Yellow Tail Tech is underrated. More people should know about this program. At first, I thought it was another training scam because I was already scammed twice. I didn’t want to believe it right away. So I really had to watch all of their transformation videos on their website and actually read the testimonials. I even reached out to one of their graduates on LinkedIn just to be sure. Once I’ve confirmed that they’re legit, that’s when I signed up right away and I have never regretted it since. I’m almost at the end of the program and I’m gonna miss my classmates for sure! -

This program helped me secure a position as a Storage Technical Support and I will be forever thankful to this team who made it possible for me. My instructor, Georges, is the most patient, kind-hearted! He even made me a reviewer when I didn’t pass my certification the first time because I was too nervous. It happens all the time for me whenever I take exams, but Georges really took the time to personally help me overcome my nervousness and because of that, I passed my exam on my 2nd take right away. It wasn’t an easy journey but here I am, making a life for myself and for my future family. More powers to your team! -

What I love about Yellow Tail Tech is their genuine passion for the student’s success. You can really see how hard they work just to see us get our jobs after the program and I can really tell, it pays off. Just seeing students get certified and get jobs in our Slack community almost everyday, it’s very motivating and it keeps me pushing. There are days when I feel down and I feel like it’s too hard for me but seeing people succeed really helps! Thank you to the team who tirelessly helps us, I’m almost there! -

It’s truly a life-changing experience for me and I never regretted going into this journey. Now, I have a high-paying job, even 3x more than my previous career, good health care for my family, and at the same time, I work from home and be able to see my wife and my kids all the time. It’s wonderful looking back 9 months ago, I was still working 2 jobs just to be able to pay the bills and here I am. All thanks to Yellow Tail Tech and their team! Zee, I am so thankful and I can’t even describe the words man! You’ve always been an inspiration. Keep it up and more power to your team. -

I really enjoy this program. It helped me get into Linux and find a very decent job. I’m currently working as a Linux System Administrator and it’s a remote, flexible job. I can literally work anywhere I want. I’m really enjoying it and how it also helped me be more financially independent. The program format is very well thought out and you can really see how it’s designed for people with no IT experience. It was a great experience overall and I will highly recommend it! -

Yellow Tail Tech brings out the best in me. This is the first and only time I’ve literally enjoyed studying. I’m usually skipping class at school but the way David Baker taught us Linux is so fun and enjoyable and honestly I’m really enjoying what I do. In the next few weeks, I’m confident to say I’ll be a Linux System Administrator and get a job! Claiming it! -

My training at Yellow Tail Tech has been excellent! It’s not easy because you really have to absorb a lot of information but the instructors are very helpful. I also like the assignments they’ve given us because I think that it really helps us in making sure that we get what’s being discussed in class. The modules are also self-explanatory and we have a Slack channel so that if we have questions we can just easily put them there and get answers. There’s a sense of community you know, it’s one of the best things about Yellow Tail Tech we’re like a family here.
Yellow Tail Tech is a really open learning environment. My colleagues and I collaborate well in class. It’s a really nice environment. You just need to be willing to do the work and you know practice. -

The instructors at Yellow Tail Tech are not just excellent, they are outstanding! I came to the US a month before the pandemic and I was in search of something that would help me earn so I can support my family back in my home country. I got hired as a salesperson and somehow the job became a routine and I was ready for something challenging. This friend of mine who’s a nurse had just recently enrolled at Yellow Tail Tech and encouraged me to check their programs too.
I enrolled in Yellow Tail Tech’s Linux for Jobs program. Me and my friend were classmates and it’s funny cause we see each other at work and we also see each other in class. The training is really good, unlike other schools where it’s self-paced where you can just come in and out of your time, it’s so easy to procrastinate and postpone the lessons. At Yellow Tail Tech there is a designated time for us to take the class, and we are also given time to review and absorb the material. I like it that way.
I believe in the program so much that I know that if I just follow Yellow Tail Tech’s instructions I know I can make it. -

