Read more Read less of ABHIJITH SHAJI's review
I am currently pursuing the Postgraduate Degree in Digital Marketing from Simplilearn in association with Purdue University, and my experience so far has been insightful. The course offers a comprehensive curriculum covering key aspects like SEO, social media marketing, and analytics, with a well-structured learning approach. The industry-relevant content bridges the gap between theory and practical application, and the hands-on projects and case studies have been particularly beneficial. Live classes with industry experts provide valuable insights and mentorship, while the collaboration with Purdue University adds credibility to the certification, making it a strong asset in the job market. -

Bipin Kulkarni was our trainer for this module, and I have to say, he did a fantastic job. The content was quite technical, but Bipin explained everything clearly and concisely. He used real-world examples which made it much easier to grasp the concepts. I especially appreciated his patience in answering all our questions, even the ones that seemed basic. Instructor is knowledgeable but course design by Simplilearn is not upto my expectations of a senior experienced candidate. Just by tagging a course name with IIT does not make it upto that class. Also, if there is dedicated sessions for doubts clearing, that will help. There is lack of bidirectional communication during course lecture, in the interest of time. -

The professors are very informative and help us understand with real life examples. The only problem is the breaks between two class. Sometimes the classes happen every week and can get an overload of information. However, since December the classes have been a bit irregular and it is affecting the flow of the class. Also can there be an option of another class on a Saturday instead of having the only on sunday. Can help learners to be available on either a Saturday or Sunday for the live class. -

A wonderful platform to learn CyberSecurity

Well-structured syllabus covers up-to-date topics, and the instructor is immensely knowledgeable with excellent teaching skills. The only concern I have is about the job assistance and placement. As I have 6 years of experience in different domains (Technical and Network Support), so chose this certification course to change my career to the CyberSecurity domain. When I spoke to the job assistance team they told me that I have to start as a fresher in cybersecurity as I don't have relevant experience which could cause in decrease in the current package— wanted to know the area I want to focus on and the success rate of getting a cybersecurity job without compromising the package I hold. -

- I am currently attending the Advanced Executive Program in Cybersecurity from Simplilearn, and it has been an amazing learning journey so far! The course structure is well-organized, covering essential topics like Enterprise Infrastructure Security, Web Application Security, and IAM in great depth.
- A special mention to our trainer SAI M, who has been incredibly knowledgeable and patient in explaining complex cybersecurity concepts. Their practical approach, use of real-world scenarios, hands-on labs, and interactive sessions, has made the learning experience even more engaging and insightful.
- One of the standout features of this course is its focus on hands-on practice with tools like Burp Suite, Linux commands, and IAM security models. The well-structured modules have helped me bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Suggestion for Improvement- While the course is great, I feel that some modules—especially those involving hands-on exercises and security tools—require more time for practice. For learners who are new to cybersecurity or have limited technical exposure, additional self-paced practice sessions, guided labs, or extra Q&A hours could be beneficial.
- Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to transition into cybersecurity or deepen their expertise in the field. It’s an excellent program for both beginners and professionals!
