This is a very complete program on Data Science. My initial knowledge was very basic and now I am confident on my foundational skills. If you have the time, be prepared to spend 12 to 16 hours a week if you really want to complete all of the exercises and course material. The good thing is that you will still have access for 3 years after completing the program so you can go over any topics you might need to reinforce. Teachers are marvelous and mentors are very helpful and knowledgeable. My program manager was always very understanding and supportive, and he helped me with different situations that came up.Totally recommended!

I came to this program after more than a decade of unemployment due to disability. The folks at Great Learning offered me an incredible opportunity to upgrade my skills and set me on a new professional path. I recently completed the Applied Data Science Program through Great Learning and MIT Professional Education. I can't say enough how well laid out and delivered this program is! The approach is unique and very effective for all types of learners. The professors from MIT that deliver the live virtual classes lay the foundation of the theory and groundwork for the week's topic, and the weekend mentor sessions with industry experts working through case studies on the topic and relaying their experience and knowledge of how they have applied these techniques really pulls the week's topic together. There is plenty of optional materials to help better your understanding or practice any of the topics covered at your own pace and are all well done as well. I can't thank the Great Learning team, my program manager, the MIT Professors, and my weekend mentor enough for all the work they put in to delivering an incredible course. It is a fairly intense 12 weeks with an in depth dive into every topic but it is well worth it and I can't wait to apply what I've learned to my current and future work!

The MIT professors delivered exceptional lectures that were both insightful and engaging. The mentorship provided by Aishwarya, Hojjat, and Cristiano was invaluable—they offered clear guidance and thorough revisions that significantly enhanced my understanding of each topic throughout the course. Additionally, the program manager, Nitish, provided outstanding support, attentively addressing any challenges I faced and responding promptly to all queries. I am truly grateful to everyone at Great Learning for creating a conducive learning environment that allowed me to delve into the world of AI and data science.

I just completed my class in Applied Data Science. From the prework to completion, it took about six months, and it was time well spent. I came in with no coding experience, and it was challenging, but in the end, it was well worth the effort. The professors were detailed and great at breaking down the course work to all levels of data science learners. Special thanks to Nitish, my adviser, who maintained weekly contact to ensure all was going well. I recommend this to anyone looking to break into the data science field or take their skills to another level.

The "Applied Data Science Program: Leveraging AI for Effective Decision-Making" course offered by MIT Professional Education in collaboration with Great Learning was a robust and immersive learning experience. It provided me in-depth theoretical knowledge and project experiences.The course was well structured for both coders and non-coders. Its live virtual classes with MIT professors and weekend mentor learning sessions were very informational and interactive. The faculties were very interactive and helped with every question I had. The pop-up quizzes in mentor learning sessions were very interesting and it helped to think all the scenarios around the topic.The Olympus platform was very easy to use. It made the access to all the course materials seamless. The detailed recorded sessions were very helpful as well with pop-quizzes. The guided practice projects provided a lot of insight into how to prepare and follow a project path.Finally, the coordinator of my program was very helpful and prompt with all my queries. All the details about the course was communicated timely and explained clearly.

This course has a lot of interesting and insightful information and includes concepts in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Data Analysis and Visualization, Python and AI. I got a lot of useful knowledge from this course. However, It was very challenging and extremely time consuming. So it’s important to come up with efficient time management and study strategies, specially if you are also working full time. The MIT professors were amazing and answered all of my questions on these very complex topics. The course says it’s only 3 months but it was actually nearly 5 months to complete. My cohort started in November, but the class did not graduate from the course officially until March. Despite the longer time, there was so much content to go through in this course that 5 months is still not enough to get through everything else that they offer in this course including additional bonus courses integrated within the program student portal on Olympus. Having said that, Great Learning does try hard to make your money’s worth. Mentors were very knowledgeable and true experts in their field. I am very happy with the responsiveness and eagerness to help from MIT staff and the Great Learning team.

They've teamed up with MIT to provide live virtual classes led by MIT faculty, and they host engaging weekend sessions with industry experts in Data Science, who offer priceless mentorship and support to all students. 
Their online learning management system, Olympus, is extremely effective and very user-friendly, making the experience of online learning seamless, practical, and enjoyable. 
Some aspects I loved about this program include its thorough training, which includes various practice case studies and hands-on projects and the fact that all classes and sessions are recorded, so students can easily revisit the material at their convenience, allowing for a more personalized learning pace. 
I also had the privilege of working with an amazing Program Manager who was patient, understanding, resourceful, and always ready to help by providing quick clarification and assistance in all aspects of the program whenever needed. Furthermore, Great Learning’s incredibly supportive Academic Team was always available to assist us with any questions or concerns regarding our studies. 
This program has transformed my life, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow as a Data Science professional!

The MIT Applied Data Science program greatly helped me advance my career and acquire the practical knowledge necessary to progress to the next step. The material is accessible and engaging (the lectures are amazing!). They will give you enough background to get up to speed. I was unsure if I could complete the work while having a full-time job and family responsibilities, but the course does give you enough time to absorb the material.  Plus, my boss will help me reclassify as a data scientist for my role at work. This program was essential for achieving my goals and reigniting my passion for data science. The well-structured curriculum and challenging nature motivated me to dedicate my weekends to producing high-quality work. I particularly valued the courses on Deep Learning and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. The support from the Program Manager and mentors fostered a strong sense of community. I've started the course with a huge expectations and it fully filled everything I've needed.I've gotten a shy start by my side when I was confused, but during the course I've realize that mentors and managers were polite and always ready to answer all my doubts.Course covered all the topics in a good way, with super good teachers for every live session, mentors to help us with the final insights to catch all the important things, clear case studies, good guidance during every project and complete study material.
