I had the pleasure of going through the onboarding process at my new job, and I can confidently say that it was an enjoyable and rewarding experience. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed by the team, and they made me feel like a valued member of the organization. The onboarding process was well-structured, informative, and engaging, which made it easy to adapt to my new role.
One of the highlights of my onboarding experience was getting to know my colleague, Jr and Mr. Shelton. Mr. Jr was not only a great mentor but also an excellent conversationalist. We had numerous opportunities to bond and share our thoughts and ideas. These interactions not only helped me learn more about the company's culture and values but also allowed me to build a strong professional relationship with Jr.
The sense of camaraderie and support I received during the onboarding process made it even more enjoyable. It was clear that the company values its employees and invests in their growth and development. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better onboarding experience, and I look forward to continuing to work with Jr Shelton and the rest of the team as we collaborate and contribute to the company's success. -

The day I received a phone call from J.R. I thought it was a scam, so I responded with a fake name, I can tell through the phone he knew I was lying, yet he still continue with his introduction. Once he finish I confess and told him my real name and he laughed and said Oh I understand. I say all of that to say, From the time I spoke with J.R. I knew I was in great hands. I felt as if I was already a part of the family. I am very impress on how fast I was able to start my onboarding and get my elevate email. The process of getting started was no trouble at all and I had help every step of the way. Thank you to Valery and Luisana for being so patient with me throughout my onboarding. -

Great staff, from the gate they are looking to help people who have interest in entering the tech field into a position that is in high demand and looking to make good income. Alex is great at giving all the info needed to people who are on the fence about joining and who want to fully understand the opportunities provided by elevate. I like that they are focused on teaching how to get started with a hands on approach with the things you will be doing in the related jobs. -

I have contemplated multiple times whether or not I should write this, but I feel the need to share my experiences. I joined Elevate in the summer of 2021 with the promise of making $80k. However, I was overpromised and underdelivered and the commitments made to me were not fulfilled. Initially, I enrolled under a $25k Income Share Agreement (ISA) contract, which was later discontinued due to legal issues arising as well as negative social media attention from a former instructor's attack on a competitor. Elevate was being sued by some members because ISAs are not legal in certain US states.
As a result, the CEO asked me to create a timeline and potentially testify in the lawsuit. In my final week in February 2022, I received a sudden email notice only two hours before an ambush meeting with the CEO and there attorney. I believe this was done out of fear that I would take legal action against them. It was one of the most frightening moments of my life. Although I remained calm and polite on the outside, I was terrified internally. When asked by the attorney if I was happy at Elevate, I lied and said yes.
Furthermore, I had an abusive mentor who had been fired from a competitor Boot Camp and had only six months of professional SDR experience. This mentor made my life miserable. They prohibited me from reaching out and working with sales leaders on LinkedIn or posting on LinkedIn, constantly emphasized the goal of finding any job instead of the perfect one, threatened to expel me from the boot camp, kick me out of class sessions, canceled meetings with me, and displayed overall rude and abusive behavior. Despite sharing my concerns with others at Elevate, including the CEO, everyone ignored me turned a blind eye and no action was taken.
Under pressure from this abusive mentor, I was even coerced and forced into accepting a 1099 commission-only job without a contract at a controversial company. Thankfully, two good employees who were hired later fought for me and prevented this unethical business practice. I managed to escape the ISA agreement, as they recognized the unprofessional and unethical and even inhumane nature of the service they provided. It has been a year and a half since I left Elevate and almost a year since I cut ties with the CEO and blocked them and everyone associated with elevate. However, I continue to suffer mentally from the events that transpired, and it still affects me on a daily basis.
If anyone from elevate reading this cares, please refrain from making promises you cannot keep, and exercise better vetting when hiring mentors and staff members. When students raise complaints or face issues, take action rather than ignoring them.
My experience at Elevate has left me forever mentally damaged with no passion to pursue a career as an SDR anymore. -
