Virtual isn’t great

Definitely regret taking the full stack program. Wasted about $15k all total. The “student success manager” was a total joke. He ignored his students more than he helped them be successful. Luckily he got removed from the position but not soon enough. From being involved in the program I discovered that everything they go over there’s some free website you can get the info from. Employers don’t care about the certificate they give you they just want you to know how to code. If you get behind in the class you won’t be able to do the career services stuff and get caught up. If you’ve never done a virtual class before then this isn’t a great way to experience it for the first time. It’s extremely fast paced. All in all I’d say save your moneyBoot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Thank you for your review, Jay. We regret that the boot camp did not live up to your expectations. Like you mentioned, the course is fast-paced and requires a significant time commitment to master the materials. From your review, we understand that you did not feel the virtual learning approach was sufficiently beneficial for you and we appreciate your input, as we're constantly optimizing our curriculum and program offerings. It's our goal for all learners to complete the boot camp feeling equipped for success, so we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you and determine any additional assistance we can provide for you at this time. This Bootcamp changed my life!

I decided to get into tech during last year, 2021, during the Pandemic because I felt like I was reaching my fullest potential. I was already working as a Business Analyst but was not really in the tech world. I had began looking into free data analytics classes, but I was not getting a good grasp of the content so I started looking into bootcamps and came across Georgia Tech's Data Science and Analytics bootcamp. The bootcamp was awesome! I loved working on the visualizations portion (we used Tableau) of the class as well as the PostgresSQL portion of the class. I participated in everything that the bootcamp offered and ended up receiving a promotion at my current job. This bootcamp truly changed my life and if you decide to take this bootcamp take advantage of everything that they offer. Highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone interested in Data Analytics.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Please be aware of the small print with Georgia Institute of Technology or better known as Trilogy Education Services. The deposit is non-refundable which is to the tune of $1000! I provided notice of cancelation several weeks before wanting to cancel my attendance at the boot camp so I am not sure why an honest company wouldn't provide a full refund of a deposit. I do not think that there was $1000 worth of work performed to prepare my seat to attend the boot camp. I also know that there were ample seats available in the boot camp so why keep my $1000 deposit? I really want folks to know this information so they are not put in the same position that I am currently. READ the fine print is the lesson of this review and food for thought as to why would a company have such a policy?Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

I enrolled in the Digital Marketing Bootcamp after hearing about the Trilogy courses and their university affiliations from a friend. I selected Georgia Institute of Technology based on their reputation as a leader in training the science professionals of tomorrow. The Digital Marketing course is a highly valuable and effective way to learn the full breadth of knowledge and skills to become a competitor ready professional on a new career path. The individuals classes run through an intensely in-depth and fast paced series of lessons taught in realtime by a digital marketing professional with (in my experience) incredibly valuable and knowledgeable Teaching Assistants to support the students during and in between classes. The 6-months of classes 3x/week are accompanied with classwork and projects that require another 10-20 hours/week depending on the difficulty of the unit content and required assignments. Within the first two weeks I learned everything I was expecting to cover in the course, leaving an extensive amount of time to go deeper into analysis, metrics and web-based tools, and performance assessments of marketing campaigns, messaging, and expenditures. I've enjoyed learning how to create and optimize a website on WordPress as well as critique a company's current marketing practices and web presence to identify weaknesses and strengths (suggestions for improvement abound). Overall the experience has been unique, rewarding, very demanding and inspiring. I've met several people through this course who I would like to keep in touch as networking partners and professional peers for a time to come and look forward to hearing from my classmates down the road to learn about the different directions we have all taken in applying what we have learned and practices through participation in this course. As in all things, I am not without my criticisms and there is certainly room for improvement in certain aspects of the course though I cannot deny the benefits anyone would certainly gain should they enroll and make a full commitment to getting the most from the instructional lessons, readings, class activities, and homework assignments.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Not engaging and difficult to withdraw from

