UMass Amherst Bootcamps
UMass Amherst's Post Graduate Program in Project Management is a 24-week, online bootcamp. The program covers topics like Agile, design theory, UX design, leadership skills, risk management, and the Microsoft Office suite. Students will complete 6 projects throughout the bootcamp to give them real world experience in the industry.
The Project Management bootcamp is open to candidates that have completed a bachelor’s degree. This course is designed for project/product/program professionals, managers, and engineers who want to gain the right digital skills and credentials to put their careers on an accelerated growth path. Applicants from non-management backgrounds are welcome.
Career support is not included as part of this program.
Simplilearn offers various financial aid packages and discounts for this program. Students that complete the program will receive a combined UMass and Simplilearn certificate of completion in addition to receiving membership to the UMass Amherst Alumni Association.

RUN! DO NOT USE SIMPLILEARN
I signed up for the six sigma course. This course will not be helpful unless you're currently working in the space and understand the concepts. Their approach doesn't connect the dots to different concepts and real-life scenarios. I had to watch over 100 hours of youtube videos to understand concepts and formulas. When I raised concerns about their approach and asked for my money back or a resolution, they required four different calls from me asking for feedback to tell me that they wo...I signed up for the six sigma course. When I raised concerns about their approach and asked for my money back or a resolution, they required four different calls from me asking for feedback to tell me that they would not refund my money ultimately. When I purchased the six sigma course, they included the PMP certification. However, when I received notice that my class was starting- I had no access to the dashboard. When I inquired, they told me they had no record that this was included. I've spent over 3 hours trying to resolve this on the phone and sent over nine emails that they can't seem to find. RUN! Pay the extra money elsewhere. Teaching content is good, covered most of the contents in the class.
Examples provided in the class are great.
Instructor (Anita Stalin) is very knowledgeable and experienced.
The duration of the course needs to be longer. Not enough sessions to cover the course contents.
More projects need to be taken "in the class sessions". There should be more gap between the courses (at least 3 to 4 weeks between lean, six sigma green belt and six sigma black belt courses) to tak...Teaching content is good, covered most of the contents in the class.

Comfort zones yield nothing.
