What I loved about School Of IT is that I never experienced any issues throughout the period of doing my course for Software Development. They made sure they gave me all the tools and resources. My lecturer was very professional and patient with my progress. Now that I’m done with my course, I can finally say that I’ve gained knowledge and I’ve improved so much from the 1st lesson until the last. -

Great and professional. The lecturers and team are willing to assist you in promptly to any questions. The material given also is good for general understanding. The only thing about online courses is the need for self-responsibility but other than that the team will help you reach your goals. -

I did the full stack software development course. It proved to be very informative and easier than expected. My instructor, Nokuthula, went out of her way to keep me engaged in the lessons. The time scheduling was quite flexible, which allowed me to travel and still continue learning . -

This was a great course with a very good lecture who has a great teaching skill.The lecture was patient and easy to understand.Great exercises to boost my knowledge were given. The only thing I did not like was the virtual textbooks,a few were easy to understand and easy to read,but some were very complicated and unstructured. That is the only set back of the course -

This was a great choice. I took the Software engineering course for Python and Java. The times were very flexible and I managed to get the full experience of the course in just over 3 months rather then the full 4. They also give you a bunch of extra info for when you need to do the exams. Which are internationally recognized. A great choice for anyone learning coding or wishing to get a proper certificate for a language. -

Engaging and fun
Engaging learning experience. You are assigned a lecturer and the sessions are one on one and thus the class pacing can be catered to your needs. Furthermore, more time can then be spent on harder topics. In my case the learning was application based and not overly theoretical which I enjoyed. -

This school is legit, I signed up for one on one lessons and got the most out of it. I learned so much and gained a new skill that I can apply to my job. My tutor provided me with all the information then taught me at a pace that was preferable to me and allowed me to stop him, and ask questions. -

The course was very enjoyable and very effective. The flexibility of the schedule as well as the one on one tutor makes it very manageable thus leaving you enought time and room to get to grips with the work. It remarkable to think how much you can learn in a short period of time using the model that this school is using. The tutor was incredible and made every effort to ensure that I get the most out of each lesson.

The experience I had with School of IT was superb, with the course being well structured. The lecturer that was assigned to me, Bright Chavalala, made the whole experience even more enjoyable and easy to follow and learn. Had a great time doing the Fullstack Development course. I've watched a lot of tutorials prior to joining, but the one-on-one setup with School of IT is really helpful and has set me up with confidence to tackle projects by myself and pushed me through "tutorial-hell". -

As a Microsoft tool it has a great integration with other MS solution as name above, but it’s hard to integrate with externals apps. Overall, I am still satisfied in using this software to managing and managing our collaborative project and it really helpful for us to tracking and finish our project in the allocated time. It has increased our effectiveness in planning and executing a project. Microsoft Project is really good in planning and executing my project that my team and my colleague collaborate. It let us to distributing task among us and be clear which member are responsible for the task and avoid confusing while executing the project. The Gantt chart really helpful in planning the project time of completion. -

School of IT to provide structure to your learning schedule.
I'd be lying if i told you teaching yourself is a cheaper alternative than taking a course, because if money is time you'd be waisting alot of it on just the basics alone.
Being able to go through the beginner's course in 2weeks saves alot of time whilst ensuring you understand all the important information.
If you're considering coding I'd recommended taking a course, using your time efficiently and effectively. -

I finished my Full Stack development course through one-to-one online lessons looking at the front and back end of websites. I was able to learn HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc. Before I registered I was doing some research and was thinking of returning to university and doing a 4 year course. I stumbled upon school of IT offering lessons online. I read reviews and and was overall impressed but not yet settled. I then emailed to ask to speak to any admin faculty member about the respective course catalog and within 20 minutes received a phone call by a friendly and helpful person who was able to give me the necessary guidance I needed to make an informed decision about which course to take.
The one-to-one mentor was phenomenal in the sense of teaching style. He was very accommodative always asking how he could improve for the next lesson. He was organised and was readily available when I asked questions in and outside of class-time. The team was always proactive, resources was made readily available with speed and they accommodated me according to when I was available as I am a fulltime worker. I don't think I would have been happier anywhere else. This was the best experience I've had at any institution. -

The course was completed online with a lecturer. The material presented was presented in a competent and easy to follow manner. As it was a entry level course (Level 1), only basic principles were covered, e.g. 2D drawings, line style, document setup. Overall a good experience. -

School of IT gives a very personal experience for learners. You're assigned a personal lecturer to guide you. The ability to ask questions as you go, extra assistance for a lot of the configuration stuff that can sometimes be glossed over, and access to great digital materials for individual study make it very easy to follow. As someone who has tried the University route in the past, I can definitely recommend a bootcamp with School of IT. -
