I wanted to make the most of the lockdown and took a suggestion from my brother to get into coding. After some self teaching I stumbled onto DigitalCrafts. To be honest I never thought it would be so informative and impactful. The teachers were always available and strived to make sure we continued to grow. After recently graduating I feel doors are opening left and right. I went from barely being able to read Javascript to building a full react website in a day. I highly suggest this course. I truly feel I learned two years worth of info in a little over 6 months. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself, the end goal really made this all worth it. -

My teachers were amazing and worked well as a team. Both had different teaching styles that complimented each other and also offered different aspects of the curriculum to the students. It was hard. It was alot to absorb, especially during a pandemic/election year. Also being one of the first fully online classes due to the pandemic, there were some bugs that needed to be worked out. Overall I was very happy with what we learned. -

Great Fully Remote Bootcamp
DigitalCrafts' curriculum covers the tech stack that companies are searching for and the professors are great! Thoroughly enjoyed the 26 weeks and honestly I am missing spending my Saturday's with the DC crew. It is a lot of work, but is still doable with a full time job. I am confident in my skills that I developed through DC and I feel prepared for my career change. 10/10 recommend. -

I recently graduated from the DigitalCraft Full Stack immersive program. Overall, I found it to be a great experience, and I learned so much in a short time. Our instructor, Azam, was exceptional and our DIR, Nathan, always went above and beyond to help us. Each day we reviewed the previous day’s work, had a lecture on a new topic, and then had the afternoon to complete the course work. I appreciated that for each assignment, we were offered a “hard version” so that if we finished our work before the end of class, we could challenge ourselves to learn even more. During the course, we completed four projects for our portfolio and worked with the career services team to craft a resume, online portfolio, and social media presence highlighting our past accomplishments as well as our new tech skills. I greatly appreciate Angela spending time with us all one on one to help us create a personalized approach to job hunting and helping me update my resume even after the class was done. As I took the course remotely and don’t live in Atlanta or Houston, where DC has an large employer network, I was a little concerned about the actual job hunt. However, they do share remote job opportunities with graduates, and in the few weeks since the program ended, I have been able to set up several interviews for both remote and local jobs. -

The way to go

Digitalcrafts is the way to go. Before coming to digital crafts like lots of others I tried to go the self taught route. The problem was that there was so much to learn and so many different people teaching. They problem way that I was stuck watching people talk about different skills and I could copy them but I could never understand anything, it never just clicked. Then I found Digitalcrafts and it all changed. With the help of my amazing instructor Lachlan and my dirs I was able to start grasping concepts, they say you have to code in order to understand and that’s exactly what we did and it didn’t feel like a tutorial the whole time as soon as we learned something we implemented it. This is what allowed my to go from a little code to actually understanding how web apps work and understanding what my role would be at a company. I looked at a lot of bootcamps and I know that DC isn’t the cheapest but it’s worth every penny. Unfortunately because of this years events we had to go remote, but DC pulled it off and there was no fall off in terms of education Quality, so if that’s your concern don’t be concern DC has lots of great instructor and great admin staff all ready to help at the drop of a dime. And you will have everything you need for a job by the time you are done. Enjoy your course!!! -

I completed the 16 week Full Stack Immersive online course due to COVID-19 and had a good experience. My instructor was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. The school is good, but I recommend it only if you already have a good experience in programming. I had none and a lot of the time I felt I was lagging behind. If you have at least a little experience, you will enjoy the course in a better way. -

Having some SQL and data analytics knowledge from my grad school, it was a nice hands-on experience to practically apply the queries to pull and modify data to the desired format. Joining tables to create a master table directly from the database will help save a lot of time as well. In addition to this the data visualization techniques using PowerBI will help improve presentations to our customers as well. Overall a great effort by DigitalCrafts and looking forward to more training sessions with them! -

SQL and Power BI Overview
This 4 day class taught the basics of SQL and Power BI with a mix of theory and real world examples. I feel well-equipped to access the data I need and create useful outputs in Power BI. DigitalCrafts did a good job creating customized curriculum for my business and accommodating people in the training who learned at different speeds. -

The SQL training class that DigitalCrafts provided to us is the best training experience I had. The special thing is that this company built the content of the class really based on our specific needs (data source, what query we need to have our desired outputs, etc). This is making our training useful for our work. I can immediately use what I learned from the training in my work! and the instructor is very well-prepared and very knowledgeable. Love this training! -

This is class was an excellent introduction to SQL. The instructor was good at communicating the concepts and working through the curriculum at an appropriate pace for those learning SQL for the first time. Also, the course was tailored to our company and which made the class exercises relatable to the type of analysis that our group performs and the ways in which we can apply our new knowledge. -