Up to now, I had an awesome experience with Yellow Tail Tech. The experience is great, the environment too. Even though the class is actually online, on Zoom, you feel like you're in a real class. You can talk with your students. You can ask questions with the teachers and more than that is we have that channel, a slack channel where we can communicate. There are people 24/7. Whatever time you ask a question, there's always somebody to answer your question right away. So my experience with Yellow Tail is perfect. It's great. The instructors and TAs, I can’t even think of a word to say about them, those guys are amazing. David and Ricky, and now I just started with Santiago, but I can tell that he's a good instructor, too. And the teacher assistant, too, they're so great. I remember since day one when I talked to, I don't remember the name of the lady the first time I spoke to, she was very, very nice. Everybody in the Yellow Tail Tech family, they are so nice and everybody is willing to help you if you ever have any situation going on. So to me, the teachers are great and the staff is amazing. -

Yellow Tail Tech is definitely not a tech "Boot Camp". It is a school. A Real school. Students are in class, encouraged to ask the professor any questions, and build a great two way communication relationship just like in a university. My experience has been very pleasant. The staff has been very supportive and encouraging. -

Yellow Tail Tech helped me have a more flexible schedule, without sacrificing my finances. I was working as a flight attendant and our schedule was chaotic. The perks of traveling anywhere is nice and rewarding but when you have a family already staying at home is something I really want. My husband is working in an office so we have to ask my mom to take care of our two kids, which worked out until she suffered a mild stroke and I decided to stop flying.
I learned about Yellow Tail Tech from my friend who’s husband is studying in one of their programs. I looked into their website and since I was kinda desperate to do something I booked a session with them and enrolled. It was a swift process that by the time I was studying the Linux for Jobs program and months had passed already I never really expected that here I am at cert prep.
What a ride! The whole structure is perfect! I like how the teachers handed down the modules and how easy it is for us to reach out to our instructors especially if we have questions. Since I’m preparing for my certification already, I’m confident that after I pass and do the internship, Yellow Tail Tech will still be there for me to assist me in everything. -

My previous work was in a gas station, it’s my way of helping out my parents, and since I’ve stopped studying already I have to get other side hustles to provide for my personal needs too. I’ve always been fascinated by the world of IT and it’s like a kid’s dream for me working in the IT industry but I just had to let it pass.
I never really thought that I could be studying IT or working in it because looking back I have no idea how I could finance myself but one time my uncle visited and asked about my future plans, what I loved to do, I told him about IT and he then introduced Yellow Tail Tech because his friend is studying there. He offered me a loan and that’s it I just enrolled in their Linux for Jobs program and put in everything I’ve got. The good thing about Yellow Tail Tech is that I can still do some day time jobs because classes start at 7:00 PM which is really convenient. I like the fact that we have review sessions every weekend too.
I’ve always told myself that when I get in I have to really focus because this is it, this is my first step. I’m very thankful to all my teachers because they’ve been great at everything - support, giving tips, the lessons were handled in a way that everyone can really understand and you can ask any question.
Yellow Tail Tech has given me the opportunity to really learn something new and apply it on real projects. I'm so glad that I was able to start this journey through Yellow Tail Tech! I'm so grateful that it all turned out well for me. Now, I’m working from home and the journey that I had from just a nobody to what I am now is really something. -

I was working as a bus driver for 10 years, and I wanted to change directions in my life. It’s tiring you know, driving everyday and to be honest it became boring. All I do is drive from one destination to the next. I’m sure this is not the thing for me but I’m scared of jumping into something I’m not familiar with and failing. I don’t want to be a bus driver until I die. A friend told me about Yellow Tail Tech, and I never imagined myself learning IT. In fact I told my friend that at my age IT should not be my next career target, but when I saw the interviews on their website of people like me who had no background in IT, it made me want to learn more—so much so that I signed up right away.
It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. I'm so glad that I enrolled at Yellow Tail Tech. The instructors are not just the best they go above and beyond for you. I mean you will know if someone wants the best for you or if they’re just doing their job. At Yellow Tail Tech, the instructors, teacher assistants and the whole team wants you to succeed. I mean it’s a learning platform and a support system at the same time.
Now, I'm working from home as a Linux System Administrator. My boss is extremely impressed with my work ethic and knowledge base, which is clear evidence that this job is making me happier than ever before. I really recommend Yellow Tail Tech to anyone. They’re the best. -

