The TrueCoders experience is truly incredible. It is by far the best programming course I have ever taken! After nine weeks of helpful Instructors/TA's, excellent course material, and hard work, it is no joke that I am already making websites and much more! The job help in this course is amazing. No other course that I have heard of has what Denise(Director of Career Services) has to offer... I'm serious! Thank you, John, Michael, Cruz, Miah, Andrea, Morgan, Denise, and Monica for all of your valuable time! -

I took the Full-Stack Software Engineering Day Course, and I am amazed at how much we learned in only 9 weeks. TrueCoders was definitely worth the time and money. I am walking away with the confidence that I can go get a job as a Software Engineer. You will need to put in hard work, but they do a great job of guiding you with a great learning flow/structure and progressively more difficult lessons. If you are interested in Software Engineering, TrueCoders is the way to go! -

This bootcamp taught me so much! When I was first going to join, I was not sure if it would be too hard something would happen but everything is GREAT!!! The prices are low and the bootcamp is only 9 weeks! I learned so much and I am very thankful that TrueCoders could help me :) -

TrueCoders far surpassed my expectations for what I thought I would learn in the class. I signed up for the full-time 9 week Software Engineering class. I was completely new to software engineering and by the end of my 9 weeks I felt ready to go start applying for jobs. This bootcamp prepares you both for the actual work you will be doing and for the career/job hunt side. Each week their amazing and energetic career services lady, Denise, comes into the class and goes over how to build a great resume, LinkedIn, and what else you need to do to promote yourself so you can find a job. She also offers one-on-ones to help you as well. You have class from 9-3 CST each day where the teacher lectures over zoom for part of the day and then you work on your assignments/projects with the teacher and TAs around to help answer any questions. They record the lesson so you can rewatch it if necessary. The entire company wants you to succeed. Each week they ask for a review and the president reached out to address my concerns one of the weeks. They are also there for you after graduation to help as needed. To fully succeed and get everything done inside the 9 weeks be prepared to spend extra time outside of class hours. I am so glad I took this class and would highly recommend it! -

When I started this course, I thought it would be very overwhelming, and I was not sure if I would succeed in learning to code. TrueCoders did their job, and in the end, this course was terrific, and I learned everything needed to keep going in the coding world! -

My expectations of a coding bootcamp were far exceeded by TrueCoders. I expected the in-depth web development material to be taught. I was surprised and extremely pleased with the all the extra help. The one-on-one help and the true interest of the instructors to make you successful are impressive. The course I completed was taught by Ben Bryant who has a real talent for teaching. He not only explains the information well, but he also has a gift of being able to see how the student is learning and provide extra assistance in helping that student to fully understand the problem and solution.
I was concerned about that the course was being taught online. My concern was eliminated immediately. There is much interaction. I also appreciate that the classes are recorded. If you miss something or didn’t understand it the first time, you can access that portion again and again.
In addition to the lead instructor and assistants being super helpful, the entire staff of TrueCoders is interested and invested in your success. The career services department met with the class once a week and provided expert knowledge of how to use the knowledge gained to actually get you moving in the right direction for a career. -

When I started this bootcamp I didn't really know what I was getting myself into, I only has a little bit on knowledge in HTML and CSS. I was convinced by a couple of my friends in the industry that I would be a good fit for the for coding because I was also getting into UX/UI Design. When I joined this bootcamp was intense starting from day one. It's a rigorous curriculum and it requires tunnel vision, commitment, and perseverance. Be prepared to work hard every day from Mon - Fri for the 9 weeks and time flies. The instructors are amazing with access to 1 on 1 meetings if you need assistance with anything. Putting in the effort and time you will have great starting point for your future career as a developer.
Once I completed the TrueCoders Full Stack Web Development course I came out very knowledgeable in Git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, SQL, and Node. When I started this bootcamp I had no idea it would change my life. Just put in the work and the rest will happen and in no time, you will be a developer. I just wanted to thank TrueCoders again and I would recommend this bootcamp to anybody that is interested in breaking into the industry you won’t regret it. -

I joined TrueCoders after leaving my job to pursue another one that would be meaningful in the long run. Coming to the program without back-end knowledge was daunting at first, but it soon became enjoyable after digesting information with instructors' lectures, videos, and 1-1 sessions. I also really liked the fact that there were more than one instructor per class ready to answer questions along the way, which made the students feel at ease when wanting to tackle ambiguities.
One area that I believe could be improved is career services. Most of the information given addressed how to "search" for jobs, but they did not address how to "stand out" among other competitors. Examples include how to setup a portfolio to showcase projects, how to build on and strengthen the skills that are desirable to employers (i.e. recommendation of materials/sites that can be utilized after graduation), and what different things can be done if the job application process takes too long. Keep on learning, applying, and connecting was too vague of an advice and did not provide a pragmatic perspective. -