I am currently enrolled in the UX/UI bootcamp. I attended for one month and can no longer afford the course, as my financial situation has changed unfortunately. I was told that there is absolutely no financial assistance available. My account is on hold so I cannot access any of the classes. This means that I am still being billed because I am technically enrolled, but I am unable to attend any classes.
So now all of my absences have been used; I am six months pregnant so the course teacher and I had discussed using all the allotted absences when my baby arrives. This will no longer be possible even if I did have a way to pay for the course. They do not seem to care at all about the students once you face any hardship. Enrolling was a mistake and only added stress to my plate.
It is very difficult to withdraw past the first week of classes so I have no idea how long they will continue billing me for these courses that I cannot access. The course was not engaging at all and very heavily dependent on group work.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Thank you for your feedback, Sydney. We regret to hear the boot camp experience is not living up to your expectations.
As an accelerated learning environment, it is important that we foster a community of learners where everyone can contribute to each other's success and growth. We encourage individuals to collaborate and directly contribute to the course during class, projects, and study groups. We understand that everyone's learning style is different, but we find this group learning method to be effective in preparing learners for a professional setting.
Our team works hard to ensure every learner feels supported throughout every step of the way, however, we are constantly working to improve our processes to ensure participants are being heard and assisted. Our enrollment agreement and admissions process do make the refund policy clear, noting that refunds are not possible after the drop period ends. We never want individuals to drop from the program, however we understand extenuating circumstances do happen. As such, we work with learners on a case-by-case basis to help them move forward and finish out their studies.
We pride ourselves on teaching individuals how to build a strong foundational skill set and take input like yours seriously. We would welcome the opportunity to further discuss this with you. If you would like, please reach out to us directly at (404) 369-3107. -

I started the Course in August 2020 in the Full Time Class . I learned early on that I would need to change to Part Time in order to get a better grasp of the curriculum . The Course is very in depth and you will learn a lot in a minimum amount of time . Being older , one of the greatest advantages was that each class was taped so if you had a problem understanding the topic you could always go back and review the tape to get a better understanding of the material . The Instructor ( Jonathan ) and the T.A. 's were great . He would go over the subject and ALWAYS asked if anyone had questions which was a definite plus ! He also encouraged us to do our own research into the subject matter if you had questions that needed a more detailed response . To those that are older , take advantage of everything offered to you , e.g. before / after class help sessions with the T.A.'s as their help will be critical to your success in the course .
Make no mistake , you will need to devote time to this endeavor . The staff stresses that in order for you to master this course you will need to PRACTICE , PRACTICE, PRACTICE your craft . Participate in the Class Activities , ask questions if you don't know , take REALLY good notes as this will help you to become more confident in your skill development . Participate in Study Groups if they are formed , most likely your question might be the same question that others have and your not shy in realizing your don't know and need help .
I was already in the I.T. field for 20 + years before taking this class . The coding wasn't difficult ( just have to learn the syntax ) but their were many other applications that I needed to master and that is always a challenge. I learned a lot and I continue to review the tapes to keep myself aware of Full Stack Engineering .and what it encompasses . If I can do it , anyone who is older who wants to change their career path or diversify their current I.T. skillset , this is a quality course taught by highly qualified educators who take pride in their passion to offer the student the best experience possible !Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Way to go, Steven! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the boot camp and felt encouraged by our entire instructional team—we also couldn't agree more that Jonathan is pretty amazing. Like you mentioned, this is a rigorous program one that will require extensive time both inside and outside of the classroom to truly master the material covered. Great advice for prospective learners—participating in study groups, constantly practicing, and reaching out when you need additional help will help you succeed. GA Tech did a wonderful job with this bootcamp. I had very little knowledge about web development and I feel after 6 months that I can take on most task a job would ask me to do. I understand resources that I can use and how to ask the proper questions to fullfill the job at hand. The instructors and TA's were knowledgeable and patient with the students. I feel that the price was fair for the wealth of knowledge we received. I would highly recommend this bootcamp.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