I want to make a change in my life, but I find myself stuck between two careers: one that pays less and another that pays well, and is flexible enough to allow me to grow professionally and personally. Of course, the latter would be my obvious choice right? But I was still hesitant because of the number of scammers I hear and see on the news. I did some research on bootcamps but nothing stood out until my cousin told me about Yellow Tail Tech, he said that his friend who was a nurse before is now working remotely in an IT company. I was like wow, that’s amazing. So I went to the Yellow Tail Tech website and I saw the students that were successful because of them.
It’s been three months since I started the program and I am very very glad I did. It was amazing learning new things and the teachers were very friendly and very engaging too. Our lead instructor is Zee and I’m very grateful for all the guidance he has given me and the rest of our class.
If I had to make a decision of whether I should shift to an IT Career I wish I did it sooner. I thank myself for not passing on this opportunity, I’m very excited about what's going to happen next. I would really recommend Yellow Tail Tech to anyone who wants to have a change of pace and a career in IT. -

I worked as a bus driver for more than 10 years, but I wanted to change careers. I had heard about Yellow Tail Tech and was interested in the program, but I didn’t realize how much it would help me in my new career.
I started at Yellow Tail Tech with a lot of doubts and fears, but the teachers and the program structure quickly helped me overcome them. I am so glad that I enrolled in the program. All the teachers were excellent—they made sure that every student understood what they were learning, so when it was time to take the certification exam all of us were prepared. I was so shocked that all the questions from the cert prep ( when we were still preparing for the red hat certification) were in the exam like 95% of everything we studied were there.
Yellow Tail Tech also helped me polish my LinkedIn profile and resume and we also did mock interviews which were so awesome. I couldn't make it without them! After 2 months of sending resumes and answering interview questions, I actually received 3 job offers all offering remote work. I’m glad I chose Yellow Tail Tech and I’m so happy with my growth both in my career and personal life. -

I have been working as a machine operator for the past five years and I have seen many changes in the industry, especially during the pandemic. I also observed that during that time many workers decided to work from home and because of that there is an increase in hiring people from IT. It didn’t really cross my mind to be an IT professional. I was just jealous of those people who were able to earn a higher salary while working from home.
I saw an ad for Yellow Tail Tech on my way home from work, and I thought it would be interesting to learn more about what they do. When I went to their website, I was impressed with their high-quality content and student community. They really do prepare students well for the job market after they graduate.
The program structure is very excellent, especially for people with no IT background. I really like the way our teachers explain things because I can understand them clearly and they don’t just teach you, they also motivate you. It’s true what they say that if you work hard you’re going to succeed. When I passed the Red Hat Certification Exam I was so happy, my teachers and classmates were also very happy for me and that’s what I like about Yellow Tail Tech, we’re like a family.
After a month of interviews and job search, I was able to land a job and the salary was very competent. The best thing about it is that I received two offers from different companies. Yellow Tail Tech is highly recommended by me if you want to learn new skills or get ahead in your career! -

I have been in the Linux for Jobs program of Yellow Tail Tech for a couple of months at this point. I have learned so much, and it has helped me tremendously, especially for my future career.
The program is very well organized and the instructors are great! They do a great job of making sure that everyone gets a chance to speak and ask questions. The classes are very well structured that you can really get to know your classmates and instructors, and they are also organized in such a way that it doesn't feel like you sit around all day doing nothing.
I really appreciated the message that Jubee was telling us and what the school is all about. It wasn't just about getting me a certification, but getting me a career, starting me off, and doing the right steps. That was exactly what I wanted out of my education as well as my career path.
My experience so far has been fantastic! My instructor is wonderful, he goes above and beyond to help each student succeed no matter where they are on their path toward learning or working toward their goals. Classmates are great too, we all learn together through our discussions in class. I learn a lot every time I’m in class.