"Bootcamp" is really the right word for it. It was a brutal 9-week period not for the faint of heart. As they tell you when you start, putting in extra time is really how you'll succeed and those that do are who the course is geared for. Everyday was a mental workout that really kept me on a pace I wouldn't have been able to hold myself accountable to had I gone the self-taught route. Ben, our instructor, along with the teacher's assistants were incredibly knowledgeable and committed to each individual's success. They seem to polymorph with ease as professor, coach, and mental personal trainer. Really glad I made the choice to go with TrueCoders. The bang for your buck is really impressive when considering the ongoing support they offer, job assistance, and an initial network many of us don't have being new to the industry.
Thinking back at when I was reading reviews on this very site, which led me to TrueCoders, there's a few things I would want to know:
First off... It's going to be harder than you think. Period.
It's a rigorous curriculum and a heavy workload no matter how smart or hardworking you are. In a perfect world, the course would be a week or two longer. But in reality, it would probably make it difficult for them to keep it so affordable, and you're probably eyeing TrueCoders for both its competitive price and the shorter time commitment when compared to a 6-month bootcamp. I took a free sample course at Alchemy before starting this course, and it really gave me a leg up. Theirs was particularly great but I would really suggest taking advantage of something in that vein to give you both prep and preview.
Secondly, most people are not going to have a job lined up right after they graduate. This isn't specific to TrueCoders. As you may know, programming is a highly sought after and highly compensated skillset. However, getting your first job may be a slog, so do your research and budget accordingly. At the end of the program, you'll have all the tools you need to build on. Some will want to pursue internships, others entry level developers. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing. TrueCoders was a perfect launching pad into the industry. -

Going into this program I barely knew what HTML was. I was told by several experienced developers that they thought I would be a good fit for Web Dev. I am very glad I picked TrueCoders, they have taught me a ton in a very short amount of time. Be prepared for a whirlwind of 2 months of hard study. The instruction is amazing, and if you put in the effort and time you will be rewarded with a great starting place for your future career.
I came out of this with a good foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js. The career services portion is very useful too, just do it. Knowing that I have permanent access to all my sessions, material, and instructors as an Alumni is very comforting. Had a blast learning alongside my fellow classmates as well. -

After checking out a variety of bootcamps, I am so glad I chose TrueCoders! The instructors created a great learning environment and were very patient throughout the 9 weeks. In addition, the program offers a Career Service session each week to help students gear up for the interview process! 1:1 sessions with instructors and Career Services were readily available to provide assistance even outside of class time. -

Great experience from start to finish! Found TrueCoders by them Sponsoring a YouTube video. Great material coverage for just 9 weeks. I went through the Full Stack Software Engineering Day Course. All of the instructors were very nice, and understanding. They would adjust their teaching technique to fit every student's learning style which was great if you felt you didn't understand something during the lessons and exercises. -

I thoroughly investigated the plethora of coding bootcamps available on the market before deciding TrueCoders was the one for me. From the very first day of class, it was unequivocally clear that I made the right choice. The TrueCoders Full-Stack Web Development program is a robust 9-week intensive course through which I acquired a highly desirable technical skill set, and I had minimal (read: basically zero) prior coding experience. Now I have what it takes to successfully join the workforce as an IT professional -- and I can do so with confidence, knowing I'll be able to keep up with and make equally valuable contributions as any colleagues who earned four-year degrees in a similar field of study.
In terms of intensity, the Full Stack Web Development course is indeed a bootcamp. It requires commitment and dedication. If you are willing to show up and work hard, you will quickly discover the same joy I found in my own learning process. At the end of your course, you will wonder how 9 weeks seemed to pass by so quickly. Time flies when you are engaged in a beautiful and enriching process of self-improvement!
The entire TrueCoders staff is outstanding. You will meet warm and welcoming administrators who answer every question and prepare you for a life-changing academic experience. You will interact with extremely gifted and talented instructors who lead the magic of the classes and patiently guide you through any challenge you might encounter along the way. You will be inspired by the one-of-a-kind director of career services who provides sunshine and encouragement on a daily basis, and you will stand in respectful awe of the brilliant man whose visionary thinking launched the whole remarkable enterprise. You will also learn valuable networking skills as you establish friendships with fellow students that are personally and professionally rewarding.
TrueCoders coding bootcamps, both Web Development and Software Engineering, are the real deal. You will learn front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) languages and receive plenty of hands-on training, working with databases, libraries, platforms, and frameworks, as you create your own applications and projects. You will feel genuine elation and a proud sense of accomplishment every time you see the code you've written suddenly come to life on the monitor.
You won't find a better educational opportunity anywhere else. The tuition is competitively priced, there are a variety of financing options, and the elegant curriculum is top-notch. The instructors regularly stayed well beyond the end of class for us, and they were always willing to provide individually-tailored, 1-on-1 instruction. Same with the administrative staff, director of career services, and the President/Owner/C.E.O., too. Whatever you need, all you have to do is ask, and they will go the distance to support you, so that you feel valued and are truly set up for success.
I started out at TrueCoders looking for a career change; I had no idea how profoundly this program would change my life for the better. Every person I have met at TrueCoders holds a special place in my heart, and I consider each and every one of them to be a part of my extended family. -

