Great Experience for a Complete Beginner
I just finished my boot camp at Zuitt but all I can say is it is a great decision to enroll . I learned a lot attending this boot camp and I was a complete beginner before I enrolled and now I can do full stack although I might need a lot of practice to hone my skill but still it a great way to start a new career. Try and try until you succeed! A little back story: I have been trying to focus on improving my web development skills since I graduated from college. After a while, I realized I can’t do it on my own unless there is a guide or someone who I can go to who can easily explain things that I can’t understand on my own. It’s hard to study alone. Proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and for really going for Zuitt bootcamp training. I recommend Zuitt to fresh graduates who are not so confident with their coding skills. Had a bad experience joining this bootcamp mainly because of the following reasons; incompetent instructor [name redacted] has no mastery and no effort at all in teaching, changing of instructors in the middle of topics and lack of group works to simulate real-life projects. I won't recommend this to anyone, it's a waste of time and money.
It was only at the start that I liked the bootcamp because [name redacted] and [name redacted] were very helpful and explained all topics thoroughly. Im still trying to figure out why they have to change instructors in the middle of the back-end training, it was very confusing.
Although it could have been better if [name redacted] had the skills to educate us properly. All he did was literally coded along with us without even explaining the lines.. you have to ask him first before he explains it you. Sometimes, he couldn't even answer questions of students. He's unprepared most of the time and there was a day that he only taught for less than an hour for a full-time class (8AM-5PM), money and time gone to waste. I'm totally disappointed with this bootcamp because of him. I ended up learning more from a UDEMY course just to finish the capstone project requirements.
To anyone reading this and plans to join this bootcamp, i suggest you look for the schedule of [name redacted] or [name redacted] and make sure they will be your instructor for the rest of the bootcamp. -

I wanted to conquer my fear of coding that's why I took a leap of faith of enrolling to Zuitt Coding Bootcamp. Although I have a stable job, I think learning how to code is becoming a vital skill in the IT industry. The learning journey was expectedly not easy but with the proper guidance and expertise of the instructors, I managed to reach the finish line. I would definitely recommend Zuitt to everyone regardless of background and current skill level. -

Worth investing your time and money
All the hardships, the time and money spent was all worth it. I've successfully transitioned from traditional engineering to whole new world of software development/web development. I am a mainframe developer for the past 9 years, and while I do have a Computer Science background, I feel like I am not keeping up with the technological changes especially in the field of web development. I decided to sign up for this bootcamp not just to refresh my knowledge, but I saw it as an opportunity to retool away from legacy systems to the more modern ones. I wasn't disappointed at all - the program is well thought of with the right mix of code-alongs/activities, mock technical exams, career advising and capstone making sessions, and I truly enjoyed my 3-month stay.
Our instructor was more than proficient and articulate enough to explain and translate complex concepts into simple terms that even those with non-IT backgrounds can understand. The Career Advisors team also extends their help in reviewing resumes and sending us job posting we may be interested in. There's also a monthly follow up where they keep track of the applications we have sent and see where they can assist further.
It's really hard to think of anything negative about the experience, I think the program has been expertly designed to help us students bring out the web devs in us. -

Piece of advice.. I would think 1000x before joining the this bootcamp. Dont waste your 60k with this bootcamp. if you really want to learn to code dont waste your money here.. Go learn at Udemy and somewhere else.. its cheap and you can control your pace. trust me. i know. -

I started my journey with Zuitt last February 2021,
At 1st i was anxious since i have no prior experience regarding coding.
But Zuitt with their exceptional instructors and non-teaching staff has always made things
easy to understand , they always make the necessary adjustments for their students to maximize their growth.

I just heard from my friend that Zuitt is one of the best online boot camps out there so I tried joining and I never expected that Zuitt will give me more than I expected. Zuitt just proved to me that they are really one of the best boot camps out there. Zuitt Bootcamp is very valuable to me as a career shifter.
I only have a little bit of knowledge when I started the Bootcamp. My ability right now is not as expert as others, but with the experience that I gain after the course, I have now the skills to start on my path and become a web developer. I also acknowledge the instructor for the mastery of the topic. You will learn a lot from them:).
This career teaches me to learn more and never give up. Trust the process and always be determined.

Pros: They have an extensive list of technologies, the MERN stack included, that they teach you to help you be a well-rounded full-stack developer. The instructor, mine at least, is very patient in solving and explaining to you the problems whenever something goes wrong on either your code, the software that you're working on (e.g., lots of errors thrown on the terminal) or the web apps/websites themselves that you're working on. At the end of the program, they will have helped you create at least three projects (the capstone projects) that are worthy of showing to future job interviewers. Career advice is also emphasized; we had several sessions where the career advisors discussed about different matters regarding job hunting and job interviews in the tech industry. Also, apparently, they offer you some short courses after you finish the main program to help you widen your knowledge in software development. Lastly, with their program currently being a full-time online class this pandemic, I had a very comfortable time learning as I didn't have to worry about commuting and arriving to a physical class or having to wake up very early, among other things.
Cons: In my opinion, some short exercise activities are repetitive in such a way that sometimes, you can just copy a piece of code from a previous exercise, tweak it a bit, and you're basically done for that exercise. It's because the style of their teaching is that you build a web app/website while you're learning bits of concepts step by step. This means there will be similar patterns between the codes you write between these short exercise activities for every session. I would have perhaps preferred a more diverse set of exercises that don't relate with each other too much so that copying of code is not going to work, and will really force you to think of how to do the exercises. Also, for being a Philippine-based bootcamp, I have always thought that the tuition fee (for coding bootcamps in general anyway) is pretty expensive just because, in the past, I went to another short-course review school (but in a completely different field), which I think is very similar to bootcamps, and the difference in their tuition fees is enormous. Otherwise, if you've got a lot of money to spend, it's definitely worth enrolling in Zuitt despite the cons I have mentioned. -

I had basic knowledge in programming I learned from high school and college curriculum. I was not a graduate of an IT related course and I was looking for a shift of career at that time when I saw a Zuitt ad on Facebook. Self studying was not getting me anywhere so I decided to enroll to their study-now pay-later program. There was a lot to learn in the bootcamp that I would not have bumped into when self studying. I also got to attend with peers with is great for the mindset and productivity towards learning and execution. Having people to compare and discuss with is an advantage. The instructors and staff are very welcoming and approachable. -

As a career shifter who wants to pursue a career in tech, Zuitt's instructors and their up-to-date curriculum made it easy for me to learn everything about web development in a gradual manner. The instructors are very much approachable. You can ask them for help during class and they adjust their teaching pace with the students. They guide you every step of the way. Their up-to-date curriculum is easy to follow. You will not be lost and confused on what materials you need to learn. At the end of every lesson, the assessment made me understand and absorb the current topic well.