Title: I don't know enough, but just the way they're taking me throughout the program, I believe I'm made to succeed:
I don't know where to start. The experience is just overwhelming. When I came in with Yellow Tail, the first day in our course, we had this brief review with Jubee and it was about the program that those that are here have been selected and are chosen and we are made to succeed. So when the program started, my instructors were so professional. They listen to everyone's problem very keenly, and they even put in extra hours to assist those that have difficulties. I am a good listener, so when I listen, I take notes, but some people are smarter than me, and so when I have issues, I always go back to my instructor after the class and I always listen to them, they are always willing to help, to listen and to assist. So, my class has been very exciting, and I have really gained a lot from Yellow Tail Tech because I never knew I could go so far, right now what I can do in Linux, I never knew I can do it. And there are a lot of things in Linux that I also need to know. I don't know enough, but just the way they're taking me throughout the program, I believe I'm made to succeed. At the end of this program, I think whatever the case, I will never regret it. I will not. But first of all, the aim of the program is for me to know what Linux is. They don't really care much about you being certified. They care much about you understanding what Linux is, and once you understand it, having a certification is not going to be difficult. You're going to just go into it and pass it. Right now I'm ready to take my certification after just three months of classes.
There is nothing in Linux that will be above me because I know where to get the resources, I know where to get assistance. I know how to ask my questions, and I know how to communicate the IT language. So there is absolutely nothing in IT, specifically in Linux, that I will not be able to handle, right now. In just three months! It's not like I've been in the program for six months. It's three months, April till today, August, is like three months.
My instructors are high-level professionals, and I envy them because I just wish I should have been in their place. Because of the way they handle the classes, they make it a little bit easy for someone to assimilate, even if you have no clue in Linux, or in IT. Riky is something else like he's that person. He smiles all the time, but he gives you the real thing. So if you come in to play with Riky, he'll play with you. But if you come in with seriousness, he's going to give you what you want. So thank God, in my class everybody is a joker and everybody wants to learn something, and Riky had it hot, because when he explains certain things and people are like, what's this? Riky will say, oh man, last class I said this. So he always goes back and forth to make sure that we are on the same page. I just love that dude. He told us that during the internship, he's going to make it difficult for us. I'm still waiting to see that because he's not that kind of person that he plays a lot, and the classes, his classes were so amazing. Now in IT infrastructure, if we talk about things like subnetting, I can give you whatever you want with subnetting, because he's so good at it. And I love the way he took the class. He was so serious, and even though he was playing, he was so serious and he made sure that we covered all the loopholes. And right now I'm good at IT, especially in IT infrastructure, building, connecting the routers to servers, and all that stuff. That would have made the class really interesting and I just love his assignments. His assignments were really enriching and they taught me a lot, because I spent hours on hours, and slept at 03:00 AM at times just to complete assignments.
So if you come to Yellow Tech, please be ready to work because it’s not a place for someone to come and sleep. That's what I will say.
Thank you Yellow Tail Tech, I will forever be grateful to you. -

My experience as a student at Yellow Tail Tech has been great from the get-go. From the time when I decided that I want to be in Yellow Tail Tech, I reached out to the team. They told me part of the aspects of it. The team was quick to reach out back to me. I had a great interview. They kind of broke it down for me, the whole program. Currently, I've been at AWS for jobs. They broke down the program structure from start to finish. To me, AWS for Jobs is a great program. And to anybody who wants to take the leap of faith and go into IT, either AWS or Linux, the other program that Yellow Tail offers, I definitely recommend that you join the course. The way the program is structured... It's a solid program. You are guaranteed to get a job if you get into this program. Definitely. The instructors are golden. Yellow Tail Tech has good instructors. The way they teach, and the way they instruct it’s very different from a college aspect. The teaching is handled. As they teach, they walk you through everything that you are doing. And another thing is they start from zero. Currently, my classes are with different people who are at different IT levels. There are some who are below the IT level, and who are in the IT industry for a very long time. There are some who have zero IT. But by the way, the instructors will break it down from zero to as we build up..., I am also in the IT industry, but the way the instructor taught us is like filling in the gaps from what I previously learned. And the instructors are very educated in their professions and they are very patient with the students. That's the key thing about the instructors that are clever. They're very patient with the students. If you ask a question they’re always ready to answer. And also there are recordings on every class that is available for us to download and so we can use them anytime. -