I came to TrueCoders after developing serious anxiety about people, to learn the coding background I would need for a career in C#, Html, and a hint of JavaScript! I signed up for the Full Stack Software Engineering Bootcamp live class, which lasted 9 weeks from start to end. This class was entirely online, and I chose it because I needed the live support while learning the material. The class did not disappoint. I got 1-on-1 help whenever I needed it, and the other students in the class, as well as the faculty, were very encouraging. They also go over your resume and give you pointers on job interview questions and techniques. I feel like Iearned a lot in this class and would recommend it to anyone looking to seriously take the next step in becoming a professional coder. -

I researched bootcamps for what seemed like forever when I decided to leave restaurant management after 18+ years, for a chance at having a better work-life balance. Just when I thought it just wasn't possible to find something that took less than 6 months to a year, online, affordable, flexible AND full-stack...I found TrueCoders. They provide an affordable online full-stack curriculum for both web developers and software developers, with the option of a 9-week full-time course or a flex option where you can go at your own pace. The best part about either of those options is that you are provided the same resources regardless. You have access to all the instructors, teaching assistants, students in your cohort, past alumni, career services, 1-on-1 appointments through their respective discord channels as well as all the course work, documentation, and past recorded training videos, exercise videos, class sessions and career services talks via their online student portal. And a huge bonus is that you will have access to these resources F-O-R-E-V-E-R! There was never a time where help wasn't available to me when I needed it. Honestly, I can't recommend TrueCoders enough and I'm certain there's many more positives and benefits than what I've already stated. Check out another review below by one of my classmates, Nancy Lee, for more insight and validity to my support for this course. The most useful thing I can say is whether you're fresh or seasoned, you'll come out better in the end with TrueCoders. -

True coders have been really good to me, the pace is fast but you have access to a number of TA's and teachers at most times of the day. If the pace is too fast they are willing to move you to a flex program where just as much help is given. The biggest boon is even after you have compleated the course you are welcome and encouraged to stay on their discord and access to the lesson portal! They have wonderful help with job placement and getting you ready for the application process!

Before committing to TrueCoders as a bootcamp, I took awhile scouting other bootcamps and speaking with their counselors. I ended up choosing TrueCoders and I am definitely glad I did! They offer an affordable 9-week course for both Full Time Software Engineering or Software Development - as well as flex courses for those who work or have a busy life schedule. I decided to quit my job and go for the 9-week Full Time Software Engineering course. The biggest decision for me was that I did not want to be 'away from the job market' for 6+ months like the other bootcamp courses. I can say that in the end, 9 weeks was enough for me to gain the knowledge I needed to be confident that I am a sprouting Software Engineer! Their courses were very thorough and each module helped me understand how to apply coding along with various options on how to solve exercises.
I highly recommend TrueCoders for a number of reasons to anyone whether you are changing your career paths or starting one! I initially thought I'd be intimidated taking courses with possible other students/teachers who already had coding knowledge and that I'd be far behind. However, they go through the basics and provided pre-course work to get yourself familiar with the concepts. Our instructor, John, was a C# guru and really knew his stuff, he was also patient, fun, and cool - he always made time for us during class and afterwards to address any of our questions. We also had 3 Teacher's Assistants for a class size of roughly 25. That means PLENTY of one-on-one time during lectures, and afterwards too.
I did not feel like I ever fell behind from all the help they provided. Students can also schedule 1-on-1's with other teachers too! There is always someone who can help. Every teacher is willing to take his time to answer your questions and provides special care and attention to EACH student! What company does that!
Every week we also had our Career Services coach, Denise, meet with us to provide much needed guidance on helping us set ourselves up to find that dream job and pass that interview. We need a daily dose of Denise - she's one of the most enthusiastic and charismatic person you'd ever meet! Always leaves your cheeks cramped from smiling/laughing.
The course curriculum is organized very well and each lesson has great and challenging exercises. The coursework is just right, not too overwhelming nor too light. I didn't feel like I was burning myself out while cramming in a ton of info in a short amount of time. What makes TrueCoders stand out from the rest is their attention to providing one-on-one help to their students. It's not just a lecture and goodbye. Give it a try and be off to the next chapter of your career - you won't be disappointed!

