I felt that I wouldn't be able to manage this course, but an admissions rep., helped make clear the requirements after he understood my challenges. Honestly, he is the reason I committed in the end. I am glad I did, as I learned alot, and my strong desire to code was re-ignited. I still have lots to learn and soo much practice to undertake, but I am happy with my decision on NuCamp!
Thanks admissions guy(sorry I don't remember your name, but you were key), thanks Frank for your help and understanding! -

Nucamp is great, but I am not sure it's the right direction for me right now. To me, the most important features of the camp are direct interactions with students and instructors, as well as hands-on exercises. I have a few ideas I want to try and develop, and what I missed in the course is the additional coaching on how something can be done in a different way. Single-option how-tos tend to discourage rather than inspire. But then again, everyone's learning styles are different. -

The main reason why I chose to enroll in Nucamp was because I had previously started my career in IT and wanted to get back into this industry. I felt that Nucamp was the best in helping me accomplish my goal. Their courses were very thorough and each module helped me understand all the new concepts and technologies. I have learned a lot from my instructors and cohorts and this will help me in the next chapter of my career! -

I am currently in the construction business(Truck Driver) and i looking for a new career change, I have been looking into BootCamps and was trying to find a online (part-time) and affordable camp, Nucamp did both, very flexible and i can study on my own time. I finished web dev fundamentals and i am now in the full stack web + mobile development., Just finished the bootstrap course heading into React front end. The instructors are very helpful and nice, they take their time explaining the course. I have very little experience in web dev, and i am getting more confident in my work. Best decision I have made and coding is something that i am very passionate about now, theres something about taking a blank page and creating a full on web page that is functioning. Take it from me if I can do it, you can too. -

Excellent Experience
I just finished the Web development fundamentals course and was initially nervous as I am changing careers after 15 years in Business Finance and HR. My instructor was fantastic, the material was easy to follow and the support from the school staff was outstanding when needed. -

I signed up for this class to kinda bolster what I somewhat knew with html and css. I was very eager to get to the javascript, and I must say that my instructor had a great way of teaching and lended us a number of resources to look over in our spare time. The group setting made it fun and I'm assuming alluded to what it's actually like to work on a development team. Great cohort, and I will be continuing on to complete all nucamp's courses in its entirety. -

I chose to attend NuCamp because it was more affordable than the other boot camps. The online classroom structure is great because it allowed me to efficiently complete the lessons and assignments that I needed to while allowing enough flexibility to work with my schedule. Plus, my instructor was available all week long should I have any questions. He provided multiple methods to reach him for any reason and he was always quick to respond. -

I was wondering if I should enroll in the beginner's course because I had already been coding in Javascript for 2 months and I knew a lot of the HTML/CSS basics, but I'm glad I did because there were a lot of holes our instructor helped me fill. The instructor really helped with really going over and coding live for things that are considered industry standards. It also sets up the pace and is good practice for the upcoming bootcamps as far as time dedication and scheduling were concerned -

HTML, CSS, Javascript class at Nucamp
Although I had taught myself HTML and CSS and was using it at my job, I wanted to be sure that I understood all of the intricacies of programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScript since they are the building blocks of the internet. This was the right decision. I learned so much and now have the confidence to learn other frameworks. -

Loved the content and instructors for each of the three courses. Highly recommend! What you put in directly collates to what you get out. I struggled with content and workshops but took the time I needed to learn and move forward. Both class and instructors have helped me get a better base of understanding. This has helped me to open a side of tech the has eluded me for many years. -

I have been stagnant in my career pursuits for years. My wife sent me a careerkarma article about boot camps and Nucamp was listed. I checked them out. The price and length of the course was perfect. I gave it a try and I am happy with my decision. I took the html, css, and javascript 4-week bootcamp. My instructor was awesome and helped us with whatever questions we had. He took the time to breakdown the complex concepts or syntax into understandable nuggets. If you are new to programming then you should invest in your future and upgrade your skills. The best part is after the 4 week boot camp I may not know how to code in Javascript at any competant level. But I know exactly what direction I need to go in to get the skills I need to get to where I want to go. This Nucamp bootcamp helped renew my desire to stay on my journey and continue to learn programming. Also my instructor definately pointed me in the right direction and a map of what could be ahead. Going to finish this so I can get back to JavaScript. -