My experience at Yellow Tail Tech has been an awesome experience. This program has been well thought out. There's evidently been a lot of preparation and real thought put into it, which makes it different from all of the other little programs. In other programs, you get in there and you don't know anything by the time you're done and you’re still just as confused as before you started. What I also love about the program is that there's never just one main instructor. You get two or three different ones, and what's great about having a variety of teachers is that what you may not get with one, you may understand with another. And it doesn't mean that one is presenting great while the other is not -no, it’s just they present it in different ways. So even if you don’t get it the first time you’ll surely be able to understand it the second time around. The modules are also set up in a structured manner. And the thing that I love is the fact that they advertise, "Hey, if you want to break into IT, you've never done IT, here come." I've seen a lot of programs say that, and then when I get in there, I'm like, "Okay, I get this because I've done some courses, but I know somebody else won't get this." The modules really are broken down from A to Z. You start with the building blocks, and they give you the basics. It’s not like having a bunch of topics getting thrown at you, but it’s given to you in a very consumable way. I don’t want to say spoon-fed but it's given to you at a pace that you can consume it, digest it, understand it, and then move to the next thing. I always say that any program that can keep my attention, has done a great job. It’s very engaging. The key is to always practice. You got to practice the things you learn because they give you everything. I'm excited and nervous at the same time to get to the exam because once I get to the exam, that means I can go to the internship part. It's great. It keeps you going, it keeps you motivated, and it gives you that drive. Cert Prep is my favorite part. I like the way it’s presented and I like the speed that we’re going. You have to make sure that all the things you need to know you have put in your memory. That’s why practice is very important. As soon as they said cert prep was the start of the week, I don't know what happened. I'm even more hyper-focused now. It was crazy. Also, they gave us t-shirts, I'd wear those T-shirts anywhere. I want somebody to ask me about it so I can be like, "Yellow Tail Tech. Let me tell you what it's all about. "What I would love, I hope as the years go by that they'll even branch out and offer other courses. Not just Linux, but maybe one day start offering courses like cybersecurity. I love how they got AWS, and they got the Linux thing, but if they can set it up and have everything the way this program is set, that would be great. I'd recommend it to everybody. Everybody, do Yellow Tail Tech.

Overall the program is great! I feel like the instructor that is currently teaching is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to explain the concept has simple as possible. The material that they provided feels like they have everything that you need in order to learn Linux, its not necessary to go to external sources to find the answers you are looking for. They provided everything in front of you and this school is definitely worthwhile for a career change. -

I’ve had several years of experience as Windows Admin prior to Yellow Tail Tech but I’ve always been so curious about the Linux System.
When I entered the program, I didn’t expect it to be so intense and challenging but at the same time rewarding. You gotta put in a lot of work so be prepared to study and practice a lot. The best thing about Yellow Tail Tech are the people, my fellow students who are very diverse and the instructors who put in a lot of effort to help you in every step of the way. When Yellow Tail Tech was introduced to me by a friend, I was already working at Amazon in the Network Deployment Team. I was pretty skeptical about it because I've been taking some courses from other platforms and programs which turned out to be unbeneficial to me.
I gave Yellow Tail Tech a shot because I've been hearing a lot of great things about it and when I started the class, I easily felt its difference from the other programs that I took. So far, I'm already applying some of the skills that I acquired in my day-to-day job.
The Instructors were very patient with us. They provide great education from their experience as professionals in the field. The recorded sessions were the most helpful for me because I can go back to it whenever I need to and it always feels like I'm in that class again.
I really appreciate Allan, our lead instructor, because he gives every single one of us a chance to ask questions and he would really take his time to explain it to you. He makes sure that you understand it before he moves on to the next and when he knows that you didn't get the topic, he asks you to stay after class to go through the topic again to make sure you're confident enough. What I also loved about the instructors is that they are very flexible to your needs. Whenever I'm too busy at work and I ask them if they can help me on the weekends, they were always there even on Sundays.
The way they structured their program is awesome! It starts from the bottom to help people with no IT knowledge up to the end where every student can feel ready and well-equipped to find a job.
All of my fellow students are fantastic. It is a great community of motivated people. They will make you feel like a part of a family. David, now part-time instructor, helped us a lot during the weekends.
The money that I paid for the class is so worth it. I will recommend this program 100% to those who want to change their lives for the better.
I am already eyeing an internal position at Amazon and I have Yellow Tail Tech to thank for that.

My experience with Yellow Tail Tech has been really wonderful. I've seen other I.T. Companies or Bootcamps advertising, but something about Yellow Tail's advertising kind of drove it home for me. It really spoke to me and made me wanted to pursue Yellow Tail Tech.
I've been training with them for 5 and half months now and my experience has been excellent as far as the materials, the instructors, the time frame that works around my job, it just all falls into place. I have enough study time, enough classroom time, and nothing is interfering with my day-to-day life. Also, I'm learning a new skill so I give Yellow Tail Tech, two thumbs up!
The Instructors that I have are Certified Red Hat System Administrators. They are very knowledgeable and they teach from real-world experience. They don't move forward with another project unless you're getting the concepts and if you have problems, they organize reviews on the weekends that you can attend so you can catch up and learn those things that you might have had difficulties grasping.
The structure of the program is very straight-forward, they start you with the basics then you build-up from the basics. The program is really user-friendly. They take it slow for you so you can digest these new information and concepts. I'm really pleased and happy with it. Right now, I'm on the Certification Prep Program and I'm really confident because I've been doing a lot of Certification Practice Exams. With the training and knowledge that I got from Yellow Tail Tech's program, it doesn't matter which exam I pull online, I'm able to answer the questions with confidence and with ease.
I'm very confident that once I complete the certification prep program, I will be passing that exam with the knowledge that I've gained.

