I chose Nucamp because of the time frame of the course and the price. Looking at the course work, they were offering languages that are most relevant in today's job market. Having the flexible schedule and a price I could afford was huge.
After completing my bootcamp, overall I can say that I'm happy with my decision. Nucamp offered me a way to go from zero programming experience to feeling confident in a career change. I really enjoyed the support I had from my cohort and the entire Nucamp community.
This is not an easy bootcamp. They do expect you to have a certain level of understanding of coding basics, specifically JavaScript. The instructors I had did a good job of explaining some of those hard topics, helping me develop problem solving techniques, and pointing me in the direction of really solid resources to help with my learning after the bootcamp was finished.
I wish this bootcamp was more in depth on certain topics, but ultimately that’s not what it was designed to do. The goal was to bring a student like me with no experience to a place where I’m familiar and comfortable with some of the top programming languages used in the industry and get me ready for a career change. I believe that goal was reached. -

i chose nucamp because it is affordable and very flexible with my family life. The instructors have been so helpful and great. the workshops are a must to fully understand everything you learn through the week. my classmates are great too. its good to see people working towards the same goals as you! -

I really liked the flexibility (working full-time) and affordability. It's self-paced learning with a workshop every Saturday. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed the ability to keep my job while learning to code.

Nucamp is great not just for their education but they seem to do a great job hiring the right educators to teach the classes. Every instructor I've had has gone above and beyond what I was expecting and really want to see you thrive. I'm so happy I chose Nucamp for my education and I recommend it to everyone looking for a coding boot camp. Nucamp set me up so well I started my first software job earning $97K a year 2 weeks before finishing the front-end portion of the Bootcamp. -

This is my second time choosing Nucamp, the first time I completed the Web Development Fundamentals, and now I'm enrolled in the Fullstack Web and Mobile Development, and just finished the first module of the Bootcamp: Bootstrap. I choose Nucamp for the affordability that they offer and the curriculum. All I can say is that it's a very challenging journey, especially if you don't have any background in this field, but if you're dedicated and willing to learn, you will be surprised by what can achieve...I'm the perfect example, coming from a zero background and experience in the field, and even though I know that I still have a lot to learn I'm confident that Nucamp will teach me everything I need to succeed. -

I chose Nucamp because I felt like even though I was learning a lot being self taught I really wanted some structure in my learning. Nucamp has been great so far. It is taught in a way thats easy to follow and it's really nice to work with other people in the workshops each week. The instructors have been great and respond very quickly. Being online allows me to work on everything at my own pace which is really important if you are also working while you go through the bootcamp. I havent finished yet so I cant speak on the job assistance but from what I can see in the slack we are provided it seems like there is a lot of assistance. -

Full-Stack 2021 Cohort
I'm just starting the first part: It's alot of work and I find it hard to understand the documentation pages of like for example Mozilla. But it is interesting and NuCamp is able to drill down to what you really need to know. -

The instructor helped me learn and understand parts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The classmates also were there to help and caught small mistakes that would otherwise break my code. Everything was well organized and streamline, helping me understand exactly what I needed to do. -

I like how you can learn without quitting your job and learn on your own pace. The professor is knowlegeable and help us through every question we had. Also the commity is very supportive and help you with code questions as well. I recommend Nucamp! -

No need for a tech background to jump in and get your feet wet.

I chose Nucamp for the price point and the flexibility. We covered a ton of info and topics in 4 weeks and I always felt like I had support from my instructor and through the slack channel. I looked forward to Saturdays where everything I learned that week would come to fruition and I had fun coding with classmates. One thing that I think can improve is I wish the content had more mini exercises which would allow the student to prove (and make sure they understand) what they have learned before being allowed to move on. I did have to supplement my learning with other content a few times but that's ok! I do believe this class is valuable for the money spent. This is not an easy course by any means but with dedication and practice, it's all worth it. I can't wait to take the Full Stack course. -

The immediate draw of Nucamp was the price: only a fraction of other bootcamps, while covering basically the same material. Aside from that, I was looking for interaction with actual instructors and classmates, as an improvement upon just reading tutorials online. I came to appreciate the schedule flexibility as well, and the accountability to that schedule.
I appreciated the cohort instructor's examples and the precision of the video narrator, who often pointed out common points of confusion and clarified them preemptively. Very helpful! I feel much more confident going into the full stack bootcamp after this fundamentals intro. -

The main reasons I chose NuCamp was the affordability and the community I can interact with. Being able to have an instructor answer my questions and peers to connect with is very important to me. The Web Fundamentals Bootcamp gave me the start I needed and answered my curiosity about Web Development.
This is not a walk in the park. Time and dedication is vital. You must input the time to study everyday. If you're willing to put the time and effort, this bootcamp can be for you. -

The four week Web Development Fundamentals bootcamp was an ideal way for me to refresh and update my web development skills. I stopped developing web sites about a decade ago and wanted to get back into it, but I found that going the self-taught route this time around was just too complicated as there are just too many resources out there to stumble through. I also ran into a lot of information that was outdated or showed bad practices. The Nucamp fundamentals course was perfect for providing both structure and community while teaching me what I need to know about the basics of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to save time learning the basics of modern web development and to gain a support network of other learners and the developers who do an excellent job of teaching the bootcamps. -

I chose NuCamp over the many coding boot camp options for a few reasons. The first being the price. In comparison with similar boot camps, NuCamp offered the most flexibility with payment at an incredibly reasonable price. The second reason was the time commitment. In person or online classes took place once a week, Saturday, for four hours. With a program like this, it was easy to work to do the work online and get help online. It was also easy to make time for the instruction and 'homework' time. The online reviews for NuCamp were positive and given my current circumstances, I was confident in making the choice to take on this boot camp. -

The Web Fundamentals course was well paced, with plenty of code examples to illustrate the concepts being taught, yet not so much information that the average student would feel overwhelmed. I was quite pleased with both the scope and quality of additional study resources included with each instructional block, and the instructors were very encouraging in both their feedback and their suggestions for self-directed explorations into deeper learning on the covered topics. All in all, a starting course with very good value. -

I liked how they use projects you complete in order to test the skills. It is so much better to learn through example than through strait instruction. Communication with the instructor was pretty good and I would recommend it to anybody that is thinking about a bootcamp. -

I took the HTML, CSS, JavaScript Fundamentals one-month course. Nucamp didn't disappoint! With the affordable pricing, flexible schedule, and loads of information, I am glad that I jumped on board with Nucamp.
The schedule is just what I needed - at my own pace on my own time throughout the week and then meeting virtually on Saturday mornings. I wouldn't be as motivated to learn on my own so having an instructor available was just what I needed. I also registered for the Full Stack course that starts in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it! -

I'm currently finishing up the first part of the Full Stack Development course (Bootstrap) and I really like it so far! The content is challenging but doable and the instructors (both in my cohort and in the Slack channel) are so supportive and encouraging! I am working full time as a teacher (50+ hours a week) but the content is doable if you dedicate 1-3 hours a day studying and going through the exercises. Overall, for the cost and the support and content, I would definitely recommend Nucamp over other bootcamps. -

I've taken the beginner course and the bootstrap course so far. it's been a pretty good experience I'd say. It's really effective, especially for how cheap it is, and I've learned a lot about web dev. The instructors are also pretty friendly and helpful.