After a 6 month period, with no personal previous knowledge of Data Analytics or Data Science, I have gained confidence entering the field. The connections you form with other students and multiple avenues of assistance in identifying the coding languages you wish to pursue further in a future career path is something that puts Georgia Tech's Boot Camp above other educational resources. This course is extremely valuable in terms of the knowledge and networking opportunities afforded to you as a student. Be forewarned that this course is difficult. Let me repeat: this is not a course to be taken lightly, you will consistently be sacrificing Friday and Saturday evenings with family & friends to maximize the potential benefits obtained by enrolling in this course. That is not meant to deter you from enrolling in this excellent program. For those without previous experience in the field I would advise this is a full time job.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. This course is challenging but certainly worth the effort! The instructional staff taught me how to learn new material quickly and independently. As a person who literally thought html was short for hotmail (don't laugh too hard) before bootcamp, I now create fully functional, deployed web applications and teach others how to do the same. If you are willing to put forth the effort of studying 5+ hours a day in addition to class and office hours, then you will absolutely reach greatness. I learned so much in 3 months. Be prepared to give all of your time and life up to the course, but that's what is expected when you sign up for full time! Coming from a completely different field, I learned so much and really felt like i was given the tools to succeed. You get out of the course what you put into the course. You will continue to be pushed to be better and improve on skills. It's a big investment in your future, but I would recommend to anyone who is wanting to break into this field. I especially am thankful for the staff, Jonathan who was the instructor and the TAs- Phil, Leif, and Peter- being online is tough, but they continually went above and beyond to make sure that we had all available resources available.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

The GA Tech Data Science and Analysis course was a great experience! The instructor was very knowledgeable in all of the topics we covered. He was patient and answered every question. He would even take the time to try the coding suggestions we asked about, so we could see the results. The instructor provided real-world examples. He would talk with us, at times individually, about our plans for employment making suggestions when they were applicable. He was very supportive of our in-class activities and aided us in our future careers as data scientists.
The TAs were excellent, as well. They were very patient and extremely supportive working with some of us for hours. They even offered and led an extra study hall outside of office hours for us to review the concepts. They didn't do the work for you, but definitely assisted in guiding us to the answers. We also had access to personal tutors if we needed them. Both the TAs and the instructor would offer outside resources for us to review, learn and reinforce our skills.
I cannot say enough about this great experience! We were taught the leading edge technologies for data scientists and given homework to reinforce what was taught the prior week. We were stretched in that we had to figure out some parts of the homework on our own. We were challenged and held to high expectations.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

I had a great relationship with the instructor and with the TAs (though I wish we had the same TAs throughout the entire 12 weeks) throughout the course. I learned a lot, and had a much better grasp of the languages and tools taught after 12 weeks in this class than I did with Python after a full college semester of that. Furthermore, I have received compliments on the fact that my portfolio has actual projects in it, as many univeristy CompSci graduates apparently leave school with very little with which to practically demonstrate their skills.

This course is fast paced and demanding. But it works and delivers what it promises. As a working professional, mother of a toddler and studying for around 10 hours every week, apart from the in-person classes was a very packed 6 months. It teaches over 15 subjects spanning from data gathering, cleansing , visualizing and creating a story in a meaninful way.
The reason it works is its amazing teachers, support staff and the course structure. The instructors are knowledgeable , experienced and very supportive .The homeworks and projects are designed to enable revision of the lessons and every other subject already taught which ties everything together.
I'm so proud to have finished this course and am so much more confident .

This was my first big step into the world of software development and I don't think I could've made a better decision. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I knew that the course would be rigorous and fast paced, but I was quickly relieved to see that they wanted me to succeed as much as I wanted to. Not only were the instructors top notch, but the TA's were more than willing to go out of their way to help me in any way that they could.
What I appreciated the most out of the bootcamp was that they didn't coddle me through the class. They pushed me towards new ideas and new ways of thinking. They inspired me to want to build and create things on my own. Not only did they teach me WHAT to learn, they taught me HOW to learn, which is something that I'll take into other areas of my life outside of coding and software. I'm not saying that it's going to be easy, I'm saying that it's going to be worth it.

You must be prepared the first day of class. It can be hard to balance if you are working full time but it can be done. You must be willing to work in and out of class. You have to put time aside even on the weekends to get work done. I like the fact we have access to class videos incase we have to go back and to see what we learned in class again.
People that take the cores come from different backgrounds from not knowing anything about programming to engeeners, data scienctists, designers, and programers.
I liked presenting the projects we have made in and out of class. However, I wish we would have had more career fairs.

