Great learning experience
The classes so far have been thoughtfully planned and developed to make the learning process enjoyable. The topics are presented in a logical order that builds progressively but allows for someone to set their own pace effectively. I'm looking forward to the rest of the classes. -

Skillcrush is a well thought out program for learning to code. It is very accessible for those new to coding and the classes are fun and keep you motivated. The way it is structured makes learning to code not as overwhelming as it could be. Each part of the process is explained well and students are given relevant exercises to practice any new skills. Projects towards the end of each course bring all the learning together and provide a sense of accomplishment. There is a lot of support within the lessons but also from tutors and the Skillcrush student community. The online learning environment also makes very flexible. I would highly recommend this course for those looking to study coding. -

Well worth every penny
Skillcrush has given me a new path in life and I feel 18 again! After raising my children, I was lost and they have given me a new career path and I look forward to each lesson. The lessons are simple enough for a newcomer like me to understand, the quizzes are fun and challenging without being too difficult. They have the best teaching method for an online program that I’ve ever used. -

Skillcrush has been nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, I felt like I was in good hands. It was pretty scary hoping into learning a new skill and Skillcrush has helped me to grasp on to new skills pretty easily AND all of the course materials have been extremely helpful. I can honestly say that I’m learning new skills and retaining the information. I would definitely recommend Skillcrush in the future! -

This course is wonderful! Skillcrush is excellent at making potential students feel welcome. The course is easy to navigate, highly informative, fun, and there are plenty of hands on exercises. The community is also fantastic and diverse. Instructors are easily accessible, knowledgeable, and are always willing to help. I highly recommend this course to any and all that are looking to break into tech! -

Great learning experience
So far I have been learning a lot when it comes to HTML and CSS. There is a lot to learn and it takes patience as there’s a lot to learn but Skillcrush makes things quite wonderful in terms of teaching you how to build a website. So far I have learned a lot as I’ve done two project websites as of this day in writing this review. -

Skillcrush is a very user/student friendly course school. They take their time in teaching and have lots of practical challenges to go with every lesson. There is also a good student = teacher relation, where you can ask any question concerning a lesson and you are rest assured that you will get a quick response.
I like the teaching method a lot because it make the student really gets involved, and it breeds confidence in the student.
I will recommend it anyway anywhere! -

Learning new skills can be challenging, especially skills in an area you know nothing about. The team over at Skillcrush puts students' minds at ease and encourages them to take the first step! Transitioning into tech, for some folks can be an intimidating endeavor. However, at Skillcrush, I've been able to progress through the course work in a strategic and self-paced manner. This was made possible through the support and encouragement that I receive from the Skillcrush staff and community! -

The classes are challenging in more ways than one, as it is not just the new language you learn, but it is also about time management, vision and creativity. When I feel lost in technical terms, Adda's jokes gives learning a funny spin that relaxes you and helps taking the pressure off. The resources are abundant, lots of other websites with further explanations and practice as well as the Slack community that is very supportive. There are one-on-one sessions with a mentor after every class completed and regular webinars about switching careers, getting into tech and tips to apply while job hunting. I opted for the Get Hire track, because, honestly, if I am left to my own devices, I would probably quit job searching from the first rejection I might get. It is reassuring to know that someone has your back throughout that ordeal.
This course has taken me out of my comfort zone, but I don't regret it especially when I see the results of my work on the screen. After years of putting myself down, I am actually starting to feel proud of myself. -

Supportive and Encouraging Start!
I am truly enjoying my time as a student in the front end development Skillcrush course. The mentors are so encouraging, I love the webinars, and the opportunities to engage with the community are wonderful. I can hardly believe what I’m able to do in just a few months time and look forward to growing more in both confidence and ability! -

Skillcrush Front-end Web Development Track
I am part way through my Front-end Web Development training and find it, while thorough and challenging, has safety nets to guide you through so you do not get stuck unable to progress. I recommend this program for anyone serious about beginning a career in tech with no previous experience. -