Worth it beyond the material
I went with Nucamp mainly because they are the most affordable. When I researched them I saw a lot of great things about them. After going through multiple courses here I can say it's worth it. Beyond the great course material that they are actively updating, the community and the instructors are amazing. I never once felt like a bother to anyone and my instructors regularly went above and beyond. -

I enrolled in Nucamp's complete software engineering track to transition away from a career as a sales engineer. So far, I have finished the web development fundamentals bootcamp. The course gave a decent beginner's look into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, although I think it would be better suited as a 6-week course with more time to focus on certain areas. My instructor was a full-stack web developer outside of her role at Nucamp and offered tons of outside resources and help throughout the week to keep me on track.
Where I feel Nucamp is lacking so far is the community aspect. They assign cohorts to private Slack channels and we all come together for workshops every Saturday, but in my experience everyone had their cameras off and mics muted, the workshop assignments were done solo, and there was basically no encouragement to interact with your cohort members.
If you are looking for a bootcamp with group work and lots of interaction with peers, I might suggest to look elsewhere. But as a beginner's look into the world of front-end web development, Nucamp is an affordable and high quality option for a solo learner. -

I was a part of a previous internship with a company. they told me I would be working in automation which was not the direction that I wanted to go in but they said I could cross-train after I work with them for a period of time. The instructor was brand new and the course material was not that great so a lot of the time we were left to fend for ourselves. That being said I ended up leaving the company when I felt I was underprepared for work in the automation field and took a short break from coding altogether. One day I was browsing through Facebook and saw an ad for Nucamp and did a little bit of research. It offered the program that I wanted in a language that is not going anywhere anytime soon. So far from what I have seen and experienced after 4 weeks, I am already ahead of where I was after 6 months with my previous internship. I only hope that Nucamp can continue to impress me and help me achieve my goal of ending up in web development. -

I was in need of a career change and have been interested in coding for the last year or so. I interviewed with a few schools and researched a handful of coding bootcamps. I choose Nucamp because I was ready to take my hobby-level skills and apply them to making a career change. But as a full time employee with a family to care for, most the bootcamps had schedules that were impossible - not to mention price tags that were prohibitive for my family's budget. I found Nucamp and decided to jump in. I think it turned out to be the perfet program for me. All but 1 of my instructors were really great and I actually was hired as a React Native developer a full 3 weeks before the bootcamp ended (I start the week after graduation). I think if you put the work in, really do group project work instead of working solo all the time, you will get the skills you need to be competitve on the job market. -

DevOps bootcamp very comprehensive
I came out of the DevOps bootcamp understanding how Docker works and being able to apply that knowledge to the 3 most popular cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. This has been huge addition to my resume and is setting me apart from other candidates. -

It was the most affordable bootcamp i found and a couple friends recommended. I loved how flexible the learning was so i can still work and be a mother without the stresses of class several days a week. I was able to create a schedule to accomodate my changing schedules with work and I can learn in my own time and pace. All the instructors have been very helpful throughout my journey. -

I'm just finishing the online HTML CSS and Javascript bootcamp offered by Nucamp. I have been wanting to get into software development since I was little but always found other thing ]s to do. I've also had intentions of continuing education but found it cost prohibitive or too of a commitment to dive in. When I found
Nucamp has online courses that are approachable to me for my budget schedule and level of (lack of that is) knowledge. I the curriculum well explained and demonstrated in videos so I was able to study on my schedule and re-watch as many times as I needed to figure out a problem. They help you get plugged into a broad community of devs. Students, teachers and alumni along with the wider internet community and resources, lessons, templates... Anything I need to know, I can now find. There is so much to learn I end up down the rabbit-hole of learning fun tweaks and application of the fundamentals I've been building over the course, just having fun with it. I like to learn on my own and this provides me a deluge of content to immerse myself in, peruse at leisure or search as necessary for a project.
I was also able to get a fair, reasonable loan with payments differed over a year. The value is hard to overstate but I can say that, though I'm sure I'll be able to find work and look forward to a career I'm going to love , especially with the massive social networking opportunities, I'm not at all concerned about managing the loan if for some reason I don't.
This course has been a little challenging to me as a new coder but so much fun I'm spending most of my time on learning platforms and forums trying to soak up as much as I can. I'm really looking forward to the next phase in my journey into tech and eager continue tapping into the inexhaustible amount of information that Nucamp's most basic of courses has lifted the veil of for me to explore.
If your at all interested in tech I highly suggest considering Nucamp as your launch board into the vast world that awaits.
Peace and love! -

