The University of Texas at Austin Bootcamps by QuickStart

Hello Everyone, I did sign up for “AIML” online course with “ University of Texas at Austin” last year Aug’2023 couldn’t believe myself that I travelled this far on a thrilled roller coaster ride with lot of challenges on the way this AIML course been structured.Team did a very good job in putting this course content together. It’s started off with very fundamentals then increased its complexity bit more on every topic. Since, I came from “Business background”,  i really like the way they incorporated “business case studies” on each topic on the course content, it helped a lot to connect with real world business scenarios. Professors and teaching staff made very good effort in explaining all the aspect of the topic during weekly “MLS sessions”  to clarify all our questions before we move forward with other topics. What I have learned please don’t hesitate ask questions during the sessions or after. And our batch is filled with experts who came from various industrial background where they brought their own insights towards case study it helped our batch a lot to understand how different companies are thinking to infuse AI into their business processes as needs.

There are lot of seminars get conducted by Great Learning team during the duration of the course to show case the  Career services and employability.  Since, I am doing this course as a part time, usually spent about minimum 4 – 8 hours a week because it took time for me to understand and grasp the concepts before approaching weekly exams and monthly projects on each topic. I did struggle a lot during the course but supporting group community, Technical teams and teaching staff helped me a lot as needed.

I am very passion about some of the topics like process automation, neural network and Artificial Intelligent which I came across during my bachelor’s degree but it’s more of theoretical back then and now I see most of them on our day-to-day life. examples: Driverless car , Speed control , Car-Distant control, Car-Lane control, IOT,  Chat GPT , etc which drawn me toward this AIML course to learn depth of it to see how we can make this “AI Integrate with business applications” efficiently which most of ERP companies are doing it already part of their “Product portfolio” by “AI Infusion into Business Processes” using Generative AI. One thing I would highly recommend for the folks who is really interested on this AIML coarse is that , just be prepared to spend some time to do homework on weekly basis on the module topics that get covered each week before approaching the “weekly Exams” that really have an impact to Score and grades which helps evaluate yourself on how much we understood about the concepts.

There are cases where AIML Python notebook, supporting “load file” had some errors and mismatch but supporting team is always on top of things to address them in timely manner. 
When I signed up for the program,  I had an issue with “GL Program Sales Team” where I been promised refund “referral program fee” but no responded by email or phone call which I was bit disappointed about the “GL Program Sales Team” and the way handled my case but then later I came to know that responsibility of handling my case been shifted to “Program manager team” which I was not aware of it earlier so, I felt that “GL Program Sales Team” could have handled my case it more responsive way rather than. 

But overall as we understand all the industries either planning or implementing the process of “Infusing AI” on to their business processes, I felt that the amount of knowledge we are getting from this “AIML course” vs what we pay is worth of money for sure.

Enrolling in the AI Leadership certification course has been a transformative experience that has significantly enhanced my understanding of this dynamic and rapidly evolving field. The comprehensive curriculum provided a deep dive into fundamental concepts like how to leverage AI in the modern business landscape, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and NLP, equipping me with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of AI. Practical hands-on projects further solidified my skills, allowing me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. This newfound expertise has not only bolstered my confidence in leveraging AI technologies but has also positioned me as a valuable asset in my professional journey.  I have aspirations to continue growing my career in leadership.  My hope is that this certification will help me get there, becoming a cornerstone, that will empower me to lead teams and make informed strategic decisions at the intersection of technology and business.

I’m David De Benedictis, retired Sr. Risk Analyst for Chevron. I am currently doing business and exploring opportunities in a limited range of areas. I am researching how AI can lead, make decisions, and how it uses data to make predictions without human intervention. UT’s AI program was the learning experience I needed because it exposes the student to the relevant material in the field. The class is challenging and helps students gain knowledge and experience in a structured and sequential manner. 




The Great Learning application is useful and easy to use. The support provided by the Program Manager was outstanding, a combination of rigor and gentle handling of issues and people. I am very satisfied with how I was treated, and my problems resolved. There is an understanding that people work but also of maintaining a high-level instruction. 




The Professors are very knowledgeable and highly qualified instructors who are part of UT’s exceptional program. I learned a high-level conceptual understanding of AI, how it’s structured, and how it works. The Introduction to Python was very relevant to me, I was able to understand the power of this language and how useful it can be. The importance of data and managing prediction as a separate element. The statistical bases underneath the theory and practice and the creation of AI models based on reality and on testing and training the model against that reality. 




The classes were organized in self-learning mode, with material for visual and auditory learners with direct contact with teachers and fellow students to expand the material and/or answer any questions. If still in doubt, I could always contact Program Support for assistance and a solution. 




I recommend UT’s extraordinary AI Program because it teaches you the immense power AI can offer. It is worth it if we need to stay relevant in today’s highly evolving technology landscape. 

In my experience so far, this program is amazing. The content and the structure of the course is properly created to help anyone with beginner or expert knowledge to feel like they are learning and that they are succeeding. I did not know where to start with learning about computer programming to use it for hands-on experience and this course was able to fulfill my desire to learn at a good pace. 