I started my Linux for Jobs program with Yellow Tail Tech with a background in help desk. I thought it's gonna be really easy for me but honestly, I was challenged in a good way.
What I love about them is how hands-on they are from start to finish. They gave us this really great internship and even guided us with personalized career strategies after the program. They won't just teach you and stop there. I can't find the right words to describe how great they are in providing student support. Really, hands down!
I can truly say that Yellow Tail Tech is easily one of the best boot camps out there!!! -

I thought working in Windows and Help Desk was the end game for me until I saw Jubee's video The Biggest Myth in I.T. I got curious and did more research about Linux and the last thing I knew, I was already enrolling on Linux for Jobs and since then, I couldn't be any happier with my decision.
What I instantly noticed about Yellow Tail Tech is that they select their student applicants well and you'll easily see how it benefits the students because once you enter the program, everyone's motivated, all of us are striving to get a better career. It's so much better working in a great environment like that backed up by quality support from our instructors. Special thanks to Allan, David, Thierry, and Zee for being so proactive in helping us.
Thank you Yellow Tail Tech for the opportunities you are giving us. I'm really hoping you'll stick around for years helping more people like me. Kudos! -

I GOT 145K A YEAR JOB OFFER THANKS TO YELLOW TAIL TECH

I was already in Network Administration but I thought I wanted to grow further.
It was pretty hard for me to switch my career but Yellow Tail Tech helped me turn my fear into confidence.
At first, I doubted myself and failed my certification but I tried and worked harder thanks to the support I got from Yellow Tail Tech and the 2nd time I tried, I was able to pass and look where I am today: I received a offer from FBI as a Linux System Admin with 145K a year!
I gave my family financial freedom doing something that I enjoy and that's what my goal in life is!
Yellow Tail Tech really changed my life.
They helped me from start to finish. They provided an elective internship program and even backed-up their course with a Student Reimbursement Program where you will be refunded your full tuition if you do not receive an offer within a set amount of time after your internship, but you know what, in the past 6 years, they have never reimbursed anyone yet -

Working in Windows and help desk can sometimes be a little boring and that's the reason why I want to take on a new challenge.
When I saw Yellow Tail Tech's program catalog, I instantly knew how more thorough and comprehensive their program is compared to what other bootcamps are offering. That alone convinced me to enroll, and once I was in, it did not disappoint.
The Instructors are so hands on. They encouraged us to learn more and ask questions. Even though the programs are done online, I was amazed to see that it's even more interactive than face-to-face classes!
Thanks to Yellow Tail Tech, I recently received my RHCSA Certification and I was able to experience how fun I.T. can be and not only that, it also opened a lot of better opportunities for me. -

After living and working in Haiti for a long time, I felt I needed a change.
I had a little bit of IT knowledge, but it was not something that I felt confident could help me land a job. After looking into the course at Yellow Tail, meeting with Jubee and seeing the type of education and support I would receive I did not hesitate to enroll in the course, and so I left Haiti and moved to the US right away so I can get into the program. No regrets because I now hold a position as a Linux Systems Administrator at NIH.Everything at Yellow Tail is structured with your success in mind. The instructors, the course materials, the support that you get, even the environment that is created with the students with their “no man (or woman) left behind” mentality. This gives you a confidence boost and along with putting in the work you just know that you are going to be successful. I am very happy with the training I received. I have a great salary which gives me so much peace of mind and I am continuing my path to bigger and better things with the foundation that Yellow Tail Tech provided for me -

