It's been 2 months since I started learning at Turing College and so far it has exceeded my expectations.
What's great about it?
- Self-paced learning: you are in charge on when to study and how much time to dedicate, so you are in control of your progress
- Study material: the material is well-structured and easy to follow, even if you are a complete beginner. The course is made out of Modules which are split into Sprints which are further split into Parts. So step-by-step, part-by-part, sprint-by-sprint you build the skillset necessary for a Data Analyst. This way it doesn't feel overwhelming for a beginner to tackle a completely new topic/software

Peer-to-peer reviews: this was one thing that I was anxious about when deciding if I'd like to join Turing - how could I as a student review and rate others' work? Turns out, there was nothing to worry about and in fact, it's a great learning tool:
- You refresh your own knowledge on the subject you have already passed
- You learn new tricks from others that you haven't known yourself
- You truly see that there is no one correct answer and appreciate numerous different approaches to the same project
- You meet many enthusiastic learners and share your experiences
- You get to share tips and tricks which help others to improve
- You get to be part of the success story of the other learner, feeling proud when you see the system notification saying that they passed the project successfully

Online support: I have tried self-paced online courses before, but none provided the sufficient support, while at Turing College you can get it in multiple ways:
- Stand-ups: in weekly stand-ups you meet other learners and each get to ask a question and then discuss with the group
- Open sessions: multiple sessions are available throughout a day where you can log on, ask a dedicated person a question, get help, and then jump back to studying. Those who prefer to study over the weekends are not left alone - there are open sessions on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
- Discord: I have never seen an online community which supports its peers so much - all you need to do is drop a message in Discord asking for help and you'll get it, usually you won't even need to wait for 5 minutes, learners come to each other's aid without hesitation. Couple of times I saw a pop-up about a new message, went immediately to respond, but while I was typing someone else beat me - it's that fast.

Project reviews: it's a great way to ensure that you are making good progress and get feedback:
- Peer reviews: it's great to get a second pair of eyes on your project from a fellow learner who has already passed the same project. They notice things you might have missed and share the knowledge they gained while working on the project. They also help ensure that your project is ready to take to the Senior Team Lead review.
- Senior Team Lead reviews: having a 1-2-1 review with STL has been really valuable so far. Not only do they have a vast knowledge on the subject, they can also share best practices that happen in 'real world' as opposed to textbooks.
- Deadlines: while having a pressure of deadlines is not my favourite thing in life, so far it's helped me stay motivated and ensure I progress at a good pace, something I haven't experienced in any other self-paced learning places
Overall, I'm very happy to be studying at Turing College and would definitely recommend it to others. -

I sought something beyond the basics, and Turing College caught my eye. After learning more about their program I started with high expectations and remarkably, they were not just met but exceeded. Currently, I'm pursuing the data engineering path. The aspect I appreciate most is the hands-on projects, which are challenging yet rewarding. They demand significant effort, but it's gratifying to see my skills and understanding grow rapidly. The course includes peer reviews as well as individual reviews and stand-ups led by specialists with years of industry experience, which I find exceptionally valuable. Networking is another highlight. We constantly have opportunities to connect with peers, share experiences, challenges, and even fun moments. The community's welcoming nature allows you to be as social as you wish. Halfway through the course, I've already accomplished more than I initially set out to do. I haven't started the endorsement process yet, but I found a new job in DE while studying, and Turing College has indirectly been a great help to me. Excited to complete the entire path and see the result of this transformation! Very recommended :) -

I joined the Data Analytics course at Turing College having a goal to switch my carrier and find a job in a data analytics field. The course structure is very well laid out, the difficulty of the course progresses rapidly, and you get a lot of practice because in order to finish every topic, you need to complete the project where you need to do some sort of analysis. During this course you will lear not only the technical skills of Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Google Looker Studio, but also various analysis methods used by data analyst.
One of the best things about this course is that it is self-paced. There are deadlines to finish each topic, but if you finish it earlier the time you save is added to the deadline of the next topic. Also there is a very supportive community of other learners, Junior Team Leads and Senior Team Leads who are professional data analysts or data scientists and who can help you if you are struggling with a certain topic or have any questions. -

