Loyola University offers two, virtual digital skills bootcamps in Cybersecurity and Digital Marketing. Loyola University Digital Skills bootcamps are designed for working professionals, so the courses are taught in the evening and weekend course schedules available. The bootcamps are designed for those who have no previous experience in the field, and there are no prerequisites required to enroll in either bootcamp.
Loyola University Cybersecurity bootcamp consists of a 30-hour introductory course and a 370-hour extended program. The cybersecurity bootcamp covers Microsoft security, computer networking, cloud security, Linux security, network security, and cyber infrastructure and technology. Students learn Python for security, offensive security (ethical hacking), incident response, threat hunting, and game theory strategy in cybersecurity. Students are prepared for seven, industry-recognized certification exams, including AWS Cloud Practitioner, Linux LPI Essentials, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, and (ICC)2 SSCP. Certification exams are not conducted as part of the program, and require costs in addition to tuition.

The Digital Marketing bootcamp curriculum covers SEO, SEM, data visualization and analytics, HTML + CSS3, e-commerce, and social media marketing. Students will learn UI/UX, email marketing and automation, website development, content writing, Facebook advertising, and Google advertising. Students are prepared for positions such as SEO Specialist, Social Media Ad Buyer, Social Media Manager, E-Commerce Specialist, Digital Strategist, PPC Specialist, Content Writer, UI/UX Designer, and Digital Marketing Analyst. Digital Marketing bootcamp students will complete a professional e-portfolio of their work to share with potential employers.
Digital Marketing bootcamp students receive 10 hours of career services support, including professional networking, interview training, job placement assistance, and consultations devoted to perfecting LinkedIn profiles, eportfolios, and resumes. Cybersecurity bootcamp students receive 15 hours of career services support, including professional networking, interview training, internship placement assistance, and one-on-one consultations devoted to perfecting LinkedIn profiles and resumes.
