The data science course was incredibly insightful and well-structured, providing a comprehensive understanding of complex topics. The instructors were knowledgeable, engaging, and always willing to help, making the learning experience highly effective and enjoyable. The hands-on projects were especially valuable, as they allowed us to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world data.
However, the time between the final report submission and the presentation felt a bit too short. A slightly longer gap would give students more time to refine their presentations based on feedback and ensure they deliver their best work. Overall, a fantastic course that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to advance their data science skills! -

I have just finished the Data Science Program and I would like to share my opinion. First of all, I would like to mention that I had no preparation in Python programming or statistics. Great Learning took care of the training before the start of the program, which allowed me to prepare very well for lectures, mentoring sessions and projects. The materials are very good and the content is delivered in a very professional way. By participating in this program, you gain knowledge about data analysis and visualization, unsupervised training, Deep Learning, Recommendation System. 12 very intensive weeks of classes - but also time to gain fantastic knowledge. I highly recommend it! -

The folks at Great Learning have really done a great job of partnering with the professors of MIT in the IDSS program to truly democratize education. I've been on the MOOC train since Coursera came on the scene around 2010-2011. This is definitely the future, as they can breakdown concepts that are foreign to most of us without a tech or math background, making it digestible and makes sense in our business lives. The support given is top notch and they truly care about your experience and actually help you in any way they can, they are flexible and quite giving of their time considering the time zone difference in India as they teach learners from all over the world. I can't recommend them enough. Out of all the certificate programs that populated my inbox over the past three years I clicked this one and so grateful I did! -

This was my time to attend online courses, and I chose Great Learning because it provided MIT certificate of Data Science. It really sounds attractive.
I was an expert of digital marketing especially Facebook and Google paid ads. Since I learned Econometrics when I was a graduate student and Econometrics also included linear regression and binary regression, part of Data Science was not totally new for me.
However, Data Science provided by Great Learning explored more advanced topics than I thought. I provided amazing online courses that the main lectures were taught by MIT professors who went through many important concepts, and during the courses, professors were always willing to answer students' questions.
During the weekend, Great Learning arranged mentor sessions around 10-12 students and students can clarify any problems that was learned from this week. The mentor went through how to use these methods in Python. I really loved the mentor session since I didn’t have any Python background.
To be honest, I was not a Python expert after this lecture, but I learned many Python logics and I could keep learning Python on my own since I know many basic concepts of Python from this lecture. Moreover, I also learned more skills to read the data and analyze the data, and then interpreting the results. The assignments and the capstone report are very practical that we could really use it in the real world to solve for the problems! This is the best part!!
Originally, I was not very confident that I could get the certificate. I spent 1-2 hours per day learning Data Science as I was working. I couldn’t believe that I overcame it, but yes, I did it. Thank you, all mentors, managers and professor of courses.
If you don’t have time to attend all courses, Great Learning also kept all records that allows students to do review. They also provided various channels to answer any problems regarding the courses.
Now I’m going to update my CV to pursue a better job and better future for myself. 😊

The AI and Machine Learning Course was an amazing experience! The course was well-structured, starting with the basics and gradually introducing more advanced concepts, making it easy to follow along even for those without prior experience. Online classes are a delight, with excellently qualified proffessors from MIT. The material and topics are well organized and the dashboard is friendly and clean. Overall time for the complete course is tight, however. More so if you also have other activities like work or school. If you are struggling with this, you will find help the from kind program managers. You might find a couple of technical issues (although I found very few) along the way, do not stress out as help is always close by. Overall, I found the course lacking a little bit in some areas, however, it gets cancelled out with support team. I was a student with the MIT - Applied Data Science Program via My Great Learning organization in July - October 2024. I have had a tremendous learning experience throughout this course. The course was well organized, and I was consistently supported by the program manager Ms. Prashi. The program was intense, advanced and very applicable in teaching concepts for machine learning and deep learning. I especially enjoyed the hands-on projects, as it gave me a chance to apply the knowledge gained in this course. I am proud of how much I was able to achieve and learn in a short amount (e.g. Python coding, managing large data sets with EDA, feature engineering, clustering techniques, decision trees, Recommendation systems and ARIMA models). I had a great experience in the applied data science program at Great Learning. I was able to take more out of this program than any university courses I have taken. The curriculum is well structured and the classes are dynamic. The program covers many topics and gives the students the opportunity to go deeper if they wish to. The professors focus on giving key insights and analogies instead going over long and boring examples. For those that require more practice, guided projects and problem examples are offered in pre-recorded format or during mentoring learning sessions. This enables students to work at their own pace.
I also had a good experience connecting with staff and other learners. There are plenty of QnA sessions in the program and my program coordinator was always available to help me when needed. Learners are encouraged to interact with each other and are provided with their own space on slack to do so. I have gotten a lot of new LinkedIn connections from learners and mentors. I recently completed MIT-PE ADSP JULY 24'B on great learning, and I must say they did an excellent job. The courses content were comprehensive and well structured, covering all the essential topics in data structure, machine learning and AI. The professors, instructors and mentors were knowledgeable and provided clear explanations, making complex concepts easy to understand. I was a student for the March 2024 cohort for the AI/ML program. The course was a great experience overall. I learned the basics of data science and machine learning by watching high quality videos, attending mentor learning sessions, and working on projects that allow you to solve real world problems. It is a challenging course, but you will learn a lot in the process! I highly recommend the program.

My experience throughout the program has been great. The content from MIT-IDSS and Great Learning is top notch.
The courses are delivered by renowned MIT Professors in a very comprehensive and coherent manner, making complex topics easier to grasp. Numerous case discussions, Quizzes and Projects have made the experience really worthwhile allowing key concepts to sink in.
Live Mentored Learning sessions are incredibly well detailed in terms of concept coverage, case discussions, and real time doubt clearing.
My mentor was always reachable for any query that I had and displayed amazing level of dedication to make the entire class understand the concepts.
The program managers Himani and Kiran were excellent with their support throughout the journey.
The quality of the Professors were incredible and the online sessions were very impactful.
Besides, live hands on online sessions were also conducted which had helped make the topics related to Machine Learning, Data Science and Artificial intelligence much more clearer.
Overall, an outstanding, comprehensiv and well thought out program which prepares the participants for the future.

Without a doubt, this program exceeded my expectations! The lectures cover a wide variety of topics and even though dealing with them could be quite challenging, the faculty provides all the tools needed to successfully complete them. I am currently in my last module of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course. For the most part this has been an exceptional experience. When evaluating which course to take it really came down to the live support assistance that is provided through Great Learning. I looked at several self-paced courses, but none of them seemed to have the support that I received through Great Learning.
For starters, there are weekly mentoring sessions that review the weekly assignments as well as project reviews. These helped tremendously as you are able to directly ask questions and receive immediate feedback about the current topics. Also, each individual is assigned a program manager. My manager, Bhashi, was extremely helpful in every question I asked. The responses were prompt and very accurate.
My only suggestion would be to add more hands-on material. There were six projects, one for each main module. During each week some had optional hands-on quizzes where you are required to do some programming and answer questions based on results. Unfortunately, not every week had these quizzes and I would really have liked to have seen more of these. Other than that the course offered through Great Learning is great and highly recommended.
