In partnership with DigitalCrafts, Kennesaw State University offers in-person and online full stack software development bootcamps. In-person courses are located in Buckhead at the Atlanta Tech Village. Kennesaw State University Bootcamps are designed to prepare students for a career in the software development field, including front end development, back end development, and full stack development. After completing the program, students are well-versed in command line, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, API Integration, OAuth, SQL Databases, Git & Version Control, Algorithms, and Express.
The program provides night and weekend classes, making it an ideal schedule for students with full-time jobs. Instructors from DigitalCrafts will lead the instruction for this course, and they are experienced software engineers who share real-world coding knowledge with students. Career readiness is one of the main goals of the program. Over the course of the bootcamp, students learn job search skills through mock interviews, resume reviews, and portfolio help.
There are several options when it comes to paying for the bootcamp. Students can take out a loan to cover up to 100% of the tuition, or opt to pay with an installment plan so all the tuition is not due at once. Scholarships are also available to make costs more manageable. Scholarships are available for women and KSU students, alumni, staff, and faculty.