I was working in a Car Dealership before and I wanted something new, something that can fulfill me and that I would be happy with. I have reached at the top of the ladder of the dealership and felt that I could not go any higher. So one day I was taking my lunch break and went to the supermarket and that is where I say advertisement for Yellow Tail, so I started doing research online about Linux system administrators and i did not understand anything that was there. I called and Jubee answered, we set a one on one to talk about the course. It was exactly what I was looking for. Small classes, no conflict with my work schedule and did not have to have IT experience. I was convinced after the first 5 mins. During the session, the instructors are the best. They are always on top of everything to help and guide us reach our goals. My fellow students are like a family to me. We formed a study group so we motivated each other so we could all pass the certification and get more opportunities. We still stay in touch and support each other if any of us have issues at work. As for the program structure, it’s amazing! Yellow Tail Tech guided me all throughout and after I took the program, it has led me to a lot of great possibilities. The number of job opportunities I got across the state is incredible. I received job offers from California, New York, New Jersey and a lot more! I still receive phone call and emails from recruiter asking if I am available for new opportunities. I definitely recommend this program to those who are looking for something new and better for their careers. From working at a car dealership, I now work as an Linux Administrator at NIH. Who would have thought I can make a lot of money doing something I actually love?
I owe it all to Yellow Tail Tech!

I was already working at Amazon as a Datacenter Technician but I wanted a career upgrade. Yellow Tail Tech has helped me achieve that goal and SO MUCH MORE! A month later after I finished the program, I saw myself moving to Texas with a job as a Site Reliability Engineer.
What I truly love about Yellow Tail Tech aside from the program is the student environment. The environment at Yellow Tail is such, that instead of competing against each other, everyone was supportive, and we rooted for each other’s success. My instructor, Allan, was great at teaching the curriculum. He gave us real-life examples of how we can use Linux in a real work environment.
If you want to achieve success you must do the work, clear your schedule, put in the effort. I kept studying and trying and I was able to get certified and land a great job after only a month. If I can do it, so can YOU! -

I previously lived in Haiti with a background in Civil Engineering and when I moved to the US, I worked as a Cable Technician at Comcast. I’m a guy who’s interested in a lot of things and when I found out about Yellow Tail Tech, I felt like it was something worth the try and right now, I can definitely say it’s worth it as I sure am very satisfied with my life now as a Linux System Admin at Department of State, thanks to Yellow Tail Tech.
The instructors at Yellow Tail are superb. They provide so much knowledge and information and you can ask them anything and they will not hold back and give you everything you need to know. The environment with the students is also a very positive one, no one gets frustrated or impatient since going in we know that we are all starting at a beginner’s level. We were encouraged to share our own knowledge and that created a great support system among all the students. I also really liked the Slack channel, where we could get ideas, support, debate and receive all kinds of information related to our course. -

I dropped out of college because I was looking for an alternative to the traditional education experience, and when I found Yellow Tail Tech, it immediately propelled me to where I am right now which is a Automation Engineer.
One major thing that really attracted me to the program was their 92% certification rate. I knew going in that if I put in the effort and did the work, I was going to obtain my certification and that would lead to a job offer in no time. And that is exactly what happened, I passed my test and obtained my certification and had offers coming in that same week.
I love how broad the job market is. A lot of jobs are available whether you’re a college graduate or not and there are so many opportunities that you can get.
If you’re someone like me looking for a career path, I can assure you, this is a great choice for you! -

The instructors are really great, they are putting a lot of time to help us with the lessons during and after class. I cannot be happier with the instructors that we have. The program format is great, it's clearly made by professional people who have solid background and understanding of the programs and job market. The programs are really targetting all you have to know about Linux. The people behind Yellow Tail Tech who designed the programs and the instructors know exactly what is needed to be delivered for us to be successful in the industry.Yellow Tail Tech provided us with a student hub in order to help us communicate and exchange knowledge and experiences with each other. It's such a great tool for us to ask questions, get some answers, get tips, and other things that can help us with our journey.I've been enjoying this program a lot. It's been challenging, there's no question about that, but everyone's motivated to succeed. The instructors are giving us something to look forward to everyday with more and more students getting certified. It's what's keeping us excited and inspired to go on with our journey.I will definitely recommend Yellow Tail Tech to others because they have a very well-structured program. The team is really supportive. The student hub makes it really easy to just express our ideas and ask any questions. As for the instructors and TAs, they are really helpful and reassuring.
One of my instructors, Zee, is the one who actually introduced me to the program. He is definitely an ocean of information. David, is very knowledgeable and is willing to help us every step of the way.The program format is really nice. The courses and syllabus are clear and helpful.
The way Yellow Tail Tech set-up the program is very organized and they give us all the resources that we need. The student environment is very friendly, everybody's helping one another and there's no competition.
The other students are very nice, helpful, and if they know something, they just share it with everybody in the class.I've never enjoyed a course this much that I actually put in hours every day just to make sure that I get the concept, ideas, and I work hard until I am comfortable.

