Nucamp made it very easy to understand coding and made sure that you finished the Bootcamp wanted to learn more and more. Thanks, Nucamp and Frank (amazing instructor). -

Great choice
The cost was incomparable and I liked that actual web developers would be teaching me. It was nice to be able to ask any question to someone knowledgeable on the subject. -

I chose Nucamp primarily for the affordable cost and the huge benefit of being able to keep my job while taking the course. I'm happy to say that even with the affordable price tag compared to many other camps/courses out there, this was a quality experience that provided me an excellent foundation to continue my learning and seek an entry level job in the field. My instructor was knowledgeable and provided his knowledge and experience regarding job searching and what to expect during interviews and helped prepare the class to answer the questions we'd likely be asked. The course does, however, expect you to do some free studying and learning throughout the week on your own as well. While the course provides an excellent groundwork of understanding for the three languages covered, this is most definitely a "get out of it what you put into it" class. -

I took the fundamentals course without knowing anything about html coding. After the 4 weeks, I know so much about it now, and am looking forward to learning more. The course was very informative and pretty easy to follow. -

Great Value for the Price
I just finished the Bootstrap part of my Bootcamp and it was challenging. However, I learned lots, and most importantly I can apply that knowledge to my coding. I am definitely a better coder than when I started. This is a great affordable camp!!! If you put in the work you will reap the rewards. On to part two of the Bootcamp..... -

Bootstrap
This was my first bootcamp, and I thought the class was well laid out and relevant. I feel I now have a good understanding of Bootstrap and JavaScript and how to use it to create interactive websites. -

Designer
I chose Nucamp because I work full-time as a designer and loved the flexibility and hours. The instructors work in their respective fields and have given me valuable advice and confidence to keep pushing. It's nice to be able to go back to a lesson whenever you want to refresh your mind on a certain topic and then to re-apply what you learned from the that week into your personal projects. -

I felt intimidated to do a career change to web development.
The classes and instructor have helped give me the tools to make this a reality.
if you have no skill or prior experience, do not be intimidated Nucamp has been phenomenal for me.
I feel like at the end of the full stack course I will be Job ready as a Jr. level developer, the instructors care about your success and provide help outside of the confines of the class schedule. this is rare. very rare -

I was referred to Nucamp, and previously did not hear about it. After my class was finished, however, I do not regret it at all. The knowledge that I had gained the last 4 weeks will be the foundation I need to get a good in-depth look to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I suggest this course as a real tutorial if you do not know the ins and outs of coding, or even if you need a good refresher, this class is definitely the place to go. -

I chose Nucamp because I needed training for web development, and I've gotten a decent amount of it so far. The pace of work is blisteringly fast, but I've learned much during my time here, especially in Javascript, and had what skills I had learned on my own beforehand more or less validated. A huge plus is the fact that Nucamp is very affordable, especially in comparison to places like SMU, which demanded thousands of dollars up front for practically the same training. Learning online from home has been a boon too, as I don't have to brave Texas roads to get to class every morning / evening, and I've been able to collaborate with fellow learners, as well as professionals with years of experience in this field. -

I chose Nucamp because the classes are very flexible and we learn similar coding curriculum versus the big league. It is also very affordable and a model I hope Nucamp would keep as the company gradually grows.
The instructors has been very helpful. For example, Todd S. did an amazing job with his experience going over bootstrap and Js implementation. He also checks in with students on Slack to see how everyone is doing. -

Nucamp provided an affordable way for me to get back into the technical arena. I'm glad I took the HTML-CSS-JavaScript Fundamentals class before jumping right into the Full Stack Bootcamp. There was a lot that I needed to relearn, plus some areas that I wasn't as strong as I thought I was. The class pace is fast, but definitely workable within the demands of my regular job. The materials were well-presented and the live workshops were excellent for bringing the week's worth of learning into practice. -

I chose Nucamp honestly for the price. I was pleased with the amount of attention and extra help that was provided. The zoom classroom environment and overall interface was top notch. Our instructor Leo was a lot of fun to work with and super helpful, no matter when he was approached. Can't say enough good things about this experience.
I liked it so much I am starting the full stack course next week! -