Skillcrush absolutely helped me gain the foundational skills of front-end web technologies at a very introductory level. Often times, these technologies can come across as confusing and/or intimidating. Skillcrush has managed to keep the material simple to understand as far as learning the basic core concepts of front-end web. The lessons & projects are not only a great help, but also made to feel very lively and fun instead of dull and dry! The calls in between lessons to meet and catch up with a mentor is one of the best things about the course in my opinion. Self-paced learning can seem a bit lonely sometimes, but between these calls and the community of students on Slack, that was not the case here!
I also was unaware that the course offered a whole section based on building up your resume, LinkedIn profile, and how to go about the job search. These were all VERY helpful and effective! I definitely learned new skills not only within the tech space, but how to go about starting a job search! I believe that without the 'Get Hired' lessons, it would have been much more difficult and taken me longer to land a job.
The only thing I will add is that while Skillcrush is an amazing bootcamp, it is also important to go out and build your own projects and watch any additional videos/read articles on concepts you may be having more trouble with. Instead of watching a tutorial on how to build something, try it on your own first. Even if the instructor explains what to do, don't see the answer with the code until you've attempted it on your own first. And don't be afraid to re-do any old projects as well to see if you can do it fully on your own!
Skillcrush is GREAT for teaching you the core foundations of web development concepts in a way that is easy to understand for someone coming into it with no knowledge at all. Don't rush through it and make sure you understand what you are doing and it will make your life much easier going forward. :) -

I completed the User Experience course recently via Skillcrush. I was drawn to skillcrush due to their compassionate approach and eagerness to help you succeed. The course layout is organized and easy to navigate. The course materials are thorough and understandable. The course could have had more hands on practice, but overall, I feel confident in the skills I learned. I am highly satisfied with my experience and will return for the Visual Design course. Happy Learning! -

I’ve learned a great deal in a short amount of time. Much of Skillcrush is hands on, with projects of HTML and CSS for you to get started with in the first few weeks of classes. The teachers are very quick to respond to emails- but be ready to put your self reliance to the test. After all- if you want confidence enough in your coding skills to impress the interviewer at your next job interview, you need to be able to do the job description and then some! -

AMAZING course. Great content and curriculum that is perfectly paced. Responsive teachers who are super helpful. And I've met graduates who have gone on to have incredibly successful careers after starting with Skillcrush. Great place to learn how to do tech even if you have absolutely no background in it. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to learn. -

In this course we learned the basics of creating a one page website. We had 22 lessons, each with 4-10 steps per lesson, so it was a great way to approach this new skill. Each lesson was bite-sized, and well explained. I had never coded anything in my life, and at the end of the course I was not only able to follow the instructions, but then created my own one-page site based on the skills I learned. Plus the instructors are amazing! They really cheer you on as you work through the course. Highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to learn at their own pace, but also have a community who are in the same boat as you are! -

I started the Break into Tech course in 2019, but was sidetracked by Covid and have now returned. Even with the few skills, I learned back then, I felt confident to begin making a much-needed career change. I was lucky enough to have signed up then. The course is a lifetime membership. Even though I signed up in 2019, with the lifetime membership I have been able to take part in any updates in the curriculum that was already part of the original course I purchased. There are tones of support from the instructors and other students. When I'm feeling discouraged, connecting with other students giving or getting feedback on class projects keeps me motivated. So far I am enjoying the course and feel it is money well-invested in myself. -

I started with Skillcrush's User Experience Design blueprint, then added on the Visual Design blueprint then ultimately invested in the Break Into Tech package. I found that the skills all built on top of one another to give me the skills and confidence I needed to apply to jobs. I came in at the perfect time to take advantage of the job guarantee which gave me personalized career coaching!
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an affordable but highly effective program that allows you to learn at your own pace. -

I love Skillcrush. I had an interest in tech careers for years, but it wasn't until I took their quiz about how I might fit into the tech field that I actually took the leap. What I love about Skillcrush personally is that everything is so clearly laid out and organized. I think people have learned to code on their own time for free, but for me, the convenience and knowing that I am getting the right tools and practice is invaluable. I love the platform, I love the practices, I love that there are add-ons in case you want to go a bit deeper down the rabbit hole. I would 100% recommend Skillcrush to anyone who is looking to get into tech. -

