I recently completed the User Experience (UX) Bootcamp at BrainStation's Shoreditch Campus, and I had a great time learning and conversing with my peers and teachers. The experience was enlightening and enriched my understanding of UX design considerably.
First and foremost, the caliber of the instructors was outstanding. Their profound knowledge and evident passion for UX design made the learning experience exceptional. Their real-world insights and industry expertise added depth to the curriculum. Furthermore their feedbacks in 1 to 1 were quite helpful in improving my craft and motivated to push myself.
Furthermore, the collaborative aspect of the bootcamp (such as the sprints that we had to undertake) was invaluable. Collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds fostered a multifaceted approach to problem-solving and encouraged creative thinking. -

Overall a very positive experience of the data-science bootcamp. The lectures were well structured and offered a comprehensive walk from SQL and data cleaning to Neural Networks and AWS. The quality and industry knowledge of the instructors was excellent, which was invaluable in giving context to the material. Weekly assignments were great for practicing code implementation. I would highly recommended. -

The data science bootcamp was well-structured and delivered to a very high standard. The educators are experienced and committed to ensuring student success. One of the most challenging but, at the same time, highly enriching parts of the course - is the individual student project, which helps to start building your professional portfolio. Overall, there is a good balance between theoretical and practical knowledge. Fantastic London campus! Very happy I committed to this bootcamp! -

Awesome experience! Both the lead instructors in data science were excellent and the course was well structured. Course is intense in terms of time commitment and workload, but community is supportive. Course covers a lot of breadth, lots of ground covered in 3 months -

Immersive, thorough, and Intense
This bootcamp was no joke! Try to come prepared with some basic UX knowledge and practice using Figma. My peers were awesome and I learned so much in the 3 months I was there. Their sole mission is to get job-ready by the end of the cohort. -

The real value at BrainStation is in the staff and educators who do everything in their power to make sure you feel supported and ready every step of the way. Their help in and outside of the classroom was invaluable. That said, your experience is ultimately what you make of it. More input on your end equates to more and better feedback from the instructors. BrainStation is a great place to gain a solid base of knowledge to kickstart a career in tech. -

Worth it!
This course really is designed to equip you with knowledge of the industry so you can go get a job. While sometimes the instructors weren't of the highest quality, they have people with different industry experience that were able to pull from personal experience when they taught. Overall, would recommend. -

I took the Data Analytics course at BrainStaion and I very much enjoyed my experience. We learned the basics of data retrieval, processing and analysis. The classes took place in-person in NYC. The class schedule worked for me as I could attend after work. The instructor was awesome and very good at explaining on a higher level as well as breaking down the concepts for us. The class setup was good, and the office overall was renovated so it was a great experience. After a couple classes of intro, we were encouraged to think about our final projects for submission. We had to choose a good-quality data set, get it approved by the instructor, and manipulate it using MySQL, pose questions about the dataset and work to find the answers, draw conclusions, visualize the insights using Tableau, and communicate the findings. The course concluded with a final project presentation to my fellow classmates. I learned a lot, and recommend it if you'd like an intro class. Note that this is not an engineering-school grade course and only exposes you to basic concepts. -

I haven't had a chance to process the experience as yet, however, there was a lot of material compressed in a short period of time. I can certainly say that it pushed me to learn Figma and try out design ideas and actually take action on getting some skills in usability rather than think about it (What if? Should I?, Is it Hard or Not so Bad?). Now I know a lot more than I did 8 weeks back! And I actually enjoyed most of it. Instructors and class mates were great. Overall it was an 8/10. I just think that I have so many more questions now, and I see areas that I want to learn more about. I wish that we had more time, but I went from someone who had a hazy idea what a wireframe was to someone who can quickly draw one in 2 months. Hmm thats not too bad at all. -

Great Intro Experience
The certificate program for UX Design covered many topics over the short amount of time given. It was very interesting and fun to learn with the many aspects of UX Design, however it is more on the fast-paced side of things so if you’re a slow learner it might be difficult. Time management is crucial with this course and it may be hard if your time management skills need work. -

Digital Marketing
Very lively classroom and learning environment. The instructors that I had were professionals in the field and made the course engaging. This felt like an introduction to digital marketing and there was lots of content. Wish we had more time to dive into all the high level topics and go into more tactics and tips and tricks. -

Brainstation - Digital Marketing Course
The Digital Marketing Course provides a high-level overview of digital marketing activities. It is a good a good introduction for anyone who does not have a business/marketing background and who is now in a marketing role. The project helps with putting all the pieces together, although again it is rather high level, perfect for my needs but maybe not for others. -

The instructors and the institute are fantastic. It was a very low-pressure experience in deciding to take the course, and I felt I was well informed by the team before choosing. I took the three week introductory cybersecurity course as a way to test out if it would be a good fit for me. The instructors are industry professionals and it is obvious that they love what they do. Not only that, but they are clearly passionate about helping the right people join the cybersecurity realm. Overall an amazing 3 month class that helped me solidify the decision to change careers and apply to college.
They also have a bootcamp that I was looking into as well, but as of right now I have not signed up yet. -

