Post-Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Reviews

I recently completed the post-graduate certificate program offered by UT Austin via Great Learning. I started the program with a lot of enthusiasm, but very little knowledge regarding AI and Machine Learning. Program was structured very well, starting at a manageable pace with the basic concepts including basics of Python programming that are necessary for learning Machine Learning. As we went through different modules, the complexity and the workload were manageable. With completion of each module, I felt I was learning new skills that had direct relevance to practical applications. Additional learning material was very helpful when I wanted to go in more depth with certain topics. All in all, by the end of the program I definitely feel confident in my skills and feel like I have grown from novice to someone with practical skills in Machine Learning with utility in real world applications. I was impressed enough with the program that I recommended it a couple of friends and family members who are interested in acquiring these skills.

Each module builds upon the previous one with a structured approach that emphasizes depth over breadth. One of the most valuable aspects of this program is its hands-on emphasis. Every concept taught in class is immediately reinforced through practical exercises and real-world projects, allowing learners to internalize the material in a meaningful way.The weekend mentoring sessions are a standout feature. Whether it’s clarifying difficult topics or receiving feedback on project work, this ongoing support ensures that learners never feel stuck. The mentorship also fosters a collaborative learning environment that keeps motivation high. From curated reading materials to well-designed projects, the content is clearly created with beginners in mind. It avoids overwhelming learners while still pushing them to grow, making it ideal for those who are new to AI but serious about mastering it.

I had much fun learning about the AI and Machine Learning.  It dispel lot of my notions about the what AI is and how it works.  The projects were designed to work on your  understanding of  the theories that were taught in mentored sessions and offline videos.  This is an excellent introductory course that changes the way you will look at the AI and ML.  And understand what can be expected and how to utilize publicly available AI/ML tools.  A shout out to regular mentor Anu Sabu, Shubh and program manager Akanksha who was always there to help with scheduling and any questions with the program.  Thank you all for this great program and making it enjoyable.

The Post Graduate Program in AIML from Great Learning, in collaboration with the University of Austin, has been an incredible experience. I genuinely feel this is one of the best programs available to level up your understanding of machine learning and neural networks. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, balancing theory with practical application. Every project challenged me to think deeper and helped me build hands-on skills that are directly relevant to real-world scenarios.
What truly sets this program apart is the support system. The program managers and mentors have been outstanding—always available, responsive, and genuinely invested in my learning journey. Their guidance made a big difference in keeping me motivated and on track.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the experience and the knowledge I’ve gained. Thank you, Great Learning, for creating such a well-structured and impactful program.

The course was in-depth, engaging, and perfectly aligned with current market standards. But the real highlight of my experience was my account manager, Akanksha Shetty. Her consistent engagement, prompt responses, and incredibly positive and encouraging attitude were key to me completing the course. Great Learning should truly value and recognize the exceptional support they provide, especially from individuals like Akanksha.

This course is rigorous, well-organized, and comprehensive for anyone interested in learning about and practicing developing models using AI/ML techniques.  The course starts with basic Python coding and statistics and quickly hits the road with machine learning, advanced machine learning techniques, neural networks, computer vision, and natural language processing.  This course opens up a whole new world and provides insight into how data becomes useful information and what can be done with it that may have never been realized. The faculty is outstanding, as are the lecturers, mentors, my program manager (Yash Agnihotri); online materials, quizzes, exercises, and lectures/presentations; projects for you to complete, after which you won't believe what you have just done; and ease of access to it all 24 hours per day (you'll need it).

My overall experience with Great Learning has been excellent. The program was well-structured, the content was solid, and the support provided throughout was outstanding.I especially want to highlight the incredible guidance I received from Akansha. She was amazing and supportive throughout the entire course. A few weeks ago, I was at a breaking point — completely exhausted from work, and I felt that defaulting was my only option. But Akansha’s encouragement, patience, and belief in me gave me the strength to keep going. Her empathy and timely support made a real impact, especially during the most difficult moments. I’m truly grateful to her for helping me cross the finish line.

It was indeed a great learning experience for me. The self-paced courses and live online sessions nicely complemented each other and helped in understanding technical concepts and their practical applications. The instructors are professors from prestigious universities in the US who are great at explaining complex ideas, while instructors during the live, hands-on sessions are very knowledgeable and patient with answering queries. The education support staff are also very helpful and very considerate and help students stay on track. While a Data Science course can be challenging, the program emphasizes their amazing and fascinating practical applications that help you stay motivated.

Getting comfortable using Python, ML and AI concepts has been in my bucket list for more than 6 years, tried many self learnings but failed. Thanks to PGP-AIML program, I am very much comfortable now. The way program structured, concepts, weekly videos, weekend mandatory mentor sessions and quizzes n projects are phenomenal. Thanks to all the mentors, particularly Surya, an exceptional individual that I have encountered in the recent past. Keep up the great work Team. Thanks

I was brand new to the world of programming when I started the Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications, and I couldn’t be more grateful that Great Learning offered an optional Introduction to Python course. It really helped ease me in and gave me the foundation I needed to get started confidently. The platform itself is extremely user-friendly. The website and mobile app make it super easy to keep track of deadlines, access materials, and review recorded live sessions—anytime, anywhere. The structure is well thought out, and I always felt organized. One of the biggest highlights for me was my mentor. He was always available whenever I had questions or needed support, and having that kind of personalized guidance made a huge difference, especially during the tougher modules. The video and written materials are both detailed and engaging, and the projects at the end of each module are challenging in the best way—they really push you to apply what you've learned in real-world scenarios. As a beginner, I sometimes struggled, but there were so many ways to get help: extra live sessions, active forums, group chats, and direct support from mentors. The live sessions themselves were another major plus. The instructor kept things interesting and always encouraged questions. Even if I missed a session, everything was recorded and easy to access later for review. If I had one piece of advice for future students, it would be this: stay on top of your studies from the very beginning. The course definitely ramps up in difficulty as it goes on. That said, it’s absolutely possible to succeed—even as a beginner—if you're disciplined and make use of the amazing support system they’ve built. All in all, this has been one of the most rewarding learning experiences I’ve ever had. Great Learning has done an exceptional job designing a course that’s rigorous, but also incredibly supportive and accessible.
