    Fastest way to learn programming

I simply wanted to become a developer and searched for the fastest way to do it. Via a friend I found Craft Academy and here I am. It's a challenging and tough experience but I am so happy that I did it, and I learned more than I could imagine.

    Hybrid designer?

I'm a designer who was looking to broaden my skillset. Having graduated from the bootcamp, I've discovered that back-end web development also is a creative endeavour. I can now take on other types of projects, both professionally and personally. As a student, you will be challenged on a daily basis. Try to train yourself to talk about your understanding of your code and implementations as you go through the prep course. A word of advice, try to stay at the same pace as the coaches, even wh...

Repetition is the path to mastery

If you're self-driven and able to face seemingly insurmountable problems this bootcamp is for you.

Coaches will be there for you but you must accept a constant process of not being able to understand what you're doing until you repeat it a certain amount of times.

Enroll if you really want to understand the wolrd of a developer and if you're ready to give everything you've got for 12 weeks.

    Best decision I ever made!

I am 31 one years old and I needed a change after seven years in the television buisness. Programming runs in my family so my brothers got to pick the course for me. I was scared. I was excited. My self esteem went up and down.

But I am proud to say that I now see myself as a junior developer, after just 12 weeks! And I had never written a line of code in my life!

The coaches relentless work to make their students into the best developer they can be is, in my opinio...

    Changed my life

12 weeks of high-paced, overwhelming challenges and I loved every second of it!

A coding bootcamp is not for everyone, it takes a certain kind of dedication to endure the constant feeling of "crap, I don't know anything" or "how is it even possible to do ALL this in 12 weeks???". But, guess what, it is doable and managable, and no matter how hard it feels it is worth it.

As for Craft Academy, amazing coaches!!! They are dedicated and available almost 24h a day to help, ...

    Prepared to work in development

Craft Academy's twelve-week program was arguably the most stressful and challenging three months of my entire life. The coding was great fun and it's always exciting and rewarding to grow a skillset. My major challenges were with the "soft skills" taught in the course - collaboration, working with remote colleagues / teachers, implementing planning tools and techniques. But the fact of the matter is no one can build anything of worth sitting alone in their basement with their laptop. I'm v...

    A life changing experience

I have been a CraftAcademy student from June to September 2016, followed their PrepCourse from April and enjoyed every minute of it.

It is a very intense course that takes all your time, energy and attention, but it is well worth all of it.

I came in as a Molecular Biologist and after only 12 weeks I could scaffold and deploy my own web applications, search for solutions indipendently and succesfully but I have also learned how to work in group, pair and ask for help in...

Not a good experience for me.

I'm surprised about the high ratings for this course. I paid $10,000 to work with very little help or guidance. I would suggest if you are interested in this course to save money and check out an udemy course first. You can find many with the same curriculum that craft academy offers and also have a community connected with them so you aren't alone while completing the online course.
It's nice how wide the curriculum is. You do learn about other areas in a developers career but it's n...

    Learn coding in 12 weeks

After 16 years in the same industry I decided that it was time to do something else. I fell for Craft Academy since it was hands on programming from day one. I enjoyed the setup with pair programming because it gives you a good practice to work with different people, share ideas and help each other out. Even though I was informed before I started that it was going to be hard I could not imagine how hard it turned out to be. At the end things started to fall into place and I realized how mu...
