The course is pretty comprehensive. It's a huge amount of material fit into 3 months, including both the technical and jobsearch material. They walk you through all the concepts, and give you some very helpful notebooks for future reference.
There's a good sense of community here too, everyone is motivated and hard-working, and despite being online, you really won't feel alone going through it.
Highly recommended. -

I the beginning of the bootcamp I did not believe that I was able to accomplished so many things during the 12 weeks. After completing the bootcamp I have learned so many different concepts.
In addition, the experience with the real world examples during the classes helped a lot in my leaning process.
The assignments could look difficult in the beginning, but once you understand that this is exactly what you will do in your future job, you find enough motivation to go through it and do a wonderful job.

Experienced and up to date instructors, great staff support, resourceful networking events and excellent content prepared. Fast paced though, I would prefer in person so that the instructors could see the students needs and support them individually. -

*Before starting, I want to make a mental health note* If you have anxiety or struggle with perfectionism/etc, I recommend taking time to get your anxiety-management tools ready before you start.* The course really will feel like you just learned 1-2 years of content inside of 10 weeks. I think the most important thing incoming students can do to succeed is to make a work plan with all of the due dates laid out first, always be looking ahead, and always be looking for inspiration/outside sources so you can bring your best work while you have a dedicated Ed Team/Cohort to present to. This course is mainly an opportunity to be challenged, and to learn from the Ed team's experiences/inputs. And in the end, you will have a wildly large network to work within in your job search. I don't want to use the phrase "you get out what you put in" because I think it suggests those who don't feel like they thrived in this course didn't put in the work, and that's not a fair assessment; This course has an aggressive timeline and an aggressive workload. See it as an opportunity to ask questions, and to push the boundaries of what you think you are capable of. -

A deluge of knowledge
This program is packed full with a lot of information. The schedule will be very rigorous and it's best not to juggle this program with anything else because there will be many long hours. You will however come out with projects for your portfolio, a strong network community, and a good amount of new friends/cohorts. -

My experience with BrainStation has been nothing short of amazing. My instructors (Emma J. & Hamza E.) were incredibly knowledgeable, offered thought-provoking lesson plans and engaged our cohort to work together on our journey through Product Management. I feel better equipped to make the career shift into Product having spent the last 10 weeks enhancing my knowledge base and skill set. The lessons were thorough and could be easily applied to real-world use cases--every step in the course was meaningful. I could not have made a better decision than to join BrainStation and I look forward to engaging with the alumni network & discover new courses to join. -

I didn't know what to expect coming into this course. I wanted to reconfirm and give myself a structure of the product management and product lifecycle by actually undertaking the each step in the process. I will say that is exactly what this course enabled me to do. Starting from actual strategic review and conceptual thinking and then rolling up my sleeves and actually doing the work from inception to product delivery - I'd say this was a great experience. The course instructors actually practice what they preach and can provide real-life context. Having some product exposure from my career from various roles myself; I can say that they touch on accurate concepts. Thought leadership, context and continuous learning opportunities all make BrainStation a good value. The two instructors are also very friendly, personable and can break down complex concepts into small and digestible ideas. -

The UX Design course was a great way to learn about the industry, technical skills and tools. By the end of the course, I was equipped with the knowledge and technical skills to start networking and build a portfolio. The instructors tie each lessons with real-world examples and offered as much help and advice as possible. The project component in the course really brings together everything you've learnt in class and a good opportunity to test your knowledge. -

Fun interesting collaborative
I really enjoyed my experience at Brainstation. I got to learn about the key concepts in product management, definitions, frameworks, how to prioritize, and how to thinking about problems and solutions related to products.
It was great meeting people from similar or different backgrounds.