The pace of learning is super important for me because I struggle with some learning challenges. The program manager Sakshi Sharma worked with me on my schedule every week so I had enough time to absorb the information and keep up with the rest of the students in the program. Anytime I had an issue or needed assistance, I would reach out to Sakshi and she would be very responsive in a timely manner. It was great to work with her because she was patient and took the time to understand my needs. 

My mentor Niruppam was really good because he had a deep knowledge with these materials and took the time to explain the background of everything so it was helpful when it came to using this knowledge for the hands-on learning materials and projects. He would encourage the students to participate during the lectures and would make sure to answer everyone's questions to clear any confusion.

I just completed the Post-Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, held jointly by The University of Texas, Austin, and Great Learning. 

Each of the Faculty is state-of-the-art, highly credentialed, almost wizardly in technical and professional excellence,  and the very best in class. 

Similarly, each of the weekend class facilitators, is absolutely hands-on, most carefully hand-picked/chosen, based on the course, and each is a to-go, hands-on expert, from one or the other of the very best clients, in this upcoming, niche, state-of-the-art discipline, and has very deep experience and knowledge, which he or she readily brings forth and shares to the class, in a highly open and interactive manner. 

Similarly, the Program officials are tireless, dedicated and expert facilitators, who will go every extra-mile, as needed, with any issue or requirement fulfillment, forthwith, and without fail. 

The course design and curriculum are best in class and covers AI&ML comprehensively, giving a very deep dive and hands-on, which boosts participants’ self-confidence, even as they go through the program, in perpetual kaizen mode, each day.

It covers Python Foundations, foundational Statistics and prerequisites, before offering a hands-on deep dive in Machine Learning, Advanced Machine Learning, Introduction to Computer Vision, Introduction to Natural Language Processing, and Introduction to Neural Networks, with a high code or low code option to complete assignments, based on individual appetite.

I recently had the privilege of participating in the Product Management Bootcamp, and I am compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. This program has been nothing short of transformative, equipping me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the dynamic field of product management.
From day one, the curriculum was meticulously designed, covering a comprehensive range of topics crucial to effective product management. The instructors were seasoned industry professionals, providing invaluable insights and real-world examples that brought the concepts to life. The intriguing part about the UT coding camp was their confidence that they will near guarantee that land you a full stack development job after taking this course. Turns out they just have a decent sales and marketing team. In reality, the course is a chaotic and jam packed zoom call that fails to stay up to date with the current economic state within the world of technology. 
As someone with little to no tech background besides a stint in tech sales,  I knew that this would be a challenging quest and that patience would also have to be practiced when applying and searching for full stack development jobs. Yet, the entirety of the class was expecting to be fully employed within 30-90 days of completing the course, especially the classmates who had previously been in tech project management and other facets of web design/programming. As of this review, 5 months after the completion of this course, only 3/30+ classmates have successfully entered the web developing industry. 
While the tech world around was adapting to AI and it's impact on the tech world, UT's bootcamp instructors were claiming it'd barely have an impact, while Tech leaders were claiming half of programming jobs will be replaced in 5 years with AI. 
Also, I completed 5 of the final activities just using chatGPT and redid my initial entires as a test to see how well chatGPT could instruct and help create/build a basis of understanding for what was being programmed. This was completed in 3 days. Literally everything that the course claims to teach you can literally be learned in less than a weak from ChatGPT. 

INDIA CHEATS. Please check the company where it is based? - INDIA and the offices in singapore. Worst learning site. Do not ever register. Worst support. if you have any problem, you have to be awake all night to get support from india site. Once they get the money from you, they do not respond properly.

All the portal - is nothing but a show. Materials are all outdated. Lab exercise wont work correctly.

The Great learning portal is horrible. they post videos on the site and even if you complete it, it would says "No completed" got tired of complaining to the program executive. And they reply back saying "you have to be proactive as you have watched only 54.7% of videos. How dare they lie. They have a bugg software and the metrics they compute is based on this buggy software. ALl the materials are old. Full of cheats. I agree with others who had given a bad review. Not even worth 1 star. All the 5 star reviews are fake and cannot be trusted. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this learning site please.

I have a filed a complaint with the Attorney general office. I would request everyone to file a complaint with the AG office in your state.

I was really excited about the UX/UI Bootcamp at the University of Texas Austin. I thought a bootcamp hosted by such a prestigious college for nearly $13,000 was sure to be a great decision. Early on, however, I was extremely disappointed. They chose a teacher who clearly did not have any background or experience in the world of teaching. You would think an education institution would understand that just because someone is highly skilled in an industry, does not mean they are a good teacher. While presenting, the teacher would pause and take a moment to read the slides revealing that they never did any preparation for the class whatsoever. There were many times that I would learn crucial information weeks (sometimes months!) after completing various projects resulting in having to re-do some of my portfolio pieces--the main marketing attraction for the bootcamp overall. I tried reaching out to admin about my concerns, yet there was no response for weeks on end. Not only was the teaching aspect utterly lacking, but the lack of professionalism was a complete shock. There were multiple times (about 3 or 4) where the instructor said the R word during live/recorded sessions. I'm appalled. I was so excited to learn about something that genuinely intrigued me. Unfortunately, this program is not taken seriously by the instructors or the admin. If you are serious about the world of UX and UI, look elsewhere.
