Very positive experience, but is it for you?

I am a graduate from Digital Crafts. I attended the full time web development bootcamp online for four months starting in July of 2022, and have since then got my first job in software development / web development with the experience and knowledge I attained from attending Digital Crafts. There is no doubt in my mind that without the leg up I attained from a curriculum in web development as well as my fantastic instructor Veronica, that I would not have been able to land my first job in...

While it means a lot to our team, reviews really benefit future students when they are deciding which program to choose. For that, I want to thank you. Second, thanks for providing helpful feedback in several key areas of our program based on your experience. We are always striving to improve, and we couldn’t do that without feedback from our graduates. Congratulations and we hope to see you around as an alumni!

    disappointed

I recently graduated Digitalcrafts that I have to say was a complete waste of time and money. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it was one of the worst educational experiences I have ever had. Here are some of the reasons why I would not recommend this bootcamp to anyone.Firstly, the course was not worth the money that I paid for it. The instructors were just alumni of the same bootcamp who had limited real-world experience as developers, although they were very nice a...

Hey Kevin - Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We appreciate your feedback and are always open to finding ways to improve.  We are sorry to hear that your educational experience did not meet your expectations. We truly are. With that being said, we are still very much here to offer support in preparation for your job search. I will be reaching out to you directly to introduce you to our team members who can help as you look for your first software developer role. I would also be open to speaking with you directly to learn more about your experience if that is of interest to you.
While people have different learning styles, the environment in which we instruct students, both online and in-person, is designed to be challenging and current. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment, which is core to our values. Our operations team, student success team, instructors, and leadership continue to be focused on preparing students in the classroom, and for life after class.
Lastly, I know we sent you an updated certificate already, and we apologize for this oversight.
Please do not hesitate to reach out – I am happy to further discuss your experience with you.

What I wish I knew before starting classes.

This is not a cheap school, you definitely get what you pay for. I wish I knew about the basics of programming and using terminals before starting class. Youtube, linkedin, github, and Google all have basic training courses you can use to better understand what is happening in class. I recommend learning github, visual studio code and basic programming via googling before starting class so you can be ahead of the learning curve and ready for the complex parts of coding. If you are like m...

    DigitalCrafts | A Wise Decision!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at DigitalCrafts! The instructors were fantastic, the curriculum focuses on languages/technologies that are very relevant in the industry, and the admin team was always on top of it as my cohort mates and I navigated our 4 months in the full time Web Development program. Student success was also very thorough and helpful when it came to preparing for interviews, getting your portfolio/online presence up to speed, and all things in between.

    Full-Stack Immersive Program

I was referred to DigitalCrafts by an alumni who has successfully become a developer after graduating from this program.  I attended the 16-week immersive full-time online web development course. I loved my instructor (she is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent!) and loved learning Python and React. I selected to attend DigitalCrafts because they were a top bootcamp that included Python in their curriculum. DigitalCrafts also provides small scholarships to women and minorities, which...

    Full Stack Web Development (Online)

I had an extremely positive experience with DigitalCrafts, I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to attend a bootcamp. The curriculum is robust, moves fast (as most bootcamps)  but it is focused on teaching the most relevant technologies. My instructor Veronica exceeded my expectations, she is knowledgeable, engaging, highly skilled, offers a ton of support, gives you tons or resources you need to succeed and not only teaches you the h...

    Full Stack Web Development (Online)

Coming to DigitalCrafts, I had absolutely no experience in coding. I was very nervous to jump into the coding world, but I am so glad that I did. My instructor at DigitalCrafts was Veronica, and she was incredibly thorough and made sure that every student understood the material. The amount of coding resources on the web can be quite daunting, but after the DigitalCrafts BootCamp, you will be ready to start your career as a junior developer! If you are on the fence about taking the Full-...

    Best Decision!

I ended up narrowing it down to Digital Crafts as my bootcamp of choice after researching options for 4 months and couldn't have been happier. The in demand skills they provided along with the small class sizes were what really sealed the deal for me. That along with how great my instructor was really made it an overall amazing experience. I would highly recommend DC especially if you want to learn react and redux (in demand job skills currently). I have no complaints, but I think if you...

    Web Development Bootcamp Full-time

DigitalCrafts exceeded my expectations. I went in with the expectation that I was there to learn and that the job search may take some time after I graduated (because I was going in with no experience). One of the things that I loved about DigitalCrafts was the fact that my instructor, Joe, and the student success team encouraged students to start applying to jobs about half way through the bootcamp in order to get a head start. They were all very supportive of helping you with your resu...

    Web Development Bootcamp

Prior to joining DigitalCrafts (DC), I researched several bootcamps, narrowing it down to two that I felt would best serve me in my career change journey. I highly recommend doing your homework and understanding what you are getting into, as any bootcamp experience is a large undertaking. That being said, I am so happy I decided to go with DC. A few things that set this program apart for me included it being a 16 week program (as opposed to 10-12 weeks for other comparable bootcamps), th...

    DC Review

Digital Crafts should be your first stop in the search for a coding bootcamp. I haven't met a single instructor that couldn't help you through any problem presented. No matter the point in which you doubt yourself as a developer they will find a way to help you understand. Veronica(my instructor) was the best instructor anyone could ask for and then some.
