The content was well thought out and taught well. The academic and program support was also amazing. They put a lot of thought into what they included in the curriculum as well as how you were tested on the content, whether it be quizzes or projects. The live mentored sessions were especially helpful given it was live interaction as opposed to videos. -

I had a great learning experience with the AIML course from Great Learning. I found the course curriculum covers most of key concepts, starting from the basics of Python and progressing seamlessly to advanced ALML concepts. So much more than just another certificate

Living Up to Its Name and More - Great Learning

My experience at Great Learning was extremely positive on all relevant fronts.
In terms of the educational content, there is much to highlight. Key concepts were often presented in a pedagogically sound and impressive manner during the lectures. While there can be a substantial amount of material to cover in each course, this also means you can get a great deal out of it if you make a genuine effort to review the content carefully. Thankfully, the lectures themselves were often just the right length--long enough to teach something meaningful but short enough to hold your attention. As a result, it was possible to make real progress in learning each day, even with limited time.
Beyond the lectures, the guided live sessions were very valuable. They typically included a “theoretical” review of the week’s content, followed by a more “hands-on” portion where the instructor demonstrated practical applications of the concepts in action- something especially important in AI/ML and useful for carrying out the assigned projects. The live sessions generally ran closer to two and a half hours than two, but both parts (the theoretical and the practical) were important and worthwhile. Student questions and participation also showed strong engagement with the material. I was also fortunate to have an excellent instructor who was deeply committed to ensuring that students truly understood the material before moving on to more advanced topics. He even often shared stories from his professional experience about how he approached related challenges in his work, which I found both interesting and enlightening.
Regarding assessments, there were two main components: a series of weekly quizzes and a final project for each course or module. The quizzes were fair and fit well within a typically busy schedule. Their flexible completion windows (rather than fixed times) were especially convenient. The projects, however, were where I learned the most. They helped bring everything together, and after completing several of them, I began to develop a clear sense of what real AI/ML work involves, e.g., how projects are structured, which packages are relevant for specific tasks, how long different steps might take, and so on. In the end, these projects can serve as excellent portfolio pieces that demonstrate the skills you’ve developed throughout the program. The feedback I received on my projects was also constructive, helpful, and typically delivered quickly.
Although of lesser importance, the general user interface, community forums, leaderboards, and other platform features also contributed positively to the overall learning/social experience. Things seemed well-designed and intuitive overall, as well as conducive to maintaining or increasing one’s motivation levels throughout the program.
Finally, on the administrative side, Great Learning truly stood out for me, so a few words are in order. I was assigned a program manager, Usha, who was incredibly helpful from the start- creating the right atmosphere and setting one up for success right from the get-go. She is someone who was very accessible and supportive throughout the program. Indeed, at one point, I encountered a serious issue submitting a project worth over half my grade, and it was something I had worked very hard on. In similar situations elsewhere, I have experienced slow responses and limited support, which essentially only led to frustration. However, Usha handled the matter quickly and effectively, and that showed me just how much of a difference a great program manager can make. Her patience, understanding, and impressive dedication allowed me to submit the project successfully in the end, something I remain deeply grateful for. Her combination of professionalism and commitment really served to make my experience at Great Learning an especially memorable one and I have no doubt she was a key factor in my success throughout the program. Anyone who has Usha as a program manager in the future should consider themselves fortunate, as they will have someone genuinely dedicated to their success.

You learn the building blocks so you can understand different applications fully. The balance between technical depth and accessible breakdowns makes it perfect for both beginners and those with prior experience. I particularly enjoyed the emphasis on hands-on projects with real-world scenarios, which reinforced concepts in a practical manner. For participants less comfortable with coding, the business-leader track offers a lighter pathway by focusing on interpreting results and presenting business insights, though I recommend trying the full-code submissions since Python is surprisingly intuitive and the labs are structured for learning by doing.
The scope of projects was amazing: detecting celestial objects, exploring computer vision, segmenting retail customers with clustering, predicting attrition for an EdTech company, and building recommendation systems from Amazon product reviews. Overall, the course was great in content, design, and applicability. The PGP AI/ML certification is a well structured and intense program for working professionals to help them understand basic and several advanced concepts in the field of AI and ML. The projects are very interesting and can be easily applied to simplification of some of the personal or work-related processes/problems.

Cons:

Through Great Learning, I have had the honour to take a 12-Week course from MIT, one of the best universities in the world. Great Learning provided a unique experience for us as students to learn a well-achieved 21st century education that focused on No-Code AI with weekly lectures, learning resources, hands-on experience with No-Code AI tools as well as assisted with AI capabilities to prepare us for the needs of the new century and for us to be able to utilize our own AI learning which could latter lead us to build our very own. The courses mostly focused on Math and Statistics and lead us through the curriculum to experience AI tools that we can learn to use better for our personal and work lives combined. As the material can be accessed for 6 more months after the completion of the programme, we will have time to practice what we have learned at our own pace. What could be done better would mostly be to familiarize us with more AI tools to see multifarious options from which we can derive AI skills and mainly to learn the mind-mapping of an AI framework with more advanced MIT faculty resources used. I am a recent graduate of the Cloud Computing course, and I'm currently enrolled in the AWS Associate Solutions Architect Training Program at the time of this review. The instructors and staff at Great Learning are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The learning resources provided in the courses are quite thorough, although I often found that the Quiz questions dove deeper into the subject matter than the coursework. I feel that these courses are a great way to get started in cloud computing, but there is a considerable amount of individual effort that goes into absorbing the material in a practical manner. Having recently graduated from a 4 month/8 CU program with Great learning course name: Making Data driven Decisions accredited through MIT - Institute of Data Science, Systems and Society on Data Science and AI. I am at a good starting have a base level understanding of the topic (basic python coding & conceptual understanding of clustering, regression, classification and recommendation systems). Objectively, Certification certainly has some value - job search perspective + gives you confidence to explore personal projects and other bootcamps + reach out to peers & there's networking support within which I haven't used yet. The program went through all the math behind the models which was great to know as you'd know why and when to use a certain model, it does a good prework if you ever haven't coded like me (professionally), & has enough levels of scaffolding for a novice to advanced. I saw some posts on other sites where folks were calling the program a fraud, and other prejudiced stuff on the delivery, I think it's a way of looking at it - I don't they promised a job right out of the course.Customer Support of Great Learning

I’m currently in the middle of the No Code AI and Machine Learning program from MIT Professional Education, and so far it’s been a really solid experience. The way the course is structured makes it easy to follow, even if you don’t have a technical background. It feels like the concepts are introduced at just the right pace, not too fast, not too slow.
One thing that’s made a big difference for me is the support from the academic advisor. They check in regularly and are quick to respond if I have any questions, which makes it feel like I’m not just on my own trying to figure things out.
Still a bit to go before I finish, but I’m learning a lot and actually enjoying it, which I wasn’t sure I would with a topic like AI. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the end.Customer Support of Great Learning

It was indeed a great learning experience for me. The self-paced courses and live online sessions nicely complemented each other and helped in understanding technical concepts and their practical applications.