Jeremy was my instructor as well as all the TA, Andrea, Amoriss, and Morgan are very kind and patient. I have never exposed myself to coding before the class so its not gonna be easy. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And I believe you will too with all the genuine supports provided, but of course you have to put the work into it. The option to be able to retake the class is a plus especially for me, a mom of a 7 months old and a 4 years old who hasn't start school.
Oh I almost forgot about Denise, the career services director!! I think she is one of the great value to the TrueCoders. She is one of the most Genuine, caring persons who is sincerely and may hurt u a little enough only for your own sake and waking you up to keep going for your goal. I so appreciate her.

I highly recommend TrueCoders to anyone looking at coding bootcamps. My biggest piece of advice for future students is that you will only get out what you put into it, so expect to put in study/practice hours outside of class. One of the reasons I chose TrueCoders was because of the shorter timeframe compared to other bootcamps (9 weeks full time), but the biggest disadvantage to that is the speed at which the class moves. Looking back at just a couple of months ago it is crazy how much I have learned, and I thank TrueCoders for pushing me and helping me gain that knowledge! -

Came into the course with no prior knowledge of coding and now I have a better understanding of it. TrueCoders also help with mock interviews, LinkedIn, GitHub, and how to build your resume. The only complaint I have is that my class did skip over JavaScript. -

I did an enormous amount of research in coding camps. I taught high school for almost 10 years and was looking to make a career change and a friend of mine told me about his experience with TrueCoders. I looked into it and then explored many other options because, if I'm going to leave a career with solid job security, I want to know my chances of success. After about 4 months of research, I decided to take the plunge. I haven't regretted it for a single moment, since. The instructors (I had Jeremy) and the TA's (I had Andrea and Morgan) have been outstanding. As a previous educator, I know what makes or breaks a good teacher and Jeremy fits the bill as a fine educator. The other perks of TrueCoders, such as the career services program, are equally as wonderful. Most other programs don't even offer career services. If you are an established professional in another field seeking a change like I was, then you should rest easy putting your faith in TrueCoders. They will help you get the job done. -

As someone who has never done any sort of programming before this course, I can't recommend TrueCoders highly enough. You start from the very beginning alongside everyone, no matter your prior skillset. This was one of the things that initially drew me in to TrueCoders over the other courses I was looking at. The other things that drew me in were: The cost of the course, the amount of time the course takes, the career services, the size of the program, and the amount of hours required in a week.
TrueCoders costs at least $4,000 less than the other programs I had been considering. They also offer many different kinds of financing options, which was so helpful for me! It made me feel more confident in my ability to take this full time course and spend my time only doing the course and not working.
The full time courses for TrueCoders are 9 weeks long, which was the shortest amount I had seen among other courses. That definitely drew me in, because I knew it could launch me into a new career that much sooner than somewhere else. And on that note, I am so grateful for the career services department at TrueCoders! Right away on week one you get a lecture with Denise, the head of their career services. Then each week after that there is a set aside time for a lecture with her. You can also easily schedule one on one time with her as much as you want and need and I suggest you do!
My Web Development class size was about 12 people, which made for a lot more personalized feel. Our instructor knew each of us well and was able to take time to answer our questions without it feeling like we were interrupting the lecture.
I also really love TrueCoders because of their availability to do one on ones after class hours. I really utilized those and often had more than one meeting a week! If you have a big question that you don't understand and feel like the class is moving to quickly for you, take time to schedule a meeting with your instructor. It helped me fully understand what we were learning on multiple occasions, when I had been stuck in class.
Finally, one of the top things that made me choose TrueCoders was the time it took out of my week. Class is 6 hours each day with an hour break in the middle and you are expected to study outside of class at least a couple hours on top of that. Compared to the other full time courses I was considering, this was exactly the sweet spot for me. I knew I wouldn't be able to commit more than 50 hours a week total to the course because of my own personal disabilities. Having a course say they expect about 40 hours out of you a week really helped me feel comfortable with the work load. When in the course, I never did spend more than 50 hours a week studying, and I feel that was enough for me to understand the concepts and sit and work through the problems that I needed to study.
I have loved my time at TrueCoders! I would say my only critique is the way the curriculum is set up for the full time web development course. Because it is a 9 week course, it feels like I have become a jack of all trades and can dabble in so many things, without really delving into one for a long time. We often spent only a couple days on concepts that have an expansive amount of information out there. For me, that was really rough and I do wish that we had spent more than two days on certain subjects. I think that the course would benefit from extending some of their subject matter to help us really get a grasp on certain things and get more practice in. I know that the amount of time this course is definitely drew me in, but I think extending the course to go 3 months in order to really focus more in depth on certain concepts would be helpful for our confidence in moving forward.
That being said, overall I couldn't recommend TrueCoders enough! It's an amazing course and feels so personalized. I am at home with both my fellow students in the class and with our instructor. I know that taking this course has changed my life and I can't wait to move forward with my new knowledge! -
