Post-Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Reviews

I took the PGP-AIML (Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) in Fall 2024 and had a very positive learning experience. The program is well-designed for individuals without a computer science or technical background who want a comprehensive introduction to machine learning models, neural networks, computer vision, and natural language processing, particularly for business and financial applications. The curriculum was structured to provide a solid understanding of various ML and DL models used for classification tasks, along with the necessary statistical and programming concepts to grasp their applications effectively. The weekly learning materials and projects were challenging yet manageable, requiring about 15 hours per week—making it accessible even for those with no prior experience in the field. The instructors and course management were excellent, providing clear guidance and support throughout the program. Additionally, each participant was assigned a program manager (Debanwee Ghosh, in my case), who offered invaluable guidance, making the learning process smoother and more enjoyable.Overall, I believe this program offers one of the best introductions to machine learning for business applications (and beyond). It is well-structured, includes real-life examples, is relatively easy to follow, and is reasonably priced.

I have had a great experience learning Python and Machine Learning through Great Learning. The platform offers well-structured courses that cover fundamental to advanced topics, making it a valuable resource for learners at all levels. The content is thoughtfully designed, ensuring clarity and depth in each subject. One of the highlights of Great Learning is the quality of instruction. I particularly appreciate courses where instructors write and explain concepts step by step, rather than relying heavily on slides. This approach makes the lessons more engaging and easier to understand. When instructors take the time to demonstrate concepts in real-time, it enhances comprehension and retention significantly. The platform also provides hands-on exercises and projects, allowing learners to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios. This real-world application is essential, especially for technical subjects like Machine Learning. Additionally, the support and resources available on Great Learning further contribute to an enriching educational experience.

I am almost done with a six month course for AI/ML through University of Texas on the Great Learning platform. The program is well structured and was perfect for me as a full time employee.  I have a new skill set to bring to my role in finance that opens new ways to analyze data and create solutions. The staff has been wonderful and supported learning in various ways.  The professors were easy to follow in the pre-recorded videos we learn through weekly. We also have a live session each week with an industry professional. I enjoyed the small group session where we could ask questions and get support for our leader Nimish. Finally I received a lot of support from my program manager, Debanwee. She helps the class fit into my busy schedule and gives us reminders, encouragement, and advice to stay on track.  She was especially kind and helpful when I ended up with the flu the week one of our projects was due. All of these people made it possible to learn something new for me in a short time and successfully complete projects that will help with real world AI/ML tasks.