Applying to Turing College was one of my greatest lifetime decisions! 🙌 The knowledge gained, new, exciting people met through-out and encouraging, friendly Turing College staff - all combined make up a really pleasant learning experience! The course itself, although being online, is really modern-style and of really high-end quality. It is well structured, has a lot of informative and interesting material (online books, videos, podcasts and etc.) and is well planned in terms of the timeline you have to complete it in, which, if/when needed, is also flexible 🙂 Not having the standard lecturer and student relationship, but rather peer-to-peer learning experience enables everyone to work at their own pace and time. This learning structure is also really beneficial to you, because being reviewed by other learners (and also senior team leads), you are able to get a lot of great advices on your work, which helps you improve yourself and excel your skills at all times (sometimes even helpful to the correctors themselves 😉)! I am a student of the first batch of the Web Development path. Even though at the time of choosing this course I couldn't rely on other people's opinions, I've decided to try it since the opinions about the other paths were great. The main advantage of Turing College, in my opinion, is the emphasis on peer-to-peer support. At the same time the team is always reachable and ready to help. There's really a lot of material (and additional research topics), and it really depends on the learner how they will organize their work and study flow (time management is also one of the skills I got to develop during the course). The Open Sessions and Stand Ups are really there for you if you need a hand, and generally the atmosphere is great and supportive. For now, I can't say anything about the endorsement process, as the first one will start in a couple of months from now. Overall, I would recommend this course if you are willing to dedicate some effort to both on your hard and soft skills. -

I'm currently studying DA at Turing College, it's been 7 months and I'm loving the experience. The curriculum is great for the job market, especially since the projects are similar to real-life cases so right now I definitely feel more confident about applying for DA roles. Not only the curriculum but the community is also great. While doing the projects we have a lot of chances to get great feedback about our work also whenever need help there's an open session where we can easily ask our questions. I like how everything is online but we're never alone during the learning process. Also, the TC stuff is always there whenever we have issues it's great to get an answer 7/24! I'm already very excited about the future opportunities after graduation and of course, it's great to get help with the application process. Honestly, I would recommend Turing College to those who are interested in a career in Data. -

I had a negative experience with them. I applied for a job and they requested a certificate or letter to confirm my enrollment at Turing College. I reached out to Turing College staff on August 23rd, and they assured me they could provide the letter, requesting some information. However, despite my daily follow-ups since that day, all I received were responses telling me to wait for more information. Unfortunately, this led to me losing the position I had applied for. There is so much support both from Turing College Staff and peers. I've been enrolled into a different course and there was only competition between participants and no cooperation. While at Turing College everyone is eager to help, I literally feel they want me to succeed.
All the material is organized by sprints with recommended deadlines. And I can extend the deadlines in case I've stucked. At the end of every sprint I have to complete a project that is tailored to real-world problems. And each project is reviewed by an industry professional and a peer on a live session. I receive a lot of feedback and I understand all the strengths and weaknesses of my approach. And one thing I love the most is that I conduct a peer review as well! We share our thoughts and ideas about the sprint, we see different solutions for the same task and review the problem from a different angle.
I used to be a teacher and I believed peer-to-peer learning model is the most efficient. Now I'm a student within such a model and I experience it's efficiency with joy. -

I had a fairly good understanding of what a Data Analyst job entails, but I lacked official/practical experience in the field. Additionally, I was lacking some technical knowledge, such as SQL and Python programming, as well as how to build statistical models. My initial plan was to gather the required technical knowledge through free online courses and then find a job on my own. However, I ultimately chose to enroll in Turing College.
Why did I choose Turing College?
What drew me to Turing College was the cheerful and positive education team and staff members. They had numerous Senior Team Leads (STL) from companies I aspired to work for. One particular aspect that intrigued me was their effective method cementing newly acquired knowledge through hands-on practical graded projects. These projects are presented to a senior student and an STL (industry professional who typically works as a data scientist or data analyst in well-known companies).
And that's not all. To progress in the course, you need to earn points by reviewing and correcting other students' projects. This approach encourages interactions among students, fosters new friendships, and helps you realize that the same graded task can be accomplished in various ways. I completed the main Data Analyst course in five months and am currently working through some optional modules.
Up to this point, my experience has been nothing but positive. I greatly appreciate the weekly standup video calls where we engage with an STL and fellow students from our group.
Also there are plenty of experienced JTLs (junior team leads) who have regular open-sessions which students can join if they feel they need some additional help. Turing College has also provided me with additional assistance on preparing my LinkedIn and GitHub profiles. Thanks to Turing College, I've already established a few connections in companies I aspire to work for, as I've had one-on-one interactions while they evaluated my Turing College data projects. When interacting with Turing College staff, I genuinely feel their desire to assist me in achieving my learning and employment goals.