I attended the Full-Stack Flex part-time program as a way of accelerating my change of career for a number of reasons. My sister was a big part of why I selected this program in particular. Her incredibly positive journey through the program left me confident that I’d learn the skills I needed to take on a career in development. What I learned through my own experiences far surpassed even those expectations. The educational staff of instructors, TAs, career services, and our Student Success Manager made sure we had the resources needed to be successful both during and after the class completion. As if that weren’t enough, the collaboration and friendships I developed with my classmates have lived on even after the class completion. I was a violinist before I attended GT's Boot Camp. After determining that I wanted a career change, I needed a skill set that would make me more competitive in the job market. GT's Boot Camp gave me just that!
I did not have ANY direct background in analytics. Although that meant that the learning curve was quite steep for me, it didn't stop me from getting what I needed. It is important to understand before taking this course that nothing will be handed to you.
The program gives you: instructors, TA's, project experience, extra-curricular information (such as links to meetups in the area), online talks, career coaches, classmates and more. But it is only as good as you make it. You will be the one to hold yourself accountable.
I did not find a job through the program. However, I wouldn't have gotten my new job if it were not for this program. The skills that I learned are directly applicable.
Also, when negotiating my starting salary for my new job, I was able to submit my negotiating statement to a career coach. She happily looked over it and was a tremendous help!
Take advantage of all the tools that they give you! Talk with the people in the program. Get advice from everyone about how they got to where they were. You are given opportunities to practice job interviews. Use them.I would recommend the course to anyone wanting more skills for their current job or someone in my position. Good luck to those wanting to join!

This course is really helpful for new beginners and also for people with beginner level coding experience. The course was very helpful, everything was well explained by our teacher CJ and Hannah. They are very helpful and nice and has good knowledge about how to explain coding in a really easy and understandable way. The TAs would check up on the students at least once or twice a week and they respond really quickly when a help is needed. The course's projects and activities are really well planned. This course is very well orgnized is also demanding. Instructors and TAs are well qualified to help students. In the classroom, we had two instructors and 4 to 6 TAs in the room. We also had 30min pre-class and 30-min after-class hour so I don't recall there was any time I could not get help during the class.
The course gets more difficult as it goes to the end of the course. If you don't have enough JavaScript expeirence, I recommend practicing JavaScript (both ES5 and ES6) before the class begins.
You would want to make sure that you are ahead of the course schedule (this will make you feel more comfortable and ready for each classes). Full 3 months or 6 months scheudle is released on day 1 of scheool day. You should know what exactly you will learn for whole semester so it is pretty easy to find out what you need to be prepared for each classes.
You may also want to do a lot of coding practice with JavaScript whenever you have time. If you have time, you would want to do small projects other than give homeworks if you can. TAs will help you any extra work you are doing. If you just follow the exact course schedule and finish only give homework, the final four weeks of the course for React.js may become big challenge.
It was great learing expeirence for me. I enjoyed, struggled, and learned. Highly recommend this cousre, but you must make sure you are commited for it, seriously.

I wish I would have skipped getting a Bachelors degree and just done this course first. Could have saved soooo much time and money. I graduated recently, and I'm already getting amazing job offers. Of course, you get out of it what you're willing to put in. If you work hard and do everything the instructors and career advisers recommend, you are going to come out of this class ready to get hired as a Web Developer.

