Being part of Uvaro's first cohort was both a privilege and a responsibility. A privilege as I was able to learn directly from Joseph himself, and a responsibility as our actions dictate what happens to future cohorts. Uvaro is instrumental in not only giving me technical skills to be successful in sales, but also the spark to be excited about my future.
Joseph was thorough in his teachings and kind enough to be flexible with my current employment situation. The curriculum is designed so that even those with no sales background will finish the course confident with their sales knowledge and practical skills. It pushes us beyond our comfort zone and makes us interact with real sales professionals, which is essential for our growth.
I could not have asked for a better 12 week experience from a better group of people. Joseph and everyone at Uvaro was truly amazing.Joseph Fung of Uvaro

They are with you all the way!
I finished the Tech Sales Bootcamp and it really gave me tools to start the careers, coaches are supportive, very responsive, and diverse topics to learn. I used the tools from the bootcamp, and I am having calls and interviews. If you communicate with your coaches they will prepare you for interview, and job search.Kim Jarencio of Uvaro

Listen to me...if you are on the fence about enrolling in the Tech Sales Bootcamp @ Uvaro...DO IT NOW. The instructors are topnotch, curriculum is planned impeccably, the class format is so engaging, the career coaching and guest speakers are world-class! I learned so much, I pushed myself and I have been equipped with the tools and network to succeed. Uvaro prepared us so well, that a few of my classmates had interviews lined up during week 3!!!! No prior SaaS experience, no network...that's how good Uvaro is at what they do. Special shout out to our instructor Astha Talvar - the life changer. -

All the instructors have been in the industry a long time, and about all of them are still doing sales or entrepreneurship apart from teaching. The curriculum is hyper focused on skills that are actually industry relevant to tech sales (I took the 4-week course). If you take advantage of the community, you can learn from the hundreds of grads that are actually thriving in the tech sales industry, as they are all incredibly easy to connect with. Before Uvaro, I had one friend in the tech sales community, but now I have over 300 LinkedIn connections and I'm friends with several high-level salesmen whom I hang out with weekly (outside of Uvaro, but Uvaro helped).
Risks To Account For: Though the 4-week course only has 10 hours of class a week, you should dedicate an extra 10 to job search and practicing what you learned through their out-of-class workshops. Hard skills like cold calling, interview prep, and job search strategy require more hands-on experience and coaching. If you choose to take the course during Sep-Dec, know that the job market for SDRs/BDRs is a fifth of what it normally is during the rest of the year, so be prepared to spend another one to two months job searching. People are still getting hired during this time, but it will take longer.
Suggestions for Improvement: The SDRs that I've been talking to use tech stacks like sequencing tools (Outreach, Salesloft), data tools (Apollo & ZoomInfo), and dialer (Kixie, Connect&Sell, and MonsterConnect). We mentioned all these things in class, but wouldn't I be more prepared and more marketable if we had hands-on experience with these? -

I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.
I say Uvaro led me to the battlefield, but I had to conquer my own enemy.
My life before Uvaro, had been spent waiting in the ranks. The first thing Uvaro taught me was how to harness the power of my Conviction. Practically overnight, that 10x into Courage, and next came Confidence.
For some reason, I can never remember what the 4th C is?
Anyway, my job and my emotions were pretty much rock bottom before Uvaro. Now that chapter has ended. The new chapter unfolds to a new job in the metaverse, more time with my puppies, and more dedication to my life's passion, which is Pickleball.
Find what motivates you and make a deal with yourself! Uvaro will be your Fearless Leader, but you have to be willing to...

Yesterday I made an application to the Uvaro Tech Sales School. I had been choosing between Uvaro and Vendition and have chosen Uvaro because I didn't fully understand the application process in Vendition. Uvaro offered a more flexible program which suits my timetable more. I had to pass the online test, which checked out my skills in sales. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to fill in, questions were well-formulated. Now I am waiting for the info session, which will be held in a couple of days. After that, there will be a zoom call to complete the registration process. Hope that all will pass without any problems. -

Wow what an amazing journey Uvaro has been! There are plenty of tech sales bootcamps out there but don't be fooled. I did my research and always saw myself coming back to Uvaro as my decision. You can find many places to teach you tech sales but ONLY Uvaro will do that and help you grow as an individual. As a Uvaro Grad, I'm so glad I picked them! My instructor was holding my hand pointing me in the right path since day 1. If you're willing to put in a little effort, the teachers will give me double that effort and you will see yourself learn, growth, and excel in this career. They also have an amazing post graduation program, where you aren't forgotten after the end of the course. They truly want to see you succeed and will put in the time and effort. -