I’ve learnt so much on Skillcrush and the support you get is phenomenal. Whenever I got stuck someone was always a click away and they always responded within the hour! The lessons are super easy to digest and where it gets challenging there’s always someone to help. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to learn new tech skills or even refresh old ones. -

I enrolled in Skillcrush a few weeks ago and am so happy I did. I had previously been looking into doing a more intensive bootcamp when I stumbled over Skillcrush. The lessons take you step by step through the process and there is always an instructor ready to answer any questions you may have. I have found that the lessons are upbeat and positive which helps you to get through those moments when you start to doubt yourself or your motivation is wavering. Thanks so much to all the skillcrush team for all the amazing work they do! -

I have just finished HTML & CSS and so far this course has been amazing! The great thing about it is that you can go at your own pace but you do need to stay on top of your work and assignments in order to get it done in a timely manner. In a few weeks, I have learned HTML and CSS and have completed the portfolio website that I will be using for interviews. It has been such a fast and exciting process I can't wait to see what the rest of the course has in store. I am also very optimistic because I will be having help with the job search and interview process. I am also paying on a monthly basis which helps as I am currently unemployed. I would definitely recommend it. -

Overall, I really like the classes because all lectures, assignments, and projects are straight forward. I was looking for a Bootcamp course went I came across Skillcrush. Did little research on them and made my decision to signed up for their Design and Development courses (User Experience & Python). I really enjoyed the classes and the format it was presented in. I liked the assignments that connected the subject matter to relevant, contemporary issues.

I happened to stumble upon Skillcrush by accident when looking for a new career to pursue, and it was the best accident I could have asked for! What drew me in was the free week bootcamp they offer to get a glimpse of what the courses entail. I immediately became interested just by the way the instructors were presenting the material. It felt very warm, friendly, and inviting. They did a great job of making it feel comfortable and not intense for anyone who may be trying to learn tech from nothing. I'm not even a quarter of the way into the "Break Into Tech" program and I already absolutely love everything about it. The instructors explain the material well in an easy to understand way. It is broken up in many sections so it doesn't feel like too much at once. They also offer 1-on-1 mentor check-ins throughout the course, direct feedback from instructors on the work yo do, and a whole online community of people going through the courses to gain feedback and bounce ideas off of. It is truly unlike any other online course out there that I have come across and they have done an excellent job with it! They really make learning fun! :) -

Over the summer I discovered coding on my own but found that I needed so guidance still. Skillcrush offers exactly what I need and I can work at my own pace. I am currently in the Front End Developer Career Track but I am planning on taking other courses later on. Every day there is something that makes more sense and I can put into my developer tool kit. Every time I have reached I was met with positive and meaningful interactions and very quickly. I have never felt like I was left hanging or have unresolved issues. Skillcrush just ticks all the boxes for me and I am so happy to be in the program! -

I signed up for a four-month program designed to take students from knowing nothing about code to becoming job ready in many types of jobs in the tech industry. The program is great and rewarding but communication with the instructors and other students is difficult; even with Slack, emails, and Live Q&A. I often don't have time to wait for a response (3+ hours) so I use outside resources and sites hoping to try and figure things out on my own. I also thought there would be more practice activities on each subject, so I feel lost sometimes and hesitant to move on since the work and concepts go hand in hand. I wish ALL lesson exams at the end of each topic were feedback challenges. I'm about 50% done with the program lesson portion and I have met with a mentor once. I understand this is an online course with plenty of students to get to but I feel like once I signed up I was forgotten about. I still receive emails inviting me to "Change my Career" and "Become a Skillcrush Student" and I've been a student for almost a year. The bottom line is, I am learning a lot and I do think I will be job-ready just not when I had originally planned or hoped. Thank goodness for FREE outside resources and videos that can help you when Skillcrush cannot. -

The Skillcrush Break into Tech course is made up of 21 classes to train (women) to enter the tech world. I received a free promotion of the User Experience Design courses.
The classes are great; interesting, concise, and informative. Skillcrush excels in career advice and mentorship. Direct access to tutors by email and zoom to answer questions and review assignments. There is also help with writing a resume, creating a portfolio, and the other steps necessary to break into a totally new career.

