I attended the MIT-PE ADSP January 25'A certification program.
Getting an oportunity for a certification on Data Science from a prestigious University such as MIT carries much weight.
It's great having this certification as part of one's resume and provides greater job opportunities and the topic is quite interesting.
I was amazed at all the multiple aspects of AI and Data Science.
There certification gave a thorough overview with practical examples while accomodating one's work schedule.
Proffesors are knowlegable, friendly, and thorough.
It also great having had time to learn from a mentor in a small group.

I graduated with a master's in Data Science and Engineering, but due to many life circumstances had not been able to directly apply my education. Though I had over a decade of analytics experience, my current employer did everything except handcuff people to their current roles due to business needs, meaning no advancement and no potential to apply for a better-fitting role, and so my skills were atrophying. I had to do something, so I decided to take this course to refresh my experience and keep my brain working. The material felt far more approachable than it did in my master's program, and not just because I was familiar with the content. Where my professors were often stand-offish and I actually had two that said they shouldn't be expected to 'hold my hand', the mentors and instructors were amazing in answering questions and connecting via LinkedIn. I was surprised how approachable these highly-educated individuals were. Additionally, these individuals don't just teach, they are working in the field. It makes a difference! They can give real-life examples that bring concepts into focus. They don't just answer questions, they encourage them. My master's program may have gone into deeper detail, but I almost feel as if I've gotten more out of this 4 month program than I ever imagined I could have. You can't help but learn in such a supportive environment. Because of this course I am regaining the confidence I've lost and redeveloping the skills that have gone rusty in my current role. It has also given me the confidence to take more advanced courses so when I decide to begin looking for new roles I'll feel like I am a strong contender. I decided to submit this review because I had a wrong opinion about online courses. I was convinced that a course had to be in person to guarantee the full experience. Even if online platforms work, I believed that nothing could compare to being there in person, directly interacting with others. But I decided to give it a try anyway.What I discovered is that Great Learning solved ALL the issues of online courses.First of all, they have an amazing online platform where all the lessons are recorded, and all the material is stored. There are lots of quizzes to help you with the learning process (not graded), but also constant graded tests once per week. The user interface is very well designed and easy to use, and your schedule is always perfectly organized.But this is only the beginning. On the platform, you can find tons of forums where you can talk with other colleagues, share ideas, and ask for help if needed.And this is just the beginning of the beginning.What makes Great Learning the best organization of its kind are the assistants and the mentors. The mentors, who are highly experienced professionals, are always ready to answer any question — and their lessons are absolutely stunning.But in my opinion, what really makes this experience feel exactly like being there in person are the assistants. I’ve never received an answer in more than an hour; usually, it's within half an hour. Every problem was solved, and every question was answered. It feels like having a personal assistant who genuinely cares about you and your progress.Trust Great Learning; not only will you never regret it, but you will also discover that online learning can be as engaging, enjoyable, and effective as an in-person experience. That said, I must emphasize that the Great Learning’s Generative AI for Natural Language Processing program is truly a masterpiece.
This course is ideal for anyone serious about understanding and mastering Generative AI, covering everything from foundational principles to the latest advances in AI agent workflows, fine-tuning, and advanced RAG. Their online learning management system, Olympus, is extremely effective and very user-friendly, making the experience of online learning seamless, practical, and enjoyable.
Some aspects I loved about this program include its thorough training, which includes various practice case studies and hands-on projects and the fact that all classes and sessions are recorded, so students can easily revisit the material at their convenience, allowing for a more personalized learning pace.
I also had the privilege of working with an amazing Program Manager who was patient, understanding, resourceful, and always ready to help by providing quick clarification and assistance in all aspects of the program whenever needed. The curriculum was designed with depth and flexibility, with sessions from preparatory modules to intensive weekend mentored learning and even special breaks that allowed deep dives into hands-on masterclasses. Thanks to the industry-leading mentors who made complex topics accessible and engaging, I felt challenged yet supported every week.

This accomplishment reflects not only my dedication and hard work but also the program's quality and its content's clarity. I have been enrolled in the AI/ML course offered by Great Learning for about 5 months now and targeting to wrap up by end of March. Overall, it has been very useful for me in understanding AI/ML concepts. What I find particularly useful is that the instructors/mentors are actual professionals from the industry. They are able to provide guidance based on their real world experience which helps in grasping the ideas better. The weekly quizzes are a good way to validate understanding of the course materials. The videos accompanying them are from instructors who are very knowledgeable and soaking up all that information is definitely challenging, but very useful. Using Python, to validate models etc., was a lot more easier for me than when I tried using R earlier as part of something else. The projects are tailored to test out the understanding of the concepts even more in depth and take a significant amount of investment in time, but the learning gained as part of that process is difficult to replicate in other ways. The course is hectic without being overwhelming, requires dedication and focus rather than rote memorization. The knowledge gained as part of this course has definitely given me confidence in the overall AI/ML domain and I hope to leverage it to further my career aspirations.Customer Support of Great Learning

Embarking on the Post Graduate Programme in AI and ML with Great Learning and UT Austin's McCombs School of Business felt like setting sail in the middle of a stormy ocean, with no prior experience navigating a ship. Initially, I was overwhelmed and ready to give up. However, witnessing peers ready to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones inspired me to persevere. The support from professors and mentors, who delivered concepts with stunning clarity and hands-on practices, gradually anchored my understanding.
The journey was grueling—balancing work, quizzes, case studies, projects, and hackathons was a daunting task, especially with 20+ years work experience in a complete different field. Yet, reaching the first milestone and securing a top 10 spot fueled my determination. A special mention goes to Debanwee, our life-saving program manager, always available to support us like Poseidon in the storm.
With each milestone, I saw improvements and even topped several courses. Starting with Python Foundation and then Machine Learning, Advanced Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Supervised learning, Ensemble techniques and Model Tuning .... and many more within every courses!! Now, as I near the end, I can hardly believe how far I’ve come. The journey was so enriching that I don't want it to end; I'm eager to explore new horizons and complement this rigorous journey.

I was amazed by the resource-rich learning experience provided by the MIT Professional Education program, "No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions." This program not only offers the flexibility of traditional self-paced remote learning but also provides foundational knowledge, relevant resources, and career development guidance on the Great Learning platform. Each group is assigned an MIT professor as a mentor who resolves class-related questions weekly in real-time. Our teaching assistants, Ruchika Jain, were incredibly supportive, constantly reminding us of assignment deadlines and exam cut-offs in the group chats, and they were almost always reachable for private inquiries.
In terms of knowledge, every lesson builds on previously introduced concepts, creating a seamless learning journey. The more effort I put into studying, the more I gained. Initially, I struggled during the first three lessons, but with the teaching resources offered by Great Learning, I was able to understand the subsequent courses with ease.