I was part of the 2020-November cohort with Sheila as my instructor.
I came from a more experienced background but the curriculum feel very comprehensible and assessible. What's more important is that most of the topics covered proved to incredibly helpful and relevant during my job search and interview process.
Sheila is nothing short of amazing on her domain knowledge and truly showed that she cared for the success of her students. So does the Uvaro's support team.
The Uvaro community and friends I made throughout the class were incredibly helpful and trust-worthy. I can't ask for a better network starting out in tech sales.
Thanks to these and their job assistance project, I have landed several interviews and offers. Glad I enrolled and completed the program.
110% would recommend! -

If you're anything like me, you're looking at this page right now trying to decide if you should join or not. Because that's what I did. I scoured this website (more than once!) for signs - is this right for me, right now?
All I can say that it is, for me, it was worth it.
As someone who used to work in the hospitality industry, joining a boot camp during a global pandemic that truly prepares you for a role that's actually in demand, is no small feat. But tech sales roles are booming right now, when a lot of other industries are not, and a short but sweet 3-month online class at Uvaro was more than enough to help me enter the job market with more knowledge and confidence than I would have, otherwise.
Would I have gotten any SDR interviews with companies without graduating from Uvaro? Probably. But I certainly got a lot more opportunities because of everything that I learnt there, including not just how to prospect and run discovery calls with future clients, but how to also apply those learnings to my own job search.
Overall, Uvaro was a solid investment in my future / sales career and that's a testament to all of the fantastic people I met along the way. From a down-to-earth instructor who has walked the talk, to a bright and bubbly career coach who truly cares about you / your success, to the executive team who always feels like just one slack message away, Uvaro has chosen the right people to help coax you out of your comfort zone and into a future sales career. -

When I was first researching educational programs, I was a little hesitant about Uvaro, there are so many fly-by-night outfits out there, and so didn’t want to wind up investing myself in something that turned out to be tantamount to Trump Academy. But the enrollment person I spoke with was very kind and low pressure, which made me feel better. I figured I would scope it out and just withdraw if it felt like they were more interested in money than us students. Literally the second day in, and I’d committed to the full course. The teachers are great (I’ve had a teacher from a completely different cohort connect with me just to see if he could help with a job interview — an interview with someone who reached out to me solely because of the suggestions given by Uvaro and from having Uvaro now on my resume). The CEO himself is extremely approachable and ready to help out, as the whole team is. Everyone who works here, from teachers to other staff, is really approachable, passionate about learning and helping, and willing to do what it takes to get you where YOU want to go, not where they can find a place for you that would be best for their brand/bottom line. They also make sure to create a great culture with the students they offer enrollment to (and to prove they’re not “one of those” places, they actually have pretty competitive enrollment and if you don’t participate, you will be removed from your cohort).
And there’s no loss, unless you don’t put in the work yourself, which is on you. You don’t pay tuition unless you get a good paying job after you complete the program, showing their value yet again — they wouldn’t make that commitment to us unless they were confident that they could achieve that with at least the majority of us. I couldn’t have nicer things to say about the school, teachers, students, CEO, internship program, etc., etc., In fact, I already know this review is too long, but I’m still editing myself from saying more. I literally cannot think of one negative thing to say about the program or experience I’ve had here. Do yourself a favor, and if you’re even considering joining, reach out to them. You won’t regret it for a second.Sarah of Uvaro

Coming from an HR background with no real knowledge about Tech sales was nerve-wracking for me when I initially chose to pursue a 12-week tech sales course at Uvaro. But now I can certainly say that it was the correct decision.
I joined Uvaro intending to transition from HR into the HR tech sales industry and I am confident when I say that I am heading in the right direction with the help of team Uvaro.
The coursework is designed in such a way that it gives you a comprehensive knowledge of tech sales theory along with the practical skills, that you apply throughout the course duration with the help of projects, role plays, demos and so much more. It's an overwhelming experience at the beginning, as you learn new tech terms and information, but it certainly sets you up for progress later in coursework.
Another incredible thing I like about Uvaro is, they introduce students with different tech sales industry leaders , throughout the coursework that help students to make a quick and meaningful connection with them as well as learn from their experience and expertise, which otherwise is not easy task to do on your own.
Uvaro also offers a career coaching platform, that assists with building your resume, cover letters , LinkedIn profile etc. as well as preparing you up for interviews and introducing you to the potential employers, which is very helpful and valuable.
The team at Uvaro - sheila, Joseph, Donna, Hana, Sarah and everyone else are very supportive and always encouraging and help you to grow. Additionally I've an opportunity to meet some great students and peers during this course and I am excited to see where this tech sales journey takes me next in my career.Sarah of Uvaro