what brought me to Nucamp was that i read reviews and heard about it on career karma and i was looking to make a change in my life. i had took some classes when i was in high school on coding but didn't think i would enjoy being behind a computer all day even though i really love the classes. i got tired and didn't want to just work somewhere that didn't make me feel happy or accomplished , i wanted something that would i would love to do , challenge me and make me happy of the end results of projects and stuff. , plus i saw how affordable it was. and that’s it was one of the best coding bootcamps in the country, so i just decided to take a chance. I'm glad i did! -

The Intro to Web Development Course at NuCamp was a great course to reacquaint myself with HTML and CSS I had learned long ago, and to gain new knowledge in javascript in order to prepare me to attend a FullStack bootcamp. I was trying to decide on a bootcamp and NuCamp was up there due to the price, but I wasn't sure because I didn't think the cheapest option would necessarily be the best. I took the Intro Course to get a preview of the learning platform and structure offered and I was very pleased. If you are the type of person who could learn to code on your own, but would prefer a bit more structure and peer support/networking, I would definitely recommend trying NuCamp's Intro to Web Dev course. You will need to learn these skills to get into a bootcamp anyway, and you may find that NuCamp actually offers a lot for the price. I have decided to continue on to their Full Stack Program instead of enrolling in a pricier bootcamp. -

I have been looking in to getting started with software development for a while and could not find a good place to start. I found Nucamp while looking for anything to get the ball rolling and get me started on my way. I believe this was a good decision for me, and do feel that I learned a lot from the course that I have taken so far. In the intro course that I have taken, we learned quite a bit that I have already started using in my work for my current employer. Take the time to take these courses, you will not regret it. -

I want to pursue a career in coding so I've tried learning as much as I can from free online resources. It was alright doing it the free way but it was too time consuming to look up what I need whenever I'm stuck on something. So, I didn't like how slow my progress was because I know I could do more if I had the right kind of help. I needed a structured program with workshops to help me monitor my progress and stay on track.
So, I looked for bootcamps. The ones I found before Nucamp have a hefty price tag and I didn't want to make that huge financial commitment which will impact my family's quality of life. Then I started noticing Nucamp's ads on social media. At first I thought their programs were too good to be true because they're offering them for much less than their competitors.
I checked out their programs, saw what other people said about them. What they offer allows me to study any time of day and attend the weekly workshops every Saturday. So, that was a big plus because my family and I won't have to make drastic adjustments to our schedules.
So, I signed up and now after earning my first certificate from them, I've made a lot of progress and it doesn't feel stressful. I haven't had to follow search results that lead to dead ends because the study materials are very clear and informative. Plus the instructor and the chat group are helpful, too, when we do our coding exercises. Now I have more tools at my disposal, know how to use them and how to navigate through their documentation. That’s good prep in my book. Overall, the program is well worth the money. -

I enrolled in nucamp to level up my job skills for employment. It was the cheapest option with the amount of experiance you get. I do feel the coarse was sort of rushed and teachers can only talk to students and not allowed to engage in any one on ones was sort of annoying. Other than that it was good to learn and the one of the cheaper options of any bootcamps. -

Nucamp is a great bootcamp with fantastic teachers! It provide great step by step lessons that one can follow and it also provides different ways in which students can learn their material. I liked how they combined both the written and video lecture into one page and also it has really good supports on slack for students who need additional help. I also liked how the teachers are also ready to help if you need a one-on-one help via zoom. One of the cheapest bootcamp with great qualities!