My experience with Yellow Tail Tech is phenomenal.
Yellow Tail Tech is like a gateway for me to believe you can own the world. I enjoyed the course from day one to the last day of the program. The instructors at Yellow Tail Tech are beyond comparison.
Their technical knowledge with real-world experience puts their students in a position where they too can boast about themselves with full courage during a job interview. I like the way the program was set up.
My experience as a non-IT background person, I was able to start the program with baby steps to giant strides in 6 months and was able to shine during my job interview and landed a job as a Federal Contractor at Sandia National Laboratories. All these with the help of the way the program was set up. I really enjoyed the program at Yellow Tail Tech and I am ready to advance in my career as a Linux Engineer. -

YellowTail is not just a school, it is a valuable experience for anyone who wants an IT immersive experience. As a non-IT background employee who was after a career change, I wasn't sure what to expect or how I would be received. I was excited to see on day one, not just the cultural diversity of the class, but diversity in every meaning of the word. Everyone was embraced and accepted no matter their background. The program itself is not only an extremely comprehensive, well structured, and hands-on crash course on IT technical knowledge in general and Linux knowledge in specific (in my case) it also provides students with a real-time hands-on experience to become a Linux system administrator by having an opportunity of 2 months of virtual internship which helped me not only experience the day-by-day workflow of a Linux system admin but also being able to speak with confidence about it in my job interviews. The instructors are all current Linux administrators - engineers who don't just teach theory but rely on their experience to relaythe knowledge. The support team is dedicated to the success of every student and will work diligently to make sure that every graduate shines! I know that my landing a Linux sysadmin role is a direct result of my YellowTail training. I would highly recommend YellowTail to anyone looking to break into the IT world as a Linux system administrator or aAWS Sys-Ups engineer to definitely consider YellowTail not only as a school but also as a bridge to become an IT professional from even zero. -

My experience in Yellow Tail Tech has been outstanding and eye-opening. I've learned a lot and so far, everything's been great. My instructors, Zee, Cedric, and David are doing a phenomenal job. They can answer all the questions that we have, they have a lot of insights, experiences, and history with their previous jobs, and they are definitely experts in the field. Their current positions now definitely inspire and motivates me and I'm sure that's what other students in my class feel. The program format is excellent. We learn from one another and there are tons of resources. I definitely love the recorded sessions, that's something that I've never experienced before and I wish they would do that in traditional schools. I think it would really help a lot of people because there's a lot of things that you might miss that you didn't realize. Everything is great with Yellow Tail Tech -- the resources, the instructors, the program format, the student environment. I couldn't ask for more and I'm very much enjoying every minute of the classes. I recommend this 10 out of 10 because this is definitely a unique way of getting into technology especially with someone who may have little to no knowledge of I.T. Kudos, Yellow Tail Tech! -

FOREVER THANKFUL TO YELLOW TAIL TECH

I have been in data processing more years than I care to remember. In fact, I had retired from the industry. However, LIFE & some medical bills has brought me back. I had been an application developer, However, I was interested in the cloud. I soon became aware that rising to clouds without being grounded in the basics was foggily, confusing. That led me to understand that Linux was the right connection. I was then ready and Jubee's video came across my system. He was looking for people who were ready to learn ... that was me!
I have been a trainer and adjunct professor, but I have been blown away by the training one receives at Yellow Tail Tech. Not only do they have the curriculum hone to a fine point, focusing on the most crucial needs of the industry, but they have found the most knowledgeable, skilled instructors to deliver the classes in a most engaging way. I thought I knew how to teach, having worked in multiple types of classes and married to a Christian Educator. But I have learned a thing for two myself about teaching as well as Linux.
Finally, the program attracts some of the most outstanding people around. My cohort has become some of the best friends I have ever had. They will be friends for life. I would not have met them if not for Yellow Tail Tech, because they are from all over the country in every time zone. Recommending the program to others is a question that need not be asked among my cohort!
I will be forever thankful to Yellow Tail Tech. Cheers!
