I took the 3 month Full Stack Developer course with School of IT. I went from having little to no experience in programming to creating really cool programs and websites. My lecturer, Virgil, made the entire learning process fun and enjoyable. I would give School of IT 11/10. I’ll definitely be back to study more!
Overall friendly people and a great learning experience. Anyone can do it! -

I completed Two courses with school of IT. It was an enlightening experience. working with Joel I saw my skills as a programmer develop over the course of the learning period. I recommend the School of it to anyone who might wish to be a developer. -

A well-enjoyed experience of acquiring new knowledge through much appreciated engaging tasks. I took the Basic Introducing to SQL course which involved very direct, easy to grasp concepts and diction. Mr Joel Mukanya was my online lecturer; very patient and knowledgeable about his work (10/10). -

I really enjoyed it and have already recommended it to a few friends. I already had some Python knowledge up my sleeve but Joel made me fall in love with Python and coding in general. Joel is built differently. Honestly, he's such a great lecturer. He adapts to your learning style and works according to your schedule. He made this course super and was happy with me challenging him. I'm so glad I chose School Of IT. I learnt so much from Joel and enjoyed the exercises that he gave me. He was super patient and made sure that I understood everything before moving on. -

I studied software engineering at School Of IT and it was a great experience, the one on one aspect made it very enjoyable, the lecturer is fully competent in the coding languages. Shaun East, the director, was always available and willing to assist.

Informative, professional, simply amazing
The course was fun and informative, the 1-1 basis helped me immensely in being able to learn and understanding programming in a relatively short amount of time, while also being accommodating of my busy schedule. Although i struggled a bit at first, however that was only for the first week or so, thereafter it became a lot easier to the point where i was looking forward to each session. -

I gained vast amounts of knowledge regarding my field of study. It also helped a lot that they could adjust the class times according to my schedule , as falling ill and having to go to the doctor they’ll adjust the class to your convenience .I would strongly recommend studying through them, they are able to assist any time should a problem arise , and they are the best at what they do .

I chose to do the Software Development course through School of IT. Best choice, as you can choose your coding language. I chose java and learnt it over 3 months. We covered intro, intermediate and advanced concepts of software development. The pros about School of IT and the course was the flexibility. My mentor contacted me with a few hours of registering and we arranged times and dates that fitted into my schedule. Which was great! I loved the fact that the course was mostly practically based as it helps you very much in understanding . We worked through examples all the time. I would highly recommend School of IT to all my friends. As they are the best at what they do.

The course was fantastic, informative, interactive and very flexible. It felt like I was struggling in the first week of the course but soon after Yadhir Maharaj took over, I felt extremely comfortable. Not only were the sessions more structured and exciting but as we ventured on my Full Stack Dev. journey, tailoring each one to my affinity for systems and learning.
Yadhir is extremely knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic, patient, works in the industry, is open minded and always open to suggestions and learning, and as he put it, no two developers think alike! I gained an enormous amount of knowledge from Yadhir or Yadz, as he likes to be known and I am truly grateful to him for making my learning experience an amazing one. I’m sad that my course has ended but feel like I have made a friend, which says a lot about the mentor and tutor that Yadz is and I would highly recommend him to anyone who’d like to venture into coding.
Thank you School of IT but most of all, thank you Yadz, for representing School of IT in the best possible light and making my learning experience an incredible one!

From Python 0 to hero
I went into this Intro to Python with absolutely no experience with coding.
The lecturer, Virgil, knew his thing and explained the content in a way I could understand. We regularly referred to earlier notes, which helped me see how it all flows together.
I look forward to seeing my skills tested in practice.