I came to Georgia Tech with very little background in CS. I found myself struggling through MOOC programs online and finally decided to take a chance, hoping that in-person instruction might offer deeper foundations and greater motivation. Our cohort began in August 2018, and now, facing the last day of the course looking back, I cannot believe how much we've achieved as a class.
The classroom was made up of CS and biomedical graduates, designers retooling their skills, IT staff, employer-sponsored tech workers, and an array of people like myself who were revisioning their career, keen to become employer-competitive again. I made some amazing friends, who are people I never would have met without this experience, people who impress and surprise me with their curiosity and striking innovation.
My instructional team was truly exceptional in every way. CJ and Hannah are incredibly competent technical workers who stress best practices in group workflow environments and promote highly organized, modular code. CJ's interview prep periods before class were full of smart tricks and clues to help us understand the technical coding interview process and present ourselves in the most authentic, personable and honest way. Hannah is a master at pacing the classroom lecture environment by anticipating confusing material and troubleshooting common errors to make sure we don't fall behind when iterative material stops making sense or we mistakenly drop a step. I always felt we were being supported, seen, and listened to when we were struggling with concepts. If we were falling behind and failing to understand the material, Tatiana would run breakout sessions and remediation to help us stay on track. On top of this, CJ, Hannah, and Tatiana created a playful side project in which classmates formed teams and completed career oriented coding challenges to earn points for their team. Quarterly, we celebrated the victories in the form of the Harry Potter House Cup, complete with thematic prizes and coding workshops (programming bots, hacking/cyber security tutorials, and interactive trivia games to learn our tools/languages). We developed more robust portfolios through the games, pull requests, and blog posts we earned for our teams, motivating everyone to do more and giving us a really great way to bond with our classmates. Towards the end of our course, we even took a dive into CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithmns-specifically hashmaps, binary trees, Big O notation), which was so helpful in foundational learning.
The course material was difficult for a true beginner, I can't deny that. In the beginning, we completed projects week by week, attempting to learn pure Javascript via jQuery, CSS and HTML. Every project slowed to a crawl and took many hours. This is when I was most vulnerable to quitting. Be prepared to spend copious amounts of time to see small changes and then break them over and over. You will spend a lot of time learning how to find your own answers, perfecting the art of the search, and forgetting what you taught yourself. These circular paths become familiar and eventually you can welcome the struggle of breakage, ultimately learning the nuances and behaviors of object-oriented languages. I learned to know/trust myself better through learning to code, learning how I would have approached a problem and evolving to grow beyond that approach. If you are really dedicated to learning a new skill and changing the way you think, I would wholeheartedly recommend this course. It is a big step, but one worth taking.

This course has the potential to be the best investment you will ever make. It also has the potential to be a waste of money. It is certainly a scenario where you get out of it what you put into it. If you are thinking you will merely go to class and be a developer at the end then you are very mistaken. If you spend the hours outside of class to review what was covered and make sure to not fall behind, then the benefits are unmatched. My instructor, Jacob Lamont, was extremely impressive and gave my cohort everything we needed to be successful. It was up to us to apply what he had taught us and master it on our own. I spent 60+ hours a week reviewing each new topic and it was absoutely exhausting - but well worth it. Since graduation, I've had the opportunity to sit with a number of developers with years of experience and computer science degrees to go along with it. When they realize I learned everything I know from a 3 month program, it's honestly kind of comical to see some of their reactions. I've been extended a promotion in the role I was in previously and have had some opportunitys to freelance and grow my portfolio that pay handsomely. It's an experience I will never regret and the benefits are overwhelming. Just be prepared to work.

Left a career of 10 years to be a coder

I had worked in a career for 10 years that had nothing to do with coding and had no tech experience before entering the program. My instructor was Jacob Lamont and I had the best mentor/tutor Esterling Accime. I felt that these two teachers were what made my experience amazing and the main reason I gave it 5 stars overall. They are extremely helpful and will go above and beyond in making sure you will fully understand every aspect of the program and give you not only technical support but advice on how to approach the course if you are struggling. This program is really what you make of it. The more effort you put in the more you will get out of it (stereotypical but true) If you dont plan on putting in all your effort to making sure you understand each topic you are wasting your money. Jacob and Esterling will meet you as far as you want to go step by step.
The Job Assistance I felt like could have been a lot better. It was basic support( review resume, mock behavoral interviews, etc). I was very lucky in that I found a job within 2 weeks of the program, but I know a lot of students in my class had a hard time finding jobs and are still looking for jobs in the field. I felt like it would have been helpful if we had more people in the field of web development involved in the career support. All of the people on the Job Assistance team were not tech people. I took it upon myself to go to meet ups and talk with people in the field about their experience getting there and what helps students like me find jobs coming from a bootcamp and no tech experience and found that helpful. A lot of the finding a job is really reliant on you (as to some extent it should be) and not necessarly the job assistance support. Having a better understanding of what type of role you will typically play in different types of companies such as large vs small or start-ups would have also been helpful. How and where to apply to jobs is also a thing I felt was missing from the Job Assistance. I went to all the career meetings they held and I felt they gave false hope to a lot of the students giving a very high expectation for a lot of us in the course (salary expectations specifically). I also felt they could have given the options of mock tech interviews. Again the Job assistance employees of triology were really nice and I felt they did their best they could but they were never in the tech field and did not give the reality of the how it is to find your first gig out of the bootcamp. I felt that I learned more about this career when I asked my instructor and tutors about their experience in the tech world.