Overall, I had a positive experience with DigitalCrafts. The main thing I try remember when reflecting on my experience is how I literally knew nothing getting started compared to now where I feel confident in my skills to build something and figure out how to work through challenges. Sometimes I wish the curriculum was more focused, but i was part of the early cohort during Covid that went online. So, I think there was a bit of a transition there for how the instructors normally taught. -

I enjoyed taking this course. I only knew what SQL was but never used it. And this course helped me use SQL to analyze data. Here is the list of things I liked about this course:
-the instructor is very knowledgeable about the material
-it started with a good basic intro which helped me set up a good foundation.
-Good flow of course without wasting time
-Covered a lot of material in a short period of time
-Helped individually so we all understood it properly
-provided notes, exercises and class recording so we could revise on our own
At the end of the course I am able to write simple to complex queries in SQL, understand it, and execute. -

Great job on SQL training
I had great experience with the 2-week company SQL training with DigitalCrafts. The course is customized and designed to fit our daily work. instructor Michael is very knowledgeable and delivered great contents on how to write practical SQL queries that can be used directly later on. I look forward to learning new coding skills with DigitalCrafts in the future! -

Full-Stack Immersive Program
Overall a great experience. The instructors are very skilled and the career support team is great. I would definitely recommend DC to anyone who is looking into coding bootcamps. It is very challenging at times and you will have to spend time outside of class to work on things in order to fully grasp the technology concepts. -

DigitalCrafts has a great fullstack training program. I was in the July 2020 immersive course which was also remote. I enjoyed being able to safely learn and have access to all the resources that I needed. DigitalCrafts has excellent career services support and a curriculum that supports modern fullstack web development. -

DigitalCrafts does everything the can to make sure that you succeed. From a really solid curriculum to career and interview prep, you learn the skills needed to advance in the world of web development. I was able to not only learn the technologies and languages that were taught during my time but learned how to learn code so I can expand my knowledge with other aspects of software development. Would recommend that anyone who is trying to learn on their own and gets distracted easy by a shiny new technology really consider taking this bootcamp. The structure and coding fundamentals really help you progress a whole lot faster than trying to learn on your own. -

If you are reading this review, I think you are ready to become a software engineer.
get ready for the hard work, long hour days nights and weekends - in return, a new career - software engineer.
time invested in the program is definitely worth it!
ask a lot of questions, don't be afraid of asking questions, your classmates are probably and most likely stuck on the same thing you just asked.
practice, practice, and more practice.
start networking early, find the teammates early, and do a lot of pair programming.
Good luck with your journey! -

Great educators and excellent support
I took the flex class at the new campus and was amazed how desiccated staff and lecturers are towards their students. They are fully supportive of students career goals and mold their teaching styles to accommodate for each students unique learning personality. I would recommend! -

I spent a lot of time debating on if a coding bootcamp was worth it before joining DigitalCrafts. I had doubts and wondered if they could actually make a novice into a junior software engineer in such a short span of time. Short version, absolutely, IF you are committed before and after your cohort.
I went through many reviews and it was clear that DigitalCrafts was one of the top rated programs. I went further though, and found some current students and alumni from the program in hopes of hearing about their experience firsthand. I was surprised that everyone I reached out to not only responded, but raved about the program. At that point, I was sold and started the program in September 2019.
Ultimately, I'm so glad that I took that jump. Mandatory in-person classes foster strong relationships within the cohort, and, most importantly, accountability. Attendance is strict and expectations are high. While instructors are always available for help (before, during and after class) no one holds your hand. You are expected to keep up and ask questions when you're feeling lost. For me, tis meant dedicating at least 15 hours outside of class time per week to fully grasp the material. This is not the program for those who are not able and/or willing to put in the effort and time to succeed. For me, it was the perfect environment.
In the past, I tried to self-teach and stick with it. However, I never gained much with the "tutorial" type lessons and step by step boilerplate projects that websites like Treehouse offer. The only way to truly learn how to code is to build something on your own from the ground up without the crutch of a ready-made project provided by tutorial-based services.
After joining the program, we were building things (mostly breaking, rebuilding and re-breaking) within two weeks. My amazing instructors and DIRs (Developer-in-Residence) were there to put me back on track and provide support when needed. That teaching methodology gave me superhuman confidence once I finally built my first functioning project. I found myself chasing that feeling throughout my time in the program and can see myself continuing to chase it for the rest of my development career. Once you actually build something and can make it work, the feeling of personal achievement is unreal.
Personally, I needed more time after my cohort ended to go over past materials and focus on some of my weaker points. The program is face-paced, so making a note on topics to revisit after the cohort ends is smart. You have access to your cohort's materials (class recordings, assignments, etc.) indefinitely after the program ends, so having access to past material in order for me to improve certain skills before entering the job market was a huge bonus.
Lastly, I've never felt more a part of a community than I did/do with DigitalCrafts. The team is supportive before, during and after the program. The alumni network is extensive and we all root for each other. Entering the tech world is daunting, so that support is crucial. There are also career advisors who have been very present and helpful.
As you've read, there are no job guarantees (I question any bootcamp that makes these promises) but there is ample opportunity. Everyday, their career advisors reach out with new opportunities and are always willing to aid with your current or future job search. I have seen numerous success stories and have yet to see someone unable to enter the tech field at a junior level.
Lastly, it will take a lot of time and work (two key concepts for this entire journey) to be complete this rigorous program but for me it was more than worth it.