Before starting Skillcrush, I had tried a few other paths including free code camp, Kahn Academy, and a Google Certificate via Coursera. I have found Skillcrush instruction to be the best and the price is very affordable compared to some of the other coding boot camps out there. Also, 1 on 1 mentoring is unheard of at this price point. I have progressed faster than ever through this program and am confident I will be job ready upon completion. -

I've had a lot of professional training in my career, in addition to my Master's degree, and hands down Skillcrush is one of the most effective, efficient and enjoyable learning experiences I've had. It's accessible and iterative. The curriculum is organized in digestible chunks - each lesson builds on the previous one, so new and technical coursework never seems intimidating. The Skillcrush team are also super responsive on Slack, in live Q&A sessions and over email. I've been in plenty of University classes where I was basically ignored.. this is the opposite of that. Finally, the documentation is top-notch. Notes, cheat sheets, articles.. it's all available and I've already started cobbling together my own reference library from their knowledge bases. I think this class is a bargain. -

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience thus far at Skillcrush. The HTML & CSS course was a lot of fun while also being very informative. The instructors are all super helpful and provide a multitude of resources.
If I had to offer feedback for one thing, however, I think having more exercises and practices would be great. This is kind of a small nitpick though as Skillcrush definitely offers various websites that have additional information and exercises. Also the student community and instructors are readily available. The Coding Camp offered for free is also great for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the world of coding. -

This course is not cheap, but it’s worth every penny!!
I joined the Break into Tech course after trying out their free bootcamp. I was hooked after the bootcamp and couldn’t get Skillcrush off my mind. After a few years of wanting to learn to code but never really getting it, Skillcrush was the first course that really allowed me to understand what was going on. I decided to invest and have not regretted one bit.
They teach really well and put a lot of heart, effort and thinking into how to make it better and better, and it shows. They structure lessons into bite-sized pieces, easy to understand, really digestable, and give you opportunities to practice at the right point to help build up your skill level.
What’s even more amazing is that they give you feedback and reassurances at just the right point of time too to make sure you don’t lose confidence in yourself (which is easy to happen giving you’re learning something new and so technical), plus they regularly ask you for comments to see what’s on your mind and help you out. And they use your feedback to continuously improve their course!
The instructors provide really timely feedback (within 12 hours in my own experience) and it’s not just a template response. When you have specific issues in mind, they really can help you out by answering you directly or pointing you in the right direction.
I also like their idea of fast-track paths to keep us in focus in learning one major skill first. I have a tendency to wander around and without their fast-track concept I would have been going all over trying to learn everything, but in the end not really being able to learn anything. But their fast-track path sets out clear steps and I just have to follow.
Some people might say you can get the same content for free online, which is probably true, but without this structured curriculum and support, it’s not easy to learn. I think I’m paying especially for the Skillcrush’s team in deciding HOW to teach us, which has definitely lowered the threshold for learning tech.
Really I just have good things to say about them - it is a worthwhile purchase! -

I was so reluctant to commit to a paid bootcamp, I found difficult to imagine why it would be better than learning with free resources. I took the free course offered by Skillcrush and we clicked. Also they were offering everything that I lacked with free courses: structure, support and a clear path to achieve my goals. I signed up for the Break Into Tech Blueprint and I just finished the first part of the Front-end dev fast track. I'm so glad with my decision to join! Now I understand what all the great reviews are all about. They give you all the very important fundamental pieces you need in order to understand what are you doing and why. They check in with you frequently and the slack community is super friendly. I'm so happy that I'm finally learning things properly, it's such a relief!
P.S: In case you are not a beginner: I've been teaching myself how to code for the past year from C to Python and game dev. I find the pace and level of the course very good.