For most people, transitioning into a technical sales position from a non-technical position is usually quite difficult. It requires both soft and hard skills, deep product knowledge (if you don’t want to sound stupid on a demo with the CTO of a big company) and crazy perseverance, hence the extreme demand. I myself was in that situation, trying to make the transition. I can definitely say Uvaro has been a huge help in this process. I was already a BDR when I realized I needed to take a step back, expand my knowledge in the tech industry, then come back bulletproof. What I didn’t know was that Uvaro was actually quite a bit more than that. It’s a full circle tech sales accelerator that will not only improve your familiarity with technology, but also improve your overall ability as a salesperson.Sarah of Uvaro

Thanks for sharing these insights - I'm sure your experience resonates with other folks who have held sales roles in other industries and want to break into tech! Your ability to apply the skills you learned prior to the course to tech sales specifically, as well as reflect on the skills that need improvement, has been mega. Keep up the awesome work.
Can't wait to see where this journey takes you. Thanks again for sharing, Daniel! -

BIGGEST WASTE EVER
Read more Read less of Anonymous's review
They lie about their program. If you don’t get a job despite the fact that they say you don’t have to repay the amount for school if that happens they’ll still harass you about it, or send debt collectors to harass you. That will do illegal searches to find out other information about you that you don’t give to them or that you didn’t give to them. Their teams are unreliable, you can’t get in to speak with an instructor in a timely manner because they don’t allocate resources properly. Don’t waste your time or money. Find somewhere else to learn these skills. -

Learned a lot about the tech sale world.
When I first started in this class I was kind of intimated by the world of tech sales but as i learned more about the classmates and what I was doing I grew more confident but I still have a lot to learn about this world. So I am very grateful for my instructors at Uvaro. -

Save your money and just utilize free online resources. Enrolled in the course and it just wasn't worth it. On top of this, they stopped offering placement opportunities to help gain real world experience (especially useful if you're Canadian and with how difficult it is to find a job here). This was the sole reason I signed up and now told it isn't happening. I feel scammed. I am now stuck paying a grossly expensive tuition over the course of 2 years for something that gives me no competitive edge and that I will no longer bother pursuing. If I could rewind time so that I wouldn't have wasted my money, I would. Ignore the positive reviews and stay far away.Kim Jarencio of Uvaro

Great 4 Week Course

I took the 4-week course, it was great! James, the instructor is absolutely amazing and super helpful. He made the class engaging, fun but also provided so much information. The 4-week course was a bit overwhelming because it is so much information in a short time. However, as the course goes on it becomes more simple and in the end, it all ties in together. There are a lot of instructors in Uvaro that are there to help you. Sheila is another AMAZING instructor as well! I am happy with Uvaro, it has prepared me for a career in Tech Sales. -

I don't even know where to begin! These past 12 weeks have been so rewarding to say the least. Before I even decided to officially enroll in the course, I did a little bit of a deep-dive into the CEO - Joseph Fung. Why? Because without the right CEO, a company will get nowhere. I saw a few videos on YouTube, and one thing that immediately came to mind was how engaged he was with students--not necessarily in a way that says he needed to be present all the time (since CEOs are obviously super busy)--but what that tells me is that he has a solid grasp of how things work at a fundamental level.
Some of the best leaders I know (both in and out of work) are NOT AFRAID to "get their hands dirty". They see a problem and they get down to the source, instead of just hiding behind a desk trying to look busy. They also listen to their employees/people. Needless to say, after a few interviews, I was able to conclude that he in fact, knew his stuff.
It then becomes a trickle down effect... the instructors and career coaches I've had the opportunity to connect with in Uvaro was the ICING ON TOP. I've never met such an incredible group of selfless thought-leaders. It's not a surprise to me when I hear about Uvaro graduates just CRUSHING it post-grad because this is what happens when students are equipped with the right fundamentals.
