The AI Institute is an online Artificial Intelligence and Data Science bootcamp based in Paris, France and Boston, Massachusetts with full-time and part-time course offerings. The full-time Data Science bootcamp takes up to 3 months to complete, and the part-time Data Science bootcamp is 16 to 20 weeks long. The bootcamp curriculum covers Artifical Intelligence (AI) applications for industry sectors, such as retail, automotive, healthcare, defense and security, and marketing and advertising. Students in the bootcamp learn convolutional neural network, machine learning, Python, Tensorflow, AWS, Hadoop, and autoencoder as well as the tasks, tools, and best practices of product management and project management, such as MVP, user stories, agile methodologies, scrum, and design sprint. Students also learn how to analyze the ethical concerns about AI, guideline recommendations for an ethical AI, and AI impacts on society. Students are taught the main IT tools used in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and will learn how to leverage AI & ML APIs, frameworks & libraries, Pytorch, SciKitLearn, Keras, and PySpark.
AI Institute has a 8:1 student to teacher ratio. Instructors hold doctorate degrees from institutions, such as École Normale Supérieure and Ecole Polytechnique. 75% of the bootcamp is project-based training and 25% of the curriculum focuses on theory. Students work on real-world AI projects that will prepare them to manage an AI project within a company. Bootcamp students are taught how to embed AI in autonomous systems with edge computing and federated learning, build a chatbot for medical diagnosis, and leverage computer vision for autonomous cars.
Potential bootcamp students must already hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or an equivalent field. However, AI enthusiasts without a Master’s degree are also encouraged to apply. After completing the application, some students will be invited for an interview and a technical test that covers subjects such as computer science and math.
The AI Institute bootcamp graduates will be certified in SAS and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Graduates of the bootcamp are eligible for careers as data scientists, business intelligence managers, data architects, business intelligence architects, business engineers, business intelligence developers, and data analysts.

I was fellow at AI institute in January - March session. I would like to thank you for the very helpful course in Data Science. Here I am writing a review for the course.
- The course material was well organized and it helped...I was fellow at AI institute in January - March session. I would like to thank you for the very helpful course in Data Science. Here I am writing a review for the course.
- The course material was well organized and it helped students to learn from basic even without early training in data science. However, I feel like covering basics in data science is not enough for data scientists in industry. I think after a month of basics we should have a well-defined project ( for every student / can work in the group too). Since students are new to the field they do not have much idea about the application so AI institute can collaborate with startups to acquire some real project which can be distributed among students.
- From an industry perspective, making a model and improving the model is as important as serving the model. So I think the project should be end-to-end based where a student can host their model on AWS and serve the model through API (Flask, EC2 instances). Having knowledge of the data pipeline is also important for industries.