First and foremost, have to praise our teaching team. Jacob, Cody, and Connor were some of the most ridiculously helpful teachers I've ever had in my life, and I've had plenty. Jacod especially, as the lead instructor, knew basically everything and went above and beyond every day to explain and answer questions. I would highly recommend this program just because of them.
A word of caution though: the job assistance is way oversold. The way they tell it, the program connects you to employers actively looking to hire. Instead, it's the same, "Well, if you get an interview, here are some suggestions that may or may not help" generic advice everyone seems to have. Even the student showcase, a hugely touted event, had such a small showing of employers, I'm not even sure any appeared at all.
Furthermore, all the job search stuff it was poorly integrated into the class. The office kept pressuring you to 'make a profile' (which, by the way, is a project you work on outside your normal homework and projects). However, it's so eary on in the course, it's outdated before you even finish. I redid mine several times and never ended up using any of the designs.
TL;DR: the classroom was great. I learned so freaking much in a short amount of time. But when it comes to the job search, don't be fooled. You're definitely on your own.Boot Camp Team of Georgia Tech Boot Camps

Thank you for your review, Joshua! We're happy to hear you felt continually supported by our entire instructional team — we also think Jacob, Cody, and Connor are fantastic. Based on your feedback, we understand you were unsatisfied with your career services experience. During your cohort, there were intermittent syncing issues that affected milestones from being properly submitted by the learner. Although our technical team was able to swiftly resolve this difficulty, we regretfully may have been unable to provide feedback on certain assignments. Our support is built on the principle of empowerment and we do our best to communicate that while we do not secure direct employment for our learners, we work hard to prepare them to step out into the job market.
We are frequently looking to improve our career planning assistance, so we appreciate your input. We would love to speak to you personally to see if there is anything else we can do to reinforce your employment search. If you would like, please reach out to us at (404) 369-3107. Congratulations on graduating, we wish you continued success as you move forward. -

Attending Georgia Tech's Coding Boot Camp was the best decision I could have made for my career! I learned a TON of material, but even more valuable, I learned how to think like a developer. This is a true boot camp, not for the unmotivated. Prospective students should practive typing; get familiar with your terminal (command line); research jobs in web development and get a feel for the technologies being used in modern web development. The boot camp is project driven, and you are responsible for the project concept. If you don't already, brainstorm ideas of websites/apps that you would like to see. You will make them come to life here!

First, I would like to start by saying that this program is not taught by GT professors. It's outsourced to this company called Trilogy. From the beginning, it felt like the program was hurriedly pulled together and the curriculum was an afterthought. The course materials are outdated and filled with errors. I found myself having to constantly look for additional learning materials to fill the many gaps in the curriculum. I would seriously recommend that you research and look at other Data Science and Analytics boot camps. Atlanta has several companies that have money back guarantees and high student job placement rates. Honestly, this boot camp is not work the time or money that I invested.

Great program! Didn't know ANY code when I started. The other reviews are right that nothing is spoon fed, and the strong majority of the material will have to be learned on your own time. It was a very challenging course, and I couldn't have balanced a teaching career this year alongside it. It was that time-consuming. I am graduating tomorrow, and I have two coding-related interviews lined up for this week. I am hoping that these will be stepping stones to even greater careers (I've seen it happen with other graduates from the program!). This program is what you make of it, and you get out what you put in since most of it is self-learning. But it was the great Isaac Asimov that said, "Self-education is, I believe, the only kind of education there is."