Great course! Instructors were really helpful and knowledgeable. Overall it was very organized, well run and resourced, and fun. There was a lot of focus on applicability to the workplace, so it was very practical. Pace was very quick - would recommend an 8 week course for true beginners and the 4 week course for those with a bit of background knowledge. Would definitely recommend BrainStation to anyone looking to up skill :) -

Pretty good
I think it was a good overview of some of the important skills required for a career in Data Science. It was definitely pretty intense near the end, but I learned a lot. The focus on python was very appreciated. They desperately need a professional to teach their AI Ethics class. That class, consisting in a single 2 hour "discussion period" was not good. -

I found this course so helpful and thought the instructor and his lead did a great job of pace and with overall presentation.
Incredibly professional, patient and able to work with my classmates at all levels. Also the networking is really helpful on events, you will have the opportunity to meet new people every event that happens every 2 weeks.
I learned a lot, really helpful and great teacher! Her knowledge is really valuable. It’s a lot of material to cover in 10 weeks, the last week felt rushed. But still exceeded expectations, great learning experience and great content. Good pace, good content, good support – really enjoyable and informative.

This is the second course for me at Brain Station. This course is quite difficult for me as I don't have statistical or programming background like other students in class. The instructors went through the material quickly. Extra time outside of class is required to get through and understand the material. Sometimes, the assignments for each class is different from what the class notes is about. No assignments are required to be handed in. -

Overall, I enjoyed my instructors - Deyvison and Paras. However, the amount of content they wanted to cover across the 8 classes was too optimistic, which I felt resulted in very surface topics covered for each topic and software. And in turn, we don't have enough skills to support our final project. We could've spent less time on intro to data (ex. the useful case etc.), and focused more on the hard skills. It would be helpful if the course was a longer. -

After speaking with the BrainStation learning advisors and gaining an understanding of what to expect from taking their Software Engineering bootcamp, I can safely say as a graduate that the program has delivered beyond expectations. Within a few months of completing the program and with no prior professional experience in the field, I have now gained employment as a working software engineer thanks to the curriculum, instructors and network I have gained. -

Amazing way to dive into the world of Ai
I have recently finished the BrainStation AI 5week course and the experience was just great. We explored the foundations of AI and got high-level understanding of different types of AI and how they work under the hood. The most fun part was learning how to create good prompts for gen AI and applying the learning in a hands on project. -

However, the only minor drawback was the compact timing, which left us wanting more as they couldn't delve into all the details. -

This is a good course to take in order to learn the basics of UX Design. Gives you a baseline understanding of the concepts applied in User Experience, and how they are applied to designs. Focused on conducting research and applying feedback all related to a final project of a prototype. -

I started this course with basic knowledge of SQL and afraid to use it. This course gave me the tools to try to work with the language and move forward. The use of the data analytics software was the highlight of the course. I used tableau back in 2013 and it was not easy to use, but today with the knowledge I acquire and I can set up this for the company I work for and use other data analytics tools too with more confidence. -

I really enjoyed the collaborative work environment and the review of basic concepts. I really wish the class duration was longer. Maybe another month or two to cover SQL in more depth! The course also had an amazing instructor, and I can't say enough positive things about her. -

Great certificate course for people who are interested in what goes into product management as a career, especially for those that do not have direct access to a product management role within their current job.
Super fast-paced and requires a lot of at-home work to pull together the final.
My only critical piece of feedback is that it would have been nice to see an example final project before we began working on ours. The final project template provided by Brainstation didn't align with what our instructors told us to pull together -- it was definitely a good guide but it would have been nice to see an example project to really ground ourselves into what makes a good presentation, especially for those who are totally new to product management. -

The instructors had extensive experience in the field and were able to impart expert advice when it came to interview for Product Management jobs as well as the most important things to pay attention to in the course material to excel in the role. If you are interested in pursuing a career in Product Management I would highly recommend this course as I feel I have a solid foundation to start applying for and interviewing for such roles. -

I recently completed a Product Management course at Brainstation and it was great. The instructors did amazingly well explaining theoretical concepts and including real-life examples so that the concepts are really easy to follow and understand. I appreciate that the instructors also bring in different perspectives in class, knowing that the PM career path and experience isn't the same across different companies and industries. I also enjoy that they send further reading, such as videos and articles, after class, to learn more and dive deeper into certain class topics.
In terms of the class format, i love that there are activities included in between class instruction to help us apply the concepts being taught. Despite there's quite a bit of work that needs to be done for the final project, I love that we get to present it and get constructive feedback from the instructors to further learn and apply the concepts being taught in class.
All in all, I enjoy this experience and would highly recommend for somebody looking to transition into product management. -
