When entering the Immersive 1st phase at Hacktiv8, it was hard phase in hacktiv8, and I think I was in wrong way :D ha ha ha... coding for newbie like me is stressfull, but we have Engineering Empathy class, this class can reduce our stress, this class teach us to know ourself deeply, manage/control our emotion, etc.
Now I work in one of Software House in South Jakarta, where this place can be more challenging. everything we have get from Hacktiv8 will be very useful.

its expensive. I know. but its 100% worth it.
I have no IT/ engineering background what-so-ever but now I can make my own API/ website/ mobile app and deploy them in less than 3 days. Crazy. all of this learning in just 4 months.You wouldn't be able to get this learning curve by just joining free code camp or any free online bootcamp. Simply because you got NO pressure. In this bootcamp, you get pressures everywhere, you need to be 100% fit mentally, physically and emotionally to digest new materials every day and on-going project deadlines, or not your score is zero.
if you are looking for an exponential learning curve in your life asap, apply.

Hacktiv8 has been great so far in terms of having a structured environment for learning and partially teaching yourself to code. Instructors provide assistance along this journey as well as classmates. It's a lot of work and can be stressful at times but other classmates and Instructors provide a great support system. Material taught in the curriculum is good as it's adapted to the current trends in the industry. It's very intensive but if you have the determination, you get through the course and attain the end goal of starting a new career in tech.

Before Hacktiv8, my previous coding experience goes way back to 2013-2014, and I purely use Matlab, so I consider myself as a complete beginner when I started my bootcamp here. I believe that starting in Hacktiv8 will be a great start for me, but don't expect to be an overnight master by learning here. In Hacktiv8, I believe that the learning material is updated according to the latest trend, and we're encouraged to dig deeper and find something that even the instructors have never found. But by far the most valuable thing I found here is the network, with each student having such a diverse background and not to mention its network of hiring partner, I really am glad that I joined this course.

Before joining the bootcamp, I only had a little experience with programming. But during the program, I learned a lot, especially about backend development using Go. I also learned how to build APIs, work with microservices, do testing, and even deploy apps to the cloud. What made the biggest difference for me was the way the bootcamp trained us to think like real developers. We were taught how to break down problems and write clean code. Working in teams for final project was also a big part of the experience. I learned how to communicate and solve problems together as a team. You are taught everything, from the basics, to some of the latest tech-stacks that meet the industry requirements. My experience with Hacktiv8 had been nothing but positive. True, the course is very difficult, as you are jammed with information every day, and this might not be a good fit for everyone (especially because your weekends are somewhat non-existent due to all the assignments) but if you are looking to ensure that you have the base knowledge of the industry (being an aspiring software engineer etc.) then this bootcamp will help you get there faster than any online course materials available. -

Although my background is in IT, my focus used to be more on data science and UI/UX—two fields that don't require much coding. To be honest, coding was something tht I didnt enjoy before. But joining a bootcamp with full stack developer program definitely was a turning point that I never predicted before.
In this bootcamp, the learning process is super intense but very systematic and practical! The material is structured so that it can be used immediately, and the learning system makes complex topics easier to understand. And the most helpful thing is, the mentors and instructors here are very active in guiding and checking our progress.
What makes this bootcamp cool, in my opinion, is that it's not only for those who already have an IT background. Many friends of mine that are from non-IT backgrounds can also catch up and develop quickly because of its inclusive and structured approach.
For me, this is not just learning coding but also a new challenge that makes me more confident in working on projects from a technical perspective. If you're looking for a place to start or level up in tech, this is one option worth considering. Like trust me guys, this hacktiv8 bootcamp is worth it! -

I enrolled the Front End Night Bootcamp Program. Overall it was a nice experience. If you already have experience at programming you won't have much problems at following the lectures even while doing a 9-5 job (you just need to sacrifice a little bit more of your sleep though). However, if you don't, I would recommend you to go full time. The instructors are nice, if you face any problems they will assist you 1 on 1. -

It has a great Curriculum and great Instructors. It definitely lives up to its reputation, and of course, the price. The one thing I'm not satisfied with is only the job assistance. Don't be swayed by their "Dicarikan kerja". In the end, you will have to do the job searching yourself and this boot camp would only offer you advice and suggestions. Aside from that it is a very worthwhile boot camp if what you seek is the curriculum and of course a lot of portfolio and tech stack you can add to your CV. -
