My experience at the bootcamp was characterized by a mix of positives and challenges. One notable aspect was the emphasis on practical skills directly applicable to the data science industry. The curriculum's relevance to real-world scenarios holds significant promise for our career advancement. However, the diversity of teaching styles among instructors presented both advantages and obstacles. While it taught adaptability, it also posed difficulties in grasping the material comprehensively, particularly given the breadth of topics covered in the 12-week duration.
The presence of the Engineering Empathy team was invaluable, providing much-needed support to manage stress and maintain motivation throughout the intense bootcamp environment. The abundance of weekly tasks and assignments was instrumental in building a strong portfolio, an essential asset in the competitive tech industry.
Looking forward, I extend my best wishes to my peers and express gratitude to the instructors who played a crucial role in our skill development and preparation for the data industry. Despite the challenges, the bootcamp experience has equipped us with essential skills and perspectives necessary for our future endeavors. -

My experience at Hacktiv8 was both fun and challenging. Over 4 months, I had the opportunity to learn from expert mentors, or 'Buddies' as we called them, who were not only knowledgeable but also understanding. The lessons were structured in a way that made them easy to follow, despite the increasing difficulty each month.
The program covered the fundamentals of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, and then moved on to more advanced topics like VueJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Docker. This comprehensive curriculum gave me a solid foundation in web development.
One of the standout features of Hacktiv8 was the post-graduation support. They helped us prepare for job applications with mock interviews, mock technical tests, portfolio building, and guidance on creating a professional profile on job platforms like Jobstreet and Glints.
While the enrollment price is on the higher side, Hacktiv8 offers a payment method that allows you to pay once you secure a job. Overall, I would highly recommend Hacktiv8 to anyone looking to kickstart their career in software development.
