what we learned. A big part of learning at BrainStation are the frequent projects - this is where most of my time away from classes went into. The projects were the best way to apply what we learned, research deeper into some subjects of interest or relevance and create actual digital marketing campaigns. Each of the projects revolved around one subject (e.g. search marketing) but incorporated our understanding of different areas of digital marketing.
My instructors Justin, Mel and Di were great teachers. They all had extensive experiences in different jobs in digital marketing and could share their experiences in relation to concepts learned in class. Having access to experienced digital marketers is one of the most valuable things in this bootcamp (they are always available for 1:1 calls and try to answer all your questions).
As there are multiple different cohorts running at the same time (e.g. UX Design Bootcamp, Web Dev Bootcamp etc.), BrainStation organises a few extra curricular activities to mingle and learn from other students. These events were a fun way to break up the learning flow and I connected to many talented individuals and could learn from their knowledge in their field.
One thing that stood out to me was an interdisciplinary industry project - 24hrs to work with web dev and UX design students on a pitch for an actual client was very hard but so rewarding!
Furthermore, BrainStation has frequent career events (especially at the end of the bootcamp) to help you transition into job search (topics include interviews, you online presence, CV writing, etc.).
Summed up, I had a great time of intensive learning and connecting with like-minded people. I walk away from this bootcamp feeling empowered (getting rid of that impostor syndrome) and motivated to work in digital marketing.
I would definitely recommend the bootcamp to everyone that wants to learn in an immersive way and can put their life away for the 3 months - "The more effort you put in, the more you will get out of this bootcamp!"

I recently completed a Social Media Marketing course at Brainstation. As a fair beginner in the field of digital marketing, I was looking for a course with comprehensive knowledge to strengthen my foundation in the field as well as get hands-on experience with the most used social media channels for marketing today! I was absolutely fortunate to get instructors with superb experience and backgrounds within the field. I did think the class was too fast for me at times, but it also gave me a chance to push myself to do more research, read and stay updated to catch up. I enjoyed the questions asked by co-students leading to fruitful discussions, not just instructors but also everyone in the class adding so much value to my learnings. Loved working on the final project and importantly seeing others presenting was amazing! In all, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you, BrainStation. -

I applied to and completed the April 2021 cohort of BrainStation's Web Development Bootcamp. Due to the pandemic, my whole experience was online. And while I was initially skeptical about learning something so in-depth remotely, it turned out to be an amazing experience. All of the educators and TAs were very skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. They covered the concepts thoroughly and provided lots of feedback for the practical applications and assignments in the course. I cannot overstate the value of learning web development in a live environment (as opposed to just following recorded courses online). It really made the difference in how quickly I could learn and pick up new skills, which is both extremely important and transferable to real working situations. The careers team provided great info and feedback on how to approach the job hunt, and they continue to offer sessions and support well past your graduation date. While I am definitely not as skilled in job hunting as I am web development, the career focused workshops really helped me refine how I present myself to employers in each stage of the process.Overall, BrainStation's web development bootcamp is a very strong offering and should be at the top of every interested person's list. -

I was very pleased with their LMS and other tools which allowed for seamless communication with the instructor, the learner support team, and my fellow classmates.
I especially loved the interactive workshops we did each class. It allowed me to better understand the material and collaborating with groups and partners enabled us to learn from each other. Our instructor, Han, was especially helpful during studio times when we would work on our final project. She facilitated a safe, inclusive space for the students to show our progress, which allowed us to get a fresh perspective on our projects and improve on it. My Perspective

I have to preface this by saying that before joining the Bootcamp I had a myriad of jobs, many of which were technical in nature. With a background in engineering, I feel I did have an advantage when it came to understanding and comprehension of the more technical aspects of the program compared to those with completely unrelated experiences. I found the content straightforward and detailed, with sufficient information and instruction to complete the curriculum. This is not to say it was easy, I had to commit full time each day and night to ensure I absorbed the material and completed each assignment. You get out exactly what you put into it and you really need to expect to commit 100% of your life for 3 months to this program.
Having completed the program nearly a year later, looking back I can confidently say that the curriculum was very frontend focused, and the backend portion was more of a knowledge base than put to practice. It's understandable that in 3 months to attempt to teach a full diploma's worth of content is a great undertaking, but if the program claims emphasis on Full-Stack development, there should be more meat than potatoes (if the metaphor sticks lol). Alongside the coursework were various hackathons and pair-programming events which were very valuable experiences in my opinion. Allowing us to experience the social aspect of the work, especially over the pandemic, enhances learning and understanding. These challenges allowed us to connect with our colleagues and collaboratively improve our skills. I learned a lot through how others were programming and I can say with certainty that they improved my skills.
When it came down to finding a job, it really is on you as a person to put in the work until you are actually hired, if you don't keep that momentum going when you finish the program you will struggle. BrainStation does provide the necessary tools to gear up for the hunt and interviews but there are no guarantees that you will find work immediately. I will say the most important job assistance aspect is networking; connect with your peers and build bridges, they are key as you will be the next group in the industry. Unfortunately, BrainStation's ability to provide quality networking was dampened due to the pandemic, so being unable to carry out live in-person demonstrations impacts the ability to speak 1-on-1 with potential industry representatives and employers.
To conclude, if you're considering this program and have some technical background then BrainStation can definitely give you the base ingredients to be a developer. However, it will be more challenging for those who have completely unrelated backgrounds and I strongly suggest getting some base understanding before deciding to commit. I loved my time at BrainStation and I am greatly appreciative of the skills learned, the connections made, and how they helped shape my future. -

A very quick deep-dive on all the major digital elements: SEO, SEM, Google Analytics data, content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing. This online course was taught live by a working industry professional, who included wonderful examples of their work and how certain aspects of digital marketing applied with real world examples.
As comprehensive as it can be, considering each of the pillars mentioned above was a three hour lecture. A great way to learn basics, expand your digital marketing brain, and learn jargon, if you are unfamiliar with it.
The final project is a great portfolio piece or worth using to show to your management team or client.
Definitely has changed how I see the digital landscape. -

This bootcamp was a fantastic way to gain exposure to the modeling and technical skills currently expected in the industry. Although I didn't immediately start in data science after I finished the bootcamp, even in my corporate finance position I was able to leverage my new skills to improve processes and run more complex analyses (I effectively became a better Financial Analyst).
~One year out, I now have a job as a Data Scientist, which would have been MUCH harder to land without this bootcamp.
While BrainStation will provide you with relevant information and plenty of opportunities for practice, it is really important to take the lectures and assignments seriously (don't just go through the motions) and continue developing your skills on the job / in your free time. A lot of becoming stronger at coding / modeling is simply practice, so if you are able to apply what you've learned in the bootcamp (and practice a lot), you can be successful in the data science field.
BrainStation was also a cool way to meet a lot of professionals from diverse backgrounds!