Beginner Bootcamp went great!
Very clear exercises, with lots of examples and good balance between videos and exercises. Live on zoom, my instructor was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and engaged. I'd say the only limitations are mainly due to the pandemic; in person is just always better in my opinion. -

Choosing a bootcamp and getting into this industry can feel overwhelming. I chose this bootcamp after two months of studying on my own. This course has helped me refocus and guide me towards what I should really be focusing my studies on. While self-studying I found myself bombarded with information that I would question was even relevant. So having a planned curriculum really put those worries at ease. They teach you the tools you need to be successful in this field. It is still up to you to go out and build projects and continue that learning, but once you see how the tools work you are free to create. Like most classes, the most important thing isn't about what you learn in class, it is about how you apply what you have learned outside of the classroom! This has helped me fast-track my learning so I can get to the important part. Building! -

I chose Nucamp because it fit my schedule as a mother. It was affordable and challenging and I got to learn a lot. I got to do everything was online, just what I was looking for. Everything was at my own pace, something that I loved because if something came up I could still catch up. -

The hybrid model really stood out to me and really fit my schedule as I still work my full time job to cover my life expenses. They offered the HTML, CSS and JavaScript Introduction Course before stepping me into the Full Stack Bootcamp which for me was essential.
Instructors are Super Helpful and have the ability to explain the concepts to tailor each student if necessary. -

I really value that through this course I can meet and interact with an experienced person in the field(our instructor) and other people who are in the similar situations as mine. Throughout the Zoom sessions, I was able to ask things (otherwise I would feel like reaching a dead end), also get very practical advices.
Second thing is that I could finally build something on web. I have been self-studying through various MOOC, but I couldn't even start to build something on my own, mainly because everything seemed so overwhelming that I couldn't find a way through the whole process. It became possible for me to do things, especially because I was given instructions, tips and steps each week for me to do to build up my project. -

I had only some basic JavaScript but working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. This was an excellent choice for me to move up to the next level. Here's why:
1) easy availability, 2) lower cost than conventional bootcamps, 3) multiple avenues to seek help and to build professional relationships, 4) Reputation, 5) Job search assistance. I liked the online community and due to COVID we couldn't do the in person workshops but Zoom worked well. I had several instructors that were excellent at teaching and also very supportive. Some shared a great deal of their time both in class work and in counseling about job searching, what to expect, what to prepare.
I found some of the lessons frustrating because I couldn't understand instructions or felt some were not clear. Much information could only be found in the videos which required watching them multiple times. I recommend that they include a summary in each module that lists essential information, such as terminal commands and setup steps, etc. This would save time in the learning process because there is far too much to remember and taking notes is very time consuming. Better if they would provide such notes.
I started with just the Front End but as I was completing it I decided to do the Back End as well. They've given me a solid foundation to build a learning and working environment moving forward. Also connections are an important side benefit. -

I liked nucamp due to the fact that it was cheap at first, but I think I got more than what I paid as the instructors know well what they're talking about. -

Full Stack Web Development
I had a good experience studying full stack development with Nucamp. The curriculum is thought through and provide a good step by step introduction to really complex topics. The content helps with getting a further good understanding of the concepts and has resources really helpful for further building on our skills. The slack channels are very helpful with community of learners and educators. -

I chose Nucamp because it has a flexible schedule and it was one of the cheapest options. I looked into many different bootcamps but I just couldn't bring my self to agree to income sharing agreements it just wasn't for me. As for the course I was very happy with my instructor Chryssa she was very knowledgable and is also working in the field. I liked that she was always available if I ever had a question she was very patient and made sure the class understood the concepts we were studying before moving on. I would definitely recommend Nucamp even if your just curious about coding it was a fun experience and if during the course you feel like it's not for you at least it didn't cost too much to find out. I can say I went into my course not knowing much but I feel much more confident that a carrier in programming is for me and I truly had a blast it was challenging but worth every minute. -

I chose to Nucamp, because they offer to teach code at reasonable price. It is also nice to be able to do the courses at your own pace. So long as you are able complete the work when it's due. -