DigitalCrafts is an excellent bootcamp, from the first day to the last. If you're someone like me you can go from having zero coding experience to being able to build websites and applications. It's not a walk in the park but if you stay focused and work hard you'll be amazed at how much you can learn. How I view websites and applications has changed into the perspective of a developer. They have taught me not only how to code but also how to teach myself and find the right resources. -

Six months of instruction, 3 times a week and so much to learn. DigitalCrafts broke down the path to becoming a full stack web developer and allowed me to understand everything that was taught in that classroom.
Before enrolling in this boot camp, I've mostly dabbled in online courses but I always felt lost afterwards since I just followed instructions via video or text. But now that I've completed the course with DigitalCrafts, I learned that the feedback and the in-person discussions and instruction went a long way in helping me really imbibe what was taught.
The instructors were very competent and helpful and the review of your resume and portfolio gave me a better insight on how to improve my job search. -

Was nervous when i started but once class started, DC was great in helping and assist me when going through challenging instances through out the class. At the end, i felt confident in my skills and it felt great to be able to have an idea and be able to make it happen. Instructors and DiRs (Developers in residence) were very helpful through out. You won't be be able to learn EVERYTHING in software development but you'll gain the skills and techniques needed to learn it all. A little steep of a learning curve for me initially but once i caught up, i felt more comfortable. -

I highly recommend attending the DigitalCrafts fulls stack immersive bootcamp for anyone, thinking about doing a career change or to just simply get the full understanding of software development. Our instructor, Chris, was amazing, understanding, patient, fun and really knew how to explain everything from scratch while keeping everyone focused and entertained! -

I learned a fair amount from DigitalCrafts (not without a few extra work being put in outside the course). I do think I could have learned just as much by paying for a private tutor and teaching myself from other online resources. Overall I would reccomend DigitalCrafts. It can provide some useful resources like how to build a resume and portfolio geared towards a programming field and helpful job opportunities.

The course is very fast paced. I will say that I had trouble in the beginning and doubted if I was able to finish it. It wasn't till half way through the course that I found the confidence to continue. I'm sure you hear negative reviews, that you can learn this on your own. Theres tons of free online tutorials. Which is true, and if your are a self learner, that can work out for you. But I've always excelled in a classroom environment, hearing a lecture and being shown an example. I've tried learning online, but there's only so much reading you can do before all the words start blurring together. Plus in a classroom, there are ppl to help give you a guiding hand or lead you to the right path for the solution. I have enjoyed my experience here at Digitalcrafts, its a very supportive environment. The teachers and aids are very knowledgeable, and if they don't have the answer, they can help you look in the right direction. Basically, you get what you put in. You give this course your all, you'll get the most of it. Its all about how much effort you put in. There has been so much growth in all of the members of the class that have made it through.

As an educator (former Teacher and Middle School Assistant Principal) I was looking for a way to make a greater impact in the lives of students on a larger scale. I sought to acquire a set of skills that would allow me to be creative, engaging, and relevant in the edTech environment. I researched and visited programs in the Houston area, and Digital Crafts was the best fit for me. The Immersive Program has great instructors and curriculum that aligned with my career goals. In a matter of weeks, I went from knowing little about coding to executing full FrontEnd development. Everything I learned in the program accompanies me in my entrepreneurial endeavors to build educational platforms. This was a great experience for me and was well worth the investment.

I greatly enjoyed my time at DigitalCrafts. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
If you are looking for a bootcamp in Atlanta I seriously couldn't recommend it more. In 16 weeks I actually feel that I have learned so much and I'm ready to start my career as a full stack web developer.
My only demerit goes toward the Job Assistance category- they're not going to find you a job explicitly but they do give you all of the tools to get a job.

I had tried to go back to college to pick up programming skills, they were more interested in selling me a degree that I didn't need. I called a friend asked him if it was worth it to get a degree. He not only said it wasn't worth it, but he ever went back to college, he would get a degree in business. I dropped all my classes like hot potatoes. DigitalCrafts was the best decision I ever made.
