Life threw a bad time during my engineering degree. Unlike my B.tech peers, I wanted to become a data analyst. But I was always fascinated by data analytics and science, I want a career in it. In 2019, discovered Scaler offering job referrals in related fields. Though not keen on improving technical skills, their referral program caught my attention so price was not problem... Thanks to Scaler, now I'm at ServiceNow. They helped me grow personally and professionally. Improved my DSA skills & gained confidence to face challenges. Grateful to Scaler team and mentor for guiding me to my dream job with a 100% pay hike.

Life had its ups and downs, coming from a farmer's family. Waited for B.tech admission, tried for UPSC exam, but had no luck. I moved on trying to look for work... Enrolled in scaler even though it's a lil expensive for some direction. With improved skills, I regained my confidence and got job at AP Moller Maersk...! Thanks to instructors Mohit Yadav, Anshuman Abhimnanyu Kshitij, and mentor Sandeep Singh. Hard work pays off...stay consistent.

 I am working at Amazon currently but my initial journey too was filled with the service sector experiences. This change was what scaler did for me. They also brought me into the habit of learning everyday. Whether on weekends or even on holidays, no day went by without learning and solving problems. People like Satyasai and Deepak in their core faculty were truly amazing. So I’d say you can for it if you’re planning to upskill

It was my senior colleague at work who suggested Scaler during the second wave of covid…back then I was stuck in a dead end role with no interest or prospects in my field so I decided to take it up and give it a shot.What immediately attracted me was the feeling of belongingness and learning together with hundreds of like minded people..it almost reminded me of my school days. Will forever value the things I learned at Scaler and a big thank you to my mentor for helping me get to where I am today. Switching fields would not have been possible without his referral. 

In 2019, I founded my own company. But then COVID struck and forced us to shut down before we even started. I couldn’t sit idle at home and decided to transition into a developer role by enrolling at Scaler. Then reality hit hard… my skills were outdated. Starting again from scratch wasn’t easy but my instructors weren’t just teachers; they were my guiding compass, pointing me towards data structures and algorithms through a maze...Each day I sat down with my laptop, determined to master DSA. I coded, solved problems, and pushed my limits. End result being that I got a new beginning after thinking I has lost everything. Forever grateful to all my teachers who are my literal gurus, my mentor, my TAs, and the placement team for giving me another chance. 

I was working at a company when I found Scaler. I was told that they are helping people build their skills to reach the product based companies so I went all in. I ended up joining Amazon so I was glad to have given it a chance in improving my skills. But if I am being honest, it was toooo hectic man! I was working and it was really hard for me to like take out time everyday. I don’t think I ever attended a live class because they had classes on weekdays and all my days during the week were packed with work. 

I want to share my thoughts on Scaler Academy: As an engineer, I faced a lot of competition, so I decided to improve my skills by practicing on platforms like InterviewBit and Scaler. I joined Scaler's full-time course where I learned a lot about programming and system design. The mentors and teachers were really helpful, especially Abhimanyu and Anshuman. I'm thankful for the support of mentors Punit Agarwal, Kshitij, Utkarsh, and TA Prateik. Unexpectedly, even the job hunting process was pretty smooth and I got placed at Unraveldata. Kinda proud of how far I have come and thanks to Scaler for their support along the way. If you’re someone like me- who’s constantly looking out for opportunities to upskill, I’d recommend scaler for tech skills. 

I recently started at Paypal, a job that aligns well with my values, thanks to an amazing team. Scaler Academy actually helped me reach here. I started my upskilling journey in 2021 and made really good progress with the help of Scaler's teachers and mentors. Got guidance from mentors, friends, and parents. Interviewed for five companies, got offers from four - all thanks to hard work and guidance from Scaler's placement assistance team and mentors like Naman.