Extremely Interesting and Hands on learning
This course provided a great overview for what to expect when studying product management. Having industry professionals teaching the course helps with getting real-life example based answers to our questions. The group project also helps with learning from your peers. -

Overall it was a really good experience! I missed 2 classes in a row due to travel so that kind of set me behind, which means I was kind of scrambling to get my final project done, but the course delivered what I expected from it, which was more of an introduction to the tools and methodologies of UX Design. It was a good enough taste to give me an idea of whether or not a career in UX design is something I want to pursue, so thanks! -

I am beyond thrilled about my experience in BrainStation's NYC Data Analytics 10 week course. My teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and patient (shout out to Nathan Feifel and Wesley Pyen)! The class was structured in a way that fostered in depth growth, but also allowed us to work on our own and practice if we wanted. I learned about excel basics, but then dived into SQL, Tableau, and then Data visualization. I loved how we were able to work on our final projects for a bit in class the last few weeks and have our teachers undivided attention. The campus itself was so beautiful and all the staff were incredibly nice. It was so nice to be in a physical classroom again! I strongly recommend BrainStation -

I was a housewife before I attend this bootcamp. Everything is so new and fast-paced. Luckily, I came up with a very nice cohort. Educators are so knowledgeable and helpful. TA's assistance are so prompt and effective. I enjoyed not only the learning process but also the way I cooperated with my classmates. There are some hackers who are always willing to help. There are also green hands like me who encouraged me a lot. We had gone through the days with many lectures and difficult projects and we succeeded in two hackthons together. Our courses are up-to-date, and there are timely quiz and assignment. We have different pods every 2-3 weeks, which gave us a good chance to cooperate with different people. Every day, we communicate in morning challenge and code labs. For the projects, we got stand-up meeting every day. This help me to have a better understanding of the real work situation. I really enjoyed a lot in the bootcamp, not only the knowledge, but the most importantly, all the educators and classmates. -

I just finished three courses at BrainStation (Digital Marketing, SEM and Social Media Marketing) and I loved it. Great instructors who share a lot of real-life experiences and support you all the way through. One of the highlights of this learning experience was presenting a comprehensive strategy and final project in each course to the class and learning from their feedback.

I started my UX Design course in September and it lasted for 10 weeks. I went in with no relative experience in user experience design so was eager to learn the fundamentals and get a thorough introduction into UX. The course was brilliant, the instructor, Carlos is a knowledgeable, approachable and enthusiastic instructor who really delivered a great course, ensuring everyone got the best help and learning experience they needed, regardless of their skill-level.
Would definitely recommend this course to anyone thinking of doing it, an all-round brilliant experience! -

Interesting, fresh, practical
I think it had well condensed notes and excellent teachers who went beyond to create worksheets and exercises. The hands on is the best portion. However I do wish the class content which we pay for it accessible or at the very least downloadable (the Google slides). -

Wonderful staff and teachers, great offices, very clear and helpful courses and curriculum.The instructor was amazing - he was clearly experienced in both the subject matter and how to teach, and made every topic feel approachable. He intuitively seemed to understand what concepts the class needed more time on, and was able to be flexible, sometimes introducing concepts typically outside the scope of the course when we seemed ready to try a more advanced topic. Having support not just during class but also available online in between classes made it feel like we had way more class time than we actually did. -

The UX Design program covers a lot of material in just 3 months so it is very intense, but it will certainly prepare you for a successful career switch, transforming you from knowing nothing about UX/UI to feeling confident and ready to land a role in the industry after graduation. The educators were very knowledgeable and great at providing the necessary support and guidance. They were always available when needed and did a fantastic job at explaining the content, it was a pleasure to learn from them.
The overall environment on campus was one of support and enthusiasm, everyone seemed agreeable and eager to help which made the learning experience all the better.
There were plenty of opportunities for collaboration with peers as well as across disciplines, so not only do we get to learn from the educators, but from each other as well. I also found the career workshops helpful, and I did learn a lot about what to expect when trying to find a job post bootcamp. I have just graduated so I have no insight to share regarding landing a role yet, but hopefully it won't be long before I find something.
Overall: Be prepared to put in the work if you want to make the most of this experience. It is not easy, but it will be worth it.