I have now completed ~80% of the Data Analytics course and I am extremely satisfied not only with the content, but also with the learning and social environment of TC.
The projects at the end of each sprint are real challenges, not just quizzes. This method encourages you to finalize a real product, rather than just answering questions.
The peer-correction system (i.e. when you finish a sprint, you can act as a peer reviewer for somebody else who is going to submit the project for that sprint) is also great to revise and stabilize knowledge acquired in the previously completed sections of the programme.
Interactions between fellow students are actively encouraged, and naturally lead to create a network of interaction and friendships that I would have not imagined to be possible from an online-only experience. -

I have always wanted someone to believe in me. And not only Turing college has provided the experts, they have also provided a community of co-learners and even experts who show their belief in me. The team of Monica, Fet, Thomas, Alga, Gidrius and many many more ... fabulous people.
It is probably impossible to take admission and not become a valuable expert in your field. The feeling is like that of being in a family that helps you learn, guide you and provides feedback.
This goes much beyond the course material (which is already very very good). Meanwhile, I am also doing another course side-by-side which also involves Data Science. And Turing is many times better than them, there is no comparison really. For example, I remember in other school they said, getting accuracy scores above 85 percent is impossible etc. At Turing, you become an expert. An expert to the extend that you can easily tell what is possible and how it is possible. I guided the Data Scientist teaching the other school for how it is possible with good feature engineering and made him understand that if one knows the model underneath, one can customize hyper-parameters according to dataset. I have not yet graduated, but I was able to guide a working data Scientist and could understand that Turning College has laid down a great foundational understanding which lacks across the fast-paced and growing DS industry. -

Turing College gives a one-of-a-kind hands-on experience. I enjoyed Turing College What I love the most about my experience was having access to people better skilled than I was for questions and mentoring. I loved the fact that it is a community of learners, so you do not easily get discouraged as most likely happens when studying alone. I also loved the soft skills work shops. It brought in so much light to my personality, and I saw room for improvement in various areas. I loved that they also gave tools for self improvement. My interaction with the staff was always nice, and they were super friendly. The Con would be if you like traditional-style of learning, like in universities, you may not like Turing College. Also, you have to learn everything, so you can't be mistakenly lazy. -

I highly recommend the Data Science course for anyone wishing to land a job in the data field. I started the course having only some knowledge of statistics and being completely fresh at programming but it all went fine and I work as a data analyst now. What I liked the most is that the curriculum contains all the necessary information needed to get a first job in the data world. The material is up to date, all in one place, and relevant for practical tasks. I really enjoyed the AI Ethics course at Turing College! I am not an AI engineer by trade, so some of the material required a little extra study time, but the curriculum is incredibly well-structured. Rather than just teaching how to build AI, the course focuses heavily on how to properly prepare for fairness, and exactly how to tweak the models using in-process and post-process techniques when something is off. I particularly appreciated the clear guidance on what to do when you are dealing with incomplete information. It’s a great, eye-opening experience. Highly recommend! -

My experience with the AI Engineering program at Turing College was especially meaningful because I entered it from a scientific rather than a traditional software engineering background. As a neuroscientist, I wanted to go beyond simply using AI tools and understand how modern AI systems are actually built, connected, evaluated, and applied to real problems.What I appreciated most was the emphasis on learning by doing. Instead of remaining at the level of theory, I gradually built working applications using Python and Streamlit and explored technologies such as RAG, vector embeddings, tool calling, LangChain, LangGraph, various AI models, ChromaDB, external APIs, and so on.My final project became Neurohypothesis, a neuroscience-focused AI agent. It searches live PubMed literature, combines it with uploaded scientific papers, identifies potential research gaps, and generates hypotheses for further scientific exploration. Being able to take an idea from my own research background and gradually turn it into a functioning AI application was one of the most rewarding parts of the course for me.For me, these projects represented much more than technical exercises. They helped me understand how ideas from my own scientific field could be translated into AI engineering workflows and, equally importantly, where the limitations of such systems need to be taken seriously.I also valued the interactions with mentors and peers. Some of the most useful parts of the experience came from discussing an idea, receiving critical feedback, revising the approach, and trying again. I particularly appreciated mentors who challenged me with suggestions rather than simply giving me solutions.The learning style is quite active and self-directed, which suited me well. It requires curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to troubleshoot things independently rather than expecting everything to be explained step by step. For someone who enjoys learning through experimentation, this can be one of the strongest aspects of the program.Overall, Turing College helped me move from being primarily an observer and user of AI technologies toward being able to design and build AI-based applications myself. I still have a great deal to learn, which is unavoidable in a field evolving this quickly, but the program gave me a much stronger technical foundation and, importantly, the confidence to continue exploring the intersection of AI and scientific research.I am grateful to the mentors and the wider Turing College community for creating an intellectually stimulating and supportive learning environment.