I decided to enroll in Georgia Tech's Coding Boot Camp to further my career. I currently work for a software company that provides document management to governmental services. I work closely with developers testing our software and website that is utilized by our clients.
What I like about the program:
You don't need a prior background in development, though it would help, and you will actually learn how to become a full stack web developer. Even if you are only interested in certain aspects of the program, you will be forced to learn a little bit of everything. In the end, this will only benefit you. The instructor and TAs I had were awesome. They were always there to answer questions or to just shoot the breeze. You can really tell they love what they are doing. There is nothing worse than when your instructor isn't personable or acts like they don't want to be there. From my experience, there was a true passion there, and it will make you want to succeed. There are also tutors available to you whenever you need them. So, there shouldn't be an excuse as to why you didn't learn the material.
You will also have access to everything you have done in class. This includes exercises and videos of classes. This comes in really handy when you're trying to remember certain aspects of what you learned. The educational repository they provide is wonderful.
I personally did not utilize the job assistance they provide to you along the way. I'm looking to move up within my current company, so this is one aspect of the program I can't really speak on. I can only tell you that from what I've been told by my peers. They help you build your online portfolio and get you ready for interviews.
What I don't like about the program:
It wouldn't be a proper review unless there are cons listed. My one main issue with the class is that you only learn a little bit of everything. While that's a plus, it's also a detrement. Once you feel like you're grabbing a hold of what you're doing, you switch gears rapidly and move on to another topic. While I fully understand why the course is set up this way, it could be a draw back as much as a selling point. There is just so much to learn, there is no way to fit it into 6 months.
This is for the future students:
I don't intend to scare you away from the program, but there is A LOT of work. That's if you actually want to learn. Be prepared to put in 20-40 hours per week, outside of the 10 hours of class time per week, if you want to succeed. And I don't mean succeed as in get an A in the course. I mean succeed as in to actually learn. There is so much information on each topic that you will have to digest and figure out how to implement it. This course is not for the faint of heart. If you're anything like me, and I hope you're not, you will put in 30-40 hours per week outside of class time. I'm sure the normal student puts in 15-20, but I've found that this is not nearly enough to be successful. This is also coming from a person that has little prior knowledge of the information being taught.
With all of that being said, if you're married, your wife/husband may hate you for the next 6 months. You'll spend more time with variables and functions than with them. In the end though, I personally feel that it was worth it. You'll meet great people, learn something you never thought you could, and you'll have fun doing it. Well, you'll have fun most of the time ; ).

I shopped around for a while before I decided on the Georgia Tech. It seems to be, and was the most comprehensive course for my timeline. I did the Flex program as it worked best for me and allowed me to digest lessons between classes
The course was very challenging and informative for me as a first time developer. Curriculum structure covered all the skills categories of Full Stack Development some more than others, the basics were there. The lectures were very informative, and much of the work was done outside of class.
The Career Support and Virtual Assistance via webinar were very resourceful also. As my primary objective was not employment, but overall marketability, I have not found employment as developer. However, the mock interview sessions, resume review, periodic one-one career counseling even after graduation have been very beneficial to my overall marketability.

This course does a great job of teaching one how to become a modern Web Developer.
I came into the class with a minor in Computer Science, and looking to make a change into Web Development. The curriculum starts off with an introduction to the basics of computing and then moves quickly through the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Given that I had a decent background in programming fundamentals, I was a little worried that I'd be bored in the early stages, but the pacing and design of the course allows for students of all backgrounds to succeed. For those a little more advanced, you not only have the opportunity but are actively encouraged to push beyond what is strictly covered in class and really get into the depths of what it is to learn JavaScript. This becomes especially true as the class goes on, with the sheer amount of frameworks and libraries that are taught. It's impossible for a course to go into the full potential of everything that is covered, especially of something like React, and discovering the nuances of what is possible was the most rewarding aspect for me personally.
I can't speak to the career services aspect of the course, as I was already employed and did not engage in them, but I do know of several people from my cohort who are working as developers using knowledge learned in this course.