The course is intense and fast paced, with no days off for 3 months straight.
It's an incredible learning experience that can add to your skillset. Getting through it was the most rewarding feeling and it's a good place to practice time management and resilience.
I would have wished to see more inclusivity and support for neurodiversity.
There is no time to catch up if you're struggling to keep up.
One thing I found totally heartbreaking was when they told me that "maybe this course isn't for you", instead of helping me, when I struggled to keep up due to my ADHD.
It made me feel really bad about myself and like I didn't belong or deserve to be there for the remainder of the course because of something I was born with. It really sucked not even being given the chance to give it my all, especially when I know I have so much more to give.
Although, I don't think that they meant for it to have such a negative effect on my whole experience, I really hope they find a way to make it more inclusive in the future so everyone feel welcome to study and develop new skills.
But otherwise it's a perfect course for the healthy, neurotypical person looking to change their career.
Luckily my tutors were awesome and offered great advice, although sometimes pretty contradicting advice so the communication could probably be improved to reduce confusion.
One great thing is that I have access to the course material and will be able to improve my skills and the projects I've worked on in my own time.
The people made the experience awesome! -

Overall this bootcamp was a very good experience. I gained a lot of knowlegde that is useful for my future careers. Though the whole course was very rushed and the hours were long, the content was very valuable and it gave an opportunity for people who have full time jobs. More time to ask questions may be good. Cameras should not be mandatory as some people do not have access to cameras or they are not in the environment to have their camera on. -

I absolutely found this course amazing! I am a student that has no previous experience in tech, yet the course is super beginner friendly. I love how my instructors are all in top tech industries teaching us strategies they use in their day-to-day work. I was able to learn SQL and grasp Tableau in such a short period and I couldn't do it without the help of my instructors, Nathan and Wesley!!! -

Perfect course for those who want to transition to UX
The course is well structured and taught by people working in the industry. Teachers have a teacher assistant who helps with the flow of the course. The class deals with both the theoretical and skills elements of UX and UI. I would highly recommend it for the price. -

Great springboard for launching into a new career
I thought that the tutors were really supportive and proactive in helping us all learn with lectures, projects, design sprints all geared towards ensuring we have all the necessary tools for industry. It is a very fast paced course, but I would say it was great that this could all be condensed into 3 months. BrainStation is a great place for networking and building new relationships in tech. -

Just completed the 3-month full time UX Design Bootcamp at BrainStation and it was the best decision I could've made for my career and myself.
Some positives:
Content-wise, the course covered everything you'd need to know to become a UX/ UI Designer -- from UX fundamentals, to motion design to responsive design. I particularly liked that the course had a big focus on both UX and UI (I'm conscious that some other bootcamps do not offer as much focus on the UI side, which is so important especially if you do not have a background in design).
In terms of teaching, Antonello and Taylor are both awesome and each bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and perspective. Our Teaching Assistant was also very helpful and was there for us to answer any 'silly' questions.
One of the core highlights of this bootcamp was the ability to interact and work with students from the Web Development & Data Science courses. We did a 24-hour hackathon together and it was a great opportunity to learn about what they do and how to work together (e.g. how to approach design hand-offs to developers). This experience is definitely something that differentiates this bootcamp from others on the market.
Some areas BrainStation can improve on:
In the beginning, I found the teaching pace a bit fast and would've appreciated a bit more help from the educators and Teaching Assistant. (We were without a Teaching Assistant for the first month of the program which definitely impacted our experience as it was harder to seek help).
Overall:
The takeaway message is that this is definitely an intense bootcamp, and will require dedication and commitment to juggle multiple deadlines at once. That being said, it is extremely rewarding. You'll leave the bootcamp with a newfound appreciation of great design, close friendships and 3-4 projects to showcase on your portfolio :)
