Located on the Rhine River in Western Germany, the city of Cologne is a cultural hub, well-known for its symphony orchestras, museums, and Gothic architecture. Many other companies have their main corporate headquarters in Cologne, such as Lufthansa, Ford Europe, Toyota Motorsport, the three largest Kölsch breweries. As a trade city with land, air, and sea connections, Cologne has the second largest inland port in Germany, and the Cologne-Bonn Airport is the second largest freight terminal in Germany. Cologne has recently seen a significant uptick of startups, especially those that specialize in digital business, and is home to coding bootcamps, such as Spiced Academy.
