SheCodes Basics

I have thoroughly enjoyed the beginning of my coding journey with SheCodes Basics. All the lessons and challenges were fun and easy to understand. I loved working on my final project and bringing everything I have learnt together. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

The SheCodes Basics workshop is well done. I enjoyed coding! It covers the basics in HTML , CSS and JavaScript, and I understood it. The course is practical, you can follow along and implement the learning in the homework. I really enjoyed the final projects. Learning to code was easy and fun and I could do it at my own pace.

I absolutely loved the SheCodes workshop! It was incredibly didactic and gave me the confidence to create my projects. The learning experience was engaging and well-structured, making complex concepts easy to understand. I feel much more prepared to put my skills into practice!

I had so much fun! It was so awesome to be be able to learn at my own pace, and the option to ask for an extension when i needed one was so helpful. The learning material was easy to understand, and slack helped me feel like i wasn't alone throughout. i really enjoyed myself.

I’m happy to have taken the step and signed up for this course. I thrive the best when I’m learning, and this has been a great way of doing exactly that. With SheCodes, I asked for an extension, got it, and ended up finishing the project 11 days before time, because I didn’t have the date looming over me.

I was really impressed with the tutorials and the way Matt breaks down each lesson. Learning through SheCodes is fun and I love the inclusion of challenges along the way to help put into practise what you learn, and increase retention. One of the biggest bonuses with SheCodes is having everything you need in one easy to navigate portal.

As a beginner to front-end languages, I really enjoy & appreciate the bite-sized learning offered by SheCodes and the challenge comes after each course. This design allows me to put what I've learned from each session into practice right away and reach out to the team for help if needed. After SheCodes Basic, I know that I would love to continue and advance my learning in coding thanks to this interesting & interactive experience.

First of all, love the UI/UX of the SheCodes website! The anticipation of making such lovely websites itself made me excited to learn webdev. The pace was amazing. The challenges were very helpful and ensured we get a practical exercise to review our concepts.”

For a good introduction to coding, SheCodes Basic is the perfect way to start as the content is easy to understand and the lessons are easy to follow, it's very beginner friendly. The instructor Matt explains key concepts in a way that is easily understood. I enjoyed the weekly challenges and the homework, which helped greatly when is was time to create the final project. Everything you learn weekly gears you up for the final project, nothing is irrelavant.

Absolutely enjoyed this workshop even with my very busy schedule in the healthcare sector. I was able to work at my own pace and I am so glad I can easily access the videos to refresh my memory and keep learning. The team as well is quite helpful in responding to messages. Such great work!

The SheCodes Workshops are easy to understand and learn from, they make the concepts very easy to understand, and they take you step-by-step through every lesson, while also challenging you to be curious and experimental.

I can’t recommend this enough! After countless tries and digging through tons of resources, this platform finally gave me a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS. I always thought it would be way harder, but Matt breaks it down and makes it all so easy to grasp.

Coding always seemed very mysterious and out of my reach so if someone had told me I would be able to learn even just the basics in such a short time and create a landing page, while also having fun, I wouldn't have believed them.
